This is my go-to place for quality specialty coffee! It's so rare to find a coffee shop that you can lounge in that serves the quality of coffee that they do, in the heart of Manila! I've never been a mocha drinker, but their mocha with its 55% cacao got me hooked. They always have new inventions as well that show just how inspired the people behind Latitude are. It's easily accessible via commute (jeeps along Taft Ave, then onting walk) and has free parking available. It's kind of a hidden gem right now, and though I wish to keep Latitude all to myself, I see this place getting more and more packed as the weeks go by.
Great interior! A coffee ahop where you can really be productive 😊
Another hidden gem found for specialty coffee lovers! Nestling within residential homes, this quiet neighbourhood café in Malate, Manila offers a place filled with earthy yet cool tones while its minimalist features kept intact - assets for having quality coffee time. The interiors can draw someone in, but it’s their coffee selections that stood out, especially their drink named ”Malate”!
My favorite neighborhood coffeeshop, love the cold brew and nori chips
My girlfriend and I went here for the first time last week since I've always wanted to try out the coffee there. I loved it so much! The aesthetic and ambience of the shop was great. It's such a perfect place to study, work on uni activities, and have meetings in. We tried their iced latte, cold brew, green tea latte, and hot flat white for beverages. As someone who likes bitter coffee, it was perfect for me, but my company wasn't very fond of coffee. She however, enjoyed the green tea latte and she loved the waffle. The waffle was served warm with a gelato on top and strawberry syrup. I had a bite of it and it tasted phenomenal. The syrup didn't taste artificial and it reminded me of those strawberry jams you can get in Baguio.
Will definitely come back to study there again! I'm planning on trying their cakes and croissant out next time!
Finally got to drop by Latitude this afternoon to work on something. Love how quiet and cozy the place was even after a few customers have arrived, I think including the owner/s.
I love their Mocha! I think they are using tablea, I can literally taste it. The best mocha for me so far. Plus got to try their carrot cake since it is my favorite. It did satisfied my picky tongue.
Was a tad full so didn’t managed to try their truffle pasta, will definitely go back for that.
One issue for me would be the air conditioning system. It’s a rainy day but you know how the weather can still be humid. Hopefully they can try and make their shop a little bit cooler for added comfort. 😊
So overall, the place is great, I love the ambiance, the restroom is clean. And of course their food and coffee are superb.
I tried the coco brew and it was really great! I’ll definitely come back for that cold brew. The place had a cozy quiet vibe, very nice for meetings and studying. The place is very instagrammable!
There's still so much to improve on but overall, we liked our first visit here. Finally a café in Malate that serves specialty coffee. Spanish latte's a bit sweet - will try Iced latte next time but Mocha has always been the best choice. The mocha drink had the right balance of espresso and chocolate flavor. Also tried the Mushroom Grilled Cheese sandwich, bread was crunchy, filled with cheese and mushroom. A bit disappointed with the truffle pasta though, pasta was already dry when it was served and didn't taste much of a truffle pasta. Hope they could improve on that. Also, would love to have wifi there next time and improvement on air-con.
Giving it 4 stars for the coffee and ambiance!
entering this quaint café gives that sense of tranquility, a nice haven to battle the metro jungle and heat. They offer varieties of iced coffee, the cold brew being my fave, and some other cool mix of thirst quenchers. And if you're into taking your coffee hot, they brew one of the best coffee in the metro, using quality coffee beans prepared by expert baristas (when my dad says the coffee is good, IT IS GOOD...). They also have a range of pastries, sandwiches and pastas to pair with your drinks. And of course, chips. (:
Finally, a place in Manila for good coffee, delectable food and nice ambience! Dishes and patries are served fresh, drinks are good, service is impeccable and a nice place to chill with friends.
