We've been a fan of unlimited food. And we keep coming back here. Aside from food is great, it's cheaper than other unlimited food restaurants. Although you still have to request for beef belly korean bbq and crabs. Hindi din ganon kadami ang variety. Ambiance is also good.
I have been in love with Tong Yang for so long. Especially when the rate was just P399 for lunch. Now that it’s been bought by Vikings group, rates have increased as expected. Here, you get the best of both worlds with their Grill and Shabu-Shabu. They have a wide array of meat, seafood, dimsum, and vegetables. Drinks, including beer, are also included in the buffet. The best part is they serve crabs! And I love the sauce station (haha!) Service is also excellent and never fails.
The best shabu-shabu-barbeque place so far. I had a grand feast of various barbeque innards (pork and chicken, tumbong, isaw, tripe, liver, heart, kidney), seafood (tuna sperm, dory, different kinds of fishes, squid, mussels, oysters, shrimps and crabs), huge choices of greens and leaves, balls (squid balls, fishballs), mushrooms......and a lot more. Drinks are included in the buffet. Desserts are ice cream, halo-halo and fresh fruits. Appetizer includes sushi rolls and katsus. Can’t wait to return for more!

Tong Yang Shabu-Shabu and Barbecue offers a unique dining experience wherein customers are given the liberty to cook their food in whichever way they desire. Diners may cook their food via hotpot (shabu-shabu) and the built-in grill on the table. Hotpot with boiling broth. Shabu-shabu or hotpot is a Chinese and Japanese way of cooking food in boiling broths contained in metallic pots. Slivers of meat, seafood, and vegetables are dipped in boiling soup until they are cooked. These morsels can either be eaten as is, dipped in a flavorful sauce, or as a soup using the hot broth as base.
Tong Yang is the best place if you want shabu shabu, samgyupsal, and a buffet of ingredients all in one place. Having a griller and a boiling soup to cook different kinds of things is a perfect food bonding experience with friends and family.

I was able to try Tong Yang in Bel-Air Makati. It was a Saturday night dinner so I pay Php595.00 net for Unlimited Shabu-shabu and Grill.
I enjoyed wide selections of meats and seafoods. They also served cook food. You can ask for crabs also, upon request.

Hotpot All You Can!
Product: Tong Yang is a Shabu Shabu, hotpot buffet. They offer trays of fresh ingredients for you to either put on your hotpot or fry and eat on your own. There are two places for you to cook on, one is the hotpot pot where you can choose among their options for broths. And one is for cooking and grilling the meat.
There are so many options for you to choose from, it can be so overwhelming so try to contain yourself. There's a wide selection of sushi, seafood, vegetables, and meat. There's so many to choose from, so make sure you have a big appetite before you come here.
The taste of the food, there are some that are really good like their siomai and their meats were marinated thoroughly. Some were okay and are what you expect them to taste like, like the hotdogs and vegetables. I also really love their selection of meats and seafood. There are some that I've never even seen or tasted anywhere like, the baby shark, parrot fish, and so many more.
I would say that eating here is really worth your money and time. I really enjoyed my visit and I would say I ate my money's worth.
Venue: Tong Yang has about 9 branches scattered all around the metro, if I'm correct- this is their first one or at least their most famous one. The place is really big and can fit a lot of guests. I know because we had our Zomato Christmas Party in here. The servers were very accommodating, they are so willing to assist you and they give you what you need right away. It was really a great night for all of us who went there that night.
It has been two years since my last visit to a Tong Yang branch, and that was the one in Megamall. I couldn't really remember much from that visit. I most likely didn't have a wonderful time, because if I did, I would definitely recall how it went and would have had a second or third visit by now.
Tong Yang used to rule the Shabu Shabu and Grill game even before other restaurant players came into the picture, and there seems to be a renewed interest at Tong Yang with the soon to open Tong Yang Plus and a slew of other branches to open soon around the Metro. Nothing much has changed, but with a little bit of creativity on your part, you can make a delicious meal with the variety of sauces and condiments at your disposal. The oyster with a dab of butter was just glorious! My foodie friends Charlsdain Paul Martin Reyes and Audrey S See seem to be adapt in cooking, good thing i got to sit with them.
Service was quick, choices are varied but make sure to order before hand, some items go by very fast. Good thing they now offer unlimited refills of drinks and dessert.
Exhaust is dismal, a word of warning. I smell deliciousness on my way home. China

We went here before 11AM so we can enjoy the allotted 3 hours maximum in dining here. This is my first time eating in a shabu shabu plus grill restaurant and I must say that I’m really delighted. Tong yang offers quite range of shabu shabu and grill choices which you can see in the photos. They also have a sushi bar, veggies, desserts (fruits and brownies), scoop ice cream, an area for their sauces, dimsum, siopao, noodles and fried rice. The staff asked us first what soup we want and we chose sinigang and their clear original best selling soup. The soup is provided within a minute and the area for grilling was setup in no time. We didn’t have rice to taste all the barbecues and shabu shabu. I’m very full that I didn’t eat my dinner and my company didn’t have the chance to have his dessert. I was delighted to have their thin sliced beef. the flavor isn’t strong but it’s very umami. I love it! Worth the money (545php) for all the beef, pork, seafood and dessert. Will be back here to treat my family!
