So glad I found this gem of a bar in Makati, beyond the great service the crowd was buzzing and the vibe was warm! We came there just to drink but we ended up ordered multiple bowls of Pho!!
cool new spot to hang :) cheap beer, good food, friendly staff and a nice ambiance
Cu Chi is always a favorite when I'm hungry in Poblacion. I think I've tried almost every dish on the menu now. The beef Pho is great. Filling, satisfying and a great aroma. Give this a place a try if you like Vietnamese cuisine. Value for money too.
Doesn’t look at glamorous but the food and drinks are affordable and that’s fine with me. We got hungry after our Polilya visit so we transferred here. Their walls had Vietnam themed designs and posters.
My friend who went there before mentioned when she went there the tables and chairs were moved to the side and they turned the middle portion into a dance floor. The night we went there it was acoustic night so people performed and sang in-front.
I also noticed they have discounted rates for food and drinks cause the server gave me the wrong menu with higher pricing. I ordered Curry Rice with Chicken (Php 139) the sauce wasn’t as thick and it was watery. So I wasn’t full I ordered Fresh Spring Rolls (Php 109). I liked it even though nakakabitin 😂 then i ordered Mule (Php 80).
All i can say is THEY HAVE THE BEST MOJITO! The great thing also about this place is they have a buy 1 take 1 promo on their selected cocktails. I also tried their fresh spring rolls (vegetarian), it's very filling eventhough it's pure vegetables.
Pretty laid back place in the Poblacion area. Cu Chi is a Vietnamese bar and bistro so it makes sense that they have really cool Vietnamese interiors. Perfect place to grab a beer on any day of the week. Tried their bahn mi , spring rolls, and pork skewers- all affordable, all great. Plenty happy with their service, pricing, and ambience. Been here a couple of times with friends and will keep coming back!

One of the best bars in Makati. Perfect ambience and Good people. The food and drinks is great! I had an amazing experience. Excellent choice of music!
Great location, great vibe, great food. Definitely coming back! Staff is very friendly and I love to watch the people downstairs on the road - the open-style bar is decorated with lots of vietnamese inspired signs and paintings.
Ordered the Bun Cha (mixed grilled meat, mixed vegetables & herbs, rice noodles & soup) and it is amazing. The grilled meat with the fresh vegetables & herbs are just incredible. The soup may not be for everyone for it is made of vinegar, sugar and a whole lot of patis (fish sauce) but if you’re into Vietnamese food you will definitely appreciate and enjoy.
The fresh spring rolls with shrimp are a definite must and quite filling.
Service is great and looking forward to trying out their cocktails on the next visit.
It's a Vietnamese bar
Very cheap beer
All local beers available
Ambience is averagely well
Skewers are really tasty and worthy
A simple place to just chill with your group
If you are traveling to Vietnam, I really recommend that you go eat and enjoy Vietnamese cuisine. The food there is super delicious. So when I kind of took a break from traveling, I kept on wishing and hoping to find an authentic Vietnamese restaurant in the Philippines. Finally, I felt that my prayers were answered with the opening of Cu Chi Bar in Makati. Btw, I say authentic Vietnamese restaurant because the chef, Chef Tung “Ryan” Pham, is from Vietnam.
Named after the tunnel maze built during the Vietnam War, Cu Chi Vietnamese Bar is reminiscent of Vietnam’s red light district analogously echoed by Miss Saigon’s Dreamland. The 70’s vibe oozes through the vintage posters, wall paintings and dim rouge lighting, best complemented with retro and/or funky music. [Read More]
