Metro Manila has turned into a veritable foodie capital. Famous food concepts from around the world have set up shop in the city. Meanwhile, local entrepreneurs are also busy busting out one new innovative joint after another. Last week, I was pleasantly surprised to get a chance to stick my head out of the whirlwind of new restaurants to delve back into a classic─ RED JADE at The Manila Hotel.

Greeted by the sight of a predominantly crimson and gold theme, the interiors of the restaurant echoed the elegance of Manila Hotel (the Grand Dame of all Hotels in the country) with its very own uniqueness.
After all the cuisine is Chinese therefore thematic....
Red Jade offers dimsum all you can for only Php988. Enjoy steamed pork spareribs with black pepper bean sauce, steamed crystal shrimp dumpling, piggy face lava buns (custard with salted egg), sliced chicken Szechuan chili sauce, stir-fried soya sauce egg noodles, Chinese vinegar dumpling, century egg congee, pan-fried radish cake XO sauce, and, deep-fried chocolate buchi. Indulge in these fine selections of freshly made dim sum, complemented with a pot of premium tea.
