Excellent Excellent Excellent
I have no more words about this restaurant. This restaurant have been much recommended by all my friends and YES the satisfaction is much. Very casual restaurant. Super friendly service from both the waiters and the owner. Flexible in terms of everything. Much Much recommended place to dine.
Comfort food. It’s been years since my last time and the beef stew and baby octopus are exactly how I remember them. When I crave Korean, this is my go-to place.
Beef stew is really good, best enjoyed hot with a bowl of rice, I also like their spicy octopus. If you are looking for quality Korean food visit Korean Garden.
Love this place we have visited no other place as often as KG over the years, to start with they have some of the best banchan you can find in the metro!
Bulgogi to japchae and bibimbap are always good, big plus for offering vegetarian options as well.
Simple but comfortable restaurant, love the fact that the grilled meats are cooked in the kitchen and not inside the dining area! Good and friendly service, no music is being played, which feels strange at times as the place is very quite even when packed.
Korea Garden is just a family favorite. Growing up, I like how consistent they are with the quality and taste of their dishes. Their appetizers are only served once (refills mighg have extra charge, depending on the number of people per table). I like the spinach and toge.
Their chicken, beef, and shrimp bulgogi are delicious and sweet, perfect with their plump rice. The beef stew is a classic but it's best to eat it while it's hot. The pan fried fish fillet and raw beef tartare is also recommended along with their sundubujigae & kalbi tang.
For dessert, you get free sliced pineapples.
A bit pricey but worth it if you really want quality Korean food. Their food is the reason why they are still here and valued customers still go back.
Pro tip: ask for extra beef stew sauce!
The place looks old, but classy. I think that their prices are a bit steep, considering the serving size. All staff are polite and really approachable.
Number of times visited: more than 2x
Parking: Several spaces are available in front of the store. However, since this is near the Makati business district, parking can be all filled up most especially during peak dining hours.
Food: This restaurant started my love for Korean food. So far, every dish I tasted from their menu is really good. However, if I have to select a favorite – it has to be the beef ribs stew (kalbi chim). Rich broth/saucy, fall off the bone, beefy goodness. This and just a bowl of hot rice –you’re all good!
They also have Korean BBQ but it is served cooked already, so if you’re the type who doesn’t enjoy cooking – you may like this.
They serve banchan and it’s refillable. For dessert, they serve fruits (we had pineapple before) or you may choose to order those Korean grocery ice cream which has become popular through the years.
Price: Can be quite expensive. Most of the dishes were priced Php 300 and above. Mind you, a single order can only serve 2 persons on the average or 3 persons who don’t have big appetites. However, I don’t mind paying a little bit more for great tasting food.
Service: So far, we haven’t encountered any bad service from them. Attentive during order taking and it’s easy to catch their attention.
Place: Not too fancy décor but at least it’s air-conditioned, clean, and spacious. Big groups can be accommodated.
Repeat: Yes! The Korean beef stew is really something!
Great Korean bbq place on Jupiter. The meat is not grilled on the table but arrive perfectly and freshly grilled at your table.
Top marks to beef stew and spicy octopus. Beef bulgogi and dak Bulgogi were pretty good too.
The banchan is not as plentiful as in other Korean establishments, but are tasty and replenished on demand.
My favorite Korean restaurant in the country! Yes, you can't grill your own food (but they do have samgyeopsal if you're really into that). You start with six plates of complimentary appetizers (mostly veggies- so yay for your body!)
I highly recommend the spicy octopus, beef stew, dumplings (either steamed or fried), pork bulgogi, bibimbap, chicken taqui (spelling?), Korean-style tuna sashimi, chapchae. Place is very homey, and it's not the best choice for an intimate date - since big families usually frequent the restaurant. Haha.
Super good here promise!!! I'm getting hungry just writing this review.
