Our group ordered tempura, paella, kushiyaki and ramen.
Kushiyaki and tempura are cooked perfectly. Ramen soup is rich and noodles are bit soft. We failed in ordering chicken and shrimp paella as it’s nakaka umay.
Next time, I should try their pizza, maki and sashimi.
Service is ok, place is cozy.
John and Yoko is a cosmopolitan restaurant known for its innovative fusion cuisines. We did just ten cart wheels to get there in Greenbelt 5, excited to taste their intriguing dishes. The restaurant adopts Japanese theme in their interior and uses pastel colors which are pleasing to the eyes.

1. Salmon Carpaccio - the cheese surprisingly went well and made each bite creamy.
2. Chicken and Shrimp Japaella - These are slices of fresh salmon soaked in Ponzu sauce, topped with shredded parmesan and arugula leaves! The cut of the salmon is thick, which makes it more absorbent of the taste. This is definitely a must-try!
3. Cheesy Chicken Teriyaki - This tastes like a celebration of love in every subo! You should not miss this one when you visit the restaurant.

We went there around 5:30pm and we're the only customers that time. I guess it's kinda early for dinner.
We ordered a lot of rolls, both tuna and salmon. Dynamite roll is to die for! Salmon melts in your mouth with a little kick of spice in each bite.
Beef cubes are tender and it taste great!
The skewers taste good as well (beef, chicken, and pork)
We also tried their gyudon which i think one of the best gyudon I've tasted so far.
Will definitely go back to this restaurant!

Good food for an affordable price. John & Yoko serves a wide range of menu items that somehow kinda difficult for me to choose from (yes I wanted to try most of them).
I recommend their Japaella, Japanese style paella (obviously), sukiyaki, steak, bacon asparagus, sashimi. If you’re a maki lover, best sellers are dynamite roll and crunchy tuna roll.
The restaurant’s interior is modern and use of pastel colors looked playful. Made me wanna decorate my house the same.
Had our family lunch in here. The food was great. Their set meal has a big serving in a reasonable price. Fruit shakes and milk tea were good too. The ambience is cozy and fancy. Its not the usual Japanese restaurant style. Will definitely coming back.
Love their ramen and artisan pizzas. Something I look forward to every chnace I get, although I live a bit far, I would always go here. ❤️ love you store!

The sukiyaki I ordered was superb! Nice place, great ambiance and service too. The place gives off an expensive aura when you pass by it in GB5, but the prices were surprisingly affordable and the food was great. Highly recommended!
First time here. A really different take on Japanese food. Love the sushi but the rice gets sticky when you don't eat it right away. The amount of food depends on what you order. The ramen's bowl is not much but the rice meals are good.
Any of the Kushiyaki selection (or all for that matter) + J&Y fried rice my Japanese fix is okay 👍🏼 Love their take on Japanese food + the ambience. Get seated as far from the door though cos it’s near the GB exit.
Delicious Japanese dishes! I love the new look of John and Yoko as it is more cool to the eyes compared to its look before. Still the same delicious dishes!
