Kopi Roti Katipunan is the best for me. All staffs are generous and very friendly. My favorite staff is the handsome gay counter. Ang galing mag accomodate at mag prmote ng mga foods nila. Kahit pasara na sila they still accomodate us. Salute to your staff bihira ang staff na mag sasara na eh mag aacomodate pa kahit pagod na pagod na sila. 5 stars for me KEEP IT UP

Excellent place to while the time away or meet friends. The only place to satisfy my craving for Singaporean style breakfast.

Our go to place since college. Always the same taste. Even our 2yo old son enjoys it. He eats their kaya toast and shares with our siomai. We always order their kaya and kopi bun sets with kopi and tea and soft boiled eggs 🀀 Now they have meals like hainanese chicken rice, sambal kangkong, laksa and a few more.

There was a time that I would go and indulge in Kopi Roti's French Toast with Soft-Boiled Egg or my favorite, Kopi Bun with the classic Kopi with milk. Then, I just stopped going to their Tomas Morato branch. That was a couple of years back when the coffee craze wasn't in full-swing yet. And now, we (my group and I) started craving for the "old" coffee. Old meaning... when coffee was coffee. None of that artisan shit. None of that gourmet pretense. None of that first, second and third wave coffee bull.

Honestly? I stopped drinking coffee. It was a recent decision (for many reasons) that raised a few of my good friends' eyebrows. It wasn't easy at first but tea is not a bad alternative. And I have also developed a new liking for some juices, smoothies and the like.

One day I went back to the Blue Ridge branch looking for something to take after a heavy lunch in Megamall. I was planning a Kopi Bun but changed my mind when I saw in the menu the Iced Barley. Got curious and ordered it. It was on the light and bland side but it was refreshing nonetheless.

Will I order it again? No. It was too light. And too bland. It was like drowning white rice in ice. I don't eat white rice in the first place. So, on to other items in the menu.

I love everything about Kopi Roti! I hope you improve the ambiance of the shop but overall, I would always be a fan of your coffee bun and kaya toast! πŸ‘

We craved for sweets and kopi roti is a coffee pastry shop that is open until late night. They also now have rice toppings from Little Red Dot.
For our second visit, we had our breakfast here. It was so fun. We tried the siewmai and it was really good.

Unica hija and I discovered our first Kopi Roti coffee bun in SM Megamall. I remembered how plain looking the bun was and how strongly it smelled of coffee.

It became an instant favorite of ours. It was huge, sweet and delicious.

Fast forward to today. Unica hija was craving for that yummy bun. Good thing there was one along the way. Wonderfully surprised that they are already serving savory items too in this branch. They had wifi as well.

My ultimate Katip extension go-to, for good reason: it's open til late, they have great drinks (teh tarik ❀️), and food. There's nothing like buttery Kaya toast with hot kopi, or the classic Kopi bun that tastes the same way after all this years. Their siewmai is also surprisingly good! One of the best.

You can cross-order with Little Red Dot if you're looking for heavier Singaporean fare. Their laksa is excellent and great for sharing.

Only requests: more indoor seating, plugs and functioning wi-fi (would've been a good study place if they have these), and maybe better lighting? The yellow cast doesn't give their food justice.

Kopi Roti's Kopi Bun will always have a place in my heart. I remember having it for the first time as a college freshman. I got mindblown by the big round toasted bun that had this fluffy buttery bread inside. These days I still crave it once in a while, although sometimes they don't serve the breads as hot anymore. It still tastes the same more or less. The coffee I they serve is still decent and the place is a good alternative to the usual coffee shop chain you find in every corner.

Kopi Roti has the authentic Kopi Buns and Kaya Toast, just like in Singapore. Their buns and kaya toast is best serve w/ their beloved soft-boiled egg. It never gets old!

We arrived 1215AM. Thankfully, they were still open. The kopi jelly was really good! 😍 quite sweet but the coffee tasted great. Along with the kopi bun that had like butter in; plus the siewmai (weirdly spelled) oh it was an unexpected experience. As how you'd expect it to be so-so especially at the time we arrived, it was such a surprise. We're definitely going back. Too bad we didn't try this place out sooner. Thumbs up!

Kopi Roti's ice blended beverages is just in time for the very hot weather this summer. Refreshing but I would still prefer the their traditional coffee and tea.

Best milo dinosaur in manila! *bakitwalangdinosauremoji*

I used to love their kaya toast, but the one they have now is less sweet. I would've preferred the old recipe. Still, Kopi roti a good place to get these in manila next to toast box and ya kun kaya.

For those who are not familiar with kaya, it is a jam made with coconut, eggs, and butter. It is similar to our coco jam, only a lot less sweet.

The pork siomai is ordinary; cheaper, but practically the same anywhere else.

I didnt like the french toast at all. It was just soggy fried bread with a spoonful if kaya and butter in the side. No flavour whatsoever. This i wont order again.

I also think they have really good coffee buns. Sadly, they didnt have this available at that time.

If you ever find yourself driving by the area,, stop and try their milo dinosaur, kaya toast, and coffee buns β˜•οΈπŸž

I'm not a fan of mocha but that roti bun made me a believer. It was very light and had a nice coffee flavor. Everything else was good too but I have my eyes set on the Kopi Bun and I have been coming back here just for that.

I was a little disappointed and surprised that their soft-boiled eggs weren't ready then. I guess I've always assumed that soft-boiled eggs would be sold much earlier (especially during breakfast).

The inside of this place is not quite big but finding a spot to enjoy your treats is never going to be an issue. There is plenty of room outside with tables and chairs set up all over the place. Great place to stop for a delicious treat or drink!

One need not fly to Singapore to enjoy Kaya Toast. Just take a trip to Kopi Roti, where they serve not only this popular snack, but also their signature Kopi Bun - soft, coffee-flavored bun with a sweet, buttery filling. Best dipped into a cup of Kopi or tea.

Between the bun and the toast, I prefer having the Kaya Toast more. If you like eating bread with coco jam, then, this will be a hit for you. The crustless bread itself is toasted equally well. The butter inside managed to blend with the taste of Kaya Jam, without overpowering each other. It gives me a walk down to memory lane as I remember my lola making bread with coco jam for me when I was young.

Kopi Roti (blue ridge branch) came to a point when it has gotten so ugly and the toilet was really nasty. Thanks heavens they renovated this place!

A little quiet time at Kopi Roti

I was amazed by the quaint simplicity of this place. It's a quiet little nook inviting you to snuggle with a good book over toast and coffee. We once stopped by here to rest and recharge over a cup of hot coffee and some bread. It was close to midnight so the place was not so busy anymore.

Upon entering, the smell of brewed coffee and tea immediately greeted us. There was a faint scent of butter and sugar wafting in the air. The interiors looked vaguely like an art gallery; the patterned Terra Cotta floor tiles adding more to the artistic vibe. It was like an oasis amidst the busy Katipunan Avenue. Immediately, I knew that we came to the right place.

One of my favorite hang out places in the metro, not for it's location but for it's best tasting coffee and special kaya(coconut spread)

Food- 4.5/5.0 - taste their coffee to see the difference , singaporean strong coffee paired with kaya toast . Kaya toast is buttery toasted bread with kaya filling. Try their set menus. They also have new kopi bun burgers.

Ambiance/location 4.0/5.0 good place to chill and cozy. They have parking space and smoking area.

Service 3.5/5.0 - average service.

This kopi roti is my favorite cafe since i was in high school . One of the first small coffee shops in the philippines, so sad that they closed their greenbelt branch.

Coming from a fundraising run in Camp Crame, we proceeded here for breakfast. This is probably one of the bigger Kopi Rotis in town. The cozy country feel is very nice. There is an airconditioned and outdoor dining area. Don't expect much on the menu. They only serve their specialty buns, toasts, coffee, and tea. Light meals that are ideal for breakfast and snacks. A favorite combination is a hot cup of Kopi C, roti kaya toast (toasted thin bread with butter and condensed milk filling), and the soft boiled eggs (you can eat it as it is like having a soup or stir the eggs and dip your kaya and bun in small pieces). We also ordered their signature bread Kopi bun and choco bun. Cost is easy on the pocket. Filling meal. Food served freshly cooked. Quick service.

We placed our order for hot coffee and kaya toast. I ordered Kopi 'O and "Roti" Kaya Toast. When we got our orders, we headed outside for a breath of air. We were greeted by a large open space with metal chairs and tables and huge umbrellas. We went to a comfortable spot to enjoy our midnight fill. The coffee was good and intense, a bit bitter which I like. The Roti Kaya Toast is sweet, the taste reminds me of my favorite coco jam. It goes really well with the strong coffee.

An hour after, we were headed home but the great experience in Kopi Roti is something that is worth keeping. I'd like to definitely come back here when I have the time. For less than P150 per person, it's definitely worth visiting regularly.

Updated Review:

Kopi Roti recently had a facelift and the best thing about it for me is their Certified Angus Beef Burger and their Chicken Satay Burger. I had my doubts at first since I didn't think that their Coffee Bun and cooked meat would go great together and I was never happy to be wrong. Now every time I think of Kopi Roti, I crave for their burger.Β

The renovated place looks good too and I think they're definitely bringing in more people because of it. Before it'd just be me and the BF and maybe a few other people but now there's a lot.Β

Prices are still the same and it's easy on the budget!

When you're in Kopiroti and you think it's me, don't be shy, come up and say hi! I love meeting foodies and fellow bloggers.

Check out my blog (link's waaaaay down there) for new content, reviews and of course, pictures! Let me know what you think and connect with me on any of the social media platforms on there.

Old review:
The reason why I always go to Kopi Roti is that it feels like home. When you just want to go out for a bit and have a cup of coffee that tastes like it's home made, that's how it feels for me and my friends. It took some time for me to warm up to the taste of their goods, but now I crave it from time to time. Gloomy days are perfect Kopi Roti days because it doesn't feel like it's commercial like most of the coffee shops we have now and you'd have some sort of peace while you're there.

I usually order their Iced Coffee and Milo Dinosaur. I love it. I do have one problem though: the cup size. I just wish they'd offer the usual Small Medium Large sizes because the one they have now is too little for me since I tend to drink a lot in one sitting.

They are currently expanding their Katipunan branch and will be serving food soon. Can't wait for that!

Happy Eating! :)

The reason why I go back to Kopi Roti because I love their Kopi Bun so much. I also like their Chocolate Bun but between the two, Kopi Bun remains the top of my list.

I bought 6 pieces of Kopi Bun for take-out and decided to try something else since I'm there already. I was curious about their Blueberry Peanut Butter Toast. I have a feeling that this bread would be really sweet and....I was right.

It was good but a little bit too sweet for me. I'm glad that my friend agreed to share the toast with me because I could not finish it.

The Peanut Butter was good but can be overwhelming. I guess it will always be Kopi Bun for me then.
