One of my best Korean food too dinin', I love the food because they perfectly cook and the taste was really good. I always order the jokejang,bibimbap and of course i never be completed eating Korean food with out samgyupsal, and the server is really approachable and friendly. I really recommend this place to eat, because the price is not expensive and the food is good for sharing.👍
This is a hidden gem in Poblacion! Before all the "samgyup" places started popping up, ito na yung binabalik-balikan namin! We have seen so many owners take over the place, but this resto still serves the same good food. You can pick your favorite meat - lahat masarap! Just make sure to get enough of the onion salad, pickled radish, sides, and kimchi. The cold noodle soup and the kimchi stew are superb too!
Along the side streets of Poblacion, Makati, you’ll find Seoul Galbi. It’s one of the oldest Korean restaurants in the area and, even to this day, it’s a favorite haunt of foodies, expats looking for authentic Korean food, and ordinary people like us who are still up past midnight and craving for some late-night samgyupsal.
They do not offer buffet sets like most of Korean restaurants around the metro but, their meats tasted flavorful and served in generous slices. Side dishes can be refilled thrice (Kimchi and Fish cake so good). Staff were kind enough and substituted our least likely favorite side dishes to our preferred ones. Also, they change the grill without you even asking. For 2 persons, I spent around ₱1.1K- 2 meats, 1 soup, plus blueberry & strawberry ice cream sticks. I really like it when the attendant cooks the meat for you and all you do is eat! 😄
Very authentic. The food is great and staff are friendly. The ambiance is a little bit off for me hence the 4 stars. However, I would still go back for the delicious food! 😍
Seoul Galbi is where I go whenever I'm alone and craving samgyupsal. They don't offer unli meat, but it's okay bcos the portion of the meat is fair for the price.
Loved their Dwaeji Galbi (marinated pork ribs) & Galmaegisal (marinated pork skirt). The servers will grill the meat for you, which is great cos you get to enjoy eating without having to worry whether your meat is still raw or getting burnt.
Their unlimited side dishes are pretty good (fish cakes, pickled korean radish, cabbage kimchi, togue, cucumber kimchi, stewed potatoes, and a spicy lettuce salad) but sometimes the quality changes.
FYI: A lot of Chinese and Korean people go here to eat and drink, so it can be a bit loud and offputting especially when they're being rude to the staff. For me, it's not an ideal place for an intimate date unless you're both drunk.

One of the best hole-in-the-wall Korean restaurants in Poblacion! When you want to satisfy your Samgyupsal craving but don’t want to line up for hours, then you should just go here! They do not offer unlimited meat but the serving size of their meat platters are quite generous. The lettuce is very fresh and clean, the side dishes are good, and they have the best steamed egg! The servers are really nice and they will even cook the meat for you. The manager of the restaurant is also very friendly and accommodating.
Their fish cake was superb!!!!
We ordered Samgyeopsal and Bul Samgyeop (pork belly with spicy chili sauce), Suntobu Jigae, and Gimbap with Teokboki for 2 persons.
Anyway, I got a 10% discount off from my total bill because I came around 3PM, not bad 😋 The staffs are friendly and accommodating as well.
Went here on a sunday night. Crowded. But luckily we didn’t have to wait for a long while. Anyway, there’s alot of koreans eating here, hence a giveaway that this place is really authentic. We had the marinated porkbelly and the stir lion steak. Beef was just perfect! They also have good side dishes which is refillable. Porkbelly was also good too. Service was great for us as I am with an expat friend, i feel the servers are a little more attentive to us. Which is good. Haha. Anyway, don’t expect too much as this place is not highly sanitize, i mean the smell of the place was a bit funky and table was a little dirty. Price isn’t cheap too. But the experience was great.

Been here twice already! And I can say that it's worth every visit! 😊
Ambiance: The place was quite gloomy, small, and looks outdated but they have WIFI so it's still good. The restroom is well maintained.
Service: I still find the girl crew not that friendly, but their service is satisfying enough.
Food: Worth the price! I think it's more affordable than the unlimited ones. We ordered samgyeopsal and spicy marinated pork. The meat was definitely thick! Unlike on the korean stores that offer unlimited meat, I think this is much better and tasty. They have 5 side dishes, and refillable up to 2 times. Fish cake was superb!! Sweet potatoes got perfect sweet taste. Kimchi is good as well for me because it's not too spicy/sour. They also serve steaming egg, but it's kind of salty. Lettuce wraps are not of same sizes but it's okay.
Tip: You need to order at least two dishes. Side dishes for meat are refillable up to two times. They have korean ice cream as well!
Definitely I will come back again!!!! Hopefully I can order now teokbokki and gimbap!! Would recommend this to my friends!! ❤️
