I've been watching Binondo Foodtrip vlogs in youtube for a very long time, and luckily, I was able to try it last January 2020, and Sincerity Cafe & Restaurant is one of the most popular in their vlogs.
We've ordered:
1) Half Sincerity Fried Chicken (180php) - Quantity is great, Quality is much greater! Crispy on the outside yet so tender and not overcooked.
2) Kikiam (60 php) - It's my first time trying this kind of kikiam (sanay lang sa kikiam na tigpipiso. haha), but it's really good to try, though I find it a bit expensive as the portion is quite small.
BBQ Spareribs
Sincerity BBQ Spareribs has tender and juicy pork spareribs that perfectly blends with its bbq sauce. BBQ Spareribs costs Php 150.00.
Sincerity Fried Chicken
Sincerity Fried Chicken has crunchy breaded skin with well-seasoned and flavorful meat. Sincerity Fried Chicken costs Php 160.00 for Half Chicken and Php 320.00 for Whole Chicken.
Fried Oyster Cake
Oyster Cake is a combination of egg, rice flour, and oysters. The texture of the former is comparable with fried tikoy coated with egg but with the distinct flavors of an oyster. Fried Oyster Cake costs Php 200.00 for small and Php 250.00 for big servings.
We only got to try three restaurants for our spontaneous Binondo food trip. Sincerity Cafe was last on the list. We ordered the most popular item in their menu: Chicken!! We also got Kikiam as a side. Surprisingly, the Chicken was so good! It was the usual chinese style chicken, not super crunchy but it was so flavorful! Half serving was enough for two people to share. Not a fan of their Kikiam, it was just okay. Weren't able to finish it.
The oyster pancake and fried chicken cooked Chinese style are seemingly the best sellers in this whole in the wall restaurant that is now branching out to other areas of the metro. Prepare to wait long in line as this place has a lot of old time customers who keep going back.
One of the best fried chicken in binondo, it goes really well with their ketchup. Their oystercake are a hit or miss as it is a bit gooey than its supposed to be.. the 8 treasure machang was really great, i love how the fst just melted into the rice and provides so much flavor..
Food was good but the Sincerity Fried Chicken was exceptional! So far better than I expect it to be. I would definitely come back for that chicken. The Sincerity Chami and Fried Oyster Cake was spot-on in its flavor. Overall, it was a good dining experience. Ambience was crowded but manageable. Service was awesome by the way. Servers were nice and very accommodating. Keep it up!
Fried Chicken, Oyster Omelette, Fried rice, Chami.
Fried Chicken was flavorful and cooked perfectly; crisp on the outside, juicy on the inside. It was good but nothing special. Oyster omelette was good too, definitely better than that of Cafe Lugang's. Fried rice and chami were both average at best.
Sincerity cafe and restaurant live to my expectation. Its a small narrow establishment which can seat dinner in either on their first or second floor. But I'm not here to rate place, though its a plus factor but for the food itself.
Previous visitor suggested kikiam, fried chicken, and spare ribs. We do the same (since we are doing binondo food crawl) except the fried chicken (baka mabusog bigla).
Kikiam is to die for. I think i can eat it for whole day meal. May amoy ng kikiam sa kalye but taste different. Iba ang lasa ng authentic. My partner love it too. The the pork dish which i forgot the name, ti-nake out namin kasi bitin sa rice. And sarap ng lasa at sauce.
If time permit, we will stay here longer and try different dishes, im sure sulit ang babayaran nyo.
As much as I wanted to try their famous chicken, I am on a solo food crawl so I decided to just order their Kikiam and oh boy I was amazed! I don't know how they made it but I'm sold!
We went here for dinner on a Saturday night and their place was packed so we had to wait but the wait was truly worth it!
We had their 1) Sincerity Fried Rice; 2) 1/2 Sincerity Chicken; 3) Pancit; and 4) Lumpiang Shanghai (spring rolls).
We absolutely loved their chicken, shanghai, and fried rice! The serving was big and good enough for sharing. Their pancit though kind of have an after taste which I didn't quite like but we had some leftover so we had it packed to go and it tasted better the morning after (lol).
I liked that they serve this tea which cleanses your palate and helps you get over the "umay."
Their service was good and their prices very reasonable. Good choice for when youre craving for Chinese!
