Food is good. One of the only authentic Brazilian food. The feijoada was ok as long as you put together all the ingredients together. Interesting take on food as the especially like putting a lot of potatoes with a lot of taste. :) venue is nice but a little small especially since it gets crowded during Wednesday nights.

I think this is such a great find in Poblacion. :) it's near BBZ so it's easy to find because their colorful stairs give them away. :) when you enter the room is really nice with all these banderitas and colorful paintings. I have to say though that the music they play inside is pretty groovy. Haha. Seriously you can't help but jive to it.

We had the angus beef and it was good! They actually show you the meat on a skewer and ask you if you're already happy with how done the meat is before slicing it all way. It comes with this very delicious chimichurri sauce and tomato salsa. They are both very excellent. We had their cheese puffs for appetizers and they were soft and tasty. Their Romeo e Julieta dessert was so good! The cheesecake wasn't too sweet and the mangoes were so good. I love mangoes and back in Iloilo I used to eat a lot of mangoes from Guimaras. They taste like Guimaras mangoes. It was the perfect kind of sweet. I immediately fell in love with this place.

I always choose Japanese cuisine whenever I eat out. Just thinking about uni sashimi and sake aburi makes me smile like a lunatic. And I have to admit, Brazilian cuisine is something I wouldn’t consider to be in my top picks. However, one Thursday night changed it all.

Hello, Boteco Brasil.

R and I were lucky to get another message from Foodgrammer.ph who asked us if we could represent him in Boteco Brasil’s media night. We excitedly said yes but were clueless on what will be served to us that night. Nonetheless, just thinking about having the privilege to be one of the first foodies try a new restaurant’s dishes makes us giddy.

Wow - these guys have got it pretty well perfect. The BBQ meats are excellent and beautifully cooked. Go there hungry and enjoy. The sidings bar is well balanced and not overpowered by too many choices. Caipirinhas are spot on, could get into a lot of trouble with those. A really refreshing new resto which needs to be experienced especially if you are a meat lover.

This is by far the best Brazilian resto I've tried in the Metro. I'm not sure if there are other Brazilian-only restos now apart from this, but many of them have come and gone. We tried quite a number of their dishes and desserts, but in short, the beef skewers and maybe the feijoada stood out the most.

Prices are fair in my opinion, service is tops, and I will not hesitate to recommend this resto to anyone who loves good Brazilian fare. Also, I am not sure if they have a sort of partnership/agreement (or same owners?) with BBZ below them, but you may cross-order their great desserts from there. But then again, I believe Boteco's fare will be good enough.

It is one of the newest restaurants in the Poblacion area and it really caters to the Expat/Tourist crowd in the area. They offer the  the most authentic Brazilian food that they can bring to this country. We started of with some Coxinha Com Catupiry and  Pao de Queijo which are good appetizers that anyone must try. The Catupiry is close to what we have here as Empanada. The Stuffed cheese breads are also tasty and worth a try. Of course one would not leave without trying their speciality Feiojada. It's like bits and pieces of everything that one would enjoy. Their stew is meant for sharing  together with the other dishes that is included with it especially their  fried cassava  and fried banana fries. I would definitely be back especially on a Thursday night as the crowd is alive together with the good food they serve.

It was slightly nightmarish to get to the restaurant during rush hour as the traffic from BGC to Makati is getting worse and worse. Combine the crazy traffic with rainfall that proved forever’s existence, 5 kilometres would seem like miles away. Surprisingly though, we were still considered early birds when we arrived.

We were greeted by colorful stairs and wall art with the word Brasil which was like entering a wardrobe that transported us to Brazil instead of Narnia.

The restaurant has a few cocktail tables outside perfect for those who like to enjoy some alcohol while puffing some smokes. Since R and I are non-smokers, we went inside the air-conditioned area.
