First time dining out in a long time, and Shake Shack Megamall is a very reassuring place to do so. They have fairly good social distancing measures, it's not one person per two seats it's one person per 4 person table. So when you are dining you are nowhere near anyone else. They also have this neat handwashing area that is completely automated, down to the dispensing of the paper towel.
As for the food itself, of course I had to get my hands on the new chicken sandwich, and it does not disappoint. It's good good crunchiness, good flavor, and it's a generously sized white meat portion. The pickles add a nice balance, all in all excellent sandwich. Had an ube shake too, which I haven't had in so long, and it's as good as ever.
Date of visit: December 2019
My brother and I went to SM Megamall to specifically eat at Shake Shack. I got the ShackBurger while he ordered the SmokeShack. I really love the burgers here because of the burger patties and vegetables that they use. It's of same quality as the ones I've tried in London and Seoul. Plus their fries with all that melted cheese on top. I have to admit it's expensive for a burger but it's worth it for once in a while splurge.
I had the cheeseburger, vanilla milkshake and cheesy fries. I think it set me about Php 600. A bit expensive. But pretty decent burger. The catch is - the buns are awesome. I think they are potato rolls. I loved the shake and fries.
Try it atleast once. Esp if you like burgers. Watch out for long lines. I will be back, if there are no long lines.
Been super excited to try Shake Shack, especially when they finally arrived in the Philippines. Luckily, I always happen to chance upon no lines at the Megamall branch (I have no patience for long lines!).
In my first trip to Shake Shack, I tried the Shroom Burger and the Cheese Fries. The Shroom Burger was REALLY good, and I would love to get it again. The Cheese Fries was just okay though -- it was a bit nakakaumay for my liking.
I got the Shack Burger and the plain fries during myy second trip to Shake Shack. I finally understood the hype about their burgers --- it was really good and crazy affordable for Angus beef. Also, I liked the fries better without the cheese sauce.
Overall, would love to go back to Shake Shack and try more of their menu items :)
I tried this place because it has become a craze when it first opened in BGC, so I wanted to feel the experience for myself - here in SM Megamall.
In two separate occasions, I tried the 'Shroom Burger and the Shack Burger. The quality of both burgers are good but the experience seems plain, that is, nothing so special about it. Moreover, the price is high for these burgers (especially the 'Shroom since it used a portobello mushroom which is an expensive kind of mushroom - can't recall if it's a big one).
Tried Shack Burger for the first time after watching numerous vlogs about it! Had my hopes high, and it didn't disappoint. Loved the juicy patty, and the soft bun paired with fresh veggies. I am actually expecting the line to be long since it's Saturday, but hey, it is not. Will definitely come back.
Love their burger and bun! Prepare to shell out 500 bucks for a complete meal.
I’m happy that they were able to maintain the taste and quality of the burgers, juicy and tasty as always. The vanilla milkshake is delicious but quite thick.
Plus point: The branch is not crowded like the one in aCentral Square, Bonifacio High Street. Staff are prompt and courteous.
Probably the best burger I had in a while. Quite small in portion size but makes up for its thousand island sauce, juicy beefy patty, American cheddar cheese and buttery buns. The lettuce and tomato tastes the same as any fresh produce would haha)
The first time I tried Shake Shack was in Hong Kong. I could say, the ones we have here in Manila are better (or I was just hungry). The line here compared to the one is BGC is quite shorter and there are multiple staffs that are there to assist you. The seats here are limited though which might be a problem for bigger groups.
I tried their 'Shroom Burger, fries and lemonade.
Loveeeed the 'Shroom burger!! Its ok to splurge once a month on these kind of food. Its worth it. I gobbled up this burger in less than 10 mins!! lol their fries were ok not worth mentioning like their SHROOM BURGUR.
Will definitely come back to try other burgers and their UBE SHAKE ashdkls. Will definitely come back with someone to save seats! def hard to secure one when your just alone. But I was actually surprised there was no line at all!
I still think their burgers are too expensive for the quality and taste that it has but what i liked most is their milkshake (vanilla) it was so good eventhough also pricey. Still worth it though, if you’re on cheat day and feeling fancy.
Tried their Megamall branch and, I must say, I am mighty impressed with food quality and service! This time we had the Shack Burger and the Shack Stack (Cheeseburger and 'shroomburger combo) wit fries and ShackMeister Ale and SM Premium. Loved it!

The burger I ordered is a classic one. I would have loved it with ketchup that they have but I had to try it without and it’s not satiating but not too special. I think it just lacks a little umami and it’s good to go. Over all I appreciate their burger because it is not satiating and is very filling on its own. While the cheese fries had heavy and good serving, it is truly best for sharing of 3-4 people of you all have burgers you have ordered. I promise, the potatoes are so real and the cheese that come with it is so heavy.
So I already had my review in their first Ph branch in BGC and the main difference is the queue to order food. In this branch there was no line considering they just opened 3 weeks ago. The burgers ofcourse tasted the same. I like the smoked bacon it adds flavor and texture to the burger. The fries is still the average tasting french fries that I can remember. Maybe next time I will try the mushroom burger and the hotdog.
Oh and I hope they can add more tables and chairs we waited a bit long to have a seat.
Burgers are good, but it's just a bit small.
Now this is fast food! Fast service and meal prep time amidst the long lines. Great tasting (and looking) burgers and fries, I wish they offer a smaller size for their shakes. Bright and clean ambiance, nice bg music.
I played it safe, by ordering the classics, a single ShackBurger, Fifty/Fifty and the Cheese Fries. An instant hit, the burger was moist, sweet and extraordinarily soft. The mayo or sauce used in the burger, was quite unique. The cheese fries were great, had its own style and complimented well with the burger. The fries weren’t salty surprisingly. The drink was alright...

When we came here at around 9:30PM, a counter was readily available so we were able to place our order immediately. Then we easily found a spot. Our order was also quickly served. We had ShackBurger (single and double patty), Cheese Fries, Classic Hand Spun Shake in Salted Caramel and Ube Shake.
CheeseFries-ShackBurger-UbeShake was my favorite pairing. I really enjoyed the fries with the cheese sauce on top. There's also ketchup and custard sauce available in their self-service counter. But the fries on its own was tasty and not greasy. The burger, on the other hand, was beefy and satisfying. While the Ube Shake was thick and creamy. It was how I want my milkshake to be.
It's not cheap to dine here compared to other fast food we've been to. But we didn't regret dropping by for the first time.
