Raffles is arguably the best hotel brand in the world and this is one of their best. Enjoy afternoon tea like it used to be or the awesome gym and spa facilities. Two pools and staff that makes you smile.
From the moment we walked through the door to the moment we left, the service was impeccable and the staff were engaging and charming. If you are looking for that little bit extra sparkle, this is the place to go. To all the team at Raffles Makati, thank you for making our special weekend that little bit extra special. You are the best!

This is a very luxury restaurant at Raffles Hotel. The cuisine was beyond superb, it offers French and continental favorites. The spread was minimal but everything was so delicious and premium quality. Of course the prices are expensive, their Sunday brunch cost at around Php 3,015 per head, but I can say that it's worth all your penny. They had the foie gras station, rissotto, seafood tartar, a wide selection of cheese and meats, carvery of wagyu and leg of lamb, appetizers and dessert station was all superb. Everything I tasted here were magnificent. The staff were so professional and the DJ plays music for the additional vibe in the restaurant. I would say this was a good Sunday brunch to get a buzz with an amazing view outside makati.

It was a Monday well spent after having my lunch here. The vibe of the restaurant definitely screams fancy and elegance. This surely lands a spot on my top recommendations for fine dining date nights! We chose to have a set course meal that included a starter, a main course, and a dessert. This is priced at ₱1340, however, you have an option of the main course and dessert or starter for ₱1110. It was a Monday well spent after having my lunch here. The vibe of the restaurant definitely screams fancy and elegance.
The place is very elegant with lit candles and a floor to ceiling glass walls so you can have a view while dining. It’s super rare to ever still find a place in Manila which serves good seared foie Gras and duck breast, and here is the place for those! Although I think sometimes the dinner table could be a bit darker than how it should be. Cause they dim the lights. Maybe more light can be better to appreciate also the presentation of the food.
The wine list is quite extensive too which is always a good thing.
One of the fine dining spots in Manila I highly recommend.
A high-ceilinged space with natural light streaming in from the floor-to-ceiling windows, marble detailing and kitchen countertop as well as plush seating set the elegant tone for Mirèio. It was our first time to dine in this elegant brasserie where Provençal-inspired cuisine and other French favorites born of traditional French cooking techniques takes the stage.
The Mireio Sunday brunch buffet is a cheese and charcuterie heaven! Great food with amazing quality. I love their seared foie gras too which is also part of the buffet!
I had scoured the internet to find the best place to have our anniversary date, and eventually settled with Mireio because I was quite intrigued with its French and literary inspiration. I’m very very glad that I did!
The moment I stepped into the restaurant, I was greatly impressed. The staff were really nice. Professional, kind and actually thoughtful.
The restaurant was just beautiful and elegant. It's set against a magnificent view of the Makati skyline. With the dim lights and a candle-lit dinner, we were treated in a great and intimate evening.
What we had:
Fresh and smoked salmon tartare
Braised oxtail with black truffle mashed potato and side salad
Chef Bouillabaisse
Lavender creme brulee with peach sorbet
Everything was great, but the braised oxtail stood out. The lavender creme brûlée was so good as well and the flavors were just really subtle and blended perfecty.
When I booked our table, I asked to be seated by the windows and in a quiet corner, citing it was for an anniversary dinner. And we were. But what surprised me was when after our dessert, two of the staff came up with a moist cake and greeted us a happy anniversary! It was a bit of a surprise and we were really happy. The service was just impeccable throughout. They really care about the comfort and satisfaction of their guests at Mireio.
FOOD: 4/5
For appetizer, I had Burrata Cheese topped with Lemon Confit, arugula, and homemade tomato confit. The Burrata, when eaten on its own, is light in flavor and texture. You have to eat it with the lemon confit, arugula, and the tomatoes to experience the refreshing harmony of flavors in your mouth. The lemon confit is well-balanced. It's sour but not offensive to the taste.
I ordered the Pan-seared Sea Bass on a Cauliflower déclinaison with a Romesco sauce. My golly I loooooove the cauliflower bed so much it's prolly the best I've tasted so far! The sea bass is also well-cooked; skin is crispy and the flesh, juicy and melts in your mouth.
I got to try what my friends ordered as well. The Lamb chops are really good, it's crunchy and crispy outside but tender and flavorful within. The best lamb I've tasted, tbh. Meanwhile, the Iberico is a bit of a lackluster for me, taste-wise and price-wise.
The dessert is really something tho. The Lavender Crème Brûlée is da bomb!!! Texture is so so good and the flavors, just wow. It's very rich and velvety at the onset, then you'll feel the lavender undertones afterwards. Like what my friend said, the lavender taste is subtle and not offensive. We also got the Maraicabo mousse with chocolate ice cream, truffle cake and hazelnut crunch. We love how chocolatey the mousse is without being too sweet.
AMBIANCE: 5/5
When I made the reservation, I asked for a table with a good view of Makati CBD. The reservation staff was cordial enough to grant my request. When we got to the restaurant (it was all our first time to dine there), my friends and I were all charmed with the classy and elegantly calm ambiance of the place. It's perfect for an intimate date night!
STAFF: 5/5
Our server, Roxanne, was very attentive to our needs.
Not to mention, we were quite surprised that our food really came in fast (we didn't expect this for a fine dining setup) so I give props to the chefs and the rest of the staff.
Will definitely be back here!
Mirèio is a marvellous restaurant in the heart of Makati CBD. The receptionist seated us beside the window overlooking the mall with a stunning view of the many edifices of Makati beautifully lit in the evening... the ala-cubist paintings of the restaurant are stunning. Servers were attentive and congenial. The oxtail parmentier left us (in almost an orgasmic 🤣) speechlessness. The lamb chops a bit too salty for my taste but goes well with the red wine reduction and the rice pilaf. The lobster bisque with the crab ravioli was a lovely starter, an explosion of flavours. The smoked salmon with the avocado purée was refreshing although a bit underwhelming, perhaps this could be bettered by bringing out the sweetness of the avocado to contrast with the saltiness of the salmon? The dessert was great: we got the Mont Blanc tart and the Pistachio and Olive Oil cake with yogurt ice cream and white chocolate. We left the restaurant with happy and full stomachs since they provided us with a decadent piece of chocolate cake with a personalised congratulatory message for my friend who celebrated his successful application to an internship with Mirèio.
Love the ambience, the food and the view in this restaurant. Especially love the salmon and steaks. Service is good, though sometimes it's hard to catch the attention of the staff since they all huddle behind the bar. Otherwise, a nice place for a romantic dinner or to celebrate a special occasion.
Beautiful restaurant with magnificent view. Having breakfast there is the best way to start you day.
We stay at Raffles when we 1st move in to Philippines and I love to have my breakfast there. Warm hospitality and the staff will greet you by your name!
One day I was looking for my fave blueberry yoghurt at the counter but couldn’t find it. I just go back to my table and say nothing. The waiter saw it and he brought the blueberry yoghurt from kitchen to my table. Oh my!! I’m speechless!! They also remember how do I like my eggs.
No need to mention about the food. It’s all mouthwatering just by looking at the photos and of course it tastes really good in reality.
