It was my first time going to the place. I ordered the Shiratama Sundae (Houjicha) and Strawberry Shortcake. The mochi they put on the sundae is really something. The red bean made the dessert super sweet which is complementary to the Houjicha. It balances out the taste. The Strawberry Shortcake was made with perfection. All in all, it was a good experience.
Delicious and authentic. Their soft serve is very smooth and creamy. Recipe is perfect. Brings back memories from Japan. Quality succeeds 5 stars.
However, expensive prices and take-out paper cups that are smaller than their dine-in glasses bring the overall experience down to 4 stars.
If lover ka ng matcha, super okay dito!! Love the drink!! Tama lang yung taste!! Ganda pa ng place and ambiance!! Plus merong outlets sa side to charge phones!!
I've tried their bestseller, Citronee Matcha cake and I must say, it is one good cake. It is moist, not too sweet and refreshing. Their Houjicha tea is also a must try.
Ambience 5/5 Loved the green and black modern interiors, it's very soothing to the eye. The seats are also comfortable and make a good workspace.
Food 4/5 I'm not really a matcha fan but I liked the sundae affogato. I just found the serving size too small for its price (esp it's just close to Pablo and there are also BLK 513 and Llao Llao as other good options for dessert)
I am so happy to fall in love with matcha at the right time, with so many places offering matcha on their menu, it’s so easy to get my matcha fix.
But nothing beats Tsujiri. Yes the price may be a bit expensive, but for a legit matcha experience, be sure to drop by this place.
We had the matcha milk, it’s milkshake with matcha soft ice cream on top. Very creamy, and you get that distinct bittersweet taste of matcha. So sooo good!
So I've found this matcha haven in Greenbelt. I first tried their Tsujiri sundae. The taste was just right for me. Not so bland, not so sweet. The included ingredients taste good. I guess I should try mixing it before eating next time?
For their round cakes, I can say the taste is just average but I really like the texture. Matcha Blanca is a good try. They also have another pastry called Matcha Lava Overload if I was not mistaken. Now this is the real deal. A cake filled with warm matcha syrup (whatever it is) inside! They also have a vanilla version of this.
For their drinks, I tried their O-Matcha, Matcha latte (with and without kinako), and their Yuzu citron tea (really good for my cold that time). Again, the taste was just right for me. They serve it just in the right temperature which is very important for me. With the right taste and temperature, I find it really relaxing.
Overall, you can really see the quality of the ingredients and the preparation of their food. The ambience is good and the people are friendly.
An important thing is, they don't just serve Japanese cakes and drinks. But you can feel the Japanese touch from the ambience, to the menu, to the way they serve it, all the way to the taste. Sorry I'm kinda bias with Japanese/matcha restaurants :)
The matcha in the sundaes are very strong. Get the milk-basef Floats if you prefer them sweeter. Nice interiors with few seats but generally still great for hanging out.
They offer to put your orders in glasses if you dine-in.
Good ice cream and was complimented by the red bean and cereal however the chiffon cake that came with it was very dry and lacking in flavor. I also tried the chocolate cake and didn’t like it at all. Recommend just sticking with the ice cream which was delicious
