Everything we ordered was good! A really big fan of their spicy tuna. The double cheese tsukemen was tasty but not really something that I would order again. The matcha ice cream was a downer though.
I personally think the resto should have 3-star rating but service was a factor, earning it 4-stars
The ambiance is reminiscent of old Manila streets, but perhaps tries to portray Japanese street to give a street food vibe. They even put a faux ramen stand and there they display some small bites for take out.
Food s good, I had a spicy Kara tonkotsu, I forgot th le name. Quite filling, the broth is rich and satisfying. However for what its worth, I think the medium sized bowl I ordered is overpriced. It only has one piece of chasu, two pieces of fish cake, and a tiny nori.
Pepper chicken is good but. Othing to write home about. Gyozan the other hand is filled with goodness!
Kudos to our server, Girlie, who introduced their dishes. However I've learned that their ramen is already available for take out! That's not fair, they're veering away from Japanese tradition as they'll be the only ramen chain/Japanese resto that will allow ramen for take out!
It’s bed (bad) weather and you had to run some errands in Makati -this is the place to be. It has cozy interiors that takes you to one of Japan’s Ramen Alley.
We got the Tonkotsu Miso Ramen with additional vegetables, Chicken Pepper Don and Gyoza.
The ramen and gyoza was superb! The kind of gyoza that I’ll be craving for. However, their chicken pepper don was a little bit too peppery for my taste.
I’ll be back to try more of their dishes. Great ambiance, good food and excellent service!
Had my favorite double cheese tsukemen (hot noodles) with their cold house tea, gyoza, and spicy tuna. I haven’t visited for a while, but I’m glad to see that the quality of the food hasn’t changed at all. The food was great, and the servers were very attentive. Great ambiance plus the place is really spacious—perfect for get togethers with family and friends.
The double cheese tsukumen and its rich thick broth will always be my favorite. I also like the interiors because of its chill vibe and the place is also spacious.
The chicken karaage was not available when we went last Friday but I've been coming here since 2011 and the food is consistently good. Definitely coming back for more.
Went there today for lunch .. As always this place reminds me koizumi ramen anime.. I really love their tonkotsu ramen the broth is so thick and so yummy!
The ambiance feels like a you are really in Japan!
Love the tuna sashimi thing it really has the kick!
The service is good! Really enjoyed being here..
Tsukemen is my husband and son's fave here. Staff is always friendly and dependable. Pepper Chicken don and wanton plate are our family's favorite here, too.
Food is consistently good.
Best Tsukemen in town! Always considering this for cheat day cause the carbs and the cheese are just oh so worth it. Service is also superb and place looks really unique.
One of the best ramen places for you if you have a tight budget. I've already eaten here for a couple of times, and one of my faves is Hakata tonkotsu ramen (not the one attached lol). I'm not sure if they still make curry, but that one is a must-try.
I had Shoyu Ramen w/ Gyoza. Love that it’s easy on the pocket. Will come back for their specialty - Tsukemen! Loved the place, great ambiance! Great service, too!
This place is always consistent. When you want thick, flavorful broth with your ramen, this hits the spots. It’s great that you can choose bowl sizes depending on how hungry you are. The char siu while not the best looking, tastes great still. I always order their miso ramen, but all others are great as well. Not a fan of the cheeses but to each his own.
Their staff is very attentive, the place is always clean, and the big space allows them to accommodate a lot of people especially during the lunch rush on a weekday.
Can’t pass up this chance to rave about this place! Been looking for a ramen place that would blow my mind similar to when I was still eating pork.
This place rocks! Seriously loved my dry ramen order with a side of double cheese sauce and my son couldn’t stop eating his curry cheese tsukemen. Ambiance reminds me of old school japan with wooden furniture all around and old Japanese posters on the wall.
Service was excellent and I really appreciate their patience looking for the perfect bowl for me.
I will DEFINITELY be back and I’ve been raving about this place to my friends saying it’s worth braving the Makati traffic at any given time of day.
Great job, guys! See you again soon if not sooner 😊
Food - 5/5

Though they are marketed and more known for their Tsukemens, their Tantanmen is one of the best in the metro. This had been my regular order whenever i drop by their shop since their Tantanmen has been my comfort food. Taste though has been inconsistent recently every visit. Since im a regular of this menu, before the soup base was thick and flavorful the way we have like and fell inlove with it. But there are some visits that its diluted or watery than usual so it somehow tames the original flavor that I was used too. I still love it though for their unique tantanmen taste.
Recommendations: Tantanmen 🌟, Chicken Katsu Curry Rice (they used to have this in the menu but removed it a few months ago 😭), Pork Katsu Curry Rice, Chahan, Ebi Tempura
I was craving for ramen during lunch so I went here and booked a table 30mins before going. Felt like I actually went to Japan as most of the patrons were Japanese or at least foreigners. The places looks great. I would have taken more photos if the place weren’t so full of people enjoying their drinks.
Go here to change it up with your usual ramen experience. Order your Tsukemen!
Pro tip: Ask the staff the dillute your broth if you want to slurp on soup after finishing your noods.
Favorite place in Makati! Comfort food! Sobrang chill ng ambiance. Sobrang goodvibes. Mababait din staff! ❤️ Sarap ng gyoza! Steadg din ung price. hehe
This is one of our go-to places for late dinner. Their place is always clean, not noisy and they usually have ample parking spaces.
In terms of food, I will probably rate them as 3. Reasonably-priced with just the right serving. We usually order the spicy tuna, onigiri and gyoza for our appetizers. For our mains, I usually go for a shoyu ramen, while my boyfriend would go for the spicy ramen bowls. Though their food is not really wow, I am rating this restaurant for their consistent good service. Servers are very attentive, and they are prompt when responding to requests. It’s a big plus that it’s not crowded during late night, and I can eat my dinner in peace.
Loved the service, perfect ambience and their curry tsukemen was fantastic and filling. I hope they open a branch here in qc, too. I have been wanting to come back since.
Super amazed at their interior design. I felt very much transported into Japan upon entering this branch.
The Chef's Sets are great value for money at Php 320. It comes with Potato Salad, a choice of Yuzu Tsukemen or Ramen, and a choice of Gyoza Fried Rice or Curry Rice.
I highly recommend the Yuzu Tsukemen and the Curry Rice pairing. The noodle-dipping sauce was really tasty but expect the tsukemen noodles to be on the firmer side. Curry rice is a favorite even if there were only a few pieces of meat. Downside was that most of the meat were full pieces of fat. At first I had thought they were diced potato pieces.
Perfect on a rainy evening, tried their Oyakudon and Shoyu Ramen with Gyoza and fried rice. Just a little bland on their chicken tho, but with a great ambiance and smiling servers :)
Last Friday, my office best friend and I were craving for some Japanese. He decided to bring me to Mitsuyado Sei-Men located at Jupiter. He's been raving about this restaurant and I've been curious with what's so special about this place.
Basically, this resto is well known for their Tsukemen. Tsukemen stands for "cold noodles". He ordered spicy tsukemen, regular size. I like the fact how the cold noodles complemented the broth. It was definitely a different experience. But I don't think this ramen joint is something I will keep on looking for. I would still go for Mendokoro Ramenba. But do I still plan to go back? Absolutely! Been seeing reviews about the tsukemen with cheese :D
Love the spicy sashimi!! Their house tea’s also my favorite. Staff are very accommodating, so my dad and I really drive all the way to Makati to visit the place
We found this charming ramen place on Jupiter on a rainy night. Thick, hot ramen sounded extremely appealing, especially after we walked in and saw a sign that it was a House of Tsukemen! (Dipping ramen)
The interiors are absolutely charming and suggestive of outdoor dining in a rustic Japanese town. (I half expected the cast of Rurouni Kenshin to pop around the corner shouting for noodles.)
With our fairly modest appetites, a second visit will be in order to try more of the menu. The ramen menu is surprisingly extensive, with numerous varieties of tsukemen I hadn't seen on any menu up 'til then. We both enjoyed our orders of tan tan tsukemen and the curry cheese tsukemen. The addition of cheese is basically a Chiz-whiz-like sauce on the side, which you can pour onto your noodles. In my overexcitement, I poured a good portion of the sauce into my curry dipping sauce, and them proceeded to spoon about a third of that rich mix directly into my mouth. (In a word: umay; but that's my fault and not a reflection on the curry tsukemen!)
The ramen noodles were thick and chewy and quite good. By the way, they not only let you choose which size portion of noodles you want (small was more than enough for us!), but they also give you the option to order additional noodles.
Highly recommend their spicy tuna appetizer, which was very fresh and had great texture - tender tuna and crunchy bits.
Definitely worth another visit to try another of their unique ramen offerings!
After a tough pitch meeting, we headed to Mitsuyado Sei-men. The resto kinda looks like the restaurants I went to while I was in Tokyo. I easily get full when I eat noodles, so I split a curry cheese tsukumen with my officemate. The serving was good for two!! I really liked the Japanese curry and cheese combo and would recommend it too cheese fans. Hopefully they'll have a branch nearer to satisfy my cravings!
This restaurant really satisfied my tsukemen craving. Everything was still the same from my last visit and this will remain as my go-to place if I want a legit Japanese noodle dish.
#Shallireturn to Mitsuyado Sei-Men?
Best tsukemen in the metro. Love their cheese tsukemen (which can be an acquired taste). Great ambiance. Usually full on weeknights, starting 7PM. Best be there early.
The place has a really nice vibe inside, especially at night. Kind of like "near a Japanese bathhouse, but more hipster-y", but in a good way? Service is also pretty good; it didn't take us too long to receive our food, the staff are nice and knowledgeable about the menu, and our extra order of noodles came quickly.
I'm still in shock at how well the Cheese Tsukemen works. If you're going here, you probably already know what Tsukemen is, which might make it even more of a shock. The broth itself is good, and give you a solid intro to what one would normally expect from tsukemen. With the cheese, it tastes wonderfully rounded-out; the creaminess and slight nuttiness of the cheese contrast with the acidity of the broth, which I initially thought was slightly abrasive. Sure, a few subtle flavors of the broth were muted, but I'm fine with that considering the novelty and the unique gains.
The noodles themselves are thick, chewy and very good at holding the thick cheese sauce. They also fill you up quickly, which I'd say is a good thing.
Apart from that, the chashu pork melts in your mouth beautifully and almost makes you want to eat it by itself, or with rice. Gyoza and karaage are also pretty good, even if they don't stand out that much. Possibly since the Cheese Tsukemen made almost everything else look more ordinary. Overall, CheeseTsukemen/10.

The food here is always excellent. Tsukemen style is my favorite and as an added bonus they also have the Hokkaido style ramen I also like with the butter and corn. The ambiance of this branch is spot on and one of the best Japanese looking interior/design in the city.
Loooove the food here. Servers are also very attentive and efficient.
Try the Spicy Tuna, Char-Siu Plate, Spicy Miso Ramen and Gyoza. :) Tsukemen options are also a must-try.
So fat the food is great and I love the set up. As if you are really in a small village of japan. Hahaha. Price is ok so far for middle class citizen but not for all.
Will always order their double cheese tsukemen, my favorite! 😍 and i love their japanese sidestreet feels! gyoza and ramen is good as well!
First time to try the Tsukemen which I found to be odd since the noodles are separated from the broth/soup, but this restaurant did not fail me. Everything we ordered tastes authentic (though I do not really know what the taste of authentic is, never been to Japan... yet). The vibe of the place feels like you are in Japan as well. Kudos to the management!
This place has a great ambiance. It feels like taking you to the Rurouni Kenshin ErA. :)
The food is great me and my wife enjoyed the food here and we were satisfied.
We ordered 1 small Ajitama Tonkotsu Shoyu Ramen which my wife enjoyed as she slurped the rich broth ofcourse I tried her bowl... delicious! And I ordered their Set A menu which I opted for 1 Yuzu Tsukemen as I've always wanted to try the dipping noodles with 3 pcs. of Gyoza and half fried rice which doesn't look like half. It's a cup of rice from your regular fast food. I chose the warm tsukemen dipped it in the really nice and savory broth.. Really good!
Two thumbs up. We'll definitely go back. The staff are really nice and attentive.
Restaurant
They have a beautifully spacious interior with calming lights and ambient music. I like the layout of the tables and every corner makes me feel like I'm at Japan.
Service
They greet customers exactly like at Mendokoro Ramenba. Energy is the same and the one who took my order was knowledgeable about their menu. She also always offered refills.
Cheese Sauce Tsukemen
The prep time was 10-15 minutes. You basically pour the cheese over the noodles, then dunk them into the sweet and citrus dip before eating. Cheesy noodles straight to the mouth tastes funny if you take the dip like a chaser instead. Noodle texture was heavenly thick and chewy! I find this dish expensive but it's really good n' fun to try.
💕Date for Two: Chicken Teriyaki, Cheese Tsukemen

Overall: The Cheese Tsukemen at the House of Tsukemen definitely does not disappoint. It’s a unique take on the usual ramen craze everyone’s hyped about. Tsukemen (Dipping Noodles), from the name itself, is a blessing from the heavens. And Mitsuyado’s Cheese Tsukemen is the most special gift from above. The broth is just so tasty and the noodles slathered in cheese are perfect for dipping. You may actually order an extra noodle as the broth is so concentrated you might want to have some more to dip. Ambiance is superb as it doesn’t feel like your in the Philippines. Entering the resto will take you to a Naruto-streets vibe. Staffs are very nice and approachable too. Will definitely come back, again.
Value for money: A bit pricey but given the ambiance and serving size, it’s all good.

Mitsuyado did not fail me for my first tsukemen experience. The ambiance was nice and very Japanese.
We were served first with our Spicy Tuna order and OMG this is so delicious and they serve it with a generous amount of raw tuna chunks. We were not expecting it to be that tasty. Next we have our gyoza, this is also a thumbs up for us. Lastly, we were served with our tsukemen. I ordered the Regular Double Cheese Tsukemen (who doesn't love cheese?) and my boyfriend ordered their Large Cheese Curry Tsukemen. We were WOW-ed with the amount of the food and the taste is perefectly blended.
We enjoyed every calorie of what we ate here.
Overall, what I really enjoyed is their SPICY TUNA. It was really tasty and delicious. 🖒
Take outs? Yes.
Service Water? None. You can either choose between cold or hot tea ONLY. Their tea is good not like other Japanese restaurants.

It was a quick catch up with some friends to also catch up on each other's lives and try to get things started for our next Boracay festival. We were supposed to eat at Nomad's but it does not open until 9PM so we settled at Mitsuyado Sei-Men a block away. The boyfie remembered that this is the same resto we recently dined in at McKinley and that was not a really good experience. Checking Zomato, though, there was a considerable difference in the ratings of both branches. This one in Bel-Air has a more authentic Jap feel in terms of the interior. As the boyfie and I were already quite hungry, we decided to order ahead of the friends we were waiting for. I wanted something I haven't tried before so I opted for the "dipping noodles" Karashi Shukemen (Regular) (Php290) which goes well with additional Cheese Sauce (Php80). My boyfie opted for a "safer" dish in Teriyaki Chicken (Php190) with rice. The ramen was really good! My boyfriend agreed, and that says something because he is not a fan of Japanese food really. Loved that there was bottomless cold tea. The food pricing was appropriate and the choices were extensive.
First time to try Tsukemen and it was nice. It is similar to Cold Soba, but more rich and tasty. Plus It has meat on the side, yay.
I gave them a 3.5, since at the time we dined here, almost everything was not available 😢
Also, I did not like my Chicken Black Pepper Don, it tastes funny.
Nevertheless, I'll visit this again for Tsukemen and Sobas.
Maybe I'll try to dine earlier than usual to try those unavailable dishes. 😋
I ordered their best seller agitonshoyu, it was a really thick pork broth based ramen with your usual ingredients. Nothing so special with this one. I've had better ramen.
As for the yuzu tsukemen, it was a rather refreshing mild citrus and lime flavor. If you do go here order this instead. The chicken black pepper is worth a try, not your usual flavor again, but a really good take on peppered chicken. Oh just FYI, no sushi or sashimi here.
The place had an old japanese era design, and they did all out on the interior. Really nice, yet chill ambiance if you plan to take someone out on a casual date.
Service could have been better though, but over-all experience was good. Still worth a visit if u feel like having a ramen night.
Brought here in the Philippines by the UCC group, no doubt the best place to get that tsukemen fix! That Double Cheese Tsukemen... worth every calorie!!! Other than what they are damous for, Mitsuyado offers a great food selection for everyone to try like their tempura (a staple thing), gyoza and black pepper chicken.
Quaint restaurant interiors and quick service! I've tried the Cheese Tsukumen, Spicy Miso Tsukumen and Chicken Karaage-- all good 💯 Would definitely recommend 👌
Mitsuyado sei-men's design & authentic food gives you the feeling of rural Japan. I recommend you bring along some friends and enjoy the chill vibes
This has got to be one of my top Japanese noodle shops in town. Their cheese curry tsukemen is the bomb. Rich savory curry sauce together with their creamy cheese sauce and golden yolked ajitama is a big WIN. Their gyoza is amazing too, slightly crispy exterior with a juicy/saucy center. As for the place itself, the store is very clean and looks very cool and authentic.
If you do order tsukemen, I suggest you get the thick hot noodles, instead of thin ones. The experience is better. :)
My friend and I went here on a Thursday night and I'm so glad that it was not full. I ordered Tan tan Tsukemen while my friend ordered Cheese Sauce Tsukemen. He tried pairing his noodle w/ cheese sauce with my tan tan's soup and he loved it more than his soup. So what I did was I ordered extra cheese, since my order doesn't come with cheese sauce and after tasting it, I agreed with him. The tan tan's soup really complements the cheese sauce. Also, we loved their complementary tea! You can choose between cold or hot tea. Btw, the service is also good and the staffs were really accommodating and attentive. Will definitely come back soon!
I have trusted tried their Hiroshima spicy tsukemen which amazed me with the sauce which includes sour spicy and the aroma of sesame. But what can be better would be the char Siu as it taste quite dry. My boy had the spicy miso ramen and the soup is thick with lots of vege. Next would be the gyoza, the skin was thin and the fragrance for the meat taste with vinegar is match.
Always looking forward to visit this place. My fave Ramen place, so happy that they are now at Ayala the 30th just beside UCC which happens to be our fave coffee shop as well.
Have you ever tried tsukumen? It's like your typical cold soba except this time the soba noodles are topped with melted cheese and you have a rich pork broth as a dipping sauce. I recommend their cheese sauce tsukumen, at first it might seem weird but inherently addictive after awhile. The ambiance of the place is also very nice, and service is excellent.
Favorite tsukemen place. Service needs a bit of improvement but overall, everything's perfect. Their tsukemen sauce is too much for me so i suggest ordering extra noodles so you can share. Please, please order their Cheese Tsukemen - it won't disappoint!
Number of times visited: more than 2X
Parking: In front of the restaurant, might be filled up quickly as Jupiter is also a busy area.
Food: We always go back for the cheese curry tsukemen. We were quite skeptical but this noodle dipping dish really works. The combination of the noodles, broth, and cheese really just goes well together.
Their other dishes such as the ramen and karaage are just okay.
Price: Quite expensive but for the cheese tsukemen, it’s worth it.
Service: Attentive and they are prompt in serving the food.
Place: The interior is quite cool, it looks like they are trying for a Japanese alley feel. It’s quite comfortable to dine in here also.
Repeat: Sure, if craving for tsukemen.
I have tried their cheese tsukemen before since they recommend it but it didn't amaze me. I still love the typical ramen. I'm not a fan of dipping your noodles in a creamy thick cheese sauce and ramen soup. Taste like pasta for me. The taste was not bad but not Japanese taste for me. I'm glad that they added tuna salad to their menu. It is one of my favorite Japanese dish. If you love ramen, Mitsuyado is a must try. All of their ramen is a must try. But if you want something new, you could try their tsukemen. Sauce/soup was separated from thick noodles.
They have set meals for lunch! Yaaay! It's a bit expensive so plan your meals ahead before going here. Wear your nicest polo shirt and jeans if you are planning to visit this place as you would see people from nearby go here and take their lunch, usually dressed in business attire. This is a heaven for solo eaters as the place is setup for you to be transported back to the times of street eating in Tokyo mostly in small tables. The lighting and the interior is so convincing you want to say you've been to Japan even if you' haven't . And when you still have funds for take outs, their bakery is just one door away. This is not my last visit, will share my story on the next one.
One of the places Kat and I have talked about but had not eaten in ever since I got back is here at Mitsuyado Sei-Men. Located all the way from the other side of Jupiter street, it sure was a walk indeed, but thankfully a fun one at that. Kat had been here before a few years back, so we tried it without knowing (or remembering in Kat’s case) the food besides that it’s a tsukumen place. Tsukumen refers to dipping noodles; instead of being served in a steaming bowl of broth, the noodles and the soup or sauce are served separate.
Our favorite place to go on dates! Love the ambiance. Good food. Their tsukemens are a must try. One time I ordered their cheese tsukemen, though the cheese ain't premium, it still nails it. Their ramens are good too. Service is okay.
Looks unassuming on the outside but i was blown away upon entering. The ambience doesnt look like a typical japanese restaurant (which gave this place a breath of fresh air). Loved the cheese tsukemen! I was surprised it didnt have the "umay" factor which is prevalent in cheesy dishes

Mitsuyado Sei Men is a fabulous find for me and my officemates. We came upon this Japanese resto on the way to a business meeting along Jupiter Street and decided to have our lunch here. Its interiors do give off the Japanese vibe, with dainty Japanese lanterns providing subdued lighting to the minimalist and rugged furnishings.
I ordered a set meal consisting of a small bowl of Shoyu Ramen, a Half Chicken Black Pepper Don and a potato salad. The ramen was rich and flavorful, its pork slice fork tender while its noodles have some bite. The chicken was also tender and had a strong peppery taste.
Charsiu Ramen by Mitsuyado Sei-men: YEY.
It was a cold dreary Satuday afternoon when he decided to go the Mitsuyado Sei-men, and aside from some streaks of sunlight piercing through the clouds and the occasional rumbling of cars passing by Jupiter Street, there was little that could take away his attention from the bowl in front of him. He's been here several times for the past 4 years and yet it was only now that he had realize that things will never be the same again. It has been more than a year since he had her at the opposite side of the table. He tried once or twice writing about her, never to patronize neither to exercise any gesture of flattery, but simply to recount some trivial conversation they had when they were together. Careless retelling -- a sketch that pictures her as stupid, and worse, ineloquent, is how it was disastrously received. The Germans have a word for it: verschlimmbessern. Inept as he is in writing about food, it seems he has more chances with describing gastronomic experiences than endeavoring a portrayal of the slightest nuances in her character. Some readers would have envisioned a scene in Juzo Itami's 1985 film Tampopo as a better reference for this visit, with Gun, played by the young Ken Watanabe, learning the Gestalt and later on the deconstructivist appeal of eating Ramen from his sensei, but he, in his silence, only had his mind on her and the bubbles that fizzle quietly from his draft beer.
Ebi Tempura by Mitsuyado: OK LANG
Undoubtedly, anything else aside from Mitsuyado's noodle dishes play second fiddle in their menu. Only just recently, the restaurant has decided to update their offerings to include other Japanese treats like pork buns, curry and other ramen variants for visitors to try. But one of the more common and perhaps some would call classic partners to ramen would be tempura, and in this case, Ebi Tempura. While there is very little to complain about, there is also very little to praise. The serving is relatively generous with 5 plump tiger prawns and a selection of battered vegetables (such as eggplant and okra; i hate okra, she loves okra). It would be a shame if they used anything less than fresh shrimps and they do not disappoint. However, as with all tempura, the main ingredient is only as good as its shell. Obviously, you wouldn't expect the batter to be seasoned too much as it is only to provide an outer covering but much of the experience in eating tempura lies on its hardness and texture. Mitsuyado's isn't the best in this area. Particularly, the shell is too hard for my liking, the sort that would scrape the ceiling of your mouth if you are not careful. Fortunately, the tempura dip softens it down and makes it more appealing. Again, there is little to complain about but overall, I'd still rank other restaurants who specializes in tempura such as Tenya over Mitsuyado's.
Their noodles are the best Japanese noodles in the country. Their cheese tsukumen is a must try. Would definitely recommend this place to everyone craving for tsukumen.
Ramen with a cheese sounds odd but the taste is surprisingly good.
The ambience resonates vintage Japan. Hanging lanterns and signages creates an authentic feel of eating along the streets of throwback Tokyo.
I came from Asia Pop Comic Con in SMX and it is better to dine outside MOA to avoid the hassle. It was a long, tiring day and a bowl of Ramen is the only thing I have in mind. Good thing there’s a branch of Mitsuyado Sei Men in blue bay walk.
Tsukemen means “dipping noodles”, the art of eating ramen with a separate broth and soup to dip the noodles. The regular bowl of cheese tsukemen is a contention of a savory soup and thick sauce cheese. The taste is confusing on the the onset but I easily acquired the taste.
I also ordered ebi tempura don. I have the urge that I deserve to eat noodleas and rice at the same time. The pacing of the service is slow. There’s a refillable service tea but they don’t serve glass of water.
You can also bring home pastries and bread from Yamato Bakery conveniently connected at Mitsuydo Sei-Men. The original branch is located at Jupiter street in Makati City.
Great ambiance i really like the place. The food was good. Im not really into noodles but i love gyoza. Plus its walking distance from our place. Will recommend to friends.
Really the house of tsukemen! Been searching for a place like this. I finally ate tsukemen for the first time and I must say, it was the best! Ordered cheese sauce tsukemen and hakata tonkotsu ramen and no regrets! Will be back here for sure. Thumbs up! Great ambiance. 😍😍😍😘💖💖🍲🍥
My experience here was great! Ordered a Cheese Sauce Tsukemen and it was the best! Definitely a must try. Kinda new to the feeling because I'm really a ramen fan but it does not disappoint! One warning though, they don't serve service water so you need to buy from them. (Which is costly)

The art and science of cheese-making may have been shrouded in mystery because of its unclear history; some people claimed that gods brought cheese into being while various historians deemed its discovery to be purely coincidental. As for me, I personally believe that it came from the cupboard of a culinary sorcerer because, as if by magic, cheese renders any dish with a degree of flavor that challenges the palate and sometimes, even our very own logic.
Place ✔ (Accessible, easy to find)
Ambiance ✔ ( Feels like I'm in Japan though I've never been there)
Price ✔ (You get what you pay for) 😊
Service ✔ (Accommodating)
Food ✔ (Food is great, we eat here together with our Test Consultant guest from Spain and he enjoy it) 😊
I was very intrigued with Mitsuyado Sei-Men as I have never tried Tsukemen. These are noodles that you would dip in a broth and sauce before consuming. I tried the Double Cheese Tsukemen, where I poured the cheese in the broth and slurped the dipped noodles. Unfortunately for me, I'm no slurping expert as compared to the Japanese men on the next table who effortlessly did it to their heart's content. As they say, a noisy slurp indicates a good noodle dish for the Japanese. Price points are at 400 - 800 per head. Service is a little but unfriendly for a slow day.
If you want to try unique ramen, give Mitsuyado a try. Their Cheese Sauce Tsukemen (one of their bestsellers) is delicious in a weird way. You pour the cheese on the noodles then dip the cheese-flavored noodles in the ramen sauce/soup. It provides a slight aftertaste because of the cheese. With that said, one try's enough. I'd still choose tried and tested Tantanmen over this unique ramen any day.
It was like being instantly transported to another place. The food also taste very authentic jap. I was very happy to have visited them. I'm a tempura lover and their's is one of the best I've had. Will be bringing friends soon. And thanks to karmen and josh for taking me to Mitsuyado Sei-Man. Bawi ako next time haha
A friend of mine is a fan of Tsukemen which means dip noodle. So I gave it a try. He tells me that days after I’ll likely look for it and have it again. Let’s see. I had the cheese Tsukemen with curry. It has even a double cheese version. Out of curiosity I had it cold and warm, one after the other.
Went here for I anticipated the interiors I saw from what I have searched in the internet. When we finally got there, the place did not disappoint me since it really felt like I went to Japan. It was like an old Japan street setting perfect for some photo ops.
For the food, the ramen's price is worth it for how the serving is. I tried the cold tsukemen with cheese and it did not disappoint since it made me full.
The staff are nice and very attentive whenever we need something.
This has been my favorite ramen place so far. Ramen in this place is great especially the Curry Ramen. I also love their Aji Tama and Cheese Sauce Ramen. I highly recommend this place to family and friends. I just hope that quality and taste of food will not diminish in time.
Love the ambiance! Love the authentic Japanese food! This resto is known for their ramen. Got their famous cheese sauce tsukemen (very unique and delicious combination) and spicy tsukemen. Both were really good. The noodles were al dente-perfect! For entrees, try their curry chicken rice, chahan, gyoza, char siu plate and Sumiyaki coffee jelly for desset.
Mitsuyado Sei-Men. Step into this wonderful place and you will instantly feel like you are in the streets of Tokyo, Japan. No passports or visas required, but the open mind to amazing food that will tantalize your taste buds.
Without a doubt, I would have to say that my favorite ramen item on the menu is the Double Cheese Tsukemen. Wait! What? Hang on… Time out. Cheese ramen? You heard (or read it right) me right. Like I said earlier you need an open mind to such amazing food.
The noodles (hot), broth (hot), and cheese sauce are all separate. What’s different from the cheese to double cheese is the sprinkle of parmesan cheese at the top of it when it’s served. Now when it comes to eating, first pour the cheese sauce on the noodles and coat them. Next dip into the rich hot broth. Lastly, eat and don’t forget to slurp as it makes things taste better as the noodles glide along your tongue.
I will admit, at first that my brain was having a hard time registering how it all balanced perfectly. The cheesiness, the noodles, the rich tonkatsu dipping broth which was both porky and citrusy with the yuzu. Even if my brain wanted to deny such perfection, it simply just couldn’t. My taste buds were very happy with the fireworks of flavors in my mouth. ‘Wow’ was all I could think of, shaking my head at first slurp. But at the end, I was nodding my head at the last noodle, and trying to savor it as best as I could—for as long as I could.
The gyoza is the must order side dish on the menu. I have had plenty of gyozas from many different Japanese restaurants. They are made in-house, and not those frozen pack ones. You can really taste the difference and quality in the meaty filling, and the wrapper having that bit of chew. And with the way they cook it, bottom part very crispy and not burnt, hands down it’s the best gyoza for me.
The price, I wouldn’t say that it’s steep. Everything and not just the gyozas are made inhouse, but the noodles are made fresh daily. Fresh, nothing instant, which makes things more flavorful and worth it.
Service is great. The servers seem pretty knowledgeable on the what’s on the menu and will give you helpful info if you need them. But I would say there is one downside… No service water. They only give tea if you want, hot or cold. I don’t mind it, but sometimes water is what’s needed. How do they mix their tea? No water?
Overall though, great place to go to, especially for authentic tsukemen and even regular ramen.
On my next visit… Cheese Curry Tsukemen? That’s going to blow my mind away if that works. No doubt that it will. My taste buds are again curious and ready to try it.
Finally visited this bookmarked house of tsukemen. Interiors are set up like a Tokyo street food stall. Service is friendly and attentive.
First off we ordered gyoza and it's very good. Juicy pork filling, while the skin is crispy as well as soft. After that I had the Karashi Tsukemen plus Marutoku side. I opted for hot noodles, which were thick and chewy. The karashi broth was spicy and quite tasty. I added my Marutoku (roast pork, Japanese egg and veggies) into the broth. The way to eat tsukemen is to dip the noodles into the broth and then slurp it up.
My partner ordered Chicken Teriyaki Don, which was similar to what we get elsewhere. We also shared a Yuzu ae-Soba. Tasty al dente thin noodles flavored by Yuzu - a Japanese citrus fruit.
A must-try tsukemen place!
When we're craving something other than shio or shoyu ramen, we come here. If you can only order one thing, it would be the Cheese Sauce Tsukemen. Do not order the Double Cheese. It's not worth it. They only sprinkle a not so generous amount of Parmesan on top of the noodles. That's it. Oh, the gyoza is also good.
I always get their Cheese Tsukemen because anything cheesy makes me kilig (hahahaha) but yesterday, I decided to change the usual order and got myself a Cheese Curry Tsukemen (wow, what a big change).
This, for me, was better than just the cheese one. The curry and cheese went well with each other and wouldn't give you that "umay" feeling. I'm actually craving for it right now so that must mean that it was really good.
As always, the place was spot on and would make you feel like you're instantly transported to Japan.
Japan style resto!!! Yes it will really make u feel your eating ramen in japan.. Cozy, clean and very unique place along busy road of Jupiter St. in Makati City.. Tried their best seller Char-Siu Ramen, Gyudon and my fave Gyoza... I didnt expect the meal is good for two already (for me) but for the taste and richness of flavor "thumbs up on their ramen"... On Gyudon for my best friends opinion is like simple nd okay.. But for my GYOZA im speechless.... =) Will be back for more next time...
Mitsuyado!!! Another great restaurant from UCC Coffee's group. We ordered gyoza for appetizer, Black Pepper Chicken, Katsu Curry and Karashi Tsukemen (Spicy!) as the main course. Upon entering the place, its like you're transported to Japan with its beautiful but simple interiors. The gyoza was alright while the others was great especially for their Tsukemen. Can't wait to try out the other variants of their Tsukemen!
The ambiance in this place is off the charts. It's as if you are really in the streets of Japan. And their food tastes great, too. Worth your money. If you want to try something new, try their Cheese Sauce Tsukumen. Yum!
It's nice to eat somewhere a bit pricey from your usual budget friendly restos once in a while. My officemate suggested I tried it out here since I was starting to love Japanese food. And yes, I regret nothing. I tried out the Sichuan Tan Tan Tsukemen (Well, Mitsuyado Seimen is known for their Tsukemens!) and it was delicious! Looking forward to every payday :)
Remarkable is the word I can surely use to describe my dining experiences with Mitsuyado. If you can be in love with food, then their tsukemen will be my leading lady.
The ambiance and service is top notch and I always look forward to a complain free visit to either of their branches.

+3.5
Place: ambiance and interior was great! Feels like a legit ramen house
We ordered:
Karashi tsukemen: i must say this was really really good! Authentic 5/5
ebi tempura don: I had better. I personally didn't like their ebi tempura. Probably because of it's breading(?). Plus it seems like the shrimp was over cooked. 3/5
If you're looking for real Japanese flavors this place will not disappoint. The husband and I were looking for a quick lunch stop and decided to give Mitsuyado a try - everything about this place is authentic that it felt like we were actually in the streets of Tokyo. The place was full (always a good sign) and several tables seated Japanese guests (an even better sign).
We were offered hot or cold tea and we enjoyed both immensely - the taste of toasted rice in the tea was so good and comforting. Had the karashi (chili) ramen & black pepper chicken and both were lovely. The black pepper in the chicken was so present yet not overpowering; the spicy ramen sooo good. Also had the char-syu curry and it's as genuine as Japanese curry can get.
The quick stop turned into an hour and twenty minutes not because the service was slow but I think we simply enjoyed the whole experience.. The food is worth your time definitely.
PS was going to give this place a perfect rating but walked in their restroom and was greeted by a moldy bidet - not good for a starry-eyed, food-smitten customer to see. :/
Yeah, this place is legit. I've had my fair share of soba around the city, some good, some not so good. This is most definitely one of the former.
I went for the hot Karashi Tsukemen with ground pork, bamboo shoots, and bits of pork chashu, which was spicy and warm and delicious, I prefer warm soba over cold soba, and I would pretty much recommend any of the warm dip soba on the menu. The broth is super flavorful, and it really warms you up - perfect for cold weather or if you're sick.
One thing to take note of is that you can get the soba in either regular or large. Perhaps I have a larger than average appetite, but regular is never enough for me so I always get the large. It's only Php40 more than the regular size so I think it's super worth it and will leave you feeling satisfied.
While the dipping situation is a little intimidating, the result is delicious, and I'll definitely be going for that option when I return to Mitsuyado Sei Men. Service is efficient and the wait staff are friendly and accommodating. Please check them our when you are in the area.
