Good service from the staff. Not sure if true for all their pizzas but the pizzas we ordered came out thin crust and all in one size. I would've preferred they offer size options (small, medium, large). My favorite was their prosciutto pizza. The spicy honey sitting on each of the tables was a unique condiment. It added some spice and oomph to the stuffed chicken we ordered.
Came here on a Friday night and the place was packed. It took us a while to get seated but service was really fast so we weren’t that bothered. The prosciutto pizza was good, especially with the honey! But their new pizza, the one with the salmon, was unremarkable. Overall, the experience was great. Would come back!
Waiters were quite clumsy, nonetheless, the food were fantastic.

This is a very good place to have a meeting. The atmosphere was so calm and laid back. The bar area looks really cool. We had their Cacio E Pepe and Salted Egg Pasta. We didn't have their pizza as we are a bit time pressed. It was all in all a great experience. Will try to eat here again.
I super love this place! They have the best pizza ever. My go-to has always been S.M.EGG generously drizzled with their spicy honey sauce. THE BEST!! Also, the salted egg pasta is really good.
I really love this place, I love their the Margherita and meat pizza. they have unique condiments for pizza. It was my first time using spicy honey for my pizza. I love Burrata with House Salad, their pasta too. I really love going back to this place .
I love this place because it’s one of the few places that will not charge you for your corkage for the first bottle of wine! Delicious pizza and pasta! Food was promptly served, parking can be hard during rush hours though.
Good service. Welcoming ambiance. Great food! Definitely one of the best pizzas that I've tried here in the Philippines. The usage of locally source kesong puti is also an ingenious move. Kudos!
This is a great restaurant to try. Cozy restaurant, great employees with a smile, and great food. Lil bit of problem is the table size but overall, the best.
Must try their buffalo mozzarella fig marmalande for apetizer, lemon mushroom and salted egg for pasta, and prosciutto, buffalo chicken and cheese for pizzas.
Here are some photos of my dinner yesterday at Gino's. Salted egg, the other pasta I forgot lol, and buffalo chicken pizza. I also forgot the name of the salad lol.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
My daughter and I love to eat in Gino’s after her class in Salcedo Place. We love their Pizza Margherita and Bacon Sausage. Waiters are friendly and the place is small but cozy.
Good for lunch outs!
The service is fast, their pizzas are always served fresh from the oven. I love the variety in their pizza and pasta options, as well as with their condiments (they have spicy honey ❤️).
Smegg and the salted egg pasta is a must try!
Their product are the best quality, flavorful and delicious. Their pizzas are literally the best! Their 5 cheeses pizza is my personal favorite followed with the pesto mushroom pizza (vegetarian option)
There salad are tasteful as well.
Big bonus for the burrata!! Everyone should try it at least once
This is a great place to share pizza and pasta with peers. The average price of PHP350 per meal is justified since the food is of excellent quality. Three people can already leave the place full with just a single order of pizza and two plates of pasta.
It has been awhile since I ate here at Ginos and I miss it for a lot of reasons. The food is superb, and my first time to taste brick oven pizza with spicy honey. The combination is unforgettable 😊 and it was love at first bite!
Pizza is best eaten while hot since pizza cooked in a brick oven tends to be hard to chew when at room temp or cold. They sell spicy honey if you want to take one home. Irecommend also the buratta salad and the blue cheese pizza, and the salted egg pasta.. and everything else hehe.
You can take a nice walk in a park after eating here, as the location is in the inner streets of makati, away from the hustle and bustle and near public parks lined with big trees.
Oh man, I'm addicted to their Burrata, Lemon Mushroom Pasta and Pesto. I enjoy almost all their pizzas, the pie itself is kinda soft but I enjoy that because it goes really well with their robust crust. Love it with the chili honey. :)
I've been to 3 different branches of Gino's, namely the ones in Salcedo, Katipunan, and Rada. As far as I know, they're quite consistent with their food. Gino's is one of my fave restaurants here in Manila because they sell quality Italian food for a reasonable price. I'd recommend trying their Salted Egg pasta and their Margherita pizza!
Gino’s Pizza gives you a satisfying, freshly made pizza that’s just with the right amount of sauce so that it is not soggy. I default to the Bianca Verde with additional prosciutto or bacon bits. Drizzled with chili honey and I’m always satisfied!
Their bolognese pasta is not very appealing to the eye but satisfying to the stomach. Although, I wouldn’t mind having more sauce. Drinks are good and complementary to their dishes—one of the reasons why I’ll always come back☺️
First time here. Pizza 5 cheese is very yummy. Also Octoberfest bear, salame piccante and carbonara very good. Average the quality of the coffee expresso. Great service, restaurant very clean. Prices is good compared other Italian restaurants in makati.
I always comeback for their their spicy honey sauce.
For this visit, We ordered a salad, carbonara, salted egg pasta and parma ham pizza. As usual, the pasta was cooked aldente and well seasoned. The pizza did not disappoint. Our team had a good time in this branch. Will comeback when we have that spicy honey craving again!
I've been to Gino's for three times already and I would definitely say that I like it as how I liked it from the very first time I have been there. The House Salad, Meat Pizza and of course, the Lemon Mushroom Pasta are my favorites. Apart from the foods it serves, the ambiance is good and the overall experience is remarkably satisfactory. It would have just been better if the chairs were a bit bigger, but I will still give Gino's my 5-stars because every dish is worth the price and the dining experience is sooooo good!
Love the burrata with bread
SMEGG pizza is kinda salty (maybe because of the sausage?)
Must try their spicy honey with the pizza or bread it’s so so so good!!!
I heard that their pizza is not good enough, but we were satisfied when we dined here. I especially love their spicy honey sauce. Plus, the food service was great.
We ordered various pizzas and pastas from this place to try out a variety of their dishes. The price was very cheap and great for friendly gatherings. The pasta was not too good and i don't recommend them but the pizzas were pretty okay. I love the crust and they used pretty decent cheeses for the price point. And i especially love the spicy honey sauce.
I was feeling exceedingly happy today. I was able to help a friend in dire straits and it was a good feeling. There are a lot more of people my age, my friends falling sick, some passing away like my former classmate, former BSP Governor Nesting Espenilla. To be of service to others, to lift others up gives me more joy than personal achievements. And when I'm happy, I eat! So, I decided to treat myself to lunch at Gino's.
This was started in Katipunan by Jutes and Cello Templo of Cello's Donut fame, named after their son, Gino. We used to frequent Cello's because we believed they were better than Gonuts. Krispy Kreme, J. Co and Poison were not around yet. Then, they came up with Gino's. Since this was a street away from Abada where we stayed in my sons' schooling years, we were practically inhabitants of the joint. Our favorites then were their home-made burrata and the SMEGG Pizza, short for Sausage, Mushroom, Eggs, Gouda and cream. For my son, SMEG had a different connotation that merited a sigh of relief, it meant Sure Management Engineering Graduate.
I started off with Ricotta with Fried Bread (P325), had the Stuffed Chicken Pasta (P420) and a glass of their house wine, Trebbiano d' Abruzzo White (P350).
The ricotta plate was my appetizer and salad in one and it was creamy and delicious. The arugula was fresh and crisp. The bread fried in EVOO dashed with nutmeg was scrumptious and the ricotta, magnificent.
The stuffed chicken pasta was sublime. Simplicity really gets high marks with me. Dishes true to their calling and bursting with flavor are those I seek. This is one of them. The pasta was tossed in EVOO with traces of garlic and chili. The chicken fresh, moist and tender encasing a ground pork concoction and bathed with parmigiano cream sauce. Drizzle a bit of tabasco and chili flakes and I found myself singing again.
I paired these off with a fine white in the delicately sweet Trebbiano. Good times, great food!
Still the best pizza in the city and such value for money. I've eaten in Gino's countless times and it's never disappointed me. My current favorites are the Spinach and Bacon pizza and the Salted Egg Pasta, but trust me, everything is great. Don't forget to drizzle their delicious spicy honey on your food!
the pizza tastes awesome.. i like brick oven pizzas.. and this one is definitely a must-try.. the bianca pizza is soo good and the s.m.egg too.. their chili oil really compliments the taste of their pizzas.. the burrata and prosciutto de parma is one for the books..

I love pizza and this restaurant did not bring me down. I had Pesto Pizza all by myself and it was really good! The price is also not that expensive compared to other fast food pizza places which is a huge factor to me. I don't usually like doughs but theirs was great! The flavors were unique and can be customized. I must say, this is really a pizza gem hive!
Margherita & honey - bomb combo!!! Really love this pizza place. Staff are nice and very approachable. Service is fast and good. Always a good time eating here.

Are you the type of person who eats the pizza except the crust? That will not be the case when you dine in this pizza joint! The spicy honey I wanted to take home with me! Pro tip you can order extra bread for your chili infused honey dipping pleasure! #musttry Ginos Ginos Pizza
My go-to pizza place! Service is good, and all the food that I’ve tried here is delicious. Especially the Lemon Mushroom Pasta. Don’t forget to order the Dalandan juice, it goes very well with the food. Will definitely recommend this place to others. 😁
Sausage pizza (tomato sauce, kesong puti, homemade sausage, red onion, basil)
The pizza crust is perfect; crispy on the outside but soft and chewy on the inside.👌 Not a fan of the homemade sausage though.
Second time at Gino’s. Had Mushroom Parmigiano Pasta,Five Cheese Pizza and Nutella Soup and as usual FELL in LOVE with all. Highly recommend Gino’s for Pizza and Pasta lovers and for those who love to try new things.
Best pizza place by far in the Metro. It’s the quality of cheese and sauce that makes all the difference. Must order the baratta caprese, I can eat the whole thing by myself.
Pesto in flat pasta (Fazzoletti) ❤️😋 @ginosbrickovenpizza .

I love their food! We ordered their pesto pasta, salted egg pasta, and their prosciutto pizza with honey❤️ will definitely come back for more!
I love the mozzarella they have. The place is cozy and welcoming. The place is about 15, mins walk from our office. I will definitely recommend this place. Grate place, grate food!
I love the food! The place maybe small but the overall experience was spectacular.
I love their buratta cheese, it was suppose to explode when you cut through it but it was kinda dry but nice to pair with the salad. The pizza is kinda small, not for people who are really hungry but the taste was super good! The best past for me was their pasta!!!!!! It may eh smaller in portion but it's worth it
Excellent brick oven pizza. Tasty home-made sauces and the craft beer are a real plus. Tiny place, only few tables, good service. Wonderful pizza, freshly prepared! Had a happy evening here. Next time we’ll try their pasta.
Their smegg pasta is good but serving size is very small. Their pizza is also good, esp with honey. Love the burrata caprese and always order this dish always.
In the depths of Salcedo Village, we were able to pass by this hidden gem. Gino's had a very cozy place that would be a perfect place for a date (but we single so we go out with friends lol).
We ordered 4 pizzas as recommended by our server: first was the 5 Cheese pizza and hennnnyy she's the MVP of all the pizzas we ordered. I swear to God we literally fought over this pizza lol. Second, S.M.Egg and hmmm idk but I wasn't feeling this one. It had a weird taste and idk not a fan tbh. Third, the Meat Pizza come thru protien! It was delicious, it was packed with meat so it would've been every meat lovers dream. Last pizza was the chicken buffalo idk why I was imagining buffalo wings on the pizza however it tasted great! Full of flavour! Typing this made me drool let's be honest. Another standout at Gino's was the chili honey that we lathered all over our pizzas. The combination of sweet and spicy was exquisite, must try!
With the pastas, we ordered the bacon sausage and the standouts for me: Salted egg and Lemon and mushroom. Pasta was al dente and screaming in flavour.
The pastas were a little pricey however the pizzas were totally worth it, will definitely be back for that 5 cheese pizza!
I have always wanted to try out Gino's and a few nights ago, I was finally able to give their Salcedo branch a visit.
Let me start off by saying that I absolutely love their bacon and spinach pizza and adding some of their spicy honey gave the pizza and extra layer of flavor.
We also ordered their bolognese and I loved that it was very meaty.
Food here is very reasonably priced and of very good quality.
I hope they can open more branches because I would love to try out their other dishes.
One of my most favorite restos ever. I've dined here countless times. I love that they make their own handmade pasta, which is always al dente, and their pizza dough tastes different. My forever favorite combination will always be the Bacon Gouda pizza and the Lemon Mushroom pasta. The Lemon Mushroom tastes so fresh because of the lemon juice. I never expected something like that to work. The Bacon Gouda is a specialty of theirs and goes perfectly well with their Chilli Honey sauce. Again, something unexpected but works like magic.
I've tried here the Burrata Caprese, Salted Egg pasta, Aglio Olio pasta (wife's favorite), Carbonara pasta, Pesto pasta (another favorite of mine), the Margherita pizza (also a favorite), and the Four Cheese pizza. All good. I've also tried the SMEGG pizza and BOMB pizza but not a fan. The chocolate covered chicharon is okay, not a fan. Worth trying at least once. It's a novel idea but I honestly don't think it works. Because the chicharon is irregularly sized, the chocolate covering can sometimes get too thick on one side and thin on another. And it's served cold, which isn't good for the chicharon because you taste all the sebo in there.
Interiors are modern but cozy. Place is quite small so it can get packed with regulars real quick during lunch and dinner. Waitstaff is quick and courteous. No parking in front, you park along the streets within the vicinity, which can be tricky at times. Good thing this place is very near my office and just a quick 10-minute walk away.
Their Spicy Honey drizzle is EVERYTHING! It’s especially good for the crust of the pizza, that is usually just their basic dough. I usually don’t eat the crust of pizzas but I can’t help but finish the whole slice with the Spicy Honey!
September 1, 2018 We got some takeaway pizzas from Gino's for our dinner. The following were our orders:
Margherita - Puppycat's box. This has always been her favorite kind of pizza flavor. Here at Gino's they use kesong puti instead of mozzarella.
Salami - this is the same as the Margherita. The only difference is that there's salami hiding under the sauce. Though they were thinly sliced, they were so flavorful. I wish they'd give thicker cuts. If it's an option to order extra salami, next time, I'll go for that. Of all flavors that we ordered this is my favorite.
BOMB - I got this because of the blue cheese but there were hardly any on the pizza. All of us disliked this because it was weirdly sweet like a dessert. I told them it's because of the caramelized balsamic onions. It looks so pretty but the taste wasn't that great. I also noticed that the mushrooms are the dry shitake that are submerged into water to be rehydrated. It tasted off because I always associate that kind of shitake with Chinese food. As far as I know when it comes to European cooking don't they use the fresh kind? This would have worked if they balanced it out with something salty like the blue cheese but there weren't enough. The sweetness overpowered everything else on the pizza. I'm having a crazy idea of ordering salami Ala Carte and placing it on top of this with a sprinkling of sea salt. I'm sure from a bomb this will turn into... Boom da Bomb!
Overall, their pizzas were good except for the bomb hahahaha which accurately enough bombed for us. Their crust is great. Deckard and I tried the honey spiked with pepperoncini that's used as a condiment, it was ok. Since we did takeout, it was placed in small plastic containers.
We enjoyed our dinner. The service was good and we got our pizzas fairly fast.
Was quite excited to eat at this place that is very well known and instagrammable. I was especially excited to try their burrata, since im a cheese lover. Overall it was ok. The pizza and pasta was also just ok for my taste, but what stood out for me and intrigued me, especially the name alone, was the nutella soup - very enjoyable as im also chocolate lover, and a big fan of nutella.
Gino's is one of my go to places when I want to get my fix of pizza and pasta.
Their unique honey chili sauce is definitely unforgettable although it has some 'umay' factor.
What I look forward to is te fresh burrata never fails to complement your pizza or pasta order especially if you get it as caprese.
Definitely a must-try when you are in the area.
Gino's is a bit on the expensive side. But it is really worth it. The pizzas are simple but amazing here. It is not like in other restaurants where they tend to over do it in a pizza.
First time trying a brick oven pizza, it was so delicious and I love it! Their service is also good and fast. We are around 12 people ordered 5 pizzas and 4/5 pastas and it costs around 3K. Not expensive.
Burrata Caprese is rich and delicious. Salted egg pasta is also good but a bit nakakaumay. I need coke to take off that umay lasa. SMEGG and Margherita Pizza are also our favorites.
I miss eating at Gino's.
It was a few years back when my friends and I last ate here, so I forgot the names of what we ordered. The pricing seems reasonable for the food tasted great. This place is perfect for a small group of friends and dates.
I do remember their chocolate chicharon though 😅 It was just so playful, a chicharon covered in chocolate. Cholesterol in every bite 😂
I'll update this review soon!
It's a small place with a nice homey feel. The servers were very polite and attentive to our needs.
We tried their SMEGG pizza and the salted egg pasta and it is really good. You can really tell that they use fresh and quality ingredients on the food they serve.
The price is just right for the servings and the quality of food you'll get.
Definitely a place to try for pizza and pasta lovers!
Even if you haven’t tried brick oven pizzas, you’ll know that in Gino’s, they do it the best way. Don’t forget to eat that crust. Smothered it with their signature sauce and you’ll definitely see the meaning of the saying ‘save the best for last’.
#shallireturn to Gino's Brick Oven Pizza?
I love this place. 😍😍😍 we tried their SMEGG pizza and it was really good. I particularly love their honey chili! It sounds very weird but it really works! I placed a lot of it on my pizza. 😍😍
Their burratta is also really good! Goes well with their fresh cherry tomatoes. ❤️❤️
The salted egg pasta is really affordable and it's super delicious! If you love anything flavored with salted egg you have to try this dish. 💕💕
Menu is very limited but food is great! Must try are the salted egg pasta, smegg pizza, and Nutella soup for dessert! Also, make sure you put some of their spicy honey on your pizza!
We ordered the all meat pizza, salted egg pasta and dalandan juice.
Pizza is great up to the crust.
Salted egg pasta is awesome.
Dalandan juice is refreshing.
Attentive and friendly staff.
Nice and cosy place.
Clean restroom.
Haven't eaten at Gino's in so long and was craving so we decided to eat here coz we're checked in nearby.
It's been so long that I forgot what we usually get. This visit we ordered the margherita with fresh mozzarella pizza, meat pizza, and bolognese.
Loved the margherita pizza! The tomatoes were so juicy! Everything was so fresh. I didn't like the meat pizza so much. It had an "umay" factor but the spicy honey made up for it. I love that they made the spicy honey spicier than the first time I tried it. Before there was just a tinge of spiciness. This time it had a stronger kick.
Love the noodles they used for the bolognese. Sauce was good too! Wasn't blown away by it though because it tastes like the bolognese we make, so it wasn't new to my palate. But definitely delicious!
Was curious on what was all the hype about this pizza place so I went to try it during my lunch break.
My orders were:Ricotta with Fried Bread, Margherita w/ Fresh Mozzarella Pizza and Mushroom Pizza.
The place was well designed, it looked like those classic pizza shops which gave me a nostalgia feel. I loved the shape of the ceiling lights, it's something different from the dangling ones I normally see in restos.
Staff was very friendly, and funny cause I could tell they were puzzled as to why I ordered so much.
The food though was kind of disappointing. Don't get me wrong, the flavors were good and it only took 15mins serving time which was amazing but I didn't like how thin the whole pizza was, it was as thin as 2 short bond papers placed together. It made the whole pizza soggy which I didn't like at all. The Ricotta with Fried Bread was good, not that special. The price and the serving size of the food was just right. Not that expensive. I guess with all the hype, you kind of have high hopes for it. Wish they would make their pizza a half an inch thicker hehe
I remembered when Gino's took the pizza world by storm when they first opened in Katipunan area. It was a refreshing change of the usual pie, and the add-on of spiced honey changed the game.
Last night, together with my girlfriend's aunt and uncle, we traveled Makati to brace the traffic. After minutes of looking for parking, we settled at their quaint shop in Bautista corner Tordesillas. The place can fit around 30 people, it was cozy and well maintained.
We got Summer Salad to start, a leafy bowl with prosciutto, pine nuts, parmigiano reggiano in sweet and citrusy dalandan dressing. For mains, we had hefty portions of pizza and pasta each. Yep, it was carbs night for all of us.
Each one of us preferred a different order over another. I personally liked their best selling tasty SMEGG pizza, consisting of homemade sausage, mushroom, eggs, gouda and cream. We also got Bianca Verde, filled with garlic, kesong puti, ricotta, parmesan, basil and arugula in extra virgin oil instead of the usual tomato sauce. I don't consume the crusts usually but this time I did, as long as I have it sprinkled with spiced honey.
The plates of pasta we shared, classic Carbonara and Pesto also impressed us. And did you know that one can actually request for a noodle you fancy? We got tagliatelle over spaghetti for these.
For the final stop, we grabbed only one of three desserts they have. The Crack Pie, which is made of mostly of oatmeal, eggs and sugar was quite a decent ending for just Php 85.
When was the last time you had Gino's? Let me know your story, buzz me up!
Wonderful, wonderful brick oven Margherita Pizza the classic Italian way, Gino's Brick Oven restaurant is one of the few Italian restaurants that actually offer the authentic pizza experience and it doesn't disappoint one bit, I particularly love the "no bs" approach to their pizza, one of our pizza's was delayed and I asked the waiter to follow up the order, he then proceeded to tell me that the first pizza they made for us was rejected by the chef so they had to redo the pizza for us which goes to show dedication to a quality product. We ordered a Margherita Pizza, Prosciutto Pizza, Pasta Bolognese, and their Meat platter.
Lovely ambience and place, the food as mentioned is great, and the price wont break the bank at all. If you're craving for some classic Italian style pizza, look no further than Gino's Brick Oven.
Gino's is a great discovery. Their pizzas may be thin but it's packed with flavor. Cheese, honey and bacon seemed like an odd combination at first, but it kinda worked! We requested for garlic bits and thought it was quite a long wait since we were halfway done ... but it turns out, they cooked it from scratch, which tasted even better. We'll come back for sure :)
All pizza and pasta are really good. Product are fresh and really tasty. So great to eat real cheese. Nice choice of wine. Good service. I will go back
I have been here countless times and whenever me and my boyfriend happen to be in Salcedo village feeling to treat ourselves, this is the place we frequent.
Their pizzas are cooked in a proper authentic Brick oven, thin enough to not overwhelm you with dough, and retain that crispness that true pizza fans love.
For the prices, the servings are just right.
The first time I ever went I remember ordering the walnut, garlic and mushroom pizza, and this is what I order every single time. Everytime I invite someone to try a piece, they adore it too. I find it impossible to believe that there exists someone who would not fall in love with this pizza just as I did. 😍
The ONLY reason I did not give it a full 5/5 is because I haven't tasted enough on the menu to know, but I fully intend to!
Keep doing what you're doing, Gino's ❤
Love their pizza love their burrata caprese love their salted egg pasta ❤❤❤ got their pesto pasta once which may I say is the most unique I have ever had.
Get on with the Brick Oven Wagon
Conveniently located in Salcedo Village and pretty close to our office, this is a perfect place to unwind and have a carbs-coma with friends!
The food is always great! Whatever pizza toppings you order, you'll get high quality, scrumptious dough that is brick oven-baked to perfection! Their pasta are always al dente and is good to share.
The only downside is that most of the time, the line to get in during dinner time so the 4 times we've been here is a long wait. The 5th and succeeding times, we learned our lesson to come in between 5PM - 6PM.
Whenever you are in salcedo, don't forget to try this place 😊
I’ve been here like, 5 times already! And I never get tired of eating their dishes!
My top picks:
For Salad
- House Salad with Burrata
- Summer Salad with Burrata
For Pizza
- Prosciutto
- SMEGG
For Pasta
- Salted Egg
- Lemon Mushroom
- Bacon Sausage
- Carbonara
And always add extra BREAD! hahaha it’s sooo good with the burrata cheese 🤤🤤🤤
Ambience 5/5 = Neat & Clean
Food 4.5/5 = Ordered aglio olio with serving as good as 6 bites and which I believe is kinda pricey for the serving size, salted egg pasta which is kinda good but would be better if a little bit spicy, and Prosciutto which I find really really tasty because the thin slice of meat and kesong puti really goes well together and the pizza was perfectly cooked. And btw their iced tea is surprisingly delicious!
Service 5/5 = I don't think we've waited that long for our food to arrive and their staff is really nice.
The Margherita with Buffalo Mozzarella and Bolognese Pasta is a fave! Really good homemade pastas. Also love that they allow customers to bring wine, with the first bottle being corkage free.

I've been craving for a gourmet pizza so I invited my boyfriend to go here. I went here before but Its been a long time. I ordered carbonara, my boyfriend ordered Salted Egg and we ordered Panna Sausage for the Pizza. The service is amazing, the ambiance is very intimate and the place can be really full. The food was amazing I love both of the pastas, and the pizza is so mind blowing. The spicy honey for the pizza is just alright, I prefer Tabasco. Overall it's a 5 for me for sure and me and my boyfriend had a great time, I'll definitely go back as soon as possible.
Salted egg pasta and buffalo pizza are to DIE FOR!!!! I would love to come back here asap!!!!!! Cant wait..
P.S. Wifi is sooo good perfect if u are a student and finding a place to study... coffee is too strong as well ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Are you craving for brick-baked pizzas? Or pastas that will make you feel like you're in Italy? Well, Gino's Brick Oven Pizza can quench that cravings.
Located at Salcedo village, Makati city, Gino's Brick Oven Pizza was one of the best restaurants I have ever dined in. The place was very rustic & warm; It has a nice yummy smell too. From the moment you enter the restaurant, you can already smell the toasted garlic and cooked parmigiano reggiano. The scent of melted butter and toasted dough lingers together with marinara sauce of the pasta can make you so excited. If you don't get hungry from that then I'm not sure what else to tell.
From all the food from their menu, I highly recommend their Burrata with House Salad. The taste of the salad was sweet, sour, and slightly salty. The saltiness was from their creamy burrata. If you eat it altogether with their fresh greens, caramelized walnuts, and dried figs, it can make you feel like you're eating on the top of the mountain with cold breeze blowing you.
Butter Parmigiano pasta was also one of my favorites in their menu that really struck me. Only four ingredients - just 4 ingredients can make you forget all the pastas you have eaten before. The taste of it was savory and sinful yet very delicious; no condiments needed, except for their spicy honey.
Our visit in this restaurant won't be fulfilling if we did not try their pizzas. We tried Bianca verde and four cheese pizzas. Their pizzas were thin crusted with slightly burnt ends. Bianca verde tasted a little bitter from its basil leaves that were the toppings for subtle saltiness of the pizza. Their four cheese pizza was unforgettable. The taste of it was different from the other four cheese pizzas you've ever tried before. Pizza with tomato sauce topped with mozzarella, parmesan, ricotta, and most especially blue cheese will make this a must on your list.
All of the waiters were very accommodating. They were very nice and kind that they can make you feel so important. From their food to their service, there's a lot to try in this restaurant. One of them is their very own spicy honey condiment. We've smeared everything with it. Trust me; it's all good! LOL
Thank you Gino's Brick Oven Pizza for a wonderful dining experience!
Review as of November 2017

while i find the burrata too expensive, their pizzas and pastas are really affordable.

Nothing else could be said for Gino's that hasn't been said before. Everything scores a 10/10. Just order anything really. If you haven't been here, why?
PLACE:
Nice and cozy.
FOOD:
SMEGG: This is actually quite good. I just thought it might be better if egg's yolk is still runny. Their honey makes it so much better.
Bacon Gouda: This is really GOOD-ah. Hahaha. There's a generous amount of yummy bacon ( Yes, bacon with translucent fat on the side. Haha) Put some honey on every bite and you would surely love this. Their honey is like a love potion. It makes you love the dish so much.
PRICE:
Quite pricey but kinda worth it. (Thanks to their honey hahaha)
SERVICE:
Friendly and accommodating staff.
VERDICT:
Did I enjoy it? -Yes
Will I recommend it? - Yes
WillI come back? - Yes
The fact that the food served here in Gino's is fresh is super plus points for me. I love their Burrata, Pastas and Pizzas, and the unique Chocolate Chicharon!
We ordered pesto pasta and four cheese pizza for dinner. The orders were served cold :( It sure tasted good but the experience was not WOW because it seemed like the food had been waiting even before we ordered.
The best ever pizza I've tried here in the city. Space is small but I think it's enough to accommodate its targeted market. Aside from pizza, their pasta is also great! And of course, their Spicy Honey sauce is the one that will keep you coming back to this place.
