The food is great. My go to spot at the Yard. Fish is fresh, there's variety to the menu, sauces are delicious and the staff is friendly, you just have to know how to communicate with them (like any normal, functional person of society would right?). Service is also really fast, I'm typically in and out of there within 5-10 minutes.
Not to mention, You get great value. Ono gives you a lot of fish per bowl (they don't skimp on the good stuff like in many other restaurants).
Would highly recommend the tuna aburi with miso and kani on the side. Keep up the good work guys!
Finally Ono Poke has come to makati!
its in a place called "the pantree" in dela rosa st.
Now i can have my weekly fix of hawaiian poke bowls!
One of my favorite quick and clean healthy meals!!
I appreciate dining moments wherein I get to eat cleaner food. Tonight I had Ono Poke’s fresh and healthy ingredients in a bowl.
Although this establishment offers curated combinations already, I got two orders of create your own Poke. I always liked the liberty to put together toppings on my meal.
Both the Tuna and Salmon Sashimis were served generously. Poke Poke, their competitor, gives these primary ingredients at minuscule amounts.
Pro tip. I suggest that you go for the Large Poke Bowls because the seafood is much more and you only add around Php 100.
Few options but generally good. Tried the different varieties (tuna, salmon and kani) and all tasted simple yet tasty. Quick fix for a quick lunch. They have white/brown rice or cabbage as base, or quinoa for a premium. You can alao have your poke as raw or torched.
No sitting area in this branch.
I got the Shoyu tuna poke with brown rice for lunch as take out. There wasn't any line despite the Pantree being jumpacked. I got my meal in about 5 minutes which was cool. The service size was alright, the tuna feels fresh too. I think Ono Poké is a great choice if you want something healthy that isn't a veggie salad.
Good tasting and very affordable pokè bowls! Had delivery too and they followed my half brown rice half cabbage request. Yay! Good food, good mood 😬
I really enjoy eating their Poke! Their service is really fast and the cashier's very nice. However, I don't like dining at The Pantree since it's too crowded for my sanity.
Ooh la la! This is a heavyweight contender for my Friday staple this season of Lent. I ordered for delivery and it was a breeze. Bernardo arrived at my gate exactly 35 minutes after the order was confirmed by The Pantree branch of Ono Poké.
I love sushi dynamite so I ordered their Spicy Tuna Crunch Bowl (P265). It had tuna sushi in bite-sized bits, nori (seaweed cut in strips), furikake (Japanese seasoning made of dried fish, seaweed, sesame seeds, sugar and salt to taste sprinkled over rice), tempura flakes (for the crunch), cucumber, green onion and spicy mayo sauce.
I specified brown rice for the heft and it did not disappoint.
If you love spicy food and are not sqeamish about raw fish, I would most certainly recommend this. Their tuna is fresh and comes from a good source. The packaging is compact yet delivers a straight punch. The flavors and textures are layered magnificently going with you from round-to-round. This is a knockout win for me.
Poke is somthing that I very rarely have as I much prefer chirashi bowls (dons) at Japanese restaurants, mainly because of the vinegared rice. Also, I love the freshness of the sashimi in chirashi dons--pure seafood taste with no masking add ons. Due to a sudden craving for poke, I decided to have some delivered to the office, using the Zomato delivery service from Ono Poke.
Since I am such a sucker for tempura flakes, it was a no brainer that I ordered a large Spicy Tuna Crunch Bowl with a side of Crazy Kani. After a few minutes of placing my order, Zomato called me and informed me that there was no stock for my Crazy Kani side, and said that the only side available was a Wasabi salad. I said I was okay with that, and wondered what exactly a wasabi was. Obviously, I heard wrong. When the ordered arrived with the written reciept, it read... Watame--which was some sort of seaweed salad.
First the salad. It was light and refreshing. There literally was a light crunch in every bite. The sesame seeds had great flavor. And I don't know if it was my mind playing tricks on me since originally it thought wasabi salad... I think I tasted some wasabi in it. Maybe a bit was tossed in 🤔.
The poke was delish! The tuna cubes were quite generous--almost as much serving as the rice. The spicy mayo coated them nicely, leaving a nice zing on my tongue. Tempura flakes had a great contrast of texture to the entire dish. The rice was fluffy. I must admit at the end, my tastebuds were searching for the vinegars. In the end, the container was prettt cleared from the last grain. 😋
Food: 5.0 - Delicious!
Price: 4.0 - Doable.
Service: 5.0 - I liked the communication of the restaurant to Zomato then to me with regards to food availability.
Ambience: - N/A
I think I will be ordering from them again in the near future. Maybe I should try their entire menu, one poke bowl at a time. 😊
Good food, quite expensive for the price though but ingredients used were fresh and healthy so I think you know where your money goes. Eating healthy nowadays equates to a hefty price, but I say this is kind of worth it. Kudos for being one of those eats who serves brown rice.👌🏻
Staff was very accommodating and the food was served fresh and just with the right taste. I enjoyed the spicy tuna poke bowl. Will definitely go back :)
