My boyfriend and I looove their chicken and rice, but we definitely regret ordering the truffle queso quesadilla. It was so dry and without the sauces served with our chicken, we wouldn't be able to finish the quesadilla. The staff weren't very accommodating, too. My boyfriend had to walk up to the counter just so we can have water. We'd probably still go back for the spicy chicken and all that sauce, but I hope for a friendlier staff when we do return.
First time eating here but my mom and I loved the food so much that we'll definitely come back! Prices are worth it too given the quality of the food and drinks that you get.
Gringo is my go-to place when I want to indulge myself without spending too much. It’s one of the best places in Legazpi Village, with affordable Mexican options.
We ordered the platter that they had for Christmas. It had spare ribs, roasted chicken, soft tacos, roasted pork, rice, and nachos. It’s perfect. The meats were the right kind of tender. I didn’t like the fish tacos though because I thought it was chicken and I was misled hehe. But overall, it was a good meal. The staff were attentive to our needs as well. Will definitely dine here again (because it’s my favorite place in Makati).
Ambiance is great! All the crew rlare smiling and very accommodating. Good food for a good price! I really love the baby back ribs and roasted chicken. Rice is also superb! I will definitely go back!
We were around a group of 9 pax. The servers didn't miss a beat in our orders. They even went out of their way with our requests (diving the burritos in half, etc etc, to make it more sharable) Serving size is good for groups. We didn't have a hard time sharing food with each other.

Pardon for the photos since we were so hungry and forgot to take initial pictures. 😅 We went there on a late dinner. Place was packed of young professionals on a night out. So I really appreciate that the servers were so attentive with our orders. We enjoyed the ribs and shrimp. The salad was really good! We're so going back for sure. 😉
Always crowded, and there's always a queue on lunch time. The food is good tho, but i find it a bit expensive. We like the Mexican Rice, Potato Salad and the Chicken.
Would probably go back when there's less people here. It's really packed everytime and slow service.

This is my first time eating in Gringo, Makati branch. The Gringo Original Chicken is surprisingly tasty. The Mexican Rice is also good but a bit dry. I loved the Mashed Camote.
We ended up going here for a late night light chow and were pleasantly surprised. We just ordered chicken quesadilla, a latino salpicao taco, and a side order of fries. It all looked very plain and sad but when started digging in, it actually tasted good! We wiped out our plates and even ended up getting another side of fries. The restaurant is big and less than half of the tables were occupied but there were already a lot of people. Despite the crowd, the staff were very attentive and quick to cater to requests. We intend to come back at a proper time and try more food, especially the chicken and nachos!
