Pros: so yummy food

Cons: Mausok bes! Parang ikaw na iniihaw, medyo mabagal ang pag serve at di pa sabay sabay, like you will have to wait for isa pang ulam ng 15mins

Finally we experienced Sarsa! My personal favorite was their KareKare! It was soo good!! From the sauce to the meat and the additional crispy meat and their bagoong! Ugh! So soo good! 11/10 for me! LOL! We also tried their sisig which is crispy and flavorful I'd give it 8/10. What was interesting here was their Fried chicken sinigang. We were skeptical to order it first but since I'm a fried chicken lover, I knew I had to try it. Sooooo, the verdict was 7/10. I think it was too sour for my taste but I love how crispy it was and the presentation together with the potatoes. Plus it was fried chicken. You can never go wrong with fried chicken. Lol. We also tried their batchoy which was really really gooood! I love the generous amount of pork, noodles, fresh ingredients and garlic they have in there. It was 10/10! The only sad part about it here was their isaw. I think the serving was small. We were expecting a huge amount of isaw for its price. So I'd give a 6/10. Whole Sarsa experience I'd give it 8/10. Would definitely go back to try their interesting menu! ❤️

The food was good, we had sinigang na belly and adobo, and rice, both dish tasted great. The place was nice too, but the staff wasn't that pleasant, they were not so accomodating, and it takes quite a while to get your bill. I would like to return though for a second time to try their other dishes.

Sarsa Kitchen + Bar- features the best of traditional Filipino and Negrense dishes with a twist!!

We had a quick lunch here after my passport appointment. They have a promo on Booky, Buy 1 Take 1 Crispy Pork Sisig for PHP325.

Definitely worth a try!

They have really sumptuous food and accommodating staff! Inasal tofu was surprisingly good, everyone should try it!

My only concern would be the food cost, as it a bit pricey for its serving size. Nonetheless, it's a must visit!

Food is good! Although the serving is abit small for my liking. Dined here with my family and the waiter told us that a dish would be good for sharing for 3 to 4 people but when the dishes arrived we were quite disappointed by its size. What lacks in size compensates in the taste of the food; still giving it a 4/5 because of it

Yummy Negrense Cuisine! After walking and searching for a place to eat we landed in Sarsa. We loved it! We ordered Kare-kare, chicken inasal, sizzling kansi, sinigang na bangus belly. The chicken inasal is bit pricey but still good taste, bangus belly is bit bland for me, Kare-kare is too orange-y but its ok for me and my favorite is Sizzling Kansi no more explanation I really really like it! The ambiance is nice, staffs are accommodating, the food is mouth watering but quite expensive. Overall, I wasn’t disappointed at all. I will definitely visit again soon to try other food.

This is one of my favorite Filipino restaurant. We live their isaw. It’s the best place to get your isaw fix. The Crispy Sinigang Liempo was ok. The sinigang taste wasn’t so pronounced. Their deep fried dilis is also very tasty. Chicken inasal and batchoy are also highly recommended.

If you’re up for quality instead of quantity type of Filipino dishes, this restaurant is great. Had pork sisig and although it looks like a small serving, it was enough to feed me right. We also had caldereta and it was good! Dish presentation also encourages appetite. I don’t consider it as an affordable place to binge eat with a group, but definitely a good place to treat yourself and a date to good Filipino food.

I will never forget their Kare-Kare. Definitely on my top list! The sauce is so rich in flavor it’s enough ulam for the rice. The lechon kawali is also good crispy but not hard to eat and tender on the inside! The price is a little bit high though, it’s not something I can go back in in a week but for no doubt quality filipino food this is a thumbs up! If you have foreign guests that wants to try Filipino cuisine, rest assured that this is a good choice.

Dining at Sarsa was such an enjoyable experience for the taste buds! Never thought we (yes, general consensus with my friends) can fall in love with monggo even more until we tried Sarsa’s version of it. Same goes with the lechon kawali. They certainly know how to amp up our beloved comfort Filipino dishes. I just wish the servings would be somewhat bigger for the price. Some dishes were quite on the expensive side and medyo bitin! But overall, we love dining at Sarsa. Customer service was great, too!

Had lunch here earlier annnd the place was jam packed. Isaw was 💯 and the kare-kare was really good; lots of veggies and the beef was tender. The 3 way tofu was good as well, not that crispy though. Overall the food compliments the price.

the place was clean and quiet even they have lots of customer when i went here. the servers were polite and attentive. for food, i enjoy their spicy bachoy. it has spicy with a little bit of sweetness, you can also taste some ginger and squid on its broth. then for their inasal, just an ordinary inasal.

Inasal sisig best chicken sisig!
Palabok taste good! Second to Dekadas palabok for me.
Sizzling munggo is very good and cool, its unusual to have your munggo in sizzling plate and semi tuyo(rakenroll).
Over all Greatfood and ambiance, its just that serving amount is not worth the price(munggo serving make me sad).

It’s a must for their kansi. Although the green mango shake wasn’t as expected..really hope they will be using green mangoes for that otherwise they just put ripe mango on the description. I was also disappointed with the chicken isaw 😢 as it’s crispy isaw. More like it was chicharon and not grilled.

Sarsa serves up absolutely delicious Filipino food that are... absolutely sinful 😭 the menu always refreshes and there's always something interestingly new to try in additional to the tasty mainstays.

Dishes I've tried here, as usual, recommendations marked with an asterisk:
- Isaw
- Inasal Lumpia
- Inasal Pa-a*
- Sizzling Kansi
- Brainy Pork Sisig* ( ⚠️ Please eat this with caution, there's an unbelievable quantity of oil and fat)
- Pumpkin Chocolate Balls

I think we should have more of this kind of restaurant that celebrates the diversity of Filipino cuisine. Love the interior as it really promotes the modern Filipino setting that's not tacky, I like the small details that they put in it like how their serviettes looks like a "panyo".

As for the food, of course we had to order Sizzling Kansi which is a big hit and one of the dishes that people would come back for. Also we sampled the tortang talong with Sardines and Kesong Puti which is perfectly paired with two sauces (vinegar and banana ketchup) though quite disappointed that they no longer offer the Kansi in rice noodles as I was looking forward to it that day.

I read and heard a lot of raves about this resto plus I follow Chef JP in IG so I know how much passion he puts in managing his restos and cooking for people.

Here's what we ordered:
Batchoy Special - wanted to try the Seafood Batchoy sa gata but it was unavailable. I love the firmness of the noodles and the garlicky flavorful broth.
Chicharon Bulaklak Dinuguan - sinfully delish.
Chicken Isaw - crispy perfect
Crispy Tilapia - love this! Different way of cooking the good old tilapia.
Atay with tsokolate - the bomb! The hint of sweetness goes well with the soft, grilled lliver. You'd think it's weird but it was the best thing I ate that time. Good work, chef!
Inasal - I didn't get to taste but I'm sure it's good
Grilled Pusit - so pretty to look at. There's a bit of gumminess but the flavor is good.

We wanted dessert but the halo-halo series wasn't available. In fact, there were a few items on the menu that were not available. If that's their way of making people come back then it's effective coz I'm definitely coming back! Hope to see chefjayps when I return 😁

Every dish in here was carefully prepared to have that premium feeling. They have their version of street foods, tried the chicken skin. It's basic skewers in garlic oil- the way it should be.

Chef is fond of adding hints of either "bagoong" or crab paste in the dishes. There's subtle taste also in the bachoy ramen that my kid love. Taste and smell like a proper bachoy with their unique twist.

Everything is good to the taste and not salty or whatever. The servings are minimum but was compensated by the rich flavor, you don't need more. Quality to price ratio easily achieved.

Try this shop of your classic Filipino dishes rediscovered.

I like this branch of Sarsa too. It's pretty cozy and the food is pretty consistent with the one at Rockwell which is my favorite branch. I also was very lucky to be able to meet the owner of Sarsa (Chef Jayps) and I was simply blown away. I've been following his instagram and then I saw him serving food to some of the guests. So I was like "omg isn't this the owner of Sarsa?" Then I checked his instagram and saw that he really was there. So I approached him and we even talked in Hiligaynon. He's a really cool person. :) anyway on to the food

I absolutely love their idea of kalabasa chocolate balls. It sounds weird but boy is it so right. It's very crispy on the outside and oozing with chocolate goodness inside. I also love the chicken barbecue. It's juicy and so savory. The adobo was pretty good too. Try their sizzling budbud as well. It's a great new twist and also very delicious. :)

Eating here past peak hour has its benefits. My friend who was on a quick trip into town was craving lechon kawali or crispy pata, so we settled on the twice-cooked pork belly. We added the spicy version of chicken inasal, bugtaw-bugtaw (the Negrense version of gising-gising), and calamansi juice to our order.

While I thought the spiciness of the inasal was slightly overdone, there was no doubting how good it was, just like the gising-gising, which had copious amounts of coconut cream alongside the green beans.

The star of the meal was the twice-cooked pork belly, with its silky peanut-coconut sauce and the chili garlic sauce on the side. That sauce, a combination of ginamos (Ilonggo fermented fish paste) and the coconut, added particular finesse to a dish that's hard to finesse.

It's these small touches that tell you JP Anglo has found his style. There are times it seems there is an inconsistency in operations and service, but in the four restaurants I've eaten bearing this brand, I've always observed a spark in flavours and a refinement in presentation, which I think will come to define modern Filipino cooking.

The ambiance and the food is great. Although there are some things that can still be impproved. First, the server tried to squeeze us to a table where it is already packed and full even though there we're a lot of vacant seats around. Second, we initially ordered Molo however at 11 in the morning they said that it was already out of stock. I may still go back but they're resto is not one of my top choices.

Our family has a tradition of eating out for lunch on Christmas Day. This year, we decided to go to SM Megamall to celebrate. 🎉 My sister and I listed down some of the interesting restaurants we haven't been to yet, and finally decided on Sarsa Kitchen + Bar since my mom loves Filipino food. 😊

We arrived at around 1PM, and even at this time, the restaurant was still full! We waited in line for a short while, and were eventually seated. There were a lot of interesting dishes, but these are the ones that caught our eyes:

✅ PRITCHON PANCAKE (Php 240) - ⭐⭐
This came first, and even if we were extremely hungry, it didn't appeal that much to us. 😕 The pritchon tasted old, and the wrapper a bit tough to chew. The sauce was great, but it was just that.

✅ SINIGANG FRIED CHICKEN WINGS (Php 250) - ⭐⭐⭐⭐
This was definitely something different. The perfectly fried wings were covered in a tamarind-based breading, but was not too sour. There was also a dip on the side, but we don't know what it was. 😂 It tasted good with the wings, though! Serving size was a bit small. 😥 It is served with sweet potato chips, but some of the chips were too oily and soggy.

✅ SIZZLING KANSI (Php 395) - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
FAVORITE DISH FOR THIS MEAL! Despite being the least photogenic among our orders, this was really a winner. 🐷💕 The beef was so tender it melted in our mouths, and the slightly sour gravy was sooo addicting. I also loved the bone marrow they serve it with. So sinful but super delicious!

✅ PINAKBET (Php 225) - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We enjoyed this dish as well. Albeit being a bit expensive for a vegetable dish, serving size was really big, and had a great variety of vegetables in it. We also loved how the vegetables were not too mushy, and was cooked to the right doneness. It was super flavorful, too!

We paired these with plain rice, so as not to overpower the taste of the dishes.

Despite being a busy day, the service was awesome! All our requests were promptly fulfilled. Special mention to Sir Archie, for always being very attentive to our needs and even offered to leave a bottle of water so it will be easier for us to have our water refills. We enjoyed our lunch even more because of him! 😊

The ambiance was nice, and I love how they play OPM songs in the background. Something I noticed though, was that some of the tables seemed too close to each other, like you can overhear the topics being discussed by the group beside you. 😅

Overall, we enjoyed our Christmas celebration here. We left with a smile on our face, with our tummies filled sith great food. 😍💜

Get together with friends are always fun. Our friend from Germany went back to Manila for a visit and was craving for Filipino food.

I ordered their new dish Gata Inasal Paa (Php 185) I didn’t taste the gata and for the price it’s expensive. I felt deprived and gutom pa rin ako. Good thing my friend shared their Inasal Sisig (wasn’t able to take note of the price) which was really good I might say. Crispy and flavorful great with rice. I tried their Ginamos Fried Rice (Php 60) their binagoong rice.

For dessert I ordered sizzling budbud, sticky rice on sizzling plate. Not too overly sweet which was ideal for me. The burned chocolate or was it caramel syrup was a great addition to the dessert.

Masarap naman food nila but I find most of it pricey for the serving size.

I am really a fan of "Kare Kare" and I must say that the "Kare Kare" here is one of the best I ever had so far. I even told my boyfriend while eating "May tumalo na sa karekare ng Barrio Fiesta" haha. Chicken Isaw here is ok well, it was cooked differently and I liked it. I also loved the level of spiciness of their chicken. I loved everything here except for the two waiters. They seems to be not in shape that day or maybe they really have an annoying attitude. I was asking for a glass of water (politely) and it took them forever to give it to us, plus while he was serving it, his face looks like he doesn't want whatever he's doing that day. 😑 I said thank you despite the fact that Im starting to get pissed off by his way of serving. Seriously, you guys are charging us for a "Service Charge" might as well do your job well. My comment are only for those two waiters (i didn't get their name) the other servers (those that wear gray shirt) are very polite and friendly. Nevertheless food here was great. 👍

We ordered Kare-Kare, Brainy Pork Sisig, Munggo, Spicy Chicken Isaw, Crispy Dilis, Plain Rice, Ginamos (Binagoongan) Rice and Sago't Gulaman for drinks. Loved everything except for the sisig, i think it is not that tasty and did not hit the spot. My favorite is the Chicken isaw, felt pricey for Php180 for 3pcs but it was so good and obvious that the intestines were cleaned well. Their Kare-Kare and bagoong are also very good. The beef is very tender and ang daming tuwalya! 😁😁 Really enjoyed and will definitely be on my list when I crave for Filipino food.

Place is crowded on a Sunday evening, which is a good sign. You look at the menu and you’d think- wow, looks like an overpriced carinderia. Keep your seat, order and taste. Flavors are explosive and worth every peso.

Appetizer – we had the isol, and lumpiang inasal. We wanted the isaw but they ran out, it is the most popular appetizer on the menu. The isol, though, were the biggest, plumpest and most flavorful I’ve had ever. It’s not too fatty and greasy, it was perfectly seasoned as well. Two sticks for 180p is a bit pricey I’ll admit, but good to try at least once.

The lumpiang inasal reminded me of peking duck two ways. It was thin crepes, slightly toasted, enveloping slices of smoked chicken inasal and crunchy vegetables. The dipping sauce was slam dunk good as well. Must order.

Main – Sizzling Kansi with Batwan Gravy and French beans with Guinamos and Sarsa XO Sauce. A standing ovation, please, for these two dishes! The beans – a generous serving of crisp, sweet haricot verts lightly tossed with guinamos and Sarsa XO sauce was the perfect foil to the sizzling kansi with that crazy delicious gravy (tantalizingly creamy with a hint of freshness from the batwan) and crazy rich bone marrow. Woohoo.

If there’s one thing to avoid in this place, it’s the drinks. The drink menu is super limited. I ordered what turned out to be the worst mojito I have had ever. The mint leaves were decimated (not muddled as it should be for mojitos) and this imparted a super bitter flavor. I left it virtually untouched after two sips. What a waste.

However, there’s plenty to order here so I guess I can get my drinks elsewhere. Can’t wait to have the chicharon bulaklak dinauguan and the isaw when I return.

Since Sarsa is one of the most requested restaurants by my friends, and so we tried.

1. Store's ambiance is nice.
2. Staff is all over the place, but almost all are nice.
3. The sisig we ordered is dryer than Sahara Desert! Ang dami kasing sisig sa menu, hindi ko alam kung anong sisig yung nakita ko sa kabilang table 😂
4. Condiments are on point except for the suka.
5. Isaw da bomb (I know, chicken isaw, i still gotta try)
6. Despite eating pork pellets aka Sisig, I feel like them other dishes are amazing.

My family had lunch at Sarsa Kitchen's SM Megamall branch and we enjoyed our experience here. It has that classy vibe and at the same time it's roomy enough, like even if there are so many people in there, it doesn't seem squished or crowded. The food is very delicious, though it's a bit pricey for the amount of food that you get. I so love their Sarsa Chicken BBQ with soy muscovado sauce but then again, the serving is good for one to two person. But it's worth a try because the food are just so delicious!

Sorry, no photo! We ordered Palabok, Squid w/ Pesto Kangkong, Kare-Kare, Sisig Inasal, and Thin Sliced Liempo. My favorite would be the Sisig Inasal because of the inasal flavor. I also like their kare-kare but it has very few vegetables than expected. My least favorite is the squid because it was over-cooked and I don't quite get the idea of pesto kankomg. The Pinakbet is my favorite dish so far. Eating okra and ampalaya makes me miss my sweets, but they're really good with the sauce. The ampalaya might be a bit big so expect an extra "mapait" flavor.

Thin-Cut Liempo has excellent chicken flavor, tenderness, and marinade taste. The marinade is good enough so you don't need the burong vinegar or native coffee. Mixing the sauces may be weird for some.

Tuna Sisig was okay. I still prefer pork.

My friends and I loved dining in at Mu Shu, Chef Jayps' resto in Bacolod. I'm happy that he now has a lot of branches for Sarsa, his resto in Manila that serves delectable Ilonggo dishes with a creative twist.

Of course, their Inasal Chicken is very good. But I didn't eat there for that...I tried their Palabok and I'm almost embarrassed to admit that I almost finished the entire plate. Not all of it. Just 3/4 of it. The rest went to my date. Hahaha! It was that good. Probably the best that I have tasted. Those crispy bits of pork rind (chicharon) got me. Namit gid! We ordered;
Poached Boneless Chicken Binakol = 420
Half of chicken serving jampacked with rich flavors or grilled coconut and ginger. Meat is cooked perfectly leaving it moist and firm. Taste is similar to "Tinolang Manok" but with minimal amount of sauce.

Twiced-Cooked Lechon Kawali = 325
I was deeply impressed with the plating, the color of the sauce is also appetizing which is a combination of ginamas gata and chili sauce. Being twiced cooked, the meat achieved its brown color and surface is really crispy. Really a very good combination of pork and tasty sauce.

Oven Roasted Lechon Kawali = 325
Almost similar texture of the twiced cooked lechon kawali but in thinner slices. It was served with pinakurat and chili chocolate sauce. Nothing is really special to this dish, it got small portions and quite expensive price.

Chicharon Bulaklak Dinuguan = 260
At first, I was not impressed on how it looks because it seems to be a typical dinuguan dish. It has small portions as well drowned in thick sauce. But the taste is a bomb, it captured the good combination of sour and spicy taste that I am craving for a dinuguan dish.

Thin-Cut Liempo = 285
Seriosly thin which I find it expensive in a way. Average serving like a thin small palm size of liempo with coffee and burong vinegar. I wont get back to this dish lol.

Bihon Guisado Inasal Sisig = 285
Catchy name right? I am a pansit lover and I fell in love with this dish, it was the star among all the dishes we ordered. Cost wise? it just okay, serving is humongous and don't ask about the taste because it was the best pancit I have ever tasted yet!.

The ambiance is very lively and fresh. The service staff were all accommodating and very swift.

Sarsa opened here at the Megamall for quite some time already and I've longed to eat here ever since I tasted some of their dishes back at their first branch in BGC. The dishes we ordered did not disappoint. The pansit Molo was very flavorful. The pansit luglog had lots of toppings on it and the sauce was just right. They also make one of the best tasting Laing I've encountered so far. . Finally to match the veggies, I ordered I cup of red rice which was more than enough for two people (probably we had soup first before we ate)

I would think this is a great place to dine if you're tired of foreign dishes...

DealGrocer brought us here.
Food was right there good when it comes to filipino cusine. We ordered batchoy beef ribs and Inasal paa (chicken leg). Batchoy beef ribs was great; it was tender, juicy and tasty. It was served with batchoy gravy, which is the awesomest part of the meal. The inasal was close to your JT and Mang inasal type, only with cleaner taste. Chicken was no burnt but cook just right, just enough. Ambiance was great, tropical setting. The only thing off about the service was they almost forgot the batchoy gravy (the most important part of the meal). Other than that service was fast and team was easy to approach.

Sarsa is a great place to bring your balikbayan friends & relatives to. Affordable, delicious Pinoy food with reasonable serving sizes, this place is geared towards big groups. Having dined at their BGC branch several times before, I already knew that the restaurant was good. Being absent on all those previous occasions, my then bf wanted to try Sarsa for our last date before I left for a long trip. Cool with me.

No line for early dinner. So we ordered the inasal sisig and lechon kawali. He added chicken inasal, but I'm not fond of it in general tbh. I also tried the garlic red rice, just because I liked the description. And it was pretty red btw (babaw😃 but that's marketing for you). The lechon kawali was served with a chocolate sauce and pinakurat. My then bf enjoyed this, finding the chocolate sauce a novel pairing with the lechon kawali (I did so too when I first tried it; but my thoughts were limited to "ooooh yummy lechon" at that instance). We both loved the inasal sisig though, huhu I'm actually salivating for it right now. It just works. It makes my list of best sisig in town! I thought the chicken was just okay, but then again I'm really not into chicken inasal in the first place.

Overall, I liked what we ordered. The sisig, in particular, was really good!👍

This place is really pricey for a Filipino Restaurant but I was satisfied with what me and my boyfriend ate here. It wasn't just your ordinary taste of Filipino food.

We ordered their Sizzling Kansi because I got curious of what would be the taste of it and then their Inasal Pa-a. I love their Sizzling Kansi. It has a taste of your usual Kalamansi flavored bulalo with a twist since it was in a sizzling plate without the typical soup. On the other hand, their Inasal reminded me of Mang Inasal's hahaha. Only it was sweeter. But I really enjoyed the food. Even though their serving was big enough for one person, I still think it was pricey. If only they could cut the cost for about 15% LOL

Kudos to the crews who were very accommodating to all.

Solid food selection here! You cannot go wrong, methinks. The winner of the dinner were - twice-cooked pork belly, pinakbet, brainy pork sisig, and grilled blue marlin! Not so keen on the tofu meals tho but still better than most I've tasted. Serving isn't too generous, but you get your money's value with the food and service quality.

This resto satisfied our taste for filipino cuisine with a twist. We ordered the sizzling kansi, roasted kalabasa and twice-cooked pork belly. The sizzling kansi was superb, it is comparable to Locavore's sizzling sinigang. I just wish it had more veggies in it, but super tasty nonetheless. The roasted kalabasa with string beans was for me, the best that we ordered. It was light and it had crispy dilis, salted egg, and shrimp paste where it gets its saltiness and i guess it is really a match made it kalabasa heaven. While the twice cooked pork belly is not that bad, it is not that good either. Me and my two friends decided to give it a 4 because based on what we tasted, it made us crave and go back for more. I will be seeing you again soon sarsa. Looking forward to tasting everything on your menu. ❤️❤️❤️

Ate here with office friends as I was craving for good Pinoy food! It was a good dining experience and the ones we
Like the most are: crispy pata, tuna sisig and their pinakbet! The crispy crablets are also a hit as it was consumed in less than 5 minutes! The sauces that come with the food are yummy; hence, the name Sarsa! Service was quick and servers attentive. I like how they put a twist to the normal Pinoy food. A bit on the unhealthy side but a good cheat day if you are in a mood for good Pinoy food!
Would definitely go back and try their other dishes soon!

Had a dinner break in the midst of shopping at Megamall. Sarsa was just at the right location.

The standout of the evening was Lechon Manok Lumpia - fried Lumpia topped with grilled chicken pieces. Very tasty! Monggo Trio - red green and black Monggo with fried danggit in coconut milk - was good too. Inasal sisig was ok. To go with our beer we got some Isaw and atay. These were just ok.

I always have misgivings dining in an "overpriced" Filipino restaurant just serving something that is better off ordered in a carinderia.

Sarsa is remarkable in giving new life into old Negrense dishes that would even satisfy doubting foodies like me.

The Kare Kare Beef had tripe and veggies in a plate and the sauce in a separate bowl (you could ask for extra sauce just in case). Separating the ingredients makes you enjoy each component better.

The twice cooked pork belly had an interesting coconut guinamos (Ilonggo bagoong) sauce. It wasn't that fatty with most fat already rendered (cooked off).

The kids love the sisig. Both the Inasal Sisig and Tuna Sisig were very good.

Have the Lechon Manok Pansit Canton. Great balance of chicken, peanuts, vegetables and egg noodles.

Also a good dish is the tortang talong with kesong puti and salted eggs.

Their version of sizzling bulalo and crispy tilapia are the best ones I've ever tasted so far. Inasal sisig and pinakbet were also good. Their mango melon shake is a must try! Will definitely go back here and try other dishes.

We had our lunch here during a weekday and we were seated right away. We liked all the dishes that we ordered.

What we had:
Batchoy - it was good, it's not bland.
Twice-cooked pork belly - I loved this one. It's delicious.
Tortang talong with sardines and kesong puti - this one was just okay. Nothing special.
Piaya ice cream sandwich - we had the ube ice cream, the piayaya was thin, it's not the usual piayaya. I liked this dessert. It was good.

A good value for money.
They have a good service.
Highly recommended and will keep coming back to try their other dishes.

First off, the place is spacious and they have many tables. Also, their menu covers a wide range of meals and viands to choose from so that's a plus. The staff are very attentive and they cater to your needs quickly.

However, some of the dishes we ordered are too strong for my taste - Lechon Manok Lumpia and Adobong Pusit. I can't say this goes for all their food though but some really are on the salty side. Nonetheless, they also offer really really hearty Ilonggo food which I really really love. Their Batchoy is so good- reminds me a lot of the original La Paz Batchoy from western visayas. Their Twice cooked Pork Belly (the Ginamot gata that goes with it compliments the chili garlic very well) and Danggit Fried rice are also must-tries.

Over all, this place should be a part of your bucket list since it serves very delicious Ilonggo dishes that come with interesting but yummy sarsa.

The food here is really good! Highly recommended are their Ginamos Rice and Lechon Kawali. Who thought that chocolate would taste good in pork? The service is also superb, they tend to smile even in distress (I was there when someone had broken their glasses and the one who is possibly a manager actually swept it off still smiling). Also to mention that their toilet is also clean!

I like the twice cooked belly and the isaw. The special batchoy is a must try this rainy season. The guyabano shake is refreshing and most importantly cup of rice is affordable. (If you've been to other restau then you know why I say this)

Good food. Affordable. Better ambiance.
