If you're looking for authentic and affordable French food, this is the place to be. Seems like the staff were trained in a 5 star hotel, very attentive and accommodating and knows their food very well.
My favorites are the mussels and the duck confit. The duck is just how I remembered it in Sarlat in the dordogne region, the duck capital of France and the mussels, in the south of France.
The desserts are worth all the calories!!! Light and fresh and mildly sweetened. None of those heavily loaded sugar desserts that covers the lack of culinary expertise of a real chef.
L'artisan lives up to its expectations of what French food should be. As they say, one should be able to taste the raw ingredients in every dish and enjoy the real taste of it just as it should be.
Wine weekends are lalalove!
Shrimp salad with white wine... Magnifique!
Salmon with Chardonnay... J'adore!❣
and the Porkbelly with their best red wine... Merveilleux!
You'll never appreciate a great wine until you savour a 100% one grape from here.
The French owner and Executive Chef Jeffrey Broutin, his wife Herley Herrera-Broutin and their staff are very attentive and courteous in serving their sumptuous masterpieces.
