I visited your Makati branch earlier today and ordered the Spicy Lechon meal for lunch. I liked it because of the flavor and the crispy skin. Crew members are also very kind and accommodating.
I will surely come back there one of these days.

When we used to frequent Rub Ribs & BBQ, I always noticed Tatang's just across the street. One time, I finally had the time to give them a try only to find out they were out of stock. Another attempt still didn't feel sure at first, and I went in and tried ordering the Lechon Classic. The nice lady I spoke with accepted me as their last customer for the day and found a way to get me something non-spicy. Awesome!

Their establishment was really tiny, so tiny that it seemed meant for take-outs rather than dine-ins.
FOOD
Lechon Classic was amazing! Since they served their lechon Cebu-style, my order came with lemongrass within the meat. That gave me such an appetizing and refreshing experience in every bite. I didn't even need sauces or dips (though I had a little bit of soy sauce). Skin was thin and crunchy yet easy to bite through and had tolerable saltiness. Meat was tender and everything was easy to cut.

When craving for Lechon belly this is the place to be. Ordered half original and half spicy, imo the spicy is more tasty than the original. Its very affordable if its for sharing. You can also order their set solo meals. We'll surely go back for more. The place gets crowded easily so come early for lunch or go during off-peak hours during the day.
So glad I don't need to travel to Cebu to taste Tatang's famous Lechon belly (think, Porchetta) since they opened several branches in Manila.
The premium produce here is the Boneless 'Cebu-style' Roast Lechon Belly with Classic and Spicy options. A whole order comes in different kilo sizes: 1/4 kilo, 1/2 kilo, 3/4 kilo, 1 kilo; the largest is 1 whole slab of belly that weighs around 3.5 kilos.
A lot of places in Manila offers Lechon Belly Cebu-style but in my opinion, nothing can replicate the taste of Tatang's. The meat is flavourful enough on its own and the skin always comes out extra crispy!
Some branches also serve other Lechon dishes such as Lechon sisig, Lechon Paksiw, Lechon Sinigang, and Lechon Dinuguan. This lcoation offer delivery via GrabFood for orders over Php300 (delivery charges apply).
I only got to taste the Lechon Belly from this Tatang's branch when friends bring it to our potluck parties. And I must admit that it is really good!
The skin is nice and crispy! Make sure you eat it freshly made from this branch. If not properly handled, the skin will lose its crispiness.
The meat is flavorful and juicy. The marinade makes its way through all the meat and not just from the center.
I would just improve their dipping sauce. Maybe add some more chilies and a pinch of sugar.
Best Lechon that I’ve tried here in Manila. So tasty and less greasy. We have the spicy one. You can taste the herbs and it’s sooo good! We didn’t eat here and we asked our friend to buy for one. 1 kg and it’s good for 6 people. Definitely gonna order again

I’ve only ever had food delivered by Tatang’s so I can’t speak of the ambience, staff etc. Anyway Tatang’s has one of the best lechons here in Makati, this came highly recommended. You can order lechon by weight - the spicy lechon and garlic rice is a hard combo to beat. Order came with vinegar (which I’m told is the usual way Cebuanos eat their lechon) and it’s really good with the pork. Skin was so crispy and lean while the meat was flavorful from whatever herbs or marinade they used. I think you can also pre-order for special occasions.
This is LECHON... one of the best I’ve had. Do try the vinegar dip as it enhances the taste of the meat further. I prefer to have a mix of both the plain and spicy variation. Their lechon has less of the grease, hence less of the guilt. It’s a license to eat up which is definitely a super plus for me!
Photo may not look appetizing, but damn! That pork belly rocked my tummy! It's full of flavor and the skin was sooo crunchy! Only downside is, they offer vinegar as a dip. I love me some lechon sauce! Nonetheless, I enjoyed the food. A great way to spend your Php110!
