I heard they got a really good Ube Pancakes. However when I visited, it was not available so I just ordered their Regular Pancake with Bacon and Maple Syrup.

The Pancake is not as fluffy as other pancakes out there but when it comes to its texture inside, its pretty thick and you know that its gonna be equivalent to a meal and at the same time the serving of the bacon was like a good one. I hope the next time I go back the Ube Pancake is gonna be available.

Ordered the sweet potato fries with garlic mayo, pork katsudon and corn soup via foodpanda. I enjoyed my food, it was reasonably priced (plus there was a discount when you use the foodpanda app for orders). Will be trying more menu items soon!

Good quality food at a VERY affordable price! They have some unique dishes that are not commonly found. I recommend the Crispy Crab Pockets, Aligue Pasta, Adobo/Sisig Fried Rice Omelettes & the Ube Lava Pancakes.
They have a nice ambiance. Very spacious. Plus, the servers were friendly.

Two words to describe our experience at Peach Boy: Mind Blown. Well, except for the fact that when we visited there were some items that were not available. However, that just gives us more reason to go back here and try more stuff. The peach grilled chicken was genius! This was the first time we have tried a peach marinade BBQ chicken and it didnt disappoint. The ube pancake is good for sharing as it had multiple layers. The peach boy pork belly sandwich was also really good!

Overall, we were surprised that the price of the food here is really affordable and the quality or taste wasn't even sacrificed. Keep it up Peach Boy!

Peach Boy served as the venue of our 2019 Christmas Party! Strategically located near EDSA of Highway Hills, Mandaluyong City, it was the perfect venue for everyone. Easy to locate, near transport hubs and offered parking space at a nearby building, although it can fill up easily. We sampled some of their dishes too. They prepared a hefty dinner buffet for everyone to enjoy. We were a rowy bunch and having the place all to ourselves was a great option. I would recommend Peach Boy as a place to hold events, functions and other intimate gatherings. They also have a mezzanine area if you have a smaller crowd to entertain. Recommended.

Although it was just a few minutes away from our abode, I have yet to try the restaurant that was until we had our Christmas Party there last December 7. I loved that the venue had high ceiling plus floor to ceiling windows creating an illusion of space. It also had a second floor with a view of the restaurant below.

Peach Boy is a new Asian – American restaurant, offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner, a variety of dishes to choose from appetizers to desserts. Located in Mandaluyong City, the restaurant gives a chill vibe from the lighting and the decorations, plus there’s a second floor enough to cater more customers.

For the food, we were served the following:

Crispy Crab and Cheese Pockets

The outer part was crispy, while the inner crab-cheese filling was really soft and tasty.

Peach Salad

Knowing that it has peach vinaigrette, I was actually trying to find a balance between sweetness and sourness, but it was bland for me.

Adobo Fried Rice and Sisig Fried Rice Omelette

The adobo and sisig were really tasty, and the presentation of the food is really good, where the egg was enclosing the dish.

Choriburger

The patty was salty for me since I’m not into salty foods. The bread wasn’t that good.

Peach Pork Belly

I liked the Pork Belly. It wasn’t too salty which was fine to me. The bread was too plain.

Laing Pesto with Tinapa Pasta

As a Pasta lover, all I can say is that the taste wasn’t that special, though I commend them for trying a different twist with the pasta.

BBQ Platter

Probably the best among the dishes are the chicken and the veggies. The chicken and ribs taste really stood out. Its sauce even made it tastier!

Ube Pancake

It was satisfyingly addicting because the pancake itself and the syrup weren’t too sweet. The pancake was thin and fluffy, and the sauce really tasted like real ube.

All in all, Peach Boy has satisfied my taste buds because their dishes are unique, and some are not found in your usual menu. My recommended dishes are Crispy Crab and Cheesy Pockets, Peach Salad, BBQ Platter and Ube Pancake.

The first time I heard about this restaurant, there was one adjective that immediately entered my mind. Fun.

And I was right. I ask you, you would think of naming his restaurant, Peach Boy, just so his favorite dessert is, yes you got it, Peach Cobbler (which they served our group).

Let’s start with the review.

Of all the food served, it was the Crispy Crab & Cheese Pockets, the Choriburger and the BBQ Platter that stole the show. The crispy crabs were simple wantons filled with crabs, cream cheese, melted cheese and sweet chili sauce that melded almost perfectly. Like what I said, it’s simple yet fantastic.

On the other hand, the Choriburger was not what you call simple but slightly complex combination of homemade longganisa patty with sunny-side egg, barbecue mayo and atsara in a brioche bun. Another heavy in the stomach and protein-rich was the BBQ Platter. This barbecue dish wonder is made up of peach baby back ribs, peach barbecue pork belly, chicken leg quarter, chicken teriyaki with two sauces, sautéed vegetables and cabbage slaw. Good for a hungry group of carnivorous.

Peach Boy’s take on the omelette were the Adobo Fried Rice Omelette and the Sisig Fried Rice Omelette. Both were winners on the taste department.

Now, the downside. Personally, I didn’t much care for the Teriyaki Chicken (grilled boneless chicken leg with teriyaki glaze) and specially, the Laing Pesto with Tinapa Pasta. Both were on the bland side with the Laing Pesto on the very bland side. Worse, the noodles wasn’t even al dente. As for the Teriyaki Chicken yes, it was tender but it wasn’t marinated well.

The Ube Lava Pancake was such a joy to watch with the thick ube halaya sauce drowning the flat cake. But the joy stops there. Why? One, the sauce was way too much (nakaka-umay) and two, the pancakes were not how good pancakes should be. Ideal pancakes are fluffy and not overly dry. Peach Boys’ was a universe away.

The Peach Cobbler? Well, I heard that it’s a bestseller. Who am I to go against the tide? But for me, I didn’t like it that much. I have a different take on the dessert. And definitely, it was not what was served.

But generally, our foodie group had a peachy time. The place was cozy and manned by attentive servers. One thing though, they must close the door leading to the kitchen AT ALL TIMES. Or replace it with a swinging door or soft drapes. Just suggesting.

Just few blocks from EDSA, you can reach this place by walking for 3-5mins.

Place was clean and crisp, the peach tree design in the middle of the restaurant is catchy and give the feels of calmness. The wall murals gives the pinoy feels and local design.

Servers are nice but could be trained more for that quick response to customers' requests.

Enjoyed their food fusion menu:

CRISPY CRAB AND CHEESE POCKETS 5/5
- I like the crispy crust and the cheesy crab taste.

PEACH SALAD 5/5
- refreshingly good!

ADOBO FRIED RICE OMELETTE 3/5
- Taste of adobo could be improved.

SISIG FRIED RICE OMELETTE 3/5
- I find that the sisig taste is too empowering, could tone down the saltiness.

CHORI BURGER 3/5
- not too fond of the chori taste because I find it too salty but younger generations would really love this one.

PEACH PORK BELLY SANDWICH 5/5
- this one is my favorite, the tender meat, sweet and salty flavors just balanced the whole sandwich.

LAING PESTO WITH TINAPA PASTA 3/5
- the laing flavor is somehow overempowered the pesto, i would like pesto and tinapa more.

TERIYAKI CHICKEN 4/5
- the chicken meat is tender and flavorful.

BBQ PLATTER (BABY BACK RIBS, PEACH BBQ PORK BELLY, PEACH BBQ CHICKEN LEG QUARTER, BONELESS CHICKEN TERIYAKI) 5/5
- everything in the platter is just so good and satisfying. Taste are fine and serving size is reasonable.

Desserts:
UBE LAVA PANCAKES 4/5
- presentation, color and taste were good.

PEACH COBBLER 4/5
- i find it a little bit sweet but it taste good with the ice cream.

Milkshakes:
MINT CHOCO MILKSHAKE
CHOCO NUTTY MILKSHAKE
MATCHA MILKSHAKE
UBE MILKSHAKE
MANGO MILKSHAKE

A new modern cafe just emerged in Mandaluyong, a stone throw away from EDSA. It’s a sizable spot, two floors can likely house around a hundred people.

They have a peach tree inside and sells peach cobbler as one of their many sweet treats. They are, however, more known for the Ube Lava Pancakes. It is a stack of ube flavored pancakes that come with a generous amount of ube halaya syrup.

Since we are already in the sugar part of Peach Boy’s menu, I invite you to explore as well two vibrant drinks in Ube and Matcha shakes. It will easily stand out on your table with its bright colors of purple and green.

On savory picks, especially if you are a group of four or more, go for the Barbecue Platter, a delicious, value for money spectacle of Peach Baby Back Ribs, Peach Barbecue Pork Belly, Peach Barbecue Chicken Leg Quarter, Boneless Chicken Teriyaki with sides of 4 cups java rice, slaw, sauteed vegetables and 2 kinds of sauces.

Another filling encounter will be the rice omelet specials of Peach Boy. They served me two kinds, Adobo and Sisig. The former I found tastier and had more chunks of protein in chicken adobo.

For appetizers, the Peach Salad will give you a refreshing start with this restaurant’s blend of mixed greens, tomato, cashews, peach slices in peach and honey vinaigrette. Pick the Crispy Crab & Cheese Pockets too, a crispy and creamy encounter of fried wontons filled with crab, cream cheese and herbs.

Peach Boy got me two kinds of sandwiches, Peach Pork Belly Sandwich and their take on Boracay’s Choriburger. I only got to love and indulge the latter, a homemade longganisa patty with a sunny side up egg, barbecue mayo, atchara in a buttery, soft, brioche bun.

Finally, I had forkfuls of one my top picks, Laing Pesto with Tinapa Pasta. It’s an amazing combination given that they complement one another. The Laing gave the classic pesto dish more texture and coconut flavor.

Peach Boy is located at 11 Calbayog Street, corner Domingo M. Guevarra Street, Mandaluyong City. They serve Breakfast, Lunch, Snacks, and Dinner.

The ambiance is quite nice. Fairly still new restaurant that serves great quality food. The best, and worthy of the wait, is the UBE PANCAKES 💜💜🥰 Nothing quite like it. Bought some cookies (no photo) to take home. Defo will come back to try for more foodstuffs!! #PeachBoy

I sometimes envy the residents of Mandaluyong: they often seem to be right smack in the middle of things. Almost every foodie destination is accessible, whether you go east, west, north or south in the metro. And as if these people don’t have enough advantages when it comes to foodie destinations, a new and exciting one opened right in their turf.

I am someone who passionately believes in the ideology that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. For one, I never leave home without having my breakfast because I won’t be having the energy I needed to last me through the day if I won’t be getting my dose of daily sustenance from my first meal. And to be honest about it, thinking of creative ways on what to eat for breakfast everyday may actually be draining as well. So when an opportunity to do a food review for an American-Asian inspired restaurant with an all-day breakfast concept called Peach Boy Restaurant comes up, I was certain this was something I’d count myself in.

For someone who could eat breakfast meals all day long, dining at Peach Boy Restaurant right in the heart of Mandaluyong City was indeed heaven for me. What is it about breakfast meals that I am so enamored into it? For one, you could bring in as many kinds of possible from all over the world. From its Asian-American fusion cuisines, it’ll be like having breakfasts from different countries all in one place.

Alright, I’ll admit, living in the metro may exactly be a culinary paradise, eating only breakfast food alone might be a bit of a far fetch. But, it’s pretty undeniable that breakfast food, in its entirety, is AWESOME. I mean just think about hot waffles, pancakes, bacon, eggs and sausages. Doesn’t that conjure up a wonderfully irresistible image in your mind?

The newly opened Peach Boy Restaurant promises to provide a unique dining experience that will keep guests coming back for more. Peach Boy aims to serve original and enticing food that’s also Instagram-able! It’s varied menu ranges from Filipino breakfast staples to Hawaiian-Japanese fusion dishes to classic American sandwiches and pastries.

Peach Boy offers quality gourmet food at very reasonable prices, all their breakfast foods are wholesome goodness that won’t make you walk away from the restaurant feeling like you’ve been ripped off. Instead, they’ll leave you positively stuffed and extremely satisfied at the end of your visit.

My friends and I recently checked out Peach Boy Restaurant and what I really appreciate is the personal space it gives its customers. Unlike other resto and coffee shops I used to frequent, this don’t have tables just literally inches away from each other, and Peach Boy understands this very need. With separate sections, there’s plenty of space for everyone to settle down and have a conversation that the next-door table won’t be able to eavesdrop on.

The servings are generous, eggs are cooked to perfection. And crispy French toast is, served just the way you’ll love it. You might want to share it with someone because it’s just so rich that one person might not be able to take this on alone.

Oh, and you won’t have to go far and travel all the way to Boracay Island if you want to try eating Chorizo Burger or Choriburger because they have it here. Served with fries on the side, sold at Php155 per order, it is a pretty solid steal to me.

If chorizo isn’t your thing, there’s Peach Pork Belly Sandwich which you could try as well. Served on a warm bun of bread, it’s one loaded meal on a bed of crisp fresh lettuce, complete with fries on the side. It’s sold at Php139 each, it might sound measly for its steep price, but trust me, you’d be willing to hand over all your money for this breakfast food.

You may also want to try their unique and innovative take on the Filipino favorite Laing which they had incorporate with pesto and tinapa flakes on pasta. They call it Laing Pesto with Tinapa Flakes. Sold at Php138 per bowl, it comes with garlic bread on the side. Browsing on their menu, they have other innovative dishes for you to try: Spicy Bicol Express with Lechon Bits, Creamy Aligue with Shrimp, and Sweet Chicken with Spaghetti [I bet the kids will love this particular dish].

I am partial to their Chicken Teriyaki. It’s served with generous sauce and two cups of Java rice and coleslaw side salad. Peach Boy’s take on Chicken Barbecue also reminds me of Aristocrat’s chicken bbq which catapulted them to popularity back during the days. Too bad, they weren’t able to consistently do the same quality all through the years. And thank God for Peach Boy for coming up with almost the same [if not maybe even better] recipe of the said chicken bbq dish.

For large groups, Peach Boy has group platter too. Sink your teeth on their All Meat Platter composed of chicken teriyaki, chicken bbq, and ribs with mounds of Java rice and coleslaw and veggies served with dipping sauce. Groups can order from any of their three platters (All Meat, BBQ, and Surf & Turf) which also comes with their signature Peach Iced Tea. Whether it’s breakfast, lunch, or dinner, every moment will be more than just peachy at Peach Boy. The restaurant can accommodate parties, events, business meetings, or get-togethers with family and friends.

For the health conscious, worry not, they’ve also got something for you. There are three salad variants to choose from: Caesar Salad [Php125], Asian Shrimp Salad [Php135], and Peach Salad [Php135].

Those with sweet tooth aren’t left behind too. Peach Boy has desserts and milkshakes to die for! Their Peach Cobbler was recommended but I’m not really fond of stewed fruits and warm desserts so it wasn’t much of a highlight for me. Nonetheless it was sweet and still pretty good!

Their Matcha Milkshake tastes great along with their Choco Mint Milkshake and Nutty Choco Milkshake. But if you like natural fruit based ones, they’ve got buko shake and watermelon shake to name some.

However, what had really gotten the attention of food enthusiasts especially those from Instagram nation was Peach Boy’s signature Ube Lava Pancake. They are the most perfect, prettiest and fluffiest pancakes I’ve ever seen. It is a Hawaiian inspired dish with its five layers of ube pancakes submerged in a fountain of ube halaya sauce. Make sure to take a video or photo while being served this Instagram worthy dish! It’s unconventionally conventional.

Peach Boy Restaurant is a mecca of breakfast foods with an extensive menu that reflects their very own personality and enthusiasm. Come and visit them because they’re definitely worth the time and travel to Mandaluyong City.

Ambiance and location – spacious, cozy and well air-conditioned (di ka pagpapawisan sa sobrang lamig). It’s casual dining restaurant and can accommodate groups. Max capacity of 150 guests, they also have a function room available on the second floor that can fit a maximum of 50 persons whether it’s a party, events, business meetings or just get-together with family and friends.
Selections and food – Menu consists of dishes from Filipino, Hawaiian, Japanese and Western cuisines. My personal favorites were Crispy Crab and cheese pockets, Peach Salad, Peach pork belly sandwich, Teriyaki Chicken and Ube Lava Pancakes for the finale! Oh, I love their Matcha milkshake too!
Value for Money – Very affordable (less than 200 php for sandwiches, pasta and other main courses. Less than 1000php for BBQ Platters-good for 4 persons)
Overall, I would recommend this and will go back again.

We've been curious about this place ever since it opened near our home. The ambiance was nice and the decorations were cute! Really friendly service.

We ordered the Cesar Salad (they ran out of the Peach Salad—ironic since because of their name...we hope we can try it next time) and the Squash Soup. Really good and hearty. Generous serving of bacon bits on the salad. They Squash Soup was a delight; although the croutons were a bit soggy, it was still yummy.

Next: Sweet Potato Fries. As a lover of fries, I was quite disappointed with the portion size. Fries are supposed to be a good handful, but as you can see from the photo—you can almost count or guess how many pieces there were. Taste-wise—it was satisfying.

Main: the Pork Belly Sandwich and the Chori Burger. These were goooood. Especially the Pork Belly Sandwich. It was juicy and full of flavor. Downside: both sandwiches were a bit messy to eat. But, then again, what sandwich is easy to eat?

Conclusion: we're definitely going back to try their other meals on the menu. I'm excited to try their pasta and maybe order some of their dessert next time! 🍑
