The Guiltless Chocolate Delight cake and the African Sunrise tea are my no-brainer orders in CBTL. Perfect comfort food especially on midweek rainy nights. I've never been disappointed in the quality of food, service, and ambiance on this specific branch.
After errand done in Shang, decided to eat here as i crave for their pasta. Luckily got a seat right away as there were only few customers. Ordered iced double chocolate and their signature pasta. Staff were so accomodating plus a nice place to chill out.
Just the usual coffee afternoon and this is the one I’ve chosen since I never tried this cafe before despite of it’s growing reputation in Philippines.
I ordered double chocolate mocha and cheesecake. I’ve been blown away by the cheesecake, but the mocha is just okay, it didn’t really made an impact to me. Service is okay and the branch in Shangrila is a good spot with a good view in 2nd floor.
Great place to study and chill because of the overall ambience of the place. Great coffee and food. There is wifi connection available for swirl card holders but not always reliable. In addition, there is no restroom available in the place so you have to go to the pay restroom outside or go to the mall.
Felt like drinking tea while in Shang with the family. I still remember the event I was invited to a couple of weeks prior where this tea was introdubced by the Tea Master himself , David se Candia.
It is called Paradise Blend, a tea crafted by David to pay homage to the Philippines.
Its fruity aroma and flavor is refreshing given that it has our local mango and other tropical fruits incorporated jn the blend.
It has become a personal favorite
Feeling under the weather today because of a really bad cough and some colds, so I really wanted a warm drink to help me feel better. This steaming hot mug of Moroccan Mint Tea Latte from Coffee Bean just hits the spot. ☕️ It has a strong minty aroma, which was soothing— perfect for my clogged sinuses! It’s a perfect addition for any rainy day (or sick day) with its refreshing minty taste coupled with the strong tea flavors mixed with the subtle splash of milk.
(Sorry for the low quality photo.)
I frequent this branch whenever I'm at Megamall or Shangri-la (before the the smoking ban) since they have an al-fresco area. Those who want stay inside the establishment, their tables are available at the second floor. They do not have their own restroom but the building has one just outside.
The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf offers drinks that have the right amount of sweetness in them. Their base is not "pump" syrup type which is the reason for their not-overly-sweet drinks. Every coffee based drink they offer really excudes coffee and not being overpowered by the "flavors".
I have lived in Mandaluyong for almost three years and Coffee been has always had a special place in my heart. Not because of the coffee but because of the staff and employees specifically on this branch. You will feel at home because they will make you feel welcome. If you want to relax your self from stress and want to be alone, this is a perfect coffee shop to be at. I couldn't ask for more. I hope that you continue to do what ever you are doing to your valued customers.
Always been a cbtl fan. My first time though in Shangri-la plaza location. I can say the ambiance is quiet and clean and has that chill homey vibe. Just like any other cbtl branches I’ve been too. Just discovered this spot today, and I’m so glad about it because it’s just near where I live. Had their spicy tuna lenguine, mocha marble something cake and hot green tea latte. It’s always good.
This is a very good spot to relax and take a load of your feet for a little while. I think a little more coffee in the coffee would be nice. But all and all a good spot.
Coffee Bean is my favourite. I always look for a CBTL branch wherever I go. I prefer this than any other famous cafes here simply because they offer lots of different meals such as pastas, pastries, all-day breakfast and other goodies.
The place is very relaxing. I can totally be at peace here.
This branch in particular has never failed me. I just love CBTL!

I still choose coffee bean and tea leaf over Starbucks because they have an additional breakfast menu compared to the latter and for me it is less crowded. My favorite is their pasta and this sandwich, which I always order when I'm having breakfast at this place.
This branch of The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf (CBTL) does not have any indoor seating on the ground floor, but it does have al fresco seating that is great at night, as well as a spacious second floor with a lot of seats and outlets for those busy with work or studies.
As for me, I just settled into a seat with a large cup of Mexican Hot Chocolate. I previously tried the latté version, and the one without coffee is a lot creamier, but also milder. When I tried other kinds of Mexican hot chocolate, they usually had a strong spicy taste and aroma that I liked because of the cinnamon. CBTL’s does not have that strong flavor I seek, but it still stands on its own as a tasty, creamy drink.
I so love this coffee shop. I never thought that there's a 2nd floor in the store. TCB always impressed me with their Interior Design and this is the only TCB that is not too crowded because I visited the store on sunday morning. Lol. I ordered Egg Bens which is my favorite with Hot Double Chocolate.
I like staying here especially on a weekday when there are only few people. Their sounds are okay and you’ll get to be focused on what you need to do. Almost perfect for working; would there have been power outlets, it would be perfect! Staffs are also very friendly.
Absolutely fell in love with the CBTL Turtle Pie (Php 135)! Also tried the Triple Decker Cheesecake (Php 145) which was okay. I don't like cheesecakes which don't get the crust right☹️The heavenly turtle pie was a blend of dark chocolate, caramel and cream cheese with a crushed oreo base and topped with a pecan nut - perfect combo to fulfil your chocolate cravings yet not too sweet to the palate! Also, in the Shangri-La mall outlet, the CBTL folks provide great service which is commendable!
Went for the Sardine & Garlic Linguine. It was good as usual. I think they're trying to get rid of the outlets(plugs) in their branches? It's a bit disappointing when you go to your spot just to find the outlet blocked lol. Love the staff here though.
It was my first time viaiting the branch and I must say, they have very friendly crew. Will surely come back and bring friends with me the next time I visit the shop. Thank you!!!! :)
CBTL Vanilla Latte nursed my tastebuds (and heart) back to health. Nope, not even kidding. Haha I was going through an ugly break up and didn't really have the appetite for anything--it had been that way for weeks. I stopped by the store and asked the cashier for her recommendation--vanilla latte. One sip and it felt like i was jolted back to reality--one where i can see, hear, feel, and taste stuff again! It was a lifesaver. It's become my favorite caffeinated drink. I just wish there was a sugarfree option so i could enjoy it as often as i want. 😋
Rich in flavor! Super yummy but mejo pricy. The plating was good as well. The place is very clean and fast wifi. Sana lang pwede mag charge dito ng phone. I guess they limit it para d gawing tambayan. Oh wel!!
I met up with a friend and we had some coffee and tea here. I got a Chai Tea Latte which is my fave at Coffee Bean. There's seats outside and at the second floor. We got seated upstairs and stayed there for an hour or two. I love the ambience of this branch - it's a nice place to hang out.
I've met up with my friend cause I'm collecting donations for a medical mission by the end of the month. While waiting, grabbed a sandwich for late lunch. I ordered Grilled Chicken Pesto sandwich (Php235) and Latte (regular-Php140). I wish the chicken was chopped into strips so it wouldn't fall off easily. But it was hefty and tasted good.

I love Coffee Bean and I would commend the coziness of this place. This is one of the best place i have visited.Good thing there is a restroom nearby.

Its my 1st time here to come in all outlet . My mission was to help my friend collect remaining 6 stamps for his 2 planners and luckily my friends were so kind that they bought drinks and give all those 6 stamps to complete . I was just thinking usually others preferred smoking after drinking coffee or frappe then I saw a no smoking sign on our table . Its an open area though ? Maybe its one of their rules .
Their ice blended drinks may be more expensive than their main competitor but what I like about CBTL is their genuine passion for their craft and the opportunity they give to their Brew Your Best Community members and loyal customers. This particular branch have outdoor seating and comfy lounge type area in their second floor. I always order their fattening but delicious double chocolate ice blended but this time i got it for FREE because last Thursday they celebrated National Coffee Day by giving away complimentary coffee based drinks to Brew members and loyal clients. A saving of 195pesos! I ordered a Sardine Pandesal to go with my drink. It was bit hard already because it was left exposed while they prepared my drink.
Free wifi for CBTL Swirl cardholders. The second floor was quite that time because it was a weekday late afternoon. So nice place to lounge and relax. The area was kept clean. Recommended.

This CBTL branch, conveniently located outside Shangri-la Mall, is a great place to hang out while waiting for the mall to open or for your buddies to show up. The place has a relaxing decor, cool ventilation, upper floor seating for 30+pax and windows that overlook the goings-on at the Shangri-la Mall drop off zone.
When I want a big breakfast or brunch, I go for the Eggs Ben (P295): poached egg on ham and bread generously drizzled with hollandaise sauce, accompanied by a salad, spiced bread and spreads.
This time, I just wanted something sweet to snack on so I got myself a Chocolate Chip Cookie (P65). I poured myself a small cup of warm whole milk placed in the newspaper section and dipped my cookie in the cup for some comforting milk and cookies!
I LOVE THEIR GRILLED CHICKEN PESTO SANDWICH! ONE OF THE BEST SANDWICHES EVER.
The bread, the chicken, the cheese and the pesto sauce plus the salad? WHAT A PERFECT COMBINATION INDEED.
This branch is on par with the different coffee bean branches in the city and like it's other branches, it's one of the best coffee shops in the city. I love most of the pastas and sandwiches here specially the Sardine and Garlic Linguine. They also have delicious coffee and ice-blended drinks. My go to drinks here are the Pure Vanilla, White Chocolate Dream and the new Vanilla Almond. The staff here are nice and they have separate WiFi hotspots for the first and second floor. It's a nice place to hangout and do business meetings as well.
For my visit in CBTL Shangri-la, I got myself the Chinese Chicken Salad and was not disappointed. My salad was paired with an order of Ultimate which is prepared and tasted similar in all branches. The only differentiating factor will be the place. This branch has a second floor which is full of groups ordering 1 drink for them to be considered "paying customers" to stay for a while.
I tried CBTL's Double Vanilla Tea Latte twice and Matcha Green Tea Latte once. I'm really pleased with the taste since it's the right blend of flavor and sugar for me. The staff are nice. The place is nice to stay at by night. Though I'm quite worried if it will be the same on a rainy season.
What I like most about this place is its ambiance. The lighting is adequate and the music is relaxing. It is usually quiet as the guests are usually students and business people who are either working or having meetings.
In my recent visit, I got caramel macchiato and a slice of cake called Nono's Chocolate Oblivion. The cake was moist and rich in chocolate flavor. However, I think it would go well with other coffee because their caramel macchiato is very creamy and sweet.
It's the usual here at CBTL with the usual look and service of the place. I am very fond of their coffee and tea. Their food is also better with the rest of the coffee shop chains. Hoping though that they would have built a better ambience of their shops. It's getting boring lately.
The ambiance is good but you will need to carry your own food on steep stairs to their second floor to enjoy it. Their best pasta dish is the sardine pasta. It is best paired with any slice of cheesecake.
The place to go to for early morning talks as they open earlier than Starbucks. Limited selection for drinks especially their green tea series but good for hungry folks who crave savory dishes with their coffee/tea/frappe. Be prepared to shell out a min of Php500 per meal.

Morning is best when you smell roasted coffee beans!!!
Affordable. Fresh. Clean.
Ambiance is ok well lighted! Great customer service! Always smiling!
Of all the times I've been to Shang, I never knew that there was a CBTL branch there. It wasn't till we circled back to go to the other parking area that I noticed CBTL and thought that it might have just opened but when we got there the barista told me that they've been there for more or less 6 years.
Having another coffee place at Shang that has an outside area made me happy. I had a little problem with choosing drinks that day because they didn't have anything flavoured, they only had the basics because they were having a problem with something that day. Aside from that sitch, I actually loved the place. The baristas were very engaging and it felt like they were making sure that every customer's experience was great. I was also told that they had a restaurant on the upper level which has more choices in terms of food. I'd really have to try that.
My all time favourite CBTL drink would have to be: Iced Chai Tea Latte, Soy based.
As for the food it'd have to be their Roast Beef Sandwich.

Went to this branch for a nightcap with friends. The first floor is basically just the booth, with tables in the al fresco area. More tables are available upstairs though.
I got Hot Double Chocolate while my friends Today's Iced Tea and Hot Tea.
The service is quick, and the staff was pleasant.
Since I craved for CBTL's blueberry bagel, I visited their Shang branch for lunch. I'm surprised how uber friendly the baristas were (knowing I'm a newbie). So I went to the 2nd floor and I'm surprised (again, hehe) that it's so cozy. It's perfect for thinking time, studying and working.

Another quick review for their latest offering - Salted Caramel Chocolate Cake. I’m fond of both caramel and chocolate so I was really excited to try this. The cake base taste is just okay. The salted caramel chocolate icing lacked a bit of texture. Yes, it was creamy but only on the first few bites. You'll barely notice it once you get used to it.
