Food: (4 out of 5)One of the best Japanese Restaurant you can ever dine-in here in the Metro. You should try the Cheesy Gyoza and their California Maki. The Gyuniku Ramen is a stand-out and the Pork Tonkatsu is great.
Service: (3.5 out of 5)
The service is fast but got dissapointed with one of the staff who said side comments after we requested to transfer to other table
Ambiance: (4 out pf 5)
The place is very clean and has a quiet vibe.

We attended our second round of mediation with DTI for the PowerMac incident. Since the meeting lasted well into the early evening, we anticipated that there would not be any Grab and Uber available during that time. We strolled to Glorietta and had our stomachs set for a meal in Teriyaki Boy. We ordered Gyuniku Ramen (Php245) and Teriyaki Boy Chicken (PHp320), shared with an order of Gohan. We loved how the broth of the ramen was really tasty; the chicken absolutely complementing it.
My partner and I decided to eat here because he was craving gyoza. I had eaten at Teriyaki boy before but it was my first time in this banch. We ordered gyoza, spicy maki roll, and tonkatsu. The food were very tasty. I enjoyed the gyoza and the maki roll the most. The umami lingered on my tastebuds after each bite. Service was also exceptional that I was actually suprised not to see service charge on the bill.
Finally, a Japanese restaurant that offers sushi rolls for a reasonable price!
Usually, sushi rolls cost 250 and above, never less. So I am happy to see that Teriyaki Boy offers them below 200! I am also shookt to finally find a Spicy Tuna Salad (Tuna Tartare) similar to Kikufuji!! And again, less than 200!
Thank you Teriyaki Boy for satisfying our cravings without asking too much from us.
Must Try: Dynamite Roll, Tuna Tartare
Ramen was okay, but not my taste. Too eggy 😋
Babalik at babalik!
Went on a monday night, only 3 other tables taken. Ordered:
Terriyaki chicken - i remember this being much softer before, but it's still okay. The sauce is still good and their japanese rice is the best!
Tempura - this was very affordable for 5 pcs. The shrimp was decent. It just had too much breading for me, but some people like that.
Will return when i'm craving japanese on a budget. Paid about P700 for party of 2!
It's Sunday once again and time to pig out.
Revisited Teriyaki Boy. I know its an " old" restaurant relative to other japanese restos that abound in the metropolis. Its been years and kudos to their stsying power
Char siu Ramen : . Clearly this is not the restaurant's specialty.
Chicken Teriyaki Dotonburi : All time favorite. Still good after all
These years
Dynamite roll: Although the presentation looks anemic, it tasted good. Pwede na.
Tempura: Batter os thick and I can taste the oil
We love Teriyaki Boy! The Tuna Tempura Tartar is highly recommended. We've also tried most of the sushi. The service is always great, waiting time doesn't take too long. This branch is kinda tight on space but it's always clean and welcoming. Spending around P800 for two will leave you very full!
First time to try teriyaki boy at glorietta and it is fine. The salad is good and also the katsudon. It is also my first time to try ramen here and it taste fine. I recommend you to try the gyoza here. The service is a little bit slow but the crews are so nice.
It has been a while since we ate at Teriyaki Boy because we felt that for some time, the quality of food deteriorated. But we noticed that the Glorietta branch was renovated so decided to give it one more shot. The husband had a plate of Chicken Teriyaki, Wafu Fried Rice and Tuna Sashimi Tartare, while I had the Teriyaki Boy Chicken Bento (which came with a Miso Soup and Iced Tea). The bento box was actually quite huge, and the food wasn't bad! Teriyaki Boy is just right if you want a simple, reasonably priced Japanese meal.
I've seen this resto for quite some time but never really tried it before. There's always a first time right? We weren't really hungry that much so we requested our ramen to be served in 2 separate bowls. Plus, boiled eggs! Sarap! Though, if I consider the price, i wouldn't have eaten in this restaurant because I can have the same taste with other resto that offer that ramen at a reasonable price. I'll have to think about if I want to visit it again.

we celebrated my friend's birthday here last year since this our favorite Japanese restaurant..we had all our favorites: Kani Salad for starters, Tempura, Yakimeshi, Crispy Kani Maki & Katsudon for our main..it was a birthday to remember..
I always order California Roll and Gyoza for starters and Teriyaki Boy Chicken Bento for main dish. You can also go for ChasucRamen Soyu. 👌👌👌
Still my favorite Japanese restaurant. Even if it's a bit pricey, Teriyaki Boy is actually already affordable compared to other Japanese restaurants considering the quality of their food, which is very good. This particular branch has an ambiance that is very relaxing. If you haven't tried their Philadelphia Cheese Steak Rolls yet you're missing out on a lot. It is something I crave every now and then. Their Teriyaki chicken with Yakimeshi rice is a classic, and the rest, like the Tonkatsu and the Tempura, are never disappointing. In short, I will always end up coming back to Teriyaki Boy.
Located across from Landmark department store, still a great place if you are craving Japanese food. They have a wide selection to choose from. Staff was helpful with the restaurant's promo and menu items. The food took a while to be served, but then again, this is not "fast food".
I had one of their new bento dishes, the Teishoku chicken meal. It already comes complete with a drink, single served iced tea and miso soup. Sorry, guys, nothing is refillable in this set meal. The chicken was grilled and it was moist and flavorful, with that smoky goodness and slightly crispy skin. Served atop steamed rice, donburi style. Other items in the set meal includes 4 pieces of california maki, a bowl of miso soup, and cucumber and kani salad. The maki was just ok, the miso soup was also good but has no meat bits just lots of seaweed and a few tofu dices. It wasn't piping hot when it was served, but then again, it's somewhat acceptable. Love the cucumber and kani salad with creamy mayo dressing.
Though the food was delicious and serving size was also just the right amount, I find it slightly overpriced comparing it with the other japanese restaurants in the metro. I also ordered philly cheese steak maki for my take out and it seemed to took forever before it was done. Though food and service is already good, I think they should lower the prices a bit and speed a bit up the cooking/ serving time.
I was so hungry that I failed to take photos so I'm only posting one. But sure enough that I'll be going back to that place again since I liked the food that I ordered that time (and I'll take more photos). I hope other foods that they offer are as good as this maki. I was kind of surprised because their interior looks like a restaurant that would not serve foods lower than Php 500. In short, it looked expensive, but it wasn't. I definitely got my value for money. :)

Good for people on the go. They serve fast maybe because they knoe their costumer are those has very little time for lunch break. The place although small but relaxing.
I looove teriyaki boy! Every food was worth their price. I'm a fan of Japanese food. Their fried rice was really yummy. Everything we ordered was just heaven! Cali maki, fried rice, chicken, etc!
This Teriyaki Boy will surely give you seats during dinner time as it never gets full, most probably because of its kinda hidden location at the back of Glorietta area.
(Sorry for the low quality photos.)
Teriyaki boy has been my go-to place for affordable Japanese food before all the other specialty type japanese resto came to Manila.
I always, always, order their tamago sushi. Also a must try is their Teriyaki Boy Chicken. If you are not a big eater, their servings are quite good for 2.
I don't know why I often order too much whenever we dine here. I just need to have a little of of everything that I like here! I will always order philly cheese steak roll, gyoza, yasai itame, yakimeshi. And that's just what I like! (plus what my jowa likes). So I always ended up being scolded by him because he had no choice but to finish my meal.

This is Jap Resto is our fave. We love coming back. I enjoy the food, the ambience and the people. This is home to me when we talk japanese.
Probably one of the most loved Japanese Restaurant that truly captured the taste buds of Filipino is Teriyaki Boy. Who wouldn't anyway? From the wide variety of their menu down to the lip smacking foods they offer!
❤️ THE PLACE
They totally revamped the place. It was posh yet has the laid back feeling. I loved the wooden interiors that they have. Especially the Teriyaki Boy wood carving on their wall! :)
❤️ THE SERVICE
The service was great. One of the nicest servers I encountered. They always on their brightest smiles too! :)
❤️ THE FOOD and PRICE
Tempura Tuna Tartare (155 pesos) - Diced tuna sashimi with Japanese mayo and tempura flakes. If you love sashimi then, better include this on your list.
Sashimi Salad (299 pesos) - A crisp veggies with sesame soy dressing with cubes of Norwegian Salmon and Yellowfin Tuna. I also loved the crisp kani strips on top to give it more texture!
Okonomiyaki (88 pesos) - It's actually like the Takoyaki we can see in a mall, but in a classier way. This one was served as a pancake, with their special batter that has veggies and squid then drizzled off with Japanese Mayo and bonito flakes. This one is really addicting and I didn't expect I would get hooked on this one. Crispy on the outside yet soft and chunky on the inside!
Dragon Maki (399 pesos) - I honestly tried this because I was fascinated by the presentation on the menu. And it really looked so lovely! savory roll of breaded shrimp covered with sushi rice, topped with grilled eel and sprinkled with sesame seeds. Now you know it's not all about the appearance, the food will speak for itself!
Teriyaki Boy Chicken Maki (289 pesos) - The famous Teriyaki Boy Chicken is now in roll! 2 in 1 goodness to please our hungry appetite! The only challenge on this one is how will you eat this in one bite I'm telling you, it's really huge!
Chikuwa Fish Tempura (219 pesos) - I find this one actually a unique dish. Fish covered in a batter filled with cheese. The texture of the fish is not the usual tender fish, since this one is on the chewy side. Some didn't enjoy it like I do, but if you like the combination of fish and cheese, then go for this. Best to be eaten when it's hot to appreciate the gooey cheese in the middle.
Teriyaki Boy Chicken (214 pesos) - I'm sure even if I don't introduce this dish you are all familiar with this one. The best seller in the house! Tender and flavorful chicken with their rich savory sauce!
Gyu Don (314 pesos) - Thinly sliced beef stir-fried with special Teriyaki Boy sauce, topped with raw egg and sesame seeds, laid on a bed of steamed Japanese rice. I wasn't able to try this one but tell me, who can resist stir-fried beef anyway? hehe!
Wafu Steak (366 pesos) - Diced beef tossed in butter and garlic plus teppanyaki sauce served with sesame moyashi (bean sprouts)! I also loved this dish since I'm forever a fan of butter and garlic combination. Simple dish yet brings out the natural flavor of the steak. nom!
Beef Tataki (499 pesos) - Seared wafu steak on a bed of enoki mushroom. (You can never go wrong with enoki mushrooms!) Somewhat similar to the previous dish but this one was served with gorgeous mushrooms. You can also asked to cook the meat according to your preference. But better go for medium rare to enjoy the full flavors of the steak! :)
Mango Bavarian (79 pesos)* - A dessert that is in-between of pana cotta and gelatine. A creamy mango dessert with mango bits inside, topped with whipped cream and mango sauce. Really such a sweet ending! :)
Green Tea Jelly (69 pesos)* - Green Tea gelatin with whipped cream and adzuki beans. Try to eat altogether in one bite, it's actually good!
Mango Tempura with Vanilla Ice Cream (229 pesos) - Another unique offering in Teriyaki Boy. Mango slices that were coated in tempura batter, then drizzled with chocolate and vanilla ice cream. Fried Dessert, why not? :D
Green Tea Milk Shake (125 pesos) - Oh boy. I will never forget this drink. And take note, you might even wonder since I don't like green tea flavor foods/drinks at all. But this one is purely exceptional. If ever there's a green tea stuff that I will take, it will surely be this one. It has a creamy, milky texture on a mellow flavored green tea with bits of atzuki beans that is perfectly delicious when you mixed it!
❤️ THE VERDICT
Want some classic Japanese foods that surely satisfy your cravings? Then better go to the nearest Teriyaki Boy near you! :)
We ate at the Cash and Carry branch of Teriyaki Boy. They have a wide range of Japanese food. The one that stood out for me was the kani salad. It was one of the best kani salads I have ever tasted. Other than that, the bacon wrapped asparagus was really good too.
