A few years ago, a close friend dragged me to eat pho at this place. I HATE silantro... to the core! Which is why I said my friend had to dragged me to eat here. I ordered their Saigon Pho and I was hooked. We also shared fresh spring roll and it was perfect with pho. The place was renovated since then but I never had a problem getting a table. This place definitely one of my favorite places to eat whenever I'm in Makati.
It's been a long time since we dined in a Vietnamese Restaurant and we're delighted with the experience. We love how healthy and fresh the dishes that have been served to us.
We tried the Beef and Beef Balls Noodle Soup, Fresh Spring Roll and Grilled Pork with Lemon Grass served with Tomato Rice.
This restaurant is true to it's name and we'll definitely comeback.
Wants to have ramen but doesn’t want the thick taste of broth? Then Pho it is! Eating a hot Pho with beef balls while raining outside is satisfying. It became my comfort food ever since I discovered it. For only Php270, your tummy will be filled with hot Viet noodle soup. Pair it with Fresh spring rolls or fried spring rolls, whatever suits you. But I prefer fried as the vinegar dip is tasty.

It was a decent pho, especially for its price range. Presentation of the rolls could have been better, but it tasted good. The service crew did their best to accommodate, but the place could get packed quick.
The traditional Vietnamese Chicken Pha is among the best at this restaurant. This compares equally to the Pho that I have had in Hanoi.
The Chicken broth is just right, the shredded chicken is tender and the chilli sauce adds the finishing flavours. The mint leaves when added to the soup gives it a delightful taste.
This cake is really vietnamese taste ❤. All fish souce is not good. Salad and noodle is normal, but rice is bad. I tried many foods here and just love this cake
PHO BAC
2nd flr, Glorietta 2
Was already tired from my day and also tired of window shopping, I always see this everyday but never ate in here. Everyday around 6pm I would see this place always full of people but I never wonder why, now I know.
Its around 1830 and man, the place is almost full, lucky enough there is still a vacant seat for me. I sat alone and my eyes wander around. Place is so small, very simple chairs and tables, not so much fancy decorations (sorry did not took pictures of the place), dripping aircon and i think a very small kitchen. Garnish is just placed outside, maybe for easy access. Lol.
Raised my hands twice for my order and came on the 3rd try, finally. Ordered just CHICKEN AND EGG NOODLE SOUP for myself for Php210. Cheaper than the other Pho restaurant with the same serving size. I would rate it as 4/5, i just hope that there is more chicken meat in it. The soup tasted so good and the garnish complimented the whole taste. I kinda like the refreshing touch of the fresh mung bean sprouts and the taste of the herb that came with it (i think its basil leaves). And by the way there is no egg, its egg noodles ahahah, noodles made with egg, LOL so tired to think hahaha...
One thing I would like to suggest is that they should cover the condiments, PLEASE! You'll never know when something's gonna land on it, zoooommm...
Would definitely come back to taste their beef...
After several days, I ate CHICKEN PHO ... haha
A tad more affordable than Pho Hoa and a good alternative to have Pho if you're getting bored with Pho Hoa. The waiting time will have to be longer here because the space is a bit small and the tables are almost always filled up.
I liked the stock of their Pho better than Pho Hoa! Great Pho find in the city.
Pho bac brings a quick and affordable Vietnamese food in Glorietta. The flavor they bring can be bland to some but the sauces they offer gives you freedom to customize the dish you are craving for.
#shallireturn to Pho Bac?

We went there at around 7:30PM but the place is nearly full since the place is just small. I think there are 10 tables inside PhoBac Glorietta. But one thing my partner and I noticed is that we can't hear any sound coming from the outside and it's a good thing. We ordered the food above and also tried to order my favorite fresh rolls but the waiter said it's already sold out. I was sad since I was craving for it. So, we were served with the food and had it in big bowls. I got to taste their beef ball noodles which is just the same as Phohoa. They served it along with calamansi and bean sprouts. I cannot review about the chicken egg noodles since I did not try it. But I'll try it next time. :)
