I celebrated my 30th birthday at Tipsy Beans and we had a blast! Renting the whole cafe is affordable and absolutely worth it. The food was delicious, from the nachos to the pasta and sandwiches. The drinks are also worth coming back for -- especially the Irish Cream on Coffee Rocks! And the ambiance and decor is artsy and homey. Our pictures were IG worthy! Feliz and the crew arranged everything and set up the food buffet style. They have a sound system so we had a program and some of my friends performed. We went overtime yet they were so nice and accommodating about it! My 30th was so memorable and I am happy I found Tipsy Beans to celebrate it in. :) Thank you!

Tipsy Beans.

The whole cafe was kinda bit small, more like a studio-type size of a coffee shop. Interiors were stupendously remarkable. Creative and fancy! The concept of their shop having the name “Tipsy Beans” is quite good, knowing that they serve caffeinated drinks, fused with liquor. The ambience was fine. Staff were kind and friendly. The food that they served to us were delicious. Love the Pasta with Longganisa Bits, Adobo Flakes, and the Corned Beef. Just hoping for a little improvement on their wifi signal. It’s quite slow.

Certified all-day breakfast fan here!

If you are looking for something different from your usual breakfast, try this out. I love their Adobo flakes combined with their tipsy-iest drinks. Also tried their Tuna Melt sandwich and Pasta Longganisa. You will surely love the Shark Infested Lemonade with shark on top. And for the tipsy iced drinks we tried the Milo Chupacabra, Irish Cream on Coffee rocks and Tipsy Frappe.

SHErap! :)

Sulit place if you want to dine and wifi. The adobo is just to my liking. All-day breakfast are okay too. The coffee is great and so is the ice tea.

Good ambience. Oh, they have open mics on tuesdays? (edit: not sure anymore about the day)

Staff is super polite.

P.S.
If you go here for wifi, please don't trouble the other customers by opening your torrents. 😉

Tipsy Beans is a small, quiet place, excellent for having coffee and relaxing for a while. Guests are surrounded by various signages reminding them of the power of coffee as they can sit in comfy chairs. If they feel like reading, there is a bookshelf waiting that can help them pass the time.

For drink, guests can choose between sober and tipsy variations of their coffee. The "tipsy" version of course being any coffee that has a bit of alcohol in it (for instance, their Irish Cream on Coffee Rocks).

Since they no longer serve their Cafe Latte on Coffee Rocks, I decided to get the Mocha Frappe. It was creamy and sweet, but not overly so. I paired it with their Cheese Steak Bomb sandwich. It is sliced beef with cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and cucumbers in grilled ciabatta bread. A crunchy, juicy delight that can fill anyone up quickly.

If guests are not in the mood for coffee or sandwiches, they can opt for house blend iced tea, milkshakes, rice meals, or even pasta. Tipsy Beans has a lot to offer for the hungry soul, seeking gastronomic or just some quiet. I will certainly return if I need a change of scenery and a cup to revive me.

Coffee place that specializes in liquor blended coffee. Tipsy but awake? 😂 Located in Highway Hills in front of CGS. It's a small cozy place on a second level. I've been meaning to try it out and last Saturday, we did.

Arrived around 9pm, they close at midnight. They also serve rice meals, sandwiches and pasta.
Ordered Adobo Flakes(Tinnie 80grams is 159php, Biggie 120grams is 189php), it's shredded pork, served with rice, 2 eggs, cucumber 'n tomato and adobo sauce. Adobo was good, i should've been able to enjoy more if the rice doesn't smell. 🤔 Bf chose Cheese Steak Bomb(190php) as per server's recommendation. It's good too. It's served in toasted ciabatta with potato wedges on the sides. Beef was sautéed with mushrooms, onions, bell pepper and tomatoes drizzled with their homemade cheese. My boyfriend enjoyed it but bread was too "toasty" for me although the cheesesteak was a great combination. Wedges were delicious.

Milo Supreme(110php) was basically Milo Dinosaur with vanilla ice cream toppings. It was great. Generous Milo on it.

Servers were accommodating although the other server girl only serve 1 cup of water.

Hopefully, next time, we'll be able to try their specialties.

I like to try new cafes to have my coffee and salad as the 1st meal of my day. Tipsy Beans doesn't serve salad, so I had to get a sandwich instead.

Freshly brewed Americano was good. Tuna Melt Sandwich was good too - tasted quite fresh.

Good wifi and friendly service.

Ordered their adobo flakes and cheesy adobo.
Order their adobo flakes. It's delicious! Serving size of their adobo is big.
You can substitute rice with bread.
The cheesy adobo was just regular adobo. The cheese part was a joke... Something like 10 grams of cheese that I couldn't even taste the flavor. You wouldn't even know that it's cheese if not reading the menu.

Although a little bit expensive in comparison to coffee shop giants in comparison to price-size ratio, Tipsy Beans offer a unique twist in their coffee. I personally love to have a place where I can drink my coffee and my friends ca drink their alcohol.
They also offer food and the desserts I have tried are good tasting also.
They also have alfresco dining and is situated on the second floor of the building.  The smokes from the cars will not be in your face all the time. The inside of the store is spacious and you can experience privacy in any seat you take.
Their coffee drinks are also on the sweet side but you can always ask for ice/hot water.

Their tipsy drinks are very interesting!

The place is a bit small. I like though how spacious it feels even if it isn't that big. They also spaced out the tables well, making the place not seem so cramped.

I was here for a short meeting. I couldn't help it. I just had to try their Milo Chupacabra! It was pretty good!!! I found it a bit on the sweet side though and would have liked a little less condensed milk. The tequilla taste wasn't too strong and blended quite well with the milo. 😊

I can't wait to try their other items.

UPDATED: January 31, 2016

I excitedly took my friends here for Sunday Dessert Night. Sadly, a lot of the items on their menu was not available. It would have definitely made the experience so much better if my friends actually had the chance to try what they wanted to try.

The place also seemed very busy. Service took longer and we could sense that the servers seemed very tired. 😞

A chill place across the street. It's a good place for both studying and meeting a friend. The sandwiches are delicious. Their coffee though is not that remarkable. It's too pricey for me knowing that they use powder instead of the real coffee beans.

In this restaurant, they served meals and drinks in two types: Sober and Tipsy (direct meaning I guess).

Well, we ordered mains and pasta for dinner.

We ordered pasta in cream based. One from the sober type and the other is from tipsy. From the sober is the Creamy Carbonara which is really creamy and top it with parmesan cheese. And the other one, drunken hungarian sausage and mushroom. You can taste a bit alcohol at first. But nevertheless, its delicious taste gives justice to the combination of hungarian, mushroom and cream. I loved it. You can order a huge serving for sharing.

For the mains, Spam Tempura is quite different and innovative. Spam which is wrapped. Other one is the All Time Favorite Adobo. Adobo which is dry but tasty.

Their frappe is good as well, I just don't have pictures.

Over all it offers good food and Value for money.

Spent two consecutive afternoons here to study during FalconPH typhoon. Place is cozy. Too cozy I almost fell asleep on my reviewers. I'm a big coffee drinker, but on the second afternoon, I decided to try their hot chocolate. And boy, was I so glad I did! It was so comforting, I instantly missed my mom and the probinsya, care-free life after the first sip. Really wish there were more couches tho. Great playlist as well! Made me ditch my earphones and own playlist. 😂

I loooooove their bacon milkshake. Wondering how much calories I consumed tho. 😏

I can actually spend this whole post talking about how interesting the space of Tipsy Beans is! It's almost like a collection of the most fascinating thoughts cleverly staged to enthral its diners. It's as if every corner brags a statement worthy of a second look. The selection of earth tones lazily sprawling on their walls is a creatively braniac idea giving the place a laid-back appeal that diners would want to indulge to.

Food is slightly above being okay though. I was particularly excited to try out their spam tempura but really, I wouldn't mind peeling off the breading and eat the spam alone. Their own mix of breading is kind of briny while missing some other flavors. It also lacked that crispiness that should have complimented the softness of the spam inside. It was a good attempt serving spam with a crisp crust but the execution just fell short. I like their adobo flakes which is well seasoned though I've tasted enough good tasting adobos that I don't think Tipsy Beans' achieved that signature taste for me to remember it.

We've also tried their milkshakes. My friend settled for an oreo milkshake as I gave in to my risky experimental impulse having bacon milkshake as my choice. Yup! Our favorite breakfast bud just took the 'RIGHT' turn into the world of milkshakes! I love how the bacon's controlled saltiness compliments the sweetness of milk adding extra spank to it. I bet it could have been better with a whip cream on top which unluckily wasn't available the time we ordered.

Overall, it was a great experience. It was definitely a visual treat though the foods need a bit more work. I will definitely go back to try their alcohol infused menu offerings which i had to skip due to my sceduled annual checkup the morning after. Hats off the creative minds behind the place settling for that perfect balance of fun and serenity. Whether a student or a young professional, this place is highly recommended!

PS: No need to mourn for the taking off of the Pon de Arts love locks 'coz Tipsy Beans got something of their own:)

Tipsy Beans is great. There's nothing to complain about the peaceful ambiance, soothing music, tasty snacks, and alcohol-infused drinks. My favorites are the Irish Cream on Coffee Rocks, Tipsy Frappuccino, and Milo Chupacabra. Though their fries are a tad expensive, the affordable selection of drinks makes up for it. I always make a point to frequent Tipsy Beans. It doesn't get that crowded, it's a clean place, it has great staff, and their concept is unique and refreshing. More power to Tipsy Beans!

A place that makes you sober, tipsy, awake and relaxed at the same time. This new concept located just across California Gardens is a quaint place for you and your friends.
It just so happened that I went there on their 2nd anniversary and guess what... Buy 1 take 1 on drinks! Yup, buy 1 take 1! As if that was not enough, I even got the chance to meet the owner who was super nice and very hands on.
On their menu, it was divided into 2 parts. Sober and Tipsy meaning they have your regulat coffee drinks and milkshakes while on the other side is where the bad boys come in. Coffee with alcohol from vodka to run to tequila, they got it.
I was with 3 of my friends so we got 4 drinks total. I had the BACON (yup, you read that right) milkshake which was good but could use more milk and flavor outside the bacon bits that were blended and on top of the whipped cream. I was also able to try Milo
Godzila which is similar to a dinosaur only with ice cream on top. That brought me back to my childhood days!
The other pair of drinks we got was the oreo frappe which was a blend of espresso and oreo to it. Quite good if you ask me. Last drink was the Milo Chupacabra. Milo drink with Tequila! It reminded me of Baileys only better. It became stronger as the ice melted but it's all good.
Before leaving, I just had to tray their sweets as it was staring at me. The blueberry cheesecake was a little tarty but not cumbly. My ultimate favorite was the banana crunch muffin. It was just so moist with the right amount of crunch topping. Legit banana muffin. A must try! :)
They also have dishea but i was too full to indulge. I will defenitely be back for more. Happy 2 years, tipsy beans!

I recommend this place for chilling. Very cosy and nice interior design. I like the frames hanging on the walls. Not so spacious tho. But the food is awesome. Must try Adobo Flakes and Potato Nuggets. I LOVE the drinks since they offer drinks with alcohol. Must try the Milo Chupacabra! Very friendly crew but they sometimes serve slow. But over all this is an awesome place.

I love coffee. Need I say more?

I was actually surprised with the thought that coffee can be added into a meal and with alcohol.

I sound so noob saying it but its true! One fact in that is this quaint restaurant I visited recently.

Tipsy beans is a restaurant and a coffee shop rolled into one. They serve a variety of foods from rice meals to pastas and also some drinks that are good for a sober up or to get tipsy. Sounds interesting eh? I'll tell you more about it here.

Tipsy beans has a monochromatic and minimalist feel to it unlike other restaurant and coffee shops alike.

I like their wall fixtures because its simple yet eye catching. Can you guess which one is my favorite?

Actually all of them are my favorite! haha!

Here are some of the treats that I tried.

First up is a sober drink called Kopi Luwak.

From the name itself you guessed it! Its from another south east asian country. This kind of drink is basically alamid or coffee that was produced by fermenting the coffee beans through an indigenous animal here in the Philippines which is the musang.

Noted for its one of a kind flavor I think I know why it is considered quite expensive in some restaurants and coffee shops.

Best served with Kopi Luwak is the Delectable Sisig Triangles. This is a savory and meaty sandwich that is very filling to the stomach if you just want to have a light yet fulfilling brunch on a Sunday morning.

Next in the list is the Good Ol Chicken Pesto.

Compared to the sisig triangles this has a very mild and clean taste to it that I can't help but look for another bite of this!

Next is a Tipsy drink called Vootbeer. If you are asking why they called this a tipsy drink is mainly because this drink is mixed with an alcoholic beverage. Vootbeer is made like a rootbeer float with an added bonus - it has vodka in it!

Best served with vootbeer is their Spicy Tuna pesto. Another Pesto based creation but with a spicy kick. Its not overly spicy but a good pair with the vootbeer because it neutralized the kick of vodka from the drink.

Next in the pasta selection is the Drunken Hungarian sausage. This have a very creamy sauce that is too good to be true. With some slices of Hungarian this is really nice to eat with your friends.

Next up in the sober drink selection is the Frozen hot chocolate. This drink is not overly sweet so its great for both kids and the young at heart.

A great combination with this is the all time favorite adobo which has a very different plating because the sauce is served in a small dish and the meat is topped with some dressing.

Its a good twist to the regular type of adobos that we eat daily.

Then we had the beer battered fillet which has of course beer in it. I didn't really tasted the beer in the dish but it has a very chewy and soft texture that can be good if you want to chew really well on your food.

We still have some more treats but we are near the end. Next is another tipsy drink which is Irish Cream on coffee rocks.

The special thing about this drink is the longer you make the coffee cubes melt the better the taste of the drink is. And also this is a signature Tipsy Beans drink that is great for a hot day or if you are feeling stressed and you want to feel good.

You can pair the Irish cream on coffee rocks with their sides of Potato nuggets and potato wedges with cheese and garlic dip.

If you are wondering about the prizes they are relatively affordable which 200php can suffice the hungry person with a meal and also a tipsy drink.

I would really recommend this because number one they are the first of its kind to mix a coffee shop with a restaurant that serves food and drinks that has some coffee and alcohol in it.

For those who reside near Mandaluyong and Ortigas, this place a should definitely be a stop. The bacon milkshake and irish cream on coffee rocks shouldn't be missed. The thing is if you try to pass by around 7pm to 10pm the place would be crowded. Chatting with officemates & friends is a way for this place, but not when reading a book over a good drink.

Tipsy Beans is a cozy and warm place to unwind and chat away with  friends.  It satisfies your craving for unusual food fix as they serve food incorporated with liquor.  You'll never go wrong with Spicy Tuna Pesto  and its signature sandwich, the Delectable Sisig Triangles.

Moreso, they offer cold drink concoctions with just enough booze or beer to loosen tongues and animate conversations. Try out Irish Cream on Coffee Rocks and the Voot Beer!

Ambience and good food at affordable prices is what draws me to this place. Sober or tipsy, food / beverage is served piping hot / iced cold (depends on what you ordered).

Choose any of the potato appetizers to munch on.

I love their Delectable Sisig Triangles. Who would have thought that sisig + garlic sauce would taste good with bread?

For tipsy drinks, go for Vootbeer Float or their best seller Irish Cream on Coffee Rocks. Make sure to let the coffee ice cubes to melt for a more potent drink. For sober ones, frozen hot chocolate is the way to go. The cafe also offers kopi luwak or civet coffee.

WiFi is free. You can buy a padlock for their wall railing.

Tipsy Beans is located on the second floor. The building is across California Garden Square.

Tipsy Beans has good ambiance, great service and food and drinks that are matched with affordable prices. To top it all off, they offer free wi-fi which is always a bonus for those of us who work on the Internet. So what more could I ask for? The only con is that I don’t live very close, but I’m willing to go out of my way sometimes to get their delicious coffee. :) Try it and you’ll love it.

With all interesting names on the menu, choosing was hard. We ultimately asked for house recommendations and gravitated first toward the Cheese Steak Bomb (PHp 95). The name promises a bomb of cheese steak, and I expected it to be so. The portion did not turn out to be substantial, and it didn’t seem like “the bomb.” Despite that, I thought the sandwich tasted nice. Potato chips on the side somewhat single-handedly transported this dish to a happy place.

Next, we had the Spicy Tuna Pesto (PHp 128) which was spiked with pesto herbs, tuna and crushed nuts. The spice did not sing the high notes I had hoped for. The pesto flavor dominated and registered loud and clear. Accompanied with garlic bread, this depth of this pasta dish took a turn for the better. The strands of pasta have been handled with care; they were not too starchy but dense and quite toothsome. Each forkful, with a few spins, gathered a winning bite.

Have you ever tried putting sisig as bread pan’s filling? These Delectable Sisig Triangles (PHp 75) were pleasingly subtle, allowing the real taste of sisig take center stage. I think it’s an exceedingly comforting merienda to have, especially if you’re fond of Filipino food. The crusty bread sopped up the taste just fine as well.

Tipsy Bean’s Bacon Milkshake (PHp 95) is a stunner that may just be always worth your perusal. Imagine bacon and milk mixed together – so unique. You get to taste a smoky flavor of real bacon bits in a milkshake! According to the owner, the bacon bits are pan-fried on their stone-coated frying pan fresh before adding to the milkshake. How cool is that? :)

We resorted to choosing two coffee-based drinks. One is the sober variant: Oreo Frappuccino (PHp 95). The topping of frappe loses its lusciousness after awhile, as the whipped cream tends to melt down to the table (a bit messy). For that reason, you want to drink it fast. On the other hand, you can still savor the flavor. File this dilemma under “Good Problems to Have.” This drink is beautifully composed with a mini Oreo on top, and the rest of the drink has both coffee and chocolate flavors in tango.

For the tipsy variant, we chose Irish Cream on Coffee Rocks (PHp 80). It tasted most like Bailey’s Irish Coffee, but this alcoholic concoction was made with whisky. I assure you, this stuff is inherently delightful; it can please everyone. If you have a sweet tooth, waiting for the coffee rocks to be merged with the smooth cream flavor would be a good idea as sweetness becomes more intense. How the mixture of dairy and alcohol happen to be silky remains a puzzle to me.
