Kopi Roti Katipunan is the best for me. All staffs are generous and very friendly. My favorite staff is the handsome gay counter. Ang galing mag accomodate at mag prmote ng mga foods nila. Kahit pasara na sila they still accomodate us. Salute to your staff bihira ang staff na mag sasara na eh mag aacomodate pa kahit pagod na pagod na sila. 5 stars for me KEEP IT UP
Excellent place to while the time away or meet friends. The only place to satisfy my craving for Singaporean style breakfast.
Our go to place since college. Always the same taste. Even our 2yo old son enjoys it. He eats their kaya toast and shares with our siomai. We always order their kaya and kopi bun sets with kopi and tea and soft boiled eggs π€€ Now they have meals like hainanese chicken rice, sambal kangkong, laksa and a few more.
There was a time that I would go and indulge in Kopi Roti's French Toast with Soft-Boiled Egg or my favorite, Kopi Bun with the classic Kopi with milk. Then, I just stopped going to their Tomas Morato branch. That was a couple of years back when the coffee craze wasn't in full-swing yet. And now, we (my group and I) started craving for the "old" coffee. Old meaning... when coffee was coffee. None of that artisan shit. None of that gourmet pretense. None of that first, second and third wave coffee bull.
Honestly? I stopped drinking coffee. It was a recent decision (for many reasons) that raised a few of my good friends' eyebrows. It wasn't easy at first but tea is not a bad alternative. And I have also developed a new liking for some juices, smoothies and the like.
One day I went back to the Blue Ridge branch looking for something to take after a heavy lunch in Megamall. I was planning a Kopi Bun but changed my mind when I saw in the menu the Iced Barley. Got curious and ordered it. It was on the light and bland side but it was refreshing nonetheless.
Will I order it again? No. It was too light. And too bland. It was like drowning white rice in ice. I don't eat white rice in the first place. So, on to other items in the menu.
I love everything about Kopi Roti! I hope you improve the ambiance of the shop but overall, I would always be a fan of your coffee bun and kaya toast! π
We craved for sweets and kopi roti is a coffee pastry shop that is open until late night. They also now have rice toppings from Little Red Dot.
For our second visit, we had our breakfast here. It was so fun. We tried the siewmai and it was really good.
Feast meter:
πππ KR Dinosaur - not so good
ππππ Kaya toast - yummy!
ππππ Choco milk toast - not okay if for take out
πππ Kopi bun - not so good
πππππ Siewmai - yummy, put chili
πππππ Kaya cheese toast with eggs - good for two
Unica hija and I discovered our first Kopi Roti coffee bun in SM Megamall. I remembered how plain looking the bun was and how strongly it smelled of coffee.
It became an instant favorite of ours. It was huge, sweet and delicious.
Fast forward to today. Unica hija was craving for that yummy bun. Good thing there was one along the way. Wonderfully surprised that they are already serving savory items too in this branch. They had wifi as well.
My ultimate Katip extension go-to, for good reason: it's open til late, they have great drinks (teh tarik β€οΈ), and food. There's nothing like buttery Kaya toast with hot kopi, or the classic Kopi bun that tastes the same way after all this years. Their siewmai is also surprisingly good! One of the best.
You can cross-order with Little Red Dot if you're looking for heavier Singaporean fare. Their laksa is excellent and great for sharing.
Only requests: more indoor seating, plugs and functioning wi-fi (would've been a good study place if they have these), and maybe better lighting? The yellow cast doesn't give their food justice.

Kopi Roti's Kopi Bun will always have a place in my heart. I remember having it for the first time as a college freshman. I got mindblown by the big round toasted bun that had this fluffy buttery bread inside. These days I still crave it once in a while, although sometimes they don't serve the breads as hot anymore. It still tastes the same more or less. The coffee I they serve is still decent and the place is a good alternative to the usual coffee shop chain you find in every corner.
My favorite place! I will never get sawa of your coffee buns!!! It's perfect with coffee or hot chocolate. It's so delicious!!! I go here once a week!
Kopi Roti has the authentic Kopi Buns and Kaya Toast, just like in Singapore. Their buns and kaya toast is best serve w/ their beloved soft-boiled egg. It never gets old!

We arrived 1215AM. Thankfully, they were still open. The kopi jelly was really good! π quite sweet but the coffee tasted great. Along with the kopi bun that had like butter in; plus the siewmai (weirdly spelled) oh it was an unexpected experience. As how you'd expect it to be so-so especially at the time we arrived, it was such a surprise. We're definitely going back. Too bad we didn't try this place out sooner. Thumbs up!
