Chicken pandan and phad thai are what we order most of the time. Really affordable with zomato pro especially during dates. If somebody else is paying, suggest the roast pork, although pricy, this is the best in their menu.
I have always eaten at this resto everytime I finish my spinning class.
They have a separate menu for Zomato Gold members which the waiting staff will kindly explain what can be paired (like pad thai for appetizer and some curry and pineapple rice for the mains)
I also love how their one order of pad thai can be good for four people or even for just two yet very hungry people.
Their curry also hit the spot of being an authentic resto serving Thai cuisine. Good for friends and families.
The ribs is so soft and yum! Phad Thai is good! But my fave was their Masaman Beef Curry! They have big serving. Wasn’t expecting how big the Oyster Cake is!
Fast service. 5-star pad thai. Friendly staff. Cozy ambiance.
I also love how they have a separate menu for Zomato gold instead of asking the servers which ones are included in the 1+1
We tried their Pad Thai, Chicken Noodles, Salmon Teriyaki, and Gai yang BBQ chicken. Their noodles were really good! My personal favorite is the chicken noodles because it’s less spicy than the pad thai. Their serving size is really generous too. One thing I didn’t really like was the bbq chicken since it was a little dry on the inside.
AMBIENCE
Restaurant was roomy with not too many customers throughout our stay, and the layout of tables and chairs wasn't cramped up. Entrance is wheelchair-friendly, plenty of dine-in seats were available and air con was strong. A function room is available at P1,000/head (consumable) for a maximum of 20 people. For Zomato Gold perks, customers have to fill up their tiny forms themselves. One nice thing about their menu is having one specifically for Zomato Gold and the free dishes.
FOOD
Tom Yum Goong was tasty, very sour and addicting enough to keep us scooping and sipping quite a number of times; loved it! Tod Mun Goong (Shrimp Cakes) had a crunchy coating and soft, warm shrimps. Best part was really the plum sauce! Cucumber Salad was typically good but I wasn't much a fan of the strong-tasting onions. Basil Chicken got spicier with every bite. Vegetable Curry had excellently mild sauce and the tofu was my favorite part. Among all dishes, my ultimate choice was Tom Yum Goong! I find the overall menu expensive so having Zomato Gold perks was really, really helpful.
SERVICE
Zomato Gold menu was very helpful and deciphering the bill was pretty easy!
Always a great food experience. Went to eat here three times in one month.
Pad Thai, chicken barbecue, soft shell crab curry, basil meats, rard nah, etc. are some of our favorites.
Not bad. People’s palace is way better but not bad. I’d go back.
Branch in Shangrila was really good. Fast service and the staff are very accommodating.
Perfect place if you want an authentic chicken barbeque. Plus the waiters are nice and attentive.
Bbq chicken was cooked to perfection. Yummy!
One word to describe, delicious. The restaurant wasn't busy so we got to enjoy our dinner with quiet and relaxing ambience. The staff was attentive and service was quick as food didn't take too long to arrive. All our food was well seasoned and flavoursome; comparable to what we had in Thailand. For starters we had the green mango salad; sweet, sour, salty (from the dried shrimps), and refreshing on the taste buds. For mains we had the green curry and pad Thai. The green curry although not too creamy was lovely with rice and comes with tender pieces of chicken. The food here will set you back a fair bit but you'll be compromised with good food and service.
This place boasts of comfortable seats and good ambiance. Servers was very attentive and provides water refill without the need to be called.
The food was great and the quantity per serving is good to be shared by 2 persons.
It's a little pricey tho compared to some other thai restaurants in the metro.
Always a family favorite! We went to Original Thai BBQ for dinner and ordered our go-tos:
Bagoong Rice
Pandan Chicken
Spring Rolls
Pad Thai
This place is perfect for large groups. The portions are big and just right for the pricing. 😋
Food and staff were really nice! Polite staff, big serving, family satisfied!
Better to dine here during mid day though, cos their dishes come with rice and it was quite heavy.
Thai go to place whenever we go to Shang Edsa mall.
Top orders:
Pad thai 5/5
Green curry chicken 6/5 ( sooo good)
Chicken Bbq 4/5
Pork ribs 3/5
This was my first time using Zomato and we were amazed! Love love this restaurant. Their ribs and pad thai are the best! Good ambience too ❤️

The food was absolutely amazing. This is where you go if you want to get bang for your buck especially when using zomato gold :) staff were friendly
Spontaneous dinner with my bestfriend!
One of the legit and traditional Thai restaurant in PH!
We ordered the Pad Thai, Chicken BBQ (Gaiyang) and Assorted Seafood Thai Curry.
Phad Thai - the texture and each of its ingredients compliment and its very good to the palate.
Gai yang - the chicken meat if fresh and juicy — plus the sauce is the bomb
Seafood curry - the taste and the flavor of the sea food and curry sauce is well balanced. The fish used in the said dish is well cooked.
The ambiance of the place is cozy and clean. Staffs are fun and approachable.
Commend!
This is the second branch we've tried and food is consistently good! Serving is big enough for sharing and surely, their menu will satisfy your thai food cravings.
I had a wonderful time here with the friendly staff and generous servings. great for double dates and families. I would definitely return here.
Me and four other friends visited today (thanks to zomato gold!) and enjoyed everything we ordered, from the green mango salad to the bagoong rice to the thai green chicken curry. The bbq pork belly was so tender and delicious. Our favorite dish was the thai green chicken curry. Service can be improved especially when the servers are all inside and there are customers seated outside that would like to call their attention. Overall, everything we ordered was good and it was a pleasant visit. Will come back for more green curry and rice!
Good food, good flavors. Service could be a little faster. I used zomato gold here. We got chicken satay combo and a free beef masaman curry. Place was full on a Sunday lunch.
We got the pad thai and the spring rolls. The pad thai was pretty good, although there was too much sauce. The spring rolls were crispy good, taste-wise, just a tad greasy.
Food and drink 5/5
Ambience 4/5
Price 4/5
Service 3/5
❤❤❤❤❤their food!!!
Personal favorites : thai chicken bbq, beef basil, pad thai and pandan ice tea.
Went here because my mom and her amigas where already dining here. They ordered all the food I cannot eat because I have a crustacean allergy so I ordered my one food.
Chicken masaman curry tastes better than most of the curries I have already eaten. I love the combination of spices. It's just that I wish the sauce will be more "thicker." The fish cakes are good to munch as well.
Staff is courteous and I love the orchid painting that is hanging near our table. By the way I really love their container for the tom yum. I need to know where to buy one of it.
Staff were polite and helpful when we chose what to eat. A bit pricey and serving were smaller that I expected but loved the Pad Thai and Gaiyang! Pad Thai was flavorful.
thai bbq has been perfect 3/3 so far. i've been to two other branches of this restaurant and always had a great food experience.
the bbq and chicken dish was very tasty. there was no need to dip it in the sauce that came with it. and because i am a salad person, we ordered the papaya salad which was not only a good choice but something new to replace the usual, more known and often ordered pomelo salad.
The foods are authentic. Excellent location and ambiance, very confortable. Good servers. I always love the Thai green curry, the aroma is amazing. Looking forward to try their PadThai
Food was ok. Not the best thai food out there, but it will do.
Pretty pricey if not for the zomato gold perks. The staff was ok, though they forgot about the zomato gold benefit. They immediately fixed it when prompted though.
The server Ryan is really great and very patient. The food here is really flavorful. I was surprised how well prepared the food is and how tasty it is. I would definitely go back. I ordered the Tom Yum Gai, the soup broth is something I’d look forward to every time I’d go to Shang.
We ordered Pork Sate and Pad Thai. Pad Thai is a must in this place!!! Well, I guess that is the case for most Thai restaurants but theirs is the type that I would crave for. I've tasted Chicken Satay from other restaurants before but this is the first time I'm having Pork Sate. The pork is not soft to my bite, but the sauce and the salad that comes with the Sate makes up for it. Food is a bit on the pricey end for me.
Food was great!
Pad Thai was just right. I love that they have chili flakes and lime on the side. The catfish and salad was a good starter. Highly recommended!
The Thai BBQ chicken was moist and well seasoned! The oyster cake was delicious. I love how the sweetness of the sauce mixes well with the fried oysters.
The satay combination was ok. Wished they made the beef more tender.
Overall a good Zomato gold experience. Worth going back for rounds :)
Great food. Quite pricey, but really good. Ordered fish cakes and Gail Lai ( premium beef sautéed in broccoli leaves). To be honest, we were surprised with the price of the fish cakes. Always thought this was a generic street food, but 420pesos for 5 pieces is quite something. Nonetheless, rich in flavor with a complementing sweet vinegar sauce. Beef is tender cooked in oyster sauce! Only ate a bit but will try to explore more next time.
Everything was yummy!! Stuff were great and very attentive! My favorite was the seafood curry and beef satay!! We will definitely come back!
Great Thai food, prompt service. The pomelo shrimp salad was fresh, sweet and with the just the right salty-sour dressing. The bbq pork spareribs is also good, the bbq chicken was a little dry. Pad Thai noodles are on the saucy side.
I love this restaurant! One of the best Thai restaurants here in the metro! Service was great also! Servings are good for at least 2-3 persons!
Good food, price, and service. My tummy is happy and hooray for Zomato Gold! Don’t miss out on their pad thai and sate combination. The staff are friendly and the dishes they served are so delicious! Ideal for dates and family dinners
Food was great. Specially love the Catfish salad. Sate combination (3 beef, 2 pork and 2 chicken sticks) was enough for 2-3 people. Love the peanut sauce also.
Excellent service. Staff were friendly and attentive. Food was good and serving size was good for sharing. The only negative comment I have is that the food is not spicy (for thai food) but then that is a matter of taste.
I love their beef mansala curry! Pure taste. Serving is good for 2-3 person. The customer service is good aswell as their dish. Definitely the best thai around shangrila
We ordered BBQ spareribs and sate combination. We loved the BBQ Spareribs. The meat was tender and seasoned perfectly. We didn't like the sate as much. It was overcooked and dry.
Loved this place. Food were great and reasonable price! Service were good and food came out early! Definitely will come back and recommend this.
Celebrated my birthday here a few weeks ago and I was happy they were able to put us in their VIP room. We had bagoong rice, chicken barbeque, shrimp pad thai, satay and tom yum. Most of the servings were for sharing. Surprisingly, we liked everything except the chicken barbeque. It was dry and a bit bland.
I love this so much! Legit ang PadThai nila ❤️ then Good for 2 na to! Sarap and sulit. Legit din ang 1+1! Worth it ang membership! thank you zomato.
I love it. Flavors are oozing with greatness, quality of foods. Serving are good to satisfy a hungry tummy. Nice ambiance and well accomodating staff. Highly recommended
Went here for snack. Food here is very tasty, especially their Pad Thai. I must say that is was one of the tastiest pad thai i’ve ever eaten. Aside from that, do try their pandan chicken as well. Ambiance is okay. They also have very polite staff and the service is fast. I’d definitely go back for some pad thai fix. Cons, i think it’s overpriced.
Finally had the time and opportunity to have another meal here at Thai BBQ, a US brand that specializes in authentic Thai food. My first and last visit was more than a year ago!
Anyway, tonight I had dinner with my folks and Mia. We agreed to dine here for two reasons (besides them serving good food), proximity from my parent’s home and them being part of the elusive Zomato Gold promo.
The membership paves the way for us to have complimentary Shrimp Pad Thai, valued at Php 420. This dish represents Thai cuisine and this restaurant did it well. It had a strong peanut presence and a nice touch of citrusy taste.
We also raved two of their best- selling products, Chicken & Pork Barbecue. Both types of meat were tender and its flavor heightened by their signature sweet and smoky barbecue sauce. I suggest getting more sauce to add. Pair this with their Kang Kong dish, a good salty and spicy bowl at the same time.
Our bill was less than Php 1,200, thanks to the promo and having the presence of two senior citizens. Who says it’s expensive here at Thai Bbq?
Their Classic Thai BBQ Chicken is a MUST try if you like your dishes sweet. Both dishes were worth it because not only was it fairly cheap, the serving size was huge as well. My company & I couldn’t even finish what we ordered so we had to take it out.
I’ve always thought that Thai BBQ served commercially diluted variations of the cuisine I adore, hence despite the numerous instances I’ve passed by their restaurant last week was the first time I’ve actually had the chance to dine in it.
Oh boy, This is one of the few occasions I’m happy I got things wrong. Despite the concept coming from LA, Thai BBQ displays some serious chops in serving their version of Thai Food. The highlight of the meal of course is their Thai BBQ which was moist, juicy, smoky savory and very tasty. It came in in a serving that can comfortably feed 2-3 people, perhaps even more if diners become thrifty eat it with a lot of rice. Its sauce was rich and had an amplified sweet and salty cadence which gives BBQ a mouthwatering character.
They also serve surprisingly good pad Thai, which has the right consistency and moisture in its noodles and had notes of nuts and dried shrimp (you experience a certain tastebud epiphany whenever you get to bite the fried shrimp). It’s difficult to put your fork down, because each mouthful is an invitation for more.
It’s not people’s palace, nav or benjarong but they do a great job in transforming Thai food into mainstream food.
Cucumber salad which came with the pork sate was excellent with some chili for a small bit of slice. Pork sate and bbq chicken has that lovely grill smell. I am sure they have expert grillers in their kitchen. Shrimp fried rice is lightly flavored (matching the hwavy dishes) and not too oily. Tom kha gai soup is creamy good; we picked the less spicy version. Panang beef curry is also good but could use a bit more spice.
Menu needs improvement. More pages to incorporate pictures please.
Place is nice, cozy and spacious. Service is high level. Wifi is available. Food serving size is very very generous, all the dishes are good for sharing. Definitely value for money.
Servers are very warm and accommodating. The place was clean and well-kept, modern yet exudes luxury. We ordered soup (which tastes like sinigang) and eggplant salad (which was ok). But the highlight of the meal was the BBQ (which I was told was the bestseller). Meat was soft and you can taste the flavor on every bite. Would definitely come back again.
We ordered a couple of dishes, I’d evaluate them one by one.
The fried spring rolls were tasty and stuffed well. Wrapper was cooked to crisp, albeit retaining a little more than usual amount of oil.
Pad thai was delicious. It was tasty, noodles were cooked well. In my opinion though, there is too much happening on this dish. They could mellow down on the amount of diced onions for this one.
Crispy oyster cake was still great! It stayed through to its adjective. However, the crispy part is mainly due to the breading that enormously came with the dish. Not a lot of people would like it because they’d feel that they’re eating air, but taste-wise, I personally like it. Crunchy!
The satays (pork, chicken, and beef) were lacking in seasoning. They were a bit bland and also overcooked. The meat sticks were dry. Sayang, because this should have been the main ulam sana.
The duck dish was delicious. Duck was seasoned well with salt and pepper plus it wasn’t fatty. It was cooked perfectly as the meat retained is juiciness and flavor, best with the sauce and rice that came with it.
Big servings! Make sure to have big appetite when you eat here.
Had a chance to eat here during their soft opening and their food tastes great! Ambience is 5 out of 5. Love their pomelo salad. It's fresh and has real good flavor. I will definitely go back to this restaurant.
Great food. Nice ambiance. Wonderful interior. Friendly staff. I am looking forward to visit the resto again with my friends. The price is justifiable given that it is situated in Shangri-La mall.

Went to Thai BBQ for lunch today - it’s a very new addition to Shangri-la Mall and still in soft launch phase. We ordered Thai Iced Milk Tea (Php 140), Green Mango Shake (Php 140), Sate Combination (Php 720) and Chicken Massaman Curry (Php 480). Loved the Milk Tea & Shake - both were perfect. The curry was very yum and good for sharing and was served with one portion of jasmine rice. The sate combination was also good for sharing and served with prawn fried rice. Didn’t like the chicken sate but the beef tasted good. The prawn fried rice was too sweet for me. Overall, great service, plush seating and reasonably priced food given that their portions are good for 2. Do visit!
The ambience is quite relaxing and, actually, comfortable. It creates a good feeling to enjoy their food. My friends and i had pomelo salad, pad thai and spare ribs. I love the foods we ordered, except for the pomelo salad. It was sort of sour and one of the herbs they put in the salad was too strong ( at least for me). Spare ribs was good. It was truly flavorful, and the pad thai noodle was absolutely mouth-watering. Overall, i enjoyed the food. The cost was a bit high, but if you are with friends and/or family dining in and you are sharing the food, it is fine. The service was also satisfactory. Waiters were all attentive and friendly. Free wifi was available, too.
New thai resto in the metro and we decided to do take out from here.
Went for the Tom Kha Gai soup which was good but kinda similar to what you get elsewhere. Phad See Eyu , however, was quite unique. It has wide rice noodles mixed with chicken, broccoli, baby corn, etc. In a soy sauce mix. Very tasty.
I was feeling really low lately, so i decided to try this new thai place at shang -i love thai food! (accidentally bumped into some folks there --argh whyyy), that aside, we dined here for my tummys comfort.
I was surprised the most of the prices in menu were out of my budget (uhuhh! Mej mahal), so i ordered probably the cheapest food there -a pad thai (good for 2-3; 500pesos); mango salad (280pesos); and fried spring rolls (280pieces). Tastewise, i really liked their pad thai. Firm noodles, good amount of meat, tasty, little too sweet though. The mango salad hmmm, it was small serving (lugi). Forget the spring rolls. Total bill was 1300pesos (we are 3 dining people)
