Ordered their Double Meat and Italian Papa Pizza. It was my first time to taste Papa John’s pizza. The dough was baked nicely. The pizza sauce (I think it was garlic butter) complements the pizza greatly. When we had leftovers, I actually tossed it into the pan and drizzled with olive oil and voila! The pizza tasted even better. 😅 That’s actually my trick whenever I have leftover pizzas since I couldn’t finish it in one sitting. 😂🙂
The calzones are really good. The tuna tropical pizza is a must. I love pineapples on pizza, so I'm biased haha! They shouldn't scrimp on the pizza sauce, though. The crab meat pasta is also good. I'm impressed!
BTW, this review is for the new Lagro branch in Quezon City.
I had a 14" All the Meats Speciality Pizza at P615 for delivery. It arrived hot and with the garlic butter sauce, pickled jalapeño, chili flakes and hot sauce without my requesting which I felt was a wonderful gesture.
We used to frequent the Greenhills branch beside OB Montessori when I fetched my youngest from there. This flavor was his favorite. It had a meat combination of pepperoni, beef bits, Italian sausage, bacon and ham. Their crust is my favorite among pizza fastfood chain hand-tossed variety. It is chewy like a proper crust and it maintains a good topping to crust ratio. One thing noticeable is that it is not oily unlike some known fastfood pizza shops. Overall, a good, delicious pizza.

Was a regular here when they have the 50% off Pizza. It's our Tuesday ritual. Super friendly and accommodating staff. Of course the pizza is awesome. Their pepperoni pizza is my daughter's fave. Mine's the garlic sauce. I dip almost everything on that heavenly sinful sauce.
Food sometimes good & sometimes so-so. I hope the buy 1 take 1 would come again... service is good, price is okay.. overall better than pizzahut.
On a regular basis whenever we are so tired of eating rice meals as our typical baons at work especially we mostly in graveyard shirt, our favorite to go to place is Papa John's havinh their pasta and pizza. Full review soon.
I have loved Papa Johns since I was 7 years old. Decades before “Papa” showed his true colors as one of the most dislikeable people on earth. I recently moved to Manila, but Whenever I came to Manila for work trips previously, I would order some pizza and eat it in my room, with extra garlic butter. So I was a little surprised a few weeks ago when I got a text message from Maricar on Papa Johns’ marketing team with a promo. The text came at 9:30 in the morning, which may have not sounded appealing to most, but pizza is my favorite breakfast. However I fought off the temptation. Fast forward to this week, I called Papas to order the SuperDuo (or something like that). For one of my pizzas, I wanted a cheese pizza, which wasn’t part of the deal. So I just asked for a meat pizza, without the meat. The call center pizza sales guy caught on to my “evil” scheme and wouldn’t let me do it. He wanted to charge me 160 pesos to take 3 ingredients off my pizza. I thought that was absurd because my vegetarian desires were saving them money. Honestly, I didn’t feel like Papa Johns was putting their client first. It was annoying. Then, I remembered Maricar! I called back, asked for her and it went great! I felt like I had my own pizza concierge. She was able to line me up with the promo that allowed all of my meatless dreams come true. Within 45 minutes I was eating delicious pizza with huge amounts of nutritious garlic butter.
We ordered the Super Papa and got it delivered to our hotel. This is my kind of pizza, not greasy at all! And the toppings complimented each other. The delivery man was also nice and polite.
I decided to try the 3some Thursday Promo of Papa John’s where you get a 12-inch pizza for just Php199. And if you get 3 of these, you get a free order of pasta platter worth Php297. Sounds good!
For my 3some, I ordered:
Cheesy Buffalo Pizza - it has so much cheese, buffalo sauce, pepperoni slices. This one did not get me as much as the other two that I ordered. But given its price, it’s all worth it.
Bacon Island Zest Pizza - slices of bacon, pineapple tidbits and a drizzling of dressing. For this one, the bacon serving is so generous that you will really taste the meat.
Double Meat Pizza - onions and tomatoes and pepperoni. This one is also a winner. So meaty but not overwhelming.
For our free pasta, I got the Crabmeat Pasta. It has hefty servings of shredded crabmeat, rich white sauce, and seasoned with a little spicy kick.
Bonus:
I also tried the Pepperoncini Dynamite. And this one sent me to spicy heaven. Bacon-wrapped pepperoncini stuffed with cheese sauce got me into a surprise as the freshly baked bacon went perfectly with the sour-ish juice of the pepperoncini and the oozing melted cheese. Not your usual dynamite using ladyfinger chili (siling haba) as the pepperoncini has a distinct spicy flavor. Gotta grab more of these!!!
Awesome pizza and very good in taste as base was soft and fresh all the vegetables we're fresh and Infact got 50%discount as Tuesday offer pizza lovers must visit
#Pepperonchini wrapped in a #bacon!! Soooo good!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The hotness of the #chili is perfectly balanced out by the well-loved meat and some sprinkling of #cheese on top and the cheese sauce sealed the deal perfectly!! . #papajohns #fiveoutoffive
It was Wednesday at 1am, good thing the Papa John's in Makati is open 24 hrs. Too bad we won't be able to avail the 50% off every Tuesday realizing that oo nga pala, Wednesday na hehe. Anyways, we ordered the all-meat pizza which is good - tasty and the bread is soft unlike other pizzas. We also ordered hickory bbq chicken wings and creamy pesto for P99 only - delish, big serving and affordable. Overall, we got satisfied and we will come back here. Also, great ambience and nice staff. :)

Best Papa John's branch in the Metro. Is it me or it's just that their pizza is way better than other branches? The store staff were as warm and inviting as the pizzas they serve. Thumbs up!

That Cheese Bacon Ranch Pizza is served hot and delectably good! Great marinade on their Chicken Buffalo wings dish. Good-tasting potato wedges too. Reasonable prices and very helpful staff.
ordered their buy one take one promo. Two 12 inch pizza's for 499 pesos. We choose the cheeseburger deluxe and the chicken barbecue flavor. Their pizza are so good, the crust is not too thin and there's no oil drippings in it. I like the pan pizza's that way, because some pan pizza are too oily and saggy. but thank you to the people who brought this chain to the Philippines.
With immense courage, I went here to satisfy my cravings for pasta. Ordered the Mediterranean Seafood Linguini. It tastes okay but not amazing though. Could have been better, I guess.
I tried out their buy one take one pizza though there's only a few flavors available. I tried their Cheesy Margherita and their John's Special. It was quite good though. Definitely would try to dine in here some time.
We're looking for a quick snack-place near my office and I must say, Papa John's Bel-Air branch is the perfect one!
We visited on a Thursday, around 6:30 PM. We were surprised that only three tables were occupied (including us). But I think it was on our favor since our orders arrived after 5 minutes!
Since we're only there for our later afternoon lunch, our orders were just onion rings and chicken and mushroom calzone.
I would not recommend the onion rings since it's batter that you're eating most of the time and you really can't taste the onions anymore. The calzone is a different story. It's so tasty and the serving size is pretty big for the prize of P175. Plus the dips and sauces are refillable too!
Will go back here to try their other menu items :)
P.S. I can't find my calzone photo :(
Pizza lovers wont be dissapointed. Good pizza, good service, & fast service time too. I love pizza & there are not alot of good pizza around but for Papa John's PH well done.
This is my all time favorite pizza place. Their food is good, and they are using fresh ingredients. Prices are very reasonable as well. Definitely worth trying for those who still haven't. Never forget the garlic butter dip! :)
Mom bought me a take out. I love the calzone but it's too oily and the pasta (ooooh super creamy!) Will come back for more pasta and calzone plus pizza of course!
The spicy italian pepperoni was an awesome pizza. This totally changed my perspective f this place. The combination of pepperoni and italian sausage is a great combo! The only thing that I can do without is the crushed red pepper. But that is only a minor thing.
Don't they serve pickled jalapeños during dine in's anymore?

After a super toxic duty at the hospital, I decided to eat at papa johns to destress, yes, to destress. Haha
We ordered a party size pizza (garden) just for the two of us and one order of seafood pasta. Pizza is always good at papa johns, pizza dough and toppings are always fresh as ever. Unexpectedly, I fell inlove with the pasta! There is something on it that my tongue is always looking for. :-)
Quality!
This is not a posh 5✴ fine dining restaurant, so let's manage our expectations. I get that 1 restaurant staff alone can ruin the entire experience, but let's face it, we are all humans and we all have our bad days at some point. Personally, I like to ask them if they are having a bad day and if they are OK. Which usually cheers cranky service staff up or at the very least makes them self aware. (Insert kindness quote here haha) But I am not here to lecture. So pardon the random rambling.
Back to the food;
Their promo deal is a steal! We are definitely no Hawaiian Pizza eaters (Ironic I know since I am part Hawaiian), but we don't mind this one. :)
For the price it's quite decent. It tastes clean. There is no mishmash of unrecognisable flavours. It's the basic Italian staple at a great price, and more authentic than some of the pizza chain places.
The Ghee is an incredibly clever touch and the jalapeño is perfect.
The dough is hand tossed and has the right chew to it.
The tomato sauce is sublime (not sweet or over seasoned)
Pizza's we love here;
Pepperoni
Hawaiian (yes I'm still in disbelieve as well)
Texas Heat
Others;
Cheesesticks (a mini pizza cut into strips - yumm!)
Flavoured Wings (try the Hickory BBQ!!!)
Crabmeat Pasta is a must try!
Papa Johns offer a great pizza with quality toppings. I have been ordering on Tuesdays for delivery as they offer an upgrade on the pizza size for free!
Be aware that this offer isn't on half and half pizzas which is a shame as I like a couple of different toppings.
Delivery is fast but check your pizza before the driver leaves as I have had they wrong pizza delivered and I didn't notice until he had gone. Thankfully they have great service and they let us keep the pizza and brought the correct one which meant the doormen in my building had dinner on us.
When we're to lazy to cook food for dinner, papa john's is always there to the rescue. You can never go wrong with their margherita pizza, three cheese pasta, potato wedges, and the ultimate bomb, the cheesesticks!!
Compared to other pizza restos, you'll know that papa john's pizzas are always made fresh! You can see it and you can taste the freshness! Quality before anything else --- that's Papa John's!
