The Shoyu Ramen, which could be the most basic of all ramen flavors, is so-so. I commend the service though. Besides being speedy, you wouldn’t have to ask when you need something; they offer.

Ambiance is not that good, there was an odd smell but maybe it's because we came in when it just opened that day. Nonetheless, their mushroom gyudon as well as bonito gyudon were tasty!!! worth a try, maybe visit at night?

Our go-to ramen place these days but mostly because it's the nearest. The ramens are good but nothing too remarkable. Huge servings, though. Try the yakiniku beef, it's delicious.

The food is great, maganda din ang ambiance and tahimik lang siya. If you want to have time and unwind, highly recommended. And accessible siya around Ortigas.

RBS Ramen had a lot of meat which is a plus, it also tastes good. Beef in Gyudon was tasty and you can taste the quality of meat they use. There was something wrong with their aircon during our visit so it was a bit hot considering it was also lunchtime. I guess the server could’ve been a bit warmer as well.

Try their spicy karaage ramen! But it would be best to request to have the chicken in separate plate so that it wont soak in the ramen 😂

We requested that the curry sauce be in a separate bowl, which they happily did. The curry sauce tastes really good, although i would love it more if they can have it spicier

My first time to eat Ramen is here, so my standard after eating here is very high because of their tasteful broth and stomach filling noodles. I love the flavors of their ramen. We ate here by chance because it is the only one that is open coz it's late that time. But the Ramen is great. The Rice Bowl is also delicious. I am looking forward to dine here again.

We ordered Karaage, Ebi Tempura and Bikkuri Ramen. Because of some bad feedback, my expectations aren't so high. However, I was wrong. Ramen broth was so rich and flavorful, karaage was served hot and yummy, and the tempura, amazing. Maybe they improved their food from the previous feedback. Crew are also attentive. Can't wait to go back to this "ramen bar" again.

Watching Asian dramas never fail to make me crave for ramen. Is it just me or more often than not, there will be at least one scene where the lead character will joyfully slurp down a massive mouthful of piping hot noodles straight from the copper pot in a squat position? The low EQ foodie in me always make me want to grab a pack of noodles myself. But there are times when I want something better than instant noodles and that's when I brave Manila traffic for some good ol' made with love ramen. And this time, I went with Ramen Bar.

Ramen has been a favorite noodle soup by Filipinos. But if we are talking about "sulit" experience, which ramen place do you have in mind?. Ramen Bar is one of the tenure Japanese restaurants in Metro Manila that serves mainly ramen and other usual Japanese food. It is perfectly located at the heart of EDSA - Greenfield District Central Park where people around Metro Manila are passing by. Let's see what's inside

Ramen is the noodle dish we all know and love. Wheat noodles, meat or fish-based broth, sliced pork, dried seaweeds and green onion toppings, and sometimes an egg to compliment the flavors; ramen despite being a Japanese dish is not strange to us Filipinos. You can basically find a good ramen place near you anytime here in the country. From high-end restaurants and small kiosks, you could always get a bowl to satisfy your cravings. One particular place we tried is the Ramen Bar in Greenfield District. They serve Japanese rice bowls and other authentic Japanese dish along with their specialty, ramen.

reasonably priced ramen. broth is also good but could be better. cheese gyoza is dry and no trace of cheese. karaage was very good although a mayo dip doesn't go with it. i wish they had other options for the dip. i love that they carry melona ice cream. good way to end a good meal.

A good place to visit if you want to try something new and unique since it offers authentic Japanese Ramen. Crews are always there when you need them for their service, a thumbs up for their uniform as well. Pricing is a bit high for normal food-goers but after eating you will realize it is worth your money. Ambiance is good as well, not too much people inside the store when I was there. I ordered Spicy Karaage Ramen + Classic Gyudon which I highly recommend for its delicious taste. I am sure to comeback to this Ramen house!

The first time I had ramen here was a good experience. But since we visited like twice this month, ordered the usual Karaage Ramen and Chicken Curry, I feel like the flavor is becoming more common. The ramen was too salty, not only did I had the same comment but even some of my friends agree. The curry, before I could have it even without butter (run out of supply) and still enjoy the meal. But the last time I had it, reminded me of the pre-cook curry packs from Daiso hahaha..
In terms of serving size I can consider it good to share.. house tea are either serve hot or cold.. crews are accommodating and will attend to your every need..

Got to try the food here because we availed discount vouchers online. Without the vouchers, their prices are still quite affordable compared to other restaurants known for ramen.

I ordered the Shoyu ramen and i can say it was just alright, the noodles were slightly different than others I've tasted. It stayed nice and chewy for longer. The broth was just fine as well, not too rich, not too plain either.

We also had their karaage which was very nice. The chicken meat was juicy and the skin was crispy and it had nice flavor inside and out.

The service was good, the servers were attentive and had proper product knowledge. What let us down a bit was the ambience. Place was too plain for our liking, almost just like a fast food chain minus the tons of people.

Overall, the experience was alright, not too impressive but you do get good value for money.

Review 2:

Since it wasn't such a busy Saturday, I took time dining and chilling here at Ramen Bar. I spent most of my morning till early afternoon enjoying their own line of up Japanese favorites. I was invited by the owner, Allan Uy and accompanied by Karla Ramos of @karlaroundtheworld. If you're are wondering why we ordered so much, others failed to show up. That simply meant, a feast for two.

The interiors are casually designed using minimal decorations, and despite the scorching heat, the temperature inside remained cool. No sweating here while you slurp down your choice of a hot ramen.

We started with some filling starters of Hirata Buns. For just Php 220, we got the sampling of crispy Chicken Karaage, Ebi, Mushroom, and classic, melt in your mouth Kakuni (braised pork belly). I appreciated the pillow-soft buns paired with different tastes and textures. I highly recommend having this with a group. Karla and I also had a healthy fix of Edamame or soybeans.

Ramen bar currently boasts 7 kinds of ramen with its broth taking hours to prepare for a more vibrant taste. Among these selections, we opted to try 3. First was Bikkiru Ramen, a bowl with miso, minced pork, chili, negi, naruto and aji tamago. It was a delicious encounter that could've been a tad better with an explosive spice. I should've asked for more chili! The Longanissa Ramen was my top pick, thanks to its extra strong garlic flavor and runny sunny side up egg. Seafood Ramen, on the other hand, was as interesting, given its myriad of toppings in simple shio broth.

Besides the ramens, our table got rice too in the form of Chahan (Japanese fried rice) and Chicken Katsucurry bowl. The latter was a favorite given its heightened taste, while the former could use a thicker and more seasoned curry base. The fried rice complimented well with their version of plump Ebi Tempura.

Ramen Bar solo branch is located at The Hub, Greenfield District, Highway Hills, Mandaluyong City. It is very much accessible via EDSA or Shaw Boulevard.
Review 1:

Ramen in the Philippines has been around for decades and for a long time they were part of a Japanese restaurant's menu. Around 5 years ago, it got a huge boost with a number of Japanese ramen franchises joining the local food scene.
Ramen bar was born here and it has been hanging around Greenfield District for ages. It's fighting and seemingly surviving the still-evolving ramen market. Unfortunately, though, I found my recent visit here subpar, nothing special.
I got their scaled-down Miso Ramen with Shoyu for Php 180. It's half the usual price with fewer pork and noodles. It seemed it also translated to half the satisfaction. The soup was rather salty and watered down and noodles too plain. I also got Gyudon bowl. Its beef was not of good quality and its fat portions significant. It was also presented sloppily.
Nevertheless, the interiors were well lit, spacious and fitting to its theme. I might have ordered the wrong things, another visit should happen soon.

Craving for some Ramen after shift! 🐷

I'm with my co-worker we then tried the R.B.S or Ramen Bar Special since the server told us that its their best seller and its already good for sharing. At 380php its very filling and reasonable too! 😁

We also ordered their Classic Gyudon priced at 195php if I am not mistaken. The beef was tender and juicy at the same time. We just asked for extra broth since the noodles were that plenty btw its for free!

600++ for two is already worth it! Coming back for more!!

I went into Ramen Bar because I was looking for a restaurant that would allow me to dine inside with my puppy since it's usually too humid to sit outside around noontime. Luckily, they let us in - which I'm SO grateful for because there's not a lot of restaurants in the Philippines that allow you to bring your pet inside. Anyway, I ordered the RBS #1 and it was pretty good! I would definitely recommend Ramen Bar to anyone who lives around the Greenfield District area.

I loved the ramen. I ordered R.B.S. #1 and gyoza. I expected gyoza to be the original one not deep fried but it was ok. And the the noodles in the ramen was delicious but i didn't really like the meat there was too much fat. But the waitresses was very polite and nice. 😊

We first tried their soft buns on the Venetian Passport food fest years ago at BGC and came back the week later. I can still remember that even though the look of RBS#1 is not visually appealing, it is an amazing bowl. I also loved how the pork is so soft you don't even need to chew as much.

Been craving for ramen for some time so I was quite happy that my friends decided to step in to Ramen Bar. It was my first time eating at this restaurant and it didn't disappoint. I ordered Shoyu Ramen and was surprised by how big and generous the serving is. It surely hits the spot and its definitely a perfect comfort food at that.

Pretty good ramen. Would have preferred my broth hotter (temperature). I enjoyed the ebi buns. The Shoyu ramen was very basic but allllll good.

It was my first time to eat in this kind of place. So good and peaceful place. I ordered a Beef Teriyaki. It was so delicious and sweet. Yes, sweet! Because the taste of it was a bit juicy and sweet. The best beef for me so far!

The Food:
Karaage (Php 155) - Before trying what Ramen Bar has been raving about, I started my meal with chicken Karaage A reasonable price for four large cuts of chicken. Quite oily when you bite in but the crunch of every munch cannot be taken away, which is actually good. I just don't get attracted to fried food that shows you how much oil you've eaten.

Kakuni Buns (Php 220) - A better starter, Kakuni Buns, with that soft and meaty pork sandwiched between soft yet firm bite-sized buns. It wasn't too strong as a starter, which was perfect before I began my 'brothy' ramen.

RBS #1 (Php 380) - The best-seller you cannot go wrong with, RBS #1. Ramen Bar made the right move of improving their pork broth. Longer time of boiling pork bones with additional ingredient to enhance the taste, and that's the Abura. I tasted the difference as I sipped into its creamier and thicker soup with rich flavors playing inside my mouth. Better flavor, plus more pork back fat in this ramen. You don't care about being fatty, then get this RBS #1.

Spicy Karaage Ramen (Php 280) - A new found favorite at Ramen Bar, Spicy Karaage Ramen. There were too much pork fat flavors swimming in my mouth so I wanted to balance it out with something spicy. I love the richness of spices with a good number of karaage on my bowl. Already a meal to fill my hungry stomach tank.

Ramen ramen ramen!!! These are three of my favourite things hehehe.

I love ramen bar! Amazing place to eat a quick and yet very satisfying lunch. If you want true comfort food I suggest ordering the spicy pork ramen. It has sliced pork pieces cooked in the broth with minced chilli pork to season it that sits on top of long ramen noodles that have a nice bite to them. The bowl of ramen is garnished with lots and lots of spring onions that give you a pop of freshness with each slurp and a soft boiled egg.

This joint rocks. Quick and easy meal with an amazing bowl of ramen.

I find that there's always too much soup and never enough noodles... TIP order another side of just noodles ;) I do whenever I'm super hungry!

The recent ramen craze has spawned a number of ramen restaurants in Manila. But it was only last November 3 that I was able to get a taste of this Japanese noodle soup (better late than never!) at Ramen Bar’s latest branch in Greenfield District, Mandaluyong City.

My companion and I ordered R.B.S. # 1, which I suppose means Ramen Bar Specialty. The menu said that is tonkotsu, shoyu, chasyu, kakuni, negi and naruto. From my research, I found out that tonkotsu is pork bone soup, shoyu is soy sauce, chasyu is thin pork slices, kakuni is braised pork belly, negi is spring onion and naruto is fish cake. The serving size is quite big so we requested the waiter to split it. It also has ajitsuke tamago (soft-boiled eggs marinated in soy sauce) and plenty of nori (seaweed). The broth has a rich, meaty taste and liberal amount of pork. The pork has a melt-in-your-mouth quality.

Since I love everything with cheese, we ordered Cheese Gyoza as our appetizer. I just love the combination of ground meat, vegetables and various seasoning. It is crispy on the outside but juicy on the inside. It is served with a mayo dip.

We also had Ebi Tempura. I did not taste this since I’m not a fan of ebi. But I noticed that their prawns are quite big and has a light and crispy batter. It comes with a tempura sauce.

For dessert, we really don't have much of a choice as only Tempura Ice Cream is available. It is vanilla ice cream thinly wrapped in fried tempura batter, topped with chocolate covered cereal and chocolate wafer stick then drizzled with chocolate syrup. I liked the presentation and it is not that sweet.

I was a bit surprised that their ramen and ebi tempura are relatively expensive since the restaurant doesn’t look pricey-- interiors are fairly plain and low-key. Also, Ramen Bar’s air-conditioning system has a problem that day because the place is quite hot--they added electric fans at the dining area to lessen our discomfort. But anyway, Ramen Bar’s staffs are friendly and accommodating. They explain the menu well and allowed us to plug our laptops (plus points!).

Ramen Bar’s menu may only have a few selections, but I guess I'll just go to Ramen Bar to satisfy my ramen craving, which they have successfully done.

I love broth and noodles, in that order.

And ramen on a stormy day in Manila certainly hits the spot. So off we.go, hubby and I, to Greenfield District on a Saturday. We shared a large bowl of seafood shoyu (spicy!) The large bowl could feed one really hungry person by the way.

Our favorite sides are the aji Tamago (soft boiled egg) and buttered corn.

For coffee lovers, you must take try their condensed milk and brewed coffee. Have to say the staff didn't know their blend but I wouldn't expect them to. Robusta, I believe it was.

Just another dive for my comfort food madness. So if I go missing, this is one of those places you will likely find me at.

Kain!

We've eaten thrice already at Ramen Bar Greenfield District and left satisfied all times.

We've been ordering R.B.S. #1 since our first visit as the waiter was right to recommend it. Priced at PHP380, it seems overpriced but actually not so as the ramen comes in big bowls, in servings that can be shared by 2 to 3 people. The ramen is served piping hot and delicious.

Another big bowl we prefer is the Seafood Ramen. The level of spiciness may be customized to the diner's preference.

A good item to pair with the ramen is the Gyoza, deep fried dumplings made of mostly vegetables and a little meat. It is also available with cheese, a tastier version in my opinion.

The branch is a relaxing one to visit as it is frequently not busy, as most of the restaurants at Greenfield District are. It can accommodate 50 people inside and 10 more outside. It has an onsite restroom. It has no dedicated parking though. Parking is available in the street and some walking distance away, in an open parking area or a condominium building.
