This small joint is right beside Dumlao gym and beyond the usual commercial strip in Shaw. Loved the lentil soup with a subtle taste of mint. They have platter food for sharing that we were so down for. Platter was either for 4 or 6. You can opt for Rice or bread. Starts at ₱1000. The doner pizza was a real bang for your buck! Overall, was worth going back for.

I've never writren a review for Zomato but this one is something I wouldn't wanna miss.

Got here randomly and oh my goodness! Their beef doner w rice and pistachio baklava are heaven! The beef was well-seasoned and tender. The sauce is the perfect glue to everything. Rice is cooked nicely and super light. I'm surpised I was able to finish the entire plate despite the generous portion.

Will definitely come back! 💕

Another hidden gem in Shaw boulevard. Bricks and Copper is located just outside of Dumlao Sports Center. There are ample parking spaces but it gets full when there is a game or practice in the sports center. The food here is relatively affordable. Their Turkish pizza is a must try! really crunchy. The durum is also really good and is really juicy. I would recommend this restaurant if you are looking for something new for your taste buds.

We've been here twice since 2020 started so it's safe to say that we love it here. 😊 The price is unbeatable for authentic Turkish cuisine and I would genuinely eat here even without Zomato Gold.

Winners for me would be the: baklava, hummus, and wagyu kebab wrap.

They have good service too! Maybe only con for me would be the weird height of chairs for some of the tables.

Every single food about this place were superb! This is probably the best Mediterranean restaurant I've been too. Chicken & Beef Kebab were very flavorful & it has the authentic taste. The Hummus was very strong & even the omelette which both blends well with the pita. Plus the turkish pizza & turkish burger were very cheesy & full of flavors.

Service is also fast & the staff were very attentive. Will definitely go back to this place.

Great selection of food and servings are huge. Not too familiar with Turkish food, but I think this is a great place to get accustomed to it. Will try to come back soon to try the other dishes.

Serving sizes are generous, and it's made even made even more sulit because of the ZG 1+1 deal.

My boyfriend and I went here because he insisted we go somewhere close by my house. Not only is it close to my house, the menu is at a reasonable price! All the reviews here said their food was great so I was willing to try it and boy, they did not disappoint. The place was quiet (granted we got there about 5pm), the kofte was great and so was the hummus! I love the turkish rice and the roasted tomato. I really enjoyed my eats here and I’d love to come back.

This is a neighborhood small resto and we frequent for quick meals. Food is tasty, they have several options. Practically priced. They are not greedy on promo too 🙂. My favorite is their doner. Love their garlic sauce and hot sauce. Most of all, lady server tonight was so pleasant, attentive and warm. Also heard another customer praise her. Keep it up!

In my opinion, the most authentic Turkish restaurant you can find here in the Metro.

Food: 9/10
Simply incredible. The meats had that distinct middle eastern taste and pairs wonderfully with their white sauce. To be eaten with pita bread, naturally. Speaking of their pitas, I actually find them a bit thick, and deserve to be a bit thinner. They are delicious regardless. The doner kebab made me feel incredibly nostalgic as I have not had a kebab like this one since I left Europe. A must try

Location: 4/5
Very simple ambiance, but I found the decoration a bit kitchy (not sure if that is the word I am looking for). That being said, the decor does not detract from the overall experience. There is also ample parking space which is a big bonus.

Service: 5/5
Very quick service without being overbearing. I only noticed one waitress, but it didn't seem like she was understaffed.

Overall: 9/10
Seriously underated, and if you like middle eastern food. This place is for you

Almost feels like being back in Istanbul! You cant go wrong with their doner, kebab, or pizza - just leave the mezzes out. They lack flavor, for me - maybe thats just to suit the subtle fipino taste. But hey, I love my hummus garlicky and tahini-y.

And oh great service and attentive staff! Thank you.

Affordable and sumptuous Turkish meals. This is basically what Bricks and Copper has to offer. Adorned with colorful walls and tables, the place makes you feel like you're in Istanbul. We got the both kinds of lentil soup (natural and spicy) and it came with bread. I liked the chili lentil soup better as it was fuller and had more mushy lentils in it. We also got their Kofte kebab (beef and lamb) and Kuzu kebab (pure lamb). Both came with turkish rice, onion and tomato salad and grilled tomato and chilli. Serving size was okay and ample. Flavor was on-point and garlic sauce was classic.

A hole in the wall restaurant nestled inside a gas station in Mandaluyong. Ambiance was really nice and homey. I ordered doner on rice and while it was delicious, the beef was slightly difficult to chew. The garlic sauce was really delicious and goes well with the meat. You also have an option to choose a complimentary side dish, and I chose this spicy salsa-like dish that was bursting with flavor. Would recommend for nearby dwellers who are looking for a quick turkish fix.

A unique authentic Turkish cuisine hidden on an old gas station in Shaw. It is one of the authentic Turkish restaurants I have tried in the Metro. But there are only two servers which makes it hard to request for anything once the place becomes full.

This is a hidden gem. The food is tasty as well as very affordable. We ordered the Meze Platter half and it was still good for 3+ people. Also a plus that you get to shisha inside its aircon space.

A new addition to Eatigo’s roster. So we wanted to try turkish for a change.

Service was fast. And like most of our eatigo experience, we were the only people at that time.

I can’t remember most of the names of what we ordered but the shawarma pizza is something you would not forget. It was great!

This place is a must try if you want to explore something new.

After all the years, B&C remains strong. I hope this place never closes. They offer affordable and authentic Turkish meals.

The place is small but uncrowded, away from the noise of the cars but easily accessible.

Bricks and copper's pita doner has the same components of the shawarma except for the bread. They use bread pockets instead of pita. Their pita doner has a unique captivating taste that will not overpower your tastebuds. Their yogurt sauce is also different from the norm (mayo, garlic).

Their yogurt shakes, the plain one, is also very addicting and goes well with the doner.

Try their pita doner and I hope they give you cravings only bricks and copper can satisfy.

I'm glad I found this place, good service, fair pricing. This is good counter programming to the usual dining out experience with friends or family. Its right across the corner of Luna Mencias street where theres a Big Guys Pizza. Would definitely come back for more Turkish flavors.

Went here with my boyfriend. Food was soo good! 💕💕 He's turkish and he said its a legit turkish food/restaurant. I tried the turkish coffee, baklava, lahmacun, pita doner, ezme and soup lentil. Everything was delicious! I tried their delivery in food panda. Food was still hot when it got here. Will keep on ordering and hopefully i could come back again. 💛

A couple of weeks ago, I caught up with my fellow foodie and friend, Raina Cheng, of KonyoQueen.com. I invited her out for brunch since she just got back. She was looking for a spot that's different bordering unusual. I picked Bricks and Copper Turkish Restaurant in Pleasant Hills, Mandaluyong.

It has a hole in the wall vibe, located in a gasoline station that's a bit rundown. Inside however, is a cozy ambience, decorated with a few elements from Turkey. To have an actual feel of being in Istanbul, they play traditional music in the background while you dine.

We kicked things off with a serving of their Ezo Gellin (Php 100) or bride soup, which was made of potatoes, carrots, red lentils, tomato sauce, chilli flakes, and dry mint. This protein-rich, hearty dish was pretty much satisfying to the palate. The only downside to it is the toughness of the pita bread that came with it.

They served their Beef Pita Doner (Php 90) next. It has cucumber, onions, and lots of tomatoes in it. This charcoal-grilled beef wrapped up in pita bread was on the dry side and it seemed they scrimped on the meat and sauce as well.

Then, we had our turn at their Iskender, which is their signature dish, a household meal in Turkey. It has beef doner slices on top of the pita bread cubes, mixed with the special skender sauce and melted butter. I'm pretty sure you'll like this one.

Mixed reviews on their Meze Platter (Php 500) which is a variety of dips, including cacik, saksuka, spicy ezme, babakanus, and hummus. We got this together with a fluffy lavash or balloon bread, shaped like a football. The dips, on the other hand, were kinda salty, in my opinion, except for the creamy and tasty hummus.

We also ordered their Egg Pide (Php 150). This flatbread is actually their version of pizza in Turkey. Sadly, it tasted bland, and in order for me to appreciate it, I had to resort to eating them with the dips from the Meze Platter.

It was their Turkish Yoghurt Shake that we had downed to quench our thirst with. This I highly recommend. It comes with different flavors on a budget.

The highlight of our whole visit to Bricks and Copper was when we got to have a go at their Shisha! It was the apple and mint flavors that we got to try it with. Smoking it made my mouth and throat feel dry, but nevertheless, Raina and I enjoyed doing such. If you want to explore this, you only have to pay Php 250 for it.

So for those of you who are in the look out for Mediterranean cuisine in Mandaluyong, head on over to Bricks and Copper soon. Let me know how your visit turns out by posting or sharing your stories below.

Not having seen each other for a while, AlwaysHungry.ph begged for us to catch up on life. I was craving for Turkish, so Harvard picked Bricks and Copper Turkish Restaurant for brunch. I kind of expected to see bricks and copper, but the casual resto had none of those. Instead, the interior was loosely decorated with scenes from Istanbul and traditional music played in the background. [Read More]

Recommended middle eastern restaurant. Their dishes are tasty. Their beef and chicken are flavorful and their dough is freshly baked.
We ordered their chicken and beef pitta doner, iskender kebab, adana dorum, baklava.
Negative comment : they put chocolate on our baklava without asking us (baklava is just supposed to be dipped in honey sugared water). It's cheap chocolate and tastes bad.

Before they moved in to Dumlao Sports Center, I've tried this resto during their Zentrum Mall times. It caught our attention when my partner's sister worked here. So, my partner decided to bring me to this resto and celebrate my birthday. 'Cause my partner knew that I love to try other cuisines (or for others, weird taste foods). Maybe it just that I love to explore things that why I'm into tasting other cuisines. I studied at CEU, which my course was Dentistry, and I do have a lot of Persian friends and classmates, that why I used to their foods. And I like it, a lot.

Döner!
I may be bias, because we Germans have an unnatural fascination with Döners, but... Oh well. ;-)
I've tried their entire menu since they've opened and their quality hasn't changed. I understand that some find it lacking in taste, but that could be caused by the lack of ambiance of the restaurant branch itself.
Since I don't fancy eating a Döner while staring at slow moving traffic, I order mine for delivery.

I recommend:
Döner
Cheese Pide (you won't regret it if you love cheese)
Meze Platter
Lamb chop
Baklava

During its early days when Bricks and Copper was located at the 500 Shaw mall, hubby and I were fairly regular.

We love their omelette with tomatoes and chilis... What also caught us was their sampler of humus and a few other dips, best enjoyed with their freshly baked flat bread. Their version of tatziki sauce and falafel does wonders for a hangover by the way. Also, their kabab is a homemade recipe of spices with the meat. Nothing that comes off a franchise. :)

The husband and wife owner are quite the tandem. Hard-working and both very accommodating. It's a shame they had to move to the Dumlao gym area as the 500 Shaw rates were just insane... And the leasing group aren't exactly good with keeping tenants.

We will be back soon!

Bricks & Copper is located in the old Dumlao gym and you wouldn/t think that there is a restaurant in that place.  The dips that came with the beautiful puffy pita was divine except for the hummus which in my opinion could've had a creamier texture. The main courses with rice had tomato sauce with lots of complexity from the spices although the Kebab and Kofta was small and tough, too tough.  The Turkish pizza with the onion salad on top (their version of the famous Dear Darla) was worth the trip. Oh, and the chesse Pide had a beautiful crust and just the right amount of cheese. If these guys strenthen their main courses it would be a great hole in a wall resto. Before I end this write up, I always test Turkish places or restos of the same genre by asking for Sumac...and they had it on hand which is for me the quintessential spice when having kebab, kofta and the like.
