I dined here with my mom who was a pescetarian. She does not eat any meat except for fish, vegetables, and egg. A lot of food to choose from. And everything was really delicious. Saktong sakto sa panlasabg pinoy. The sizzling pandesal was the best way to end the meal.
Locavore is more of a drinking place rather than a full on restaurant. First time I ate here, I made a mistake of not eating the meal with rice. It was indeed too oily and I had indigestion. Next time, I paired everything we ordered with rice and some alcohol. It worked.
Good food and nice ambiance
Nth time to eat in Locavore but first time in this branch. Staff was attentive especially whenever we asked for refill of water. Also happy to find out that the quality of food here was also good. Got our staple orders of sizzling sinigang and oyster sisig. We tried the tusok-tusok appetizer and Mac's boneless fried chicken, which was very crispy on the outside. Would definitely return here!
Near our place, Good Filipino dishes but a bit pricey
Locavore interior design is pleasing to the eyes. Got the lechon oyster sisig, tastes good. Didnt taste the oyster but i would think they are referring to oyster sauce. My friend got the inasal na bangus or inabangu which is okay. Nice staff and service.
Oh, they have an "inclusive" toilet as you can see on my photos. :)
One of the best Filipino restaurants in Manila. Amazing food, good serving portions, and good service too. Great value for money. It is a good place for bringing back balikbayans to celebrate.
If you want a good Filipino restaurant with a twist, go here at Locavore.
We loved their Kilawin especially the tuna, sizzling sinigang, buttered shrimp, and crispy pata.
My team went here for dinner and we ordered Sizzling Sinigang, Lechon and Oyster Sisig and Gising Gising.
Their take on the classic sinigang is something that will always make you wonder how you can make it sizzling but boy, will you be amazed on how it was prepared without having to sacrifice that distinct sinigang flavor.
My teammates did not particularly like the Lechon and Oyster Sisig but it was still worth a shot. I like the creaminess of that sauce, however if left too long too cool, the lechon looses the crunchiness.
I fee like the Gising Gising could be better or maybe I was just biased because I love XO's version.
We will definitely come back and try the other dishes in their menu.👌

Sizzling sinigang, gising gising, kare kare wings and their sisig is really good. The twists placed in the filipino dishes is really good and satisfying. I love how flavourful the foods are. Though i tasted their other foods already, my top 4 are those i mentioned above. Their branch in BGC is also good and consistent with the food quality and service.
