Got this for 169 pesos! Used the booky app for the BOGO promo. Unexpectedly good, lalo na pag bagong serve. Sobrang malasa rin yung sauce, goes perfectly with the quesadilla. Hindi nakakaumay 💯
Best chicken in town. Wish they had a whole chicken available cause my family would definitely buy!
So i was browsing the food hall at sm megamall and I remembered a mexican fastfood which is mexicali. I had one of their burritos before and since then, never liked it. Then I stumbled upon tex-mex and wondered "should i give burrito a second chance?" luckily I did, tex-mex did sure delivered that burrito taste that somehow hugged my palate with open arms. I loved it, surprisingly yes I loved it. Well packed with it's fresh ingredients, not too sour nor salty - it is just right. Chicken were tender and the mexican rice is oh so amazingly delish. Squeeze a lil lime on top and put a small amount of their white sauce(sour cream?) and you be flying to eldorado on this one. Yes, I am exaggerating, its just so good.
I don't understand how this place has such low ratings. May not be the tastiest but for the price you are paying you're getting a whole lot more than others. Picture this: You'll be happier if you spend your money here than Ch*l*'s.
One of my favorite food court foodie stations. Their Taco is tasty colorful, Chicken is crispy and juicy. It’s a bit hassle because of the food court setup so don’t expect superb service. However, my wife and I are ok with that.

I tried their tortilla soup but it should be a little spicier than sweet, and hopefully they will add more corn and tomatoes that make it more hearty and with more content.
Visited here after sometime. Their chicken is fantastic and they had corn with the meal which is satisfying since the meal made me full even before I had finished. There is just something too weird and leafy with the sauce. Fries are our go-to snack in addition to our meal or dinner. Goes great with the dip!!!
I liked it. Crispy fries and the dip was good. Nachos was okay and the pepper add some zing to it. Although I think it lacked some more ground beef and I would have given it a five if it did. But hey, you get what you paid for. Overall it was fine.
Ordered Pasta Mexicana to pair with our buffalo wings from the adjacent stall and we were not disappointed. Pasta was al dente, flavors were great, service time was fast, serving size was not bad.
I always go back to Tex-Mex because they have my all time favorite foos, which is oven baked beef quesadilla, onion rings, tex mex taco bbq fries and cucumber limonela it never failed to satisfy my cravings and my wallet because its worth the money.
Thumbs up to Tex-Mex, i wish they have their own place and not in food court.
Sm Megamall Food Hall
Super yum ng spicy pasta and the flavored fries. A little disappointed sa quesadilla. Parang eden cheese lang. Da best pa din ang quesadilla ng Taco Bell.
Price: 8/10
Food: 7/10
This is my second time dining here and this time we ordered their mex pollo and the burger with fries.
Their burger was okay but what I like the most is their fries, very savory and the ranch complemented it very well.
Their mex pollo on the other hand was so bland, the rice tasted burnt. I just can't taste it very well so I thought it lacked flavour. The only thing that was okay is the corn cob which I quite enjoyed.
I'll defintiely go back to try their other stuff ( I tried their tacos last time, it was pretty spicy but good.) but never gunna order the mex pollo again.
Only tried the Cucumber Lemonade because I had ordered food from another place. It was so refreshing and addicting. No wonder it's a best seller.
Next time I'll try their food too.
Fantastic grilled chicken! Set meal (Pollo) comes with a quarter, grilled chicken, rice, salsa and corn on cob. Their chicken is rich in flavor and slightly burnt to crisp. The corn on cob has been rubbed with salt and pepper and then grilled. Mexican and rice compliments well with the chicken. The best part is, it's cheap for the serving size.Had the cucumber lemonade as well and it was refreshing. You can really taste the cucumber.
I am highly recommending this place and will definitely be coming back.
Got to try their Mex - Pollo. A set of grilled chicken, mexican rice, salsa and corn. It was pretty good for P199. I also ordered their cucumber drink. Super refreshing!
After having lunch at Burgers & Brewskies and dessert at Larcy’s Cupcakery Café, we decided to go to Megamall to continue pestering each other (in. the most loveable way possible). And since we like to chit chat while munching,. we headed to Mega Food Hall for some snacks. K and I went straight to Sweetea by Da.u.de while some went for nachos.
it's located at megamall fashion hall food court and the line iin here is not as long as frankies so its a good starter message for all y'all impatients foodies. PLUS their serving wasn't that 'tinipid'
we only tried their "nachos mex grande" appetizer. I ain't much of a food pro nor a food analyst but to describe it the best way i can, you'll definitely experience that distinct mexican flavor. One perfect description of it is that it was bursting in flavors (where the dominant tastes were of course the cheese, the tomatoes, and the jalapenos).
It's not that bad but i guess i'm more of the beefy guy than the veggie guy. i'd prefer nacho king rather than this. but if you are up for some authentic nacho mi amigos this one is for you :)
Affordable, big serving, great taste.
Burger lovers will love this burger.
The melting cheese on top of an inch thick patty is just pure heaven.
Located at the 5F Food Hall in Mega Fashion Hall. (HALL HALL HALL hehehe)
We ordered Fries and Cheese Quesadilla.
The fries is crunchy, flavourful with a hint of hotness. Hands down, 5 out of 5.
The Cheese Quesadilla is ofcourse, Cheesie which should excite a cheese lover like me but for some reasons I can't pinpoint, something is missing here.. The dip also doesn't complement the quesadilla but over all it is good.
Had their Burger Grande with nachos... Like their hearty combination of fillings, but not the buns which is on the sweet side. Overall, it's a filling lunch.
Nachos and it was actually good, great portions and doesn't skimp with the ingredients. I asked the server to add more cheese sauce and sour cream and they obliged happily.
Chili Bomb is SPICY. I believe myself to have a high tolerance for spicy food, but this, this I can't eat more than one. I just hope they add meat inside to help with the spiciness.
One of the best fries i have tasted. it has a unique balanced blend of sweet , spicy , and saltyness. And once you add the (what i think is balsamic mayo) mayo youll have a creamy texture that makes it like that flavors are bursting on your mouth. I only gave it a 4 because last time i ordered the fries , i think what they gave me was an old stock that nears the end of its holding time in the store. This picture is taken from my 2nd time ordering the fries. Aside from their fries their beef fajitas is also a must try
I always passed on Tex-Mex because I love Nav and Frankies, but it turns out that it it's actually good. It's not the most authentic Mexican food out there, but the food is fresh and the serving sizes are large enough to fill you up. Their Oven Baked Burrito is good and flavorful, but the beef pieces inside are scarce. Their Chicken Quesadilla is cheesy and the sauce works really well, but the flavor is monotonous and probably better for sharing. Their mint lemonade was okay for 55 pesos.
Overall, I still prefer Nav, but I might try their burger next time.
I love hanging out with people who love to eat. It means that they are game to pig out and try different restaurants. My college friends are just like that and when we met a few weeks back, we were able to visit three different establishments! (Well, four for K and I.)
After having lunch at Burgers & Brewskies and dessert at Larcy’s Cupcakery Café, we decided to go to Megamall to continue pestering each other (in the most loveable way possible). And since we like to chit chat while munching, we headed to Mega Food Hall for some snacks.
K and I went straight to Sweetea by Da.u.de and she got Starburst (PHP160 for medium | PHP170 for large) while I got Green Passion (PHP120 for medium | PHP130 for large). Since there’s a wait time of 6 to 8 minutes, we checked out Tex-Mex after seeing a couple enjoying a plate of nachos.
First time in the Mega Food Hall and decided to try this. I ordered grilled chicken fajitas and I must say that this is quite a big serving and I am happy with the size of it. It was served with 2 pieces of tortilla, a skillet of grilled chicken witbspices and belle peppers and a side of salsa and sauce. From what I understand, this could be eaten like a soft taco...where you scoop the meat from the skillet and to the tortilla. However, it was quite oily that my tortilla ended up being broken into peices. The flavor on the chicken was yummy however it was really salty.

Awesome Tex-Mex resto literally the food is very good. My hubby's favorite fast food Tex-mex resto. We always order the chicken fajitas and one order is good for sharing
As we were choosing what food to try at the Mega Food hall, I suddenly crave for burrito, so I decided to order at Tex-Mex. I've tried their nachos, burrito, and lemonade. It tasted very good, although there's nothing really special about the menu. It was flavorful as well, authentic taste. The servings were big enough as well. Recommended if you want to have a heavy meal.
This is the first time I ate here, and I must say they serve big portions. My friend ordered burritos, which I unfortunately forgot to take a picture. The Mex Pollo I ordered will get you full in no time, even when you're hungry. Food is a bit pricy, but I think is reasonable.
This restaurant has a good catchy design at the mega food hall. Aside from that, they serve really good mediterranean food. I ordered Mex Pollo (199) compossed of rice, quarter chicken and a quarter corn cob. When you eat the chicken together with rice, there are a variety of flavors coming from the spices. It's really flavorful. I ordered texmex limonela (49) for my drink. It was blande and lacks true lemon flavor. Even though the drink did not satisfy me, the food serving was generous. I'm gonna come back to give a try for their burger and nachos.
I love the design they have in the Mega Food Hall. Its hip and catchy. The look is probably one of the most essential things when getting them to order from you. Well there are 10 of you in one area.
Their store ambiance reflects as well on their food. We got the Oven Baked Beef Burrito and Tacos. Both were delicioso! The meat in both were soft, tasty and tender. It gets more awesome when combined with the rest. You gotta find time to go here and try yourself.
While Japanese and Korean cuisine are becoming a trend in the Philippines, one should not take forgranted Mexican food's uniqueness. Tex-Mex is a new kid on the block but they won't disappoint your tastebuds. Located at 5/F of Megamall's Mega Food Hall, Tex-Mex will surely satisfy your craving for Mexican food. We tried their burritos, chicken quesadillas, fries and Grande Burger with Nachos. I think Freedom Fries of Army Navy has its rival now with that of Tex-Mex's. It's thicker than Freedom Fries and a bit spicier. Anyway, I still LOVE both! Burrito also tastes good but it has less beef than I expected. Their Chicken Quesadilla has its own 'kick'. You really don't need salsa to go with it because it has this cheese (which I don't know what kind of cheese it is) that brings a certain taste to it. It's a bit creamy but too much of it can bring you 'umay'. You can't also go wrong with their Grande Burger with Nachos. Beef is juicy but the nachos, even if it is colored, look plain with just the cheese as topping. But still, Tex-Mex is a must-try! Will surely be back to try other food on their menu. 😊👍
A decent addition to the Mega Fashion Hall food court, but I hope they can try harder to delight the customer.
We ordered a chicken quesadilla and a chicken burrito. They both tasted all right but there was just too little chicken filling in mine.
Pretty packaging and inviting-looking stall promise more than they currently deliver.
I tried their Mex-Pollo and I was quite amazed on how it almost tasted like my favorite roast chicken in El Pollo Loco. For only 199Php with huge amount of servings and heavenly food, I must say this one's a good catch.
Tried there burger, it was okay. The patty was juicy. They had all sorts of veghies and the cheese is okay. I wish they had it set up to a bigger bread though. Tummy filler, I must say.
If you're a fan of mexican foods this is one place you should try! Super love their mouth watering tacos. They have the tastiest and juiciest beef and you can also choose cheese sauce or hot sauce to go with it. Love it!
My best friend and I tried their Mex Pollo and quesadilla. They quite taste delicious considering the stall is situated in the sort of fast food area of SM Megamall. If you are not that hungry, you may only order one Mex Pollo since it can be good for two already.

Good but Señor Pollo is still my choice. 🙊 Love that they have corn on the side. Their chimichuri is kinda good also. I'll try their nachos next time which looks very appetizing!
My first time to try tex-mex cuisine in this place and thankfully gave me good first impressions. Ordered basics like nachos, fajitas and burgers, all very yummy! All their beef was seasoned well and I loved the little mayo/salsa on the side to compliment the dishes.
I ordered the Mex Pollo, which looked good in the picture. I was not disappointed with the presentation and taste considering it's categorized as a "fast food". The chicken tasted amazing (both meat and skin) but the chimichurri sauce was a bit underwhelming.
I was craving for burrito so we tried this. The food is good but if you're really hungry this is not the place for you because their serving is too small for the price.
But i commend the salsa and the pink lemonade.
Loved the fries and burger. Burger patty was thick and juicy and came with crispy bacon. Fries was crispy and full of flavor. Better and cheaper than other burger places 👍
Grilled chicken fajita was super good!!! Just the right seasoning, hefty portions but bitin on the tortillas. Loved their cucumber lemonade too.

-oven baked beef burrito - not good
-chicken taco salad - generous serving, tasty, a bit spicy
That white sauce though is too sweet for my liking.
