Everything was good- from their meat (I only ate beef since I don't eat pork) to their side dishes. They refilled side dishes fast and staff were attentive. Might come back again since it's relatively close to where I'm staying.
A good friend brought me here and I've loved it ever since. The food is relatively affordable, and the sides paired with beer is top notch. I come here regularly even alone just to blow off some steam. The crowd is nice and the service is excellent. Staff are snappy and friendly.
It has been awhile since I made a review but I just have to rate this place. Among all the korean restaurants in cebu, this is by far the best. From their pork strips to their beef brisket and even their famous makchang while is ox tail.. it simply is the best!
The waiter will be the one to cook for you so all you really have to do is sit and eat.. and have a good laugh with your friends. I would recommended the beef brisket.. their meat is so good and fresh. I am also in love that they have grape royal! Perfect combination.
A must try korean restaurant!
I've been here many times and this is one of my favorite Korean Restaurant, especially when I'm craving for Mak chang (Pork Intestine) which is their specialty. It's soft, chewy and tasty. The side dishes are unlimited, you can ask for a refill if you want more. The waitress cooked our food and served us well. The restaurant is clean and I like the interior. The staff are fast and attentive. I will surely come back here again!
Price is okay. Food was great. The tables and chairs were a bit far and you cant move the tables near since the exhaust is also far and they had to line it up to the table.
My first experience was at 2AM in the morning when I had a sudden Korean bbq craving. The woman who served me and my friend was very polite & also cooked the food without rushing. I would advise going around the same time I went there to get the full experience. My server told me that during their rush hours they usually let the customers cook the food on their own.
I have been to some korean BBQ outlets before, and this one serves a round of applause. One reason is because the staff is so hospitable and really nice. Second reason is that there 막창 (makchang) is super lit! So delicious that you can’t resist ordering 5 times (if possible!). The place might be a bit far for the people downtown, but if you wanna taste reall korean food, go to this place!
Modern and clean seating area, great Korean bbq with a good variety of meats and sides to choose from (the free sides are excellent as well). If you’re in the mood for some Korean samgyupsal, you won’t be disappointed if you give this restaurant a try!
Despite being out of the way, my friends and I always come back to this unassuming Korean BBQ place. Industrial interiors, ample seating, great food — plus, unlimited side dishes, and they cook for you! All you have to do is sit there and stuff your face with their delectable meat and other dishes. Try the marinated beef rib (you won't regret it), and for something to go with that bottle of soju, try the eponymous makchang.
Nice place, good food, excellent ventilation. A bit expensive but the experience is what makes it worth it. My friend and I had a great time here. 👌👍
