Good food and service! One of my fave restaurant.
Good place for comfort food! We had an excellent Fried Truffle Cheese Wontons - yummy cheese-filled wontons drizzled with honey and truffle oil. Got a couple of Big Plates to share among us. Tomato & Basil Pasta was good. Spaghettini with cherry tomatoes, fresh basil, parmesan and olive oil. Nono's Homestyle Fried Chicken was ok - crisply fried boneless chicken with gravy and honey served with corn on the cob, dinner rolls and fries
Had our Dinner here last night (1/19/20) With my Elementary and High School Friends The Pschedelic Crew❤ We enjoyed everything from their Sumptuous Food, Cozy Ambiance down to Nono's Courteous Accomodating and Joyful Staff just like Me😊😊😊 A Homey FEEL indeed❤ I will see you again SOON!😁 (Special Mention to Rien, Yure, Karen, Judy Ann and Their Manager😊 Keep it Up guys! BIG SMILE!😁
Recommended Dishes: Fried Truffle Cheese Wontons (P185: THIS IS A MUST-TRY!!!), Oriental Shrimp Salad (P395). I also tried their Steak and Mashed Potatoes, and Pesto Cream with Grilled Chicken. Awesome comfort food with great ambiance. Will surely return to try their other dishes and pastries! Food: 4/5 | Value for Money:4/5 | Ambiance:5/5
Smol Girl gives a yes yes for Nono's!! ❤️🍗
Their Chicken and Waffles is one of the best we’ve tried! The flavors, especially the honey sriracha, works well with the waffles. 😍
The combo gives an amazing feast of textures coming from the crispiness of the chicken and the flaky, but chewy waffles. 👏
The Truffle Cream Pasta is heavenly! You get a fill of the truffle from the smell down to the taste! Smol Girl can easily finish 2 servings. Or more. 🐷🍝
And the dessert? Now we know why the Chocolate Oblivion from the Classic Confections by Nono’s was listed as one of the best chocolate cakes in the metro. Moist, not overwhelmingly sweet (but really chocolate-y), and has very good texture! Kinda reminds us of Ferrero! A must-try! 🍰🍫
So, is Nono’s worth revisiting? Yes! Yes! Again and again!
Bought the strawberry shortcake for a birthday and everyone loved it. Truffle cheese wontons were okay.
I really like the truffle cheese wontons and the grilled cheese panini with sour cream dip. Both appetizers are really good. I like how the crispy ouside but cheesy and creamy inside of the wonton. The panini is also good especially if you eat it with the sour cream dip. I think they used 2-3 types of cheese in there. Now the mains did not disappoint too. The chicken is tasty and crispy but not greasy. Dip it in honey first and put some gravy. It's heaven! The pasta is also good but not my fave.
I had their chicken and waffles. Not the best I had but they sure have the unique honey dip to make up for it. The plating was nice and lovers of social media would love it. But a decent plate which could hold the sauces in place will be more appropriate.
I am obsessed with Nono’s! Ate here twice in a week because I kept craving for it. You MUST try their waffles. The consistency is different! My sister and I had a wonderful stay. ❤️
What I love about Nono’s is that you get exactly what you pay for. In terms of ambiance, quality of food and friendliness of staff, it’s all super worth it.
Prices are above average but the assurance of good food will always pay its price.
I’ve only eaten here twice but the service is efficient everytime. Water glasses are always refilled withot asking for it and the arrival of food is quick as well.
Best grilled porkchops and fried truffle cheese wontons ever 😍 we had our team dinner here at Nono's, well all of the foods that we ordered were great except for the fried chicken which has nothing special. Staff were fast and accomodating. 👍
Very brunching tita vibes here at Nono’s. Food choices remind me of Kettle and Mama Lou’s. Mac and Cheese was great, love how it was creamy. For the fried chicken, ayos naman. Not too bad, but not too wow either. But generous servings so it’s a yes for me. If may maaalala talaga ako here, it’s the truffle cheese dumpling. Super good pero bitin.
Ordered the grilled cheese panini, homestyle fried chicken and tomato basil pasta. All of our orders tasted great. The chicken had a tad bit of extra breading for my liking but the honey and gravy combo surprisingly worked. Btw, the service was great!
I keep coming back for their CHOCOLATE OBLIVION! Right amount of sweetness. Try also their Balsamic adobo. They have many choices if you are on a diet but please make room for dessert!
My friends and I came over to Nono's for some catching up and college chika. While they had Nono's Homestyle Chicken, fried to a juicy and crunchy perfection with honey and gravy as the best complement to the spices, I had baked sole. Nono's was an absolute religious experience and it's one that I would go back to again and again.
What we had: Nono's Homestyle Chicken, Parmesan Crusted Sole with Tomato & Basil Spaghettini

This is my 2nd visit to Nono’s Podium. The first one was back in November 2017 when they had just opened this branch and if I had reviewed it then, I would probably have given a low rating (because the temperature in the restaurant was warm, there were looots of flies around, the bread that came with the kesong puti was a bit too tostado etc). But it’s nice to see that they have overcome all those birthpains (well, it has been a year and half! LOL).
I still remember what we had during our first visit and we enjoyed the food: for appetizers, the Truffle Cheese Wontons were a hit as well as the Fried Kesong Puti if only, as I mentioned, the breads were not almost burnt-like and for the mains, between the 2 we ordered - beef steak and pork belly balsamic adobo, we enjoyed the latter so so much.
On my recent visit with friends, I tried all new things except for 1 staple: the Truffle Cheese Wontons are a must-order! The Fried Chicken Big Plate was a good sharing main, nothing special or unique about it but it was a platter full of good comfort food i.e. fried chicken with gravy & honey, fries, bread rolls, and corn. The Nono’s salad I didn’t enjoy that much because I was expecting it to be as good as Cyma’s Roka Salata and Mamou’s Healdsburg’s Harvest but it wasn’t, needs more candied nuts in my opinion. The dish I was glad to have discovered on this 2nd visit was the Grilled Cheese Paninis served with their homemade sour cream and onion dip which had a wonderful cream cheese like consistency which made it spreadable. And since we had honey from the fried chicken dish, I also drizzled some honey with every bite and it was the perfect complement.
Nono’s is really a place for comfort food and don’t leave without having dessert. The best seller is the Chocolate Oblivion and though I get why people love it, I prefer the Banana Cream Pie more - love its crunchy cashew nut crust. Their Strawberry Shortcake is good too as well as the Pecan Pie (original) and back in November 2017, I tried a limited edition cake which was called Yema Sansrival and I liked it - hope they bring it back.
P.S. Although I didn’t use the restroom so I don’t know its state, it’s nice to know they have one inside the restaurant so you don’t need to go out to use the mall’s public restroom in the middle of your meal.
I haven’t written any reviews in a while but my friends were so glad we dined in this place that inspired me to write one again.
Nono’s is one of those places you’d instantly feel like you’re at home or better, your grandma’s place where you would be served anything delicious and anything you please. All the food we had from salad to dessert were delightful.
Their crew were polite and accommodating too which is always important to me when going places.
I am giving them 4 stars now because we are planning to go back. Most restaurants fail me at second try so I am gonna make sure this will not be one of them. So I will definitely come back to try again. :)
We ordered Roasted Beef Belly, Chorizo and Shrimp Penne (my food and it’s good! 👍🏻👌🏻), Parmesan Crusted Sole with Tomato and Basil Spaghettini and Strawberry Shortcake for dessert. Lahat masarap! 😀 Waitstaff is customer-friendly, too. Ambiance is nice.
Date of visit: Feb. 1, 2019, 12:15 PM
Cookie skillet ala mode and strawberrry shortcake 😄 good place to get delicious dessert for a late night hangout with friends. Must visit again soon here
The ambience is really nice and family friendly. I like the country vibe of the place. The cheese wontons are delicious and worth every peso! Baked macaroni was also creamy and cheesy. Chicken and Shrimp marinara was tasty. The chicken however was a bit dry. Overall it’s a nice place to have Sunday lunch or dinner with family. :)
It's my 2nd time eating here and it was the same great experience as the first one.
Service - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Food - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
They were able to serve our food fast w/o compromising quality. Food tasted superb. Price isn't bad as well. Can't wait to go back here at Nono's. ❤
This restaurant has very homey and welcoming vibe. They have plenty of options for meals even desserts.
We tried their Fried Truffle Cheese Wanton. I love the Mozzarella and Cheddar Cheese stuffed inside wantons, drizzled with honey and truffle oil. I can finish the entire plate. The Roasted Beef Belly are served on a bed of Mashed Potatoes, and a side of Horseradish Cream. Grilled Pork Chop topped with herb butter and lemon is a must try. Both beef belly and pork are tender and tasty. For the pasta we tried Pesto Cream with Grilled Chicken. Their dishes are generally good. Portions are actually big enough for two. Worth the price.
Staffs are really friendly. I would definitely go back to try their cakes.
I was intrigued with this restaurant including its name. For the few times I passed by lunch, the place was full. So I was glad to had the chancr to finally try their food but during dinner. We had onion soup, salad and fried chicken. We liked them all except that it took awhile to get our orders.
The highlight of our visit was the food, which was delicious. We ordered the French onion soup, fried kesong puti with candied walnuts, fried chicken sliders and the cheese dumplings. Nothing was disappointing! The humble cheese dumpling was the winning dish, hiding behind its simple name a surprising combination of flavours. The decor is not bad, the chairs and tables could be better given its not a cheap joint. Overall, the experience was good and we definitely see ourselves visiting again.
Super late post.
Birthday evening salubong, after dining at Paradise Dynasty. My friend treated me for desserts and coffee at Nono which was the same side of Paradise Dynasty. I enjoyed their cakes most especially their chocolate cake. Couldn’t remember the names of the cakes they ordered. 😅
We ordered the roasted squash soup, ceasar salad and the nono's homestyle fried chicken that's good for sharing. Everything was scrumptious specially the chicken. Will definitely come back.
My son's favorite. He told me they have the best fried chicken in the world. He's picky but he enjoyed the combination of the sweet honey, peppery gravy over the crispy fried chicken.
I however enjoy their cheese wontons.
Spontaneous lunch with my dear friend, Aideen. We wanted to try Nono’s. We love the interiors and their menu is interesting. Its simple and feels like home.
We arrived at exactly 12 noon. And we are seated as soon as we enter. We had:
😊French Onion Soup (P225) slow cooked caramelized onions infused in a broth topped with sourdough with melted parmesan and mozzarella. Served hot! Its as good as the one I used to have in other resto. Though this one can’t be splitted into two, so we have to do it for ourselves. My friend enjoyed it, its her first time to try this soup.
😊Tomato & Basil Pasta , spaghettini in organic cherry tomatoes, basil, parmesan cheese in olive oil. We orderd the big plate good for 2-3 pax (P475). This one is good! I can say there’s nothing spectacular but I just love the simple ingredients in it and love the taste. Yeah we finished this😊
Verdict: place is quite pricey for lunch. And ideally good for 2 or more. They got other good dishes which I love to try in my next visit. Service is good also.
I love the ambiance of Nono’s! We were only able to order a cup of Hot Chocolate, Cafe Latte, and a slice of Calamansi Cheesecake since we just ate from another resto. The drinks were served with tiny sugar cookies which we really found so cute! I enjoyed my latte, love the latte art, and it was creamy and strong! The hot choco was nice too! Their version of Calamansi Cheesecake was amazing! They got the perfect balance of sweet and tangy flavor! We’ll be back soon to order their meals!
My personal favorite from Nono’s is the Truffle cheese dumpling appetizer. Brilliant idea for an appetizer. Also love the Fried Chicken and Waffles. I love how the servers tell you how to maximize the enjoyment of the food. Fantastic place. Would highly recommend.
I’ve been hearing really good things about their Chocolate cake so I decided to take one out and bring it to Paradise Dynasty. It had just the right sweetness. It wasn’t the best, but I was still impressed.
Came here for late lunch with my boyfriend while waiting for my parents.
Beef steak was yummy and the beef was tender and tasty. It was served over hot rice, with onion rings and a half slice of grilled tomato. Serving was decent, depending on the level of your hunger. In our case, we still felt full from breakfast so we just shared the food and didn’t feel “bitin”.
For the truffle cheese wonton it says on the menu that it has mozzarella and cheddar cheese but what I saw and tasted was I think mostly cheddar. It was too salty for me. Good thing the candied walnuts, truffle oil and honey kind of balanced the taste.
Blueberry lemonade shake was good but for me it tasted more “lemony”.
Would love to try their pastas next time.
Wonderful Rating: 😋😋 Nono’s homestyle fried chicken is about as comforting as comfort food gets!
Witness Insider: The fried chicken is best eaten with gravy and honey.
#witnesswonderful #friedchicken #comfortfood
I'm rating this 5 stars because my son loves their fried chicken and he's a picky eater! He only eats delicious food! So we visit this restaurant whenever we're in the area
This is such a cute tita place! The food's not bad too and good for sharing. I really liked the truffle wanton as well as the fried chicken platter. I'm not really a dessert person but the cookie skillet's not bad! The pesto's quite bland. On another visit, we ordered the fresh tomato pasta which I liked more than their pesto pasta. Service is good too! I'd recommend this place for meetings and get-togethers.
This place is very attractive. We were walking around Podium and I saw this from afar and was instantly drawn to it. Checked the menu and the selection looked yummy so we decided to give it a try.
We ordered tapa and longganisa.
Servings were okay. Loved the way the eggs were cooked and my tapa was really delicious.
Fair priced meal with a very cute, relaxing environment.
Wanna try again the branch in Makati near our workplace😀
Eggs Ben is good 👌👌👌. Coffee is ok except that the big round cups make coffee cold faster than usual. Will come back to try the sweeties.
My sister and I saw Nono’s in Podium and we decided to try it out. We ordered Nono’s Fried Chicken as the server said it was a bestseller and it was already good for two. Looks value for money at Php560 (relative to other items on the menu) so we got it.
The portion of the chicken was huge, and it was served with fries, corn on a cob, and bread on the side. The chicken came with honey and gravy as its sauce, which was quite a fascinating combination. We also had the corn shredded.
Overall, service was okay, although it bothered us that they asked for our name (in an unnatural way) which made it quite awkward. Taking one star off for that one. Otherwise, the staff are very friendly and accommodating.
Really, really good! Enjoyed everything we ordered. The serving size is a lot too. Affordable and good for special occasions.
The service was friendly and quick.
Comfort food shall I say but good food! The quesong puti blends well in the pandesal with balsamic vinegar. The truffle cream pasta is something you should try if your going to visit this branch. The beef belly is so soft it melts in my mouth on the first bite! If your in Ortigas Center, you should try this restaurant. Staffs are friendly as well.

I was invited to Nono's by Classic Confections a few months back, when they opened their first branch at U.P. Town Center. Unfortunately, since I rarely frequent Quezon City, I as unable to visit them. Thankfully though, the opening of the newly renovated Podium Mall has helped create room for more restaurant establishments, paving the way for Nono's to find another home in Ortigas!
(12.11.17)
When I last visited the renovated Podium, there’s this one restaurant that caught my attention. It was still on its soft opening back then so I waited a little more until they already served their mains. What caught my attention was homey interiors and relaxing ambiance. Little did I know that this was their second branch already! They opened their first at UP Town Center. Nonetheless, I was still looking forward to the day when I’ll be able to dine in this place. And yes! That time came last December 2017! Hehe!
AMBIANCE (5/5)
As I’ve said, I was already attracted to this restaurant’s interiors. As you enter the place, you would already be welcomed by their waiter waiting by the door to accommodate you. Then you’ll be able to smell and see their stylishly made and deliciously tasting pastries on the right. They have tables outside but I prefer the couches and seats inside especially the one near the glass window where you’ll have a fascinating view of the outside. I liked how this place gave me the feeling of elegance and comfort at the same time. The people inside were also decent and classy. There wasn’t much noise during my visit. I’d say this place is perfect for family and friends gathering but it could also be a venue for a chill and comfortable date. Hehe!
SERVICE (5/5)
Everyone here was accommodating! The waiter whom I contacted for our reservation was kind and friendly. Our waiter got our orders, served our food, and took our picture willingly and with a smiling face. Waiting time wasn’t that long also. We were given recommendations and our questions were answered well.
FOOD (5/5)
My girlfriend and I were quite excited and hungry when we came here so we ordered 3 meals. We actually wanted to have dessert but sadly, we were already so full after hence we just plan on coming back someday soon! Haha! We started off with Caesar Salad (P275) and the Farmer’s Corn Chowder Soup (P225). I expected the sale to be just right for one serving but to our surprise, their serving size was generous. I’m guessing it’s good for 2-4 persons depending on their capacity. We also shared the Corn Chowder because it would be too heavy if only one of us ate it. Gotta say I loved the Caesar salad! I’m not really a fan of veggies but this one was good! The greens were fresh, the bacon bits and croutons were crispy, and the Parmesan flakes were the perfect finishing touch for that awesome flavor! 👌🏻 The soup was good especially with the quail egg but it wasn’t as outstanding as the former. As for our main dish, I followed what the reviews here stated and what our waiter said as their best seller, we ordered the Nono’s Homestyle Fried Chicken Big Plate (P565)! Big plate means it’s good for 2-3 persons but believe me you, my girlfriend and I devoured everything! Hahaha! Mind you, their serving was huge! Just check the picture. Haha! I fell in love with the crispy chicken and the bread! Hehe! I prefer mixing both the gravy and the honey! It also came with 3 corn cobs and a cone of fries. Everything was good! Wasn’t disappointed. I’d say everything was worth the money!
THE VERDICT (5/5)
A perfect 5/5 for this amazing place! The only sad part was that we weren’t able to try any of their desserts! Huhu! I just recently heard and researched that all their pastries are done by Classic Confections! Due to my cravings, I ordered one whole Nono’s Chocolate Oblivion (P1395) during a birthday of someone I know. It’s pricey yes but the taste, the flavor, and the texture were excellent! I highly recommend anyone to try it! It was very impressive and fulfilling at the same time! It was finished in no time! Haha! Going back, I absolutely enjoyed our date here at Nono’s Podium! Looking forward to coming back for more! Hehe! Cheers! 😊
I’ve been eyeing Nono’s for quite some time, but I never got to actually trying it because I wasn’t sure what cuisine they served. As it turns out, I was missing out on a menu full of classic comfort food. That got me all excited! Nono’s serves the kinds of food one would usually crave for after a long tiring day when you just want to drop everything and eat or when you just want something that would remind you of mom’s hearty meals. It’s even a great place to meet up with friends because who doesn’t love comfort food?
Dined here twice. One during dinner, one during lunch. We opt to be seated outside during peak hours because we can barely hear each other inside. Both visits i tried their pastas
-Pesto Cream with Grilled Chicken : needed a little bit more saltiness for me
-Truffle Cream : truffle taste is just right, not too overwhelming but it is too creamy
-Tomato and Basil : best one for me. Grilled cherry tomatoes, fresh basil and a little bit of garlic in olive oil with al dente pasta. Very light but flavorful.
Also tried their signature chocolate cake. It was good but not exceptional for me.
The food was ok. The service was ok too. I guess there were a couple of hits and miss on our order.
We ordered the grilled cheese which was really really good in my opinion. We also got the kesong puti which was also good but the bread was super tigas so sayang. We had the adobo which for me was maasim so not a big fan. The pork chop though was cooked perfectly and the mashed potato was super yummy :) the chicken was so-so and the pesto pasta was not a favorite.
Will be back for the porkchop though 💕
My reviews are based on my own experiences therefore; they are facts
Yes Yes to Nono's!
Next halloween, I will be a cheese wonton. Why?
Because cheese wontons are ghosts... They haunt my taste buds for real!!
We dined here because next door was so disappointing.
The restaurant has a great ambiance, as if you are inside a coloring book. That's what I felt.
We had grilled cheese, cheese wontons (yes, all cheese) and a very refreshing lemonade.
When the server walked past our table with the fried chicken, I died.
The crew are very attentive, they welcomed back my partner. That is a plus.
They are nice and willing to serve you.
I cannot wait to go back and try their fried chicken. So maybe,my ratings will change.
Sorry I forgot our servers' names. But all of them are cool!
We came around 1pm and the place was packed. We decided to take the seat outside since we were planning to do a luncheon meeting.
Service is impeccable, special mention to Susan, who made sure that all of our requests were granted.
We ordered Fried truffle cheese wontons for appetizer. A big 5! It was unique in taste and appearance. For our plated, Grilled pork chop, Beef tapa, and Chorizo and Shrimp marinara. Nothing special with the porkchop except probably the presentation. The pasta was great. Their all day breakfast beef tapa was also good.
For desserts, we again asked Susan, and she recommended Sylvia's strawberry shortcake and Nono's chocolate oblivion. We paired it with cappuccino and flat white coffee. Love their cakes!
Oh, btw, they also sell bread and some cookies. And they customize. Check out the photos.
I've been wanting to visit Nono's ever since it opened mid last year. Knowing that it got a seal of approval from a very particular friend, I was sure that it will tickle my taste buds with glee. But it was hard for me to drop by as I don't frequent U.P. Town Center. Thankfully, it opened another branch at a more convenient location last month-- Podium.
I liked their food here. It was a refreshing take on the old favorites. We ordered their truffled cheese wonton. The fragrance of the truffle oil and the taste was just right to complement the taste of the cheese. The oriental shrimp salad is also a reco if you are looking for a healthy dish. I also loved their pinoy style beef steak. The beef was so soft and tender. And it was well marinated that it was already tasty. It was also interesting that the “sauce” was served separately. But you can actually pour it over the rice to complete the experience. Ambience was ok and service was also good.
Food - 4.5
Service - 4.5
Ambience - 4.0
Owned by the Coffee Bean Group, Nono's is now open in the New Podium. Tried their chicken, not only big and crispy but tasty as well. A bit quite expensive for me but can be shared by two people. Nothing special about their lechon kawali though. The scene stealer was their fried truffle wonton which I liked the most! I would love to come back and try their other dishes.
If their rich and flavorful USDA bistek bowl paired well with the subtle and non-cloying Chocolate Oblivion for dessert are any indication, Nono's is destined as the next talk-of-the-town. Tucked in a corner at the new Podium, Nono's is now ready to serve guests with modern Filipino comfort food and classic soups, pastas and salads in their relaxed homey interior. Would definitely come back to try their other items.
The newest mall in my town is a month old today. And more establishments are opening every week. Nono’s was one of the pioneers here in Podium 2.0.
This is their second branch not counting mother company, Classic Confections in Solenad in Nuvali which I got to visit months ago.
The service here is on their feet. A dedicated wait staff visits too often to check on you. Maybe because I was the only one dining at that time.
I had Vegetable Omelette even if they don’t serve it just yet. Thank you for saying yes to my egg craving. This was a fluffy piece, well-seasoned with savory buttery bread. It also comes with yummy jam.
I also got delicious Oriental Shrimp Salad. It had crunchy shrimps coated with sweet and citrus dressing, julienned red and green cabbage, romaine lettuce and crispy noodles.
For dessert, their Strawberry Shortcake could need a boost as it was dry and lacking fruit flavor. More strawberries too please.
Nono’s does offer a lengthy list of cakes and pastries from Classic Confections here. Try their fudgy and moist Chocolate Cake!
The place has retro vibes to it and love the food. I ordered their fried chicken and it taste good! The staff are very accommodating too. 🎄🎅🏻
We had corn chowder, beef belly, porkchop and kids chicken. My son said "i like this better than Mcdonalds" and mcdonald is his fave.
You know you are eating quality food. In tagalog "maayus" which makes us happy because we get what we paid for. We had their famous chocolate cake, mango bars and date bars. I love the date bars 😍
Didnt get to take picture because we were so hungry already and every bite was happiness 😚
