Tried Blk 513's newest item on the menu "Frozen Yogurt Drink". This is not just an ordinary yogurt drink but its difference would be the presence of activated charcoal that makes their yogurt black. In light of this pandemic, the store can only cater to take-out and delivery. That's why we decided to purchase their frozen yogurt drink. I bought the white cheese while my sister, the Cacao chunk. The White cheese yogurt drink speaks for itself, a creamy blended yogurt on ice with chunks and hits of cheese that you can taste. It's a bit salty like rock salt cheese although I still have chunks of ice not blended in it. The Cacao chunk has itself big cacao nibs mixed and chocolate syrup drenched on top. Only downside would be the waiting time.
I will try other flavors once I visit again.

The charcoal gray color of the yogurt sets BLK 513 apart from the rest of its competitors in terms of uniqueness. It is also a lot firmer and tastier (even if it's the mildest I've tasted -- I know! Ironic, right?!) than others.
Freshness and quality wise, I think BLK 513 and the other froyo shops on the same price range are the same. They have different toppings though, so it now depends on one's preference.
A very healthy way to enjoy desserts! 1st time to try Faux Ferrero, i dont like it that much but still good though.
Always my go-to dessert place. 😊 I fell in love with frozen yogurt when I first tasted this. It’s hust pricey, though.
Was my first time to try their ice cream. Was super confused as to how their service works but was also in awe of so many toppings they have. The price is worth it for what you get. Would definitely come back 😊
This will always be my favorite brand of frozen yogurt. The dark skim cup which includes 1 crunch, 2 fruits, and 1 sauce, is priced just right. I love the combination of the yogurt and fruits with slight crunch, and it will always make me come back here.
I was at Megamall the other day and saw the long line at the stall selling colored tapioca drenched in brown sugar then covered in milk, and I just thought, what’s the value in that? 🧐
So I went for my favorite BLK 513 dark skim cup instead and gave my tummy bacteria 🦠 some great new friends. 👌

We had our first BLK 513 experience in this branch and we liked it! I thought I wouldn’t enjoy it because I am not a fan of yogurts but surprisingly, I did! The place is only a small kiosk with limited seats but you can easily grab your cup and eat on the go. Also, isn’t it too Instagrammable? 😊
I love that this stall offers customizable greek yogurt. I feel nit guilty eating this because I know that I'm enjoying a dessert while being healthy.
Love their froyo, its a winner...just that the only prob is there's not much seating, sometimes some customers stays there a bit longer instead of others having a chance to sit and enjoy their froyo...
My sister introduced me to this. We had dark skim cup and i knew from the sight of it that i wont be able to finish a whole cup nor any of its variant so i had to beg her to share hers with me instead just so i get a taste of it. And boy was it deliciously good 😲 The sauce she chose tasted like trader joe's crunchy cookie butter which i love!!! An instant favourite, this one 😍 I'VE BEEN CRAVING SINCE THEN 😢

I LOVE THEIR FROZEN YOGURT SO MUCH!!! When I bought here I didn’t expect that their yogurt would taste that good. The price is just right for the product that you’ll get. I ordered cereal sauce I think??? With oreo, strawberry and kiwi and it really didn’t disappoint. I would come back here again and again if I could and if I had all the money. 10/10 would recommend this if you’re craving for frozen yogurt.
Red velvet cheese sauce for the win! The best froyo I’ve tasted so far. It’s having a dessert less the guilt, at least a little. Haha! It’s really gooood I went back a few more times in the same week when I first tried this. 😆

Tried this way back 2015 when they opened their first ever store in Megamall wherein queuing was crazy. And tried it again for the second time and that VERY UNIQUE taste is still the same. 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
I like their froyo because its gluten-free, contains active probiotic that is very good for digestion, and is low in fat and sugar which is great for those who are health conscious but has a sweet tooth.
They have a variety of Artisan sauces and tops like Oreo, cereal, smores, nuts, fruits, etc., which you can mix and match according to your liking. If you haven’t tasted it yet, DEFINITELY WORTH THE TRY!!
FroYo have always been my go-to food and Blk 513 doesn’t disappoint. You get to decide the contents of your cup, the place and food are aesthetic for social media, it’s a healthy food, and you get the value you paid for.
I ordered a Charcoal FroYo with Mangoes, Strawberries, Caramelized crunch, and Milk Jam. The combination on my cup is great. I recommend this place for everyone. 😊

I noticed that they have more choices and well-organized compare to other BLK 513 branches. It was my first time to try Red Velvet Cheese sauce and it was delicious!

Best frozen yogurt dessert. Been fan since its inception. That's why changes in the product due to market costing is noticeable for me. From 2 crunches to 1, green fo blue spoon, big cup to slightly smaller, and yogurt serving size amount changes.
Food - 5. Regardless of those changes, I am willing to spend for it. Yum!
Ambiance and Service - 4. As this is more of a to go and easy to eat cup, you cannot expect much from the store. I just wished that they consider having credit card as one of their payment method.
Combination: Oreo Pie, Double Mango and Ferrero Faux Sauce.
Charcoal activated frozen yogurt and using a more dense Greek yogurt makes BLK 513 different from the other fro-yo places.
I like the cup serving with choice of crunch, fruits and sauce.
I got the chocolate chip for crunch, peach and dragonfruit for fruits and the berry sauce.

What is it about BLK 513 that got me so hooked? Ever since I had my first taste of it during the grand opening of its Glorietta branch, I’ve been craving for it. Is it the tart sweetness and rich creamy texture of the Greek yogurt enriched with activated charcoal?. Is it the melding of flavors and the contrast of textures from the inclusions in each Dark Skim Cup (Php189) or Dark Skim Cone (Php155 for chocolate cone and Php170 for Japanese Matcha Cone or Real Strawberry Cone)?

Loved the Chocolate Malt for the crunch, and the dark chocolate sauce. My friends had Matcha Green Tea sauce and loved it, too.
The staff was very knowledgeable with their product and offered recommendations for first timers. Enjoyed the yogurt and happy with the service. Would definitely come back.

Been craving for this frozen dessert and yep, my first time to try BLK 513. For the choices of two (2) fruits, I chose kiwi and strawberry that made my dessert really tangy plus the activated-charcoal yogurt itself. But the sauce I picked (spice cookie caramel) that made it really balance because of its sweetness. ✨

This is one of my favorite snacks of all time. Not only because it’s tasty, it’s a healthy snack too! We always order a Dark Skim Cup whenever we go here, and try a different crunch, fruit, and syrup.
The charcoal yogurt is not that sour like other yogurts that I had. It was just right, and it goes along with anything that you’ll put on it.
So far, my best combination I can recommend is Granola crunch, mangoes & strawberries, plus dark chocolate something (sorry I can’t remember the name). Try it, it’s realllyyyy tasty! ❤️
Great dessert, yoghurt is just the right amount of sweet. Plenty of toppings to choose from, from fruits to chocolate. A must try if you are a yoghurt person. Cheers!

They serve yoghurt with activated charcoal which makes the yoghurt uniquely colored black. The charcoal does nothing to the taste but provides extra healthy benefits. I once read that activated charcoal contains many small chambers and cavities that bind unwanted or unhealthy materials and gas inside our body and carry it safely through the digestive system. So it means BLK helps us keep our body clean from unwanted materials!
BLK is just usually 3 steps: choose your crunch (I usually take the granola or the brownies but there is an additional fee of Php5.00 for some), choose your 2 fruits (I like strawberries and lychee) and then choose your sauce (I love their faux ferrero and the blue velvet!) and then the server will put the black yoghurt and voila! Your healthy snack is ready!

This joint never disappoints. We got the charcoal infused yogurt topped with sugar free cookies, mango, peaches and blue velvet syrup. It was sooo good!
I honestly hate peaches and dont know why my partner even ordered it for me but it was surprisingly well balanced.
I thought this was just another hype, but looks like we've found ourselves a new favorite! Perfect for our sugar cravings!

For dessert, we decided to try blk513. We had a cup of their charcoal infused frozen yoghurt cup for 190 pesos that includes 2 toppings, 1 crunch and 1 choice of syrup. I had sugar free brownies for my crunch, mango and dragon fruit for toppings and cookie crunch for syrup. I liked the cookie crunch syrup, i think it's speculoos that they use here. My brownie crunch also match well with the yoghurt. Overall satisfied with my choice of toppings crunch and syrup.
I got hooked with forzen yogurt, first time to try this branch as I frequently go to the BHS. Similar quality and taste but service was better here. I don't see ego and flirty staff unlike in BHS. Been here 3x in May and service were consistent.
I regret not trying this early on but I guess it's ok since there's no more long queue. My love for yogurt was revived since this is a novice way of presenting this healthy dessert. I got the Dark Skim Cup...butter bar as crunchers, kiwi and dragon fruit plus matcha cream. The not so sweet fruits blend well with the sourness of the yogurt and the sauce. I was afraid my teeth would turn black but it didn't. Will definitely try other combos next time as they all look promising.
I just love this yogurt parlor being true to its words - MORE THAN THE USUAL YOGURT. I wanna come back again and again for more. I loved that BLK 513 has a matcha flavor for green tea lovers out there! For me, their yogurts does not have a strong taste that will make a cringe feeling. All I felt and tasted was ENJOYMENT, HAPPINESS like I’m still a toddler enjoying a frozen treat. HAPPINESS OVERLOAD. Made me cry due to too much joy. 😍💕

First time ko matry yung BLK this April lang, and ang saya kasi sulit na sulit siya sa budget lalo na may 2 choices of fruits naman and yung serving ng yoghurt hindi naman tinipid. Yun lang yung iba nilang fruit hindi matamis and yun nga limited yung choices mo if ever di ka nga mahilig sa prutas. Haha. Pero masarap siya at sulit talaga, yung space lang sana medyo mas malaki para makaupo lahat and sana yung mga staff medyo mas mag interact at ngumiti. Haha.

Dine-in space is very, very limited. Set your mind on taking out just in case. They have space for two on the left side and for a group on the right. We actually shared with a group of three since we were only three too. Line starts from the left going right.

I like that you can choose your crunch and fruits.
Dark Skim Cup was mildly sour as expected. The homemade Oreo sauce was sticky, creamy, and pretty addicting since I'm more on the sweet side. The crunchy malt was okay, as well as the lychees and peaches, which I originally thought were mangoes *Face palm! The Greek yogurt just melts so fast.
Service
They were apologetic when they informed me that they just ran out of Dark Skim Cones. They also don't serve drinks like the Matcha Skim. I was originally getting that but at least I tasted something slightly new.

I really wanted to try BLK 513 since it's "sulit". I have no idea what crunch, fruits and sauce to pick since the choices are over whelming for me.
I got sad when my usual choices (crushwd graham, mangoes, sliced almonds) are not included but I still bought nonetheless.
For almost 200 pesos, 12oz and toppings is a good offer especially in frozen yogurt, not to mention the charcoal part.
On to my choices...
I got the smores, since it has grahams, grapes and peaches (which I though was mangoes), and berry sauce (?) since I'm not a fan of chocolate in my ice cream.
The grapes are juicy and delicious, the marshmallows in the smores is great with ice cream.
I really hope they include my choices, might buy again if ever that happens.
Their frozen yogurts really tastes good. There are a lot of toppings to choose from such as fruits, granola, crushed oreos, and almonds. What i didn’t like was that they have a very small place and limited tables.
My stress reliever. I always go with this combination : Granola + mango + strawberry/kiwi + Matcha cake sauce. Staff is accomodating. Kahit maliit lang yung place, di naman lahat ng buyers e umuupo sa provided space. No worries. 😉😉

Me and my boyfriend are just walking around after a heavy lunch, then I remembered that BLK 513 have a promo yesterday that if you purchase a dark skim cup, you can purchase a dark skim cone for just P2. So we immediately went to their store and surprisingly there's no much crowd, I think they didn't advertise it that much, so it won't be a frenzy with the queue. The server even just whispered at me informing about the promo. The frozen yoghurt is great as expected, I'm a frequent to their S Maison store so BLK 513 is not new to me. The service is great, I just wish that they have more seats or even move to a quite bigger space
I thought the color meant that the taste will deviate from the usual froyo taste. It's the same. Only looks more appealing. I liked it but am not sure if I'll buy again. Just because I don't frequent the places where their branches are.
The best frozen yogurt ever! I always buy here everytime I go to Megamall. The line is kinda long but the serving time is fairly fast enough.
This has always been my favorite froyo dessert since! I always get the matcha sauce, granola, mangoes and kiwi! The sourness of the ice cream and fruits are well complemented of the sweet matcha sauce. A cup is very tall and its only for P185!
A greek dark skimmed yogurt with matcha syrup, partnered with mango and kiwi is a mouthwatering stuff. Definitely one of my favorite and I'll try orher combination.

Since I mentioned earlier that the place is nice what I do not like is their space, it is really small. You cannot stay their for a tete-a-tete with a friend.

Overall: Tried something unique – Blk 513’s Dark Skim Cone Cup. This is a greek yogurt with activated charcoal placed on a dark chocolate cone, not sure what it is 😂 but it was surprisingly good. Was expecting a very tangy one but it was not, which is a good thing for us non-yogurt aficionados. Try it to experience yourself. And oh, please do not expect a place to stay at this one. They only have one table (which is definitely occupied) and a few side benches that are not date-worthy. We just have to finish these cones while walking, no choice 😅
Value for money: Worth it for BOGO. Too expensive if there’s no promo though. Might go back to try other items on their menu.

Finally tried the most talked about froyo in town. Love the variety of flavors to choose from. I guess that's why the line doesn't end. Will try more flavors next time.
This froyo has become part of my routine whenever I'm in Megamall. My mom loves it too! It is just so irresistibly yummy especially when the seasonal raspberry sauce is available(tho i luv matcha sauce too), I usually have it with ultimate vegan toppings, kiwi, and strawberry.
BLK brought real excitement to me as it is the first charcoal froyo I've heard of and seen 😁

Blk 513 is a dessert parlor that offers charcoal-activated skim yogurt, along with other healthy desserts. Their branch here in SM Megamall is open-spaced so there was not much available seats to sit on. However, their availability of seats did not hinder them from having customers. The lines are always long every time I visit.
The first time I tried their dark skim yogurt back at their S Maison branch, I thought that the taste was okay and that I would try it again someday.
After months of craving, I decided to try out Blk 513's dark skim cup again but this time, at their SM Megamall branch.
➿Dark Skim Cup ➿(185 php)
[1 crunch + 2 fruits + 1 sauce]
- I decided to have my Dark Skim Cup with the "Rainforest Crunch" (Cashews, Dried fruit, and Sunflower seeds) for my crunch, "Strawberries" and "Kiwis" for my 2 fruits, and "Matcha Milk" for my sauce.
- The yogurt's color was lighter compared to the one's at their S Maison branch. Maybe the yogurt was not infused that much? Anyways, the taste and texture were the same. It was still light, airy and slightly sour. However, I still like my yogurt on the sour side. It also melts really quick so be fast in eating it!
For the crunch, it was good. Highly recommend for those who love trail mix.
For the fruits, they were fine. I do have to mention that the Strawberries were still underripe. They did not have a bright red color which gave no natural sweetness at all.
For the Matcha milk, I expected more. I tasted more of the condensed milk than Matcha.
Overall, Blk 513 is okay. It is not very special when it comes to the flavor of the yogurt but knowing that each cup is filled with all those good benefits is crazy. It still is not a place that I'd come back to for my yogurt craving but It was still nice that I got to try it out.
What can I say more for this yogurt ice cream with granola toppings and matcha flavor? It was sour but definitely very healthy I guess. I don't believe that ice cream is a junk food. Not unless you have a granola, a yogurt and matcha on it, that is a different case.
This is for capping the night (or day) off after watching a Korean film. Yes, it was a Korean Film Festival and Food Festival at the same time in Megamall. Perfect combo!

Dark Skim Cup: This is soo good! For my toppings, I got Chocolate Crunch, Strawberries, Peaches, and Salted Chocolate Gravy. Some may not be able to appreciate the yogurt since it's quite on the sour side but if you'll take a spoonful of everything then you'll surely love it. It's like a symphony of different flavors in my mouth. The sourness of the yogurt, the sweetness of the fruits and choco crunch, and saltiness of the gravy is sooo good.

I find it quite pricey considering the it only has few toppings.

This long-hyped yogurt place has always made me curious. I really like yogurt but it's always been a bit pricey for a usual date. So once again, thanks to Booky B1G1, Paul and I were able to have a taste of this popular treat.
The stall in Megamall has few chairs, so the yogurt is really a treat made to eat on the go. And though the Booky coupon was for a Dark Skim Cone, there were no more cones so we got ours in cups. Which, given the few seats and my messy ice cream eating habits, made more sense anyway (yay!).
My Dark Skim Cone had peanut butter and jelly crunch (the best seller, according to the attendant at the time) and a cookie butter-like sauce. Paul had wildcard choices: malt crunch, and matcha jam.
So did BLK 513 live up to the hype?
I think it did, but I would like another go at the toppings + sauce choice to make a better evaluation.
The charcoal-activated yogurt is the tangiest I've had so far (compared to Pascual, Nestle, J.Co, and Llaollao). Call it psychological but it does also feel healthier...at least until you think about the toppings xD But reading up on all the benefits, yup, that stuff is pretty good!
The peanut butter and jelly crunch, made of peanut-flavored cubes and raisin-like berry bits, is good and sweet and a safe choice. The cookie butter sauce is quite addicting, but it can get overwhelmingly sweet if you don't mix it in well with the yogurt. I suggest taking lots of pictures then mixing up your whole 'sundae' in order to get a bit of everything on your spoon.
Paul's unusual combination actually makes sense on the tongue, with the playfulness of malt mixing with the tang of yogurt and earthiness of matcha sauce. I actually liked his flavors better than my own classic combo.
In a nutshell, do try this if you're used to sour/tangy things (like me) and it's not your first time eating yogurt. I'd love to try this with fruits another time, since I want the full healthy treatment, so to speak. :D
I'm not really fond of yogurts because of their tangy or sour taste. But I'm glad that I tried this one. I like their variety of toppings. You can also choose to have it in a cone. However, I chose mine in a cup since I thought that it would take me forever to finish it and it will melt easily (and I thought that right lol). I also liked their key ingredient, which is the activated charcoal. And honestly, it doesn't affect the taste of the yogurt. Will definitely try the other combinations soon. A bit pricey though (for me).
After a lunch in Ukkokei, we wanted a quick dessert before leaving Megamall.
We tried BLK513, a nice large stall that is well decorated and can be slightly intimidating, especially because it asks a bit of time to understand what's going on there since the name doesn't help to understand the product and the decoration overtake the explanation board.
I was decided to try this but, as I observed around me, some people were staring at the stall during more than 5 minutes to check what was being done.
I think they could improve on that, to have a signalisation a bit more agressive and understandable.
Well, we got a black cone that came with a "butter crunch" topping (really not sure of the name) and we chosed some milk jam.
The ice cream/yoghurt has a funny colour, tasted good but didn't taste any different from what you can find elsewhere.
Didn't really like the crunch topping (should have gone with Granola !!) and the milk jam was good, didn't bring too much sweet to the dessert.
Lines can get really long during weekends. Taste is good and the variations they have are really good, too! Servers are very warm as well. The only problem is they do not have a space aside from a small table in the corner so eat as you go.

T'was the same old typical yogurt but what I loved the most was the toppings esp my spiced cookie syrup! It was the best! Craving for it now actually haha
Got the usual cup and topped it off with Granola, Peaches, Starwberries, and their Valhrona Chocolate syrup. Pricey for most people but I consider BLK yogurts to be my own personal 'reward food'
Blk 513 is my go to frozen yogurt after a day of food trippin'. It's a perfect end to a day of walking all over megamall and eating all that greasy food. You actually feel healthy just eating their frozen yogurt.
There is nothing more rewarding that treating yourself right with a cup of this amazing goodie after a tiresome shift at work. BLK 513's always been my fave with it's perfect balance of refreshing fruits and frozen yogurt! Drizzled with matcha, this yogurt won't hurt you. 😊

I had been waiting for shorter queues to try out the charcoal infused frozen yoghurt at BLK 513 and this Saturday was my lucky day! Being a sucker for healthy desserts, this place earns brownie points since the yoghurt is made with skim milk and also contains active probiotic cultures. I went for the cup option which was served with 1 crunch, 2 fruits and a sauce at Php 185. I chose oreo crunch, strawberry and dragon fruit with dark chocolate sauce. The sauce was premium and hence it added an additional 10 pesos to my bill but tasted deliciously sinful! The yoghurt was greyish and not black but hey let's not discriminate based on colour😛. Overall, healthy indulgence!
Recent visit update: They now have strawberry & matcha flavored cones which are super crunchy & fruity and perfectly complement the yoghurt!

Late late post...
Sometimes there's a good thing about not hotly following food trends and letting the hype subside first, before finally getting to try the place and its food. You don't suffer long lines, you get served quickly, and you order and eat in peace.
I spotted BLK 513 on a happenstance and found out -- no crowds! No long lines! No fuss. So finally I had the chance to try out what BLK 513 had to offer. So I had the limited-edition BLK Red Cup (₱185) in time for the holidays! Red velvet cheese? Hmmm... So tried this by curiosity
It's aesthetically pleasing - the red velvet cheese sauce trickling over the dark skim frozen yoghurt enhanced with activated charcoal. Under the dark frozen goodness, were the soft, chewy and gooey butter bars, and my two choices of fruits: strawberry and kiwi. The whole concoction was topped with sprinkled grated coconut to simulate fallen snow on Santa's hat (at least judging from what my own order looked like).
From the first scoop, there was certainly a melange of flavors and textures playing in my mouth -- sweet and sour and just a bit salty, then creamy, gooey, soft and crunchy (due to the seeds of the strawberry and kiwi). I liked it. I loved the butter bars in particular!
I'm not a frozen yoghurt fan (nor I don't like it, it's just OK) and to me BLK 513 is just another froyo like BonChon's KoYo or any other froyo -- basically sour because of the good live bacteria -- but the difference in their taste lies in their assortment of toppings which set one yogurt apart from another.
One thing's for sure though -- it didn't make me feel guilty even after scoop, after scoop! The servings were pretty big but I think ₱185 is a bit too much though for a yoghurt. So I could only see it as a grand treat once in a while.
'Twas worth the try. Next time I'll choose the much sweeter toppings

Froyo is good and the color is cute! One of a kind.. One serving for the price of 185 pesos is worth the price. You can share it with a friend. You have one crunchie, two fruits and one syrup with this price. I had white chocolate, mango, strawberry and strawberry sauce. Yummy!!!
The crew is a different issue, they are not accommodating. Its my first time to order so I had to ask what to order. She's seems uninterested, why? Do you expect all who orders froyo are experts? Come on! And please learn how to smile.
BLK 513's frozen yogurt is a thankfully not as sour as other frozen yogurt joints that I tried before. The fact that it is also black in color should not be a source of concern for any guest; it tastes creamy and mild, good for any palate. Top it off with a choice of sauce, crunchy topping, and fruity topping and you are all set. My personal preference is muesli, banana, and faux Ferrero sauce. Nothing beats the combination of bananas and hazelnut for me.
