The white parts is crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Yellow stuffing is good but a bit too sweet for my pallet. Over all its so good!
Stayed here to wait for my appointment. I ordered a half ceasar salad and bottomless lemonade. The ceasar is like any other ceasar salad but what makes it yummier is because of their croutons. I dont know if it was specially made or something but it leveled up their plain ceasar salad. Also, it has a generous amount of bacon bits and dressing, making sure that every bite will have bacon in it. The blue lemonade was just your ordinary lemonade but it’s blue.. lol
Outside, the place already stands out with its Western-style cafe looks - garden table and chairs, blue shades, and huge windows that reveal an interior that is cozy and comfy just like a home. Inside, customers can choose a sofa or a table and chair to dine in. Despite the heavy lighting, the place is relaxing and warm.
I tried their French Apple Tart and it was good, messy, and fun to eat. The first take on the tart is a trouble due to its hard crumbs. Pieces fell to my plate the I break the cover. Despite the difficulty it was fun. Once through, the apples have the right sweetness and complements well with the slightly salty crumbs.
Their carrot cupcake is also enjoyable. The cream was not sweet, but aims to give a soft texture to compliment the carrot cupcake. The cupcake itself is a perfect balance of notes of carrot, luscious pieces of raisins, and crunchiness of walnuts.
Overall, Mom & Tina's live up to my expectations. They do not just have a unique appearance, but also good food, especially their pastries. A paradise for those with sweet tooth.
