Classic Philly Cheese Steak 7" is good! The quality of their beef and cheese still stand out, making their cheese steak's flavor legit. My last and last last visit are years apart and the food quality was still the same. It was also nice to get to talk with Manager Diane; she was friendly and informative about their business. Chicken is next on my list!
You can also watch television here but you should face towards the entrance windows. Parking space is kinda limited but I suggest trying around the place; I wouldn't even mind parking at Makati Cinema Square and walking. It gives me a reason to visit Dunkin Donuts. π

you can never go wrong with the classic philly cheesesteak. if you want to be sinful add some bacon! haha then pair it with cajun fries and a soda.

The Good
I'm not from Philly but I've been there a ton of times, eaten out of the best food trucks and all that. This is not that kind of cheese steak, this is more of a west coast diner style cheese steak. That said this is, by far, the best cheese steak in the Philippines. I know that is not saying much, but its still really good for this country.Β
For watching sports with a beer, I really like and recommend the nachos in this restaurant. No other nachos I've had in the Philippines uses decent quality beef at this price point. However, you need to add Β some salsa, sour cream and guacamole yourself, so best for take out/delivery.
Their Italian hoagie is really good. Premium imported meats in great quality, actually tastes like a sub I might pickup at a corner deli when I lived in Manhattan. If my day is going to be crazy, I sometime pick one up to stash in my office ref to lunch while I work.
Price is really good here, bordering on cheap. For imported US meat cheese steaks, other places are charging double for lesser quality/quantity. Most of their menu items, aside from fries and a couple other items, I consider cheap or fair for the quality. Not all, but most.
The Neutral
I went to college in Ithaca and I've lived where its grey. I know and have gone around Western NY, I've eaten Garbage Plates, been to many a Bills game in the tundra so I know what the best world standard Buffalo Wings taste like. The Buffalo wings here are not great. They are more like the wings you get in Northern California. They are passable but we've got much better wings here (finally!) However, the wings are cheap comparatively, so I still buy them sometimes when I don't need great wings.Β
The Not so Good
The meat ball sub is really disappointing. When I ordered it I was expecting a normal sauce and mozzarella sub. Instead I got some weird thing made of dry meatballs, drenched in yellow cheese sauce in a hard roll. WTH is that?
The parking here is terrible. If you have any kind of large SUV and no driver, just skip this place. Even a mid sized SUV is a very tight fit. Its better on the rare times their food trucks are out, but most of the time this parking lot is the worst in Makati.
I always see this when going down the Skyway. So with a long lunch break I decided to walk here.
Ordered the 7" 4 cheese cheese steak sandwich and the bacon and cheese mac and cheese. Everything for take out. The sandwich was a bit overpriced at Php 320 but nonetheless delicious. The mac and cheese was amazing I wish the portion was bigger for Php125.
The staff were accommodating and very polite.
Would I come back here? Or at least order for delivery? Definitely.
Good flavors - tasty beef, easily combo'd with chili, cheese, and bacon - but a bit thin on the filling. At P320, I didn't feel it was sufficient.
The deep fried Oreos, served nicely a la mode, were not freshly made, so I was a bit disappointed - only a bit.Β
A nice addition to the neighborhood. They should do a bit more to promote their presence, as their location isn't easily noticed by pedestrians walking on Amorsolo, and they only have a few parking spots, accessible from the rear side of their building.
Authentic and well worth the price. This is for real Philly Cheesesteak fans, plenty of meat great peppers and the cheese was plentiful. I wish they had more locations. The even have a rice menu for those who cannot live without or know how to eat a sandwich. Great selection of sizes and variations.
The menu is quite simple and direct, which is great. The Cheese Steaks are AWESOME! I have high expectations for my Philly cheese steaks, and The Cheese Steak Shop definitely, definitely delivered.Β
My friend and I walked in as they were closing and already had chairs on the tables. They still served us with excellent attitudes even though you could tell they were exhausted from a long day.Β
I ordered the Classic Philly cheese steak with onions and peppers. The steak was seasoned to perfection and the soft Italian roll hit the spot right. Best cheese steak I've had and fantastic customer service to make the experience all-around superb.
Now with rice meals, The Cheesesteak Shop Manila maintained its quality and taste. I love their classic philly cheesesteak sandwiches with loads of free chili peppers on the side. The zing of sweet and spicy pickled peppers brought me to bliss instantly.
Hoagies that melt in the mouth! To go or for dine in wont go wrong with cheese steak. All bread and ingredients are imported from Philly! Try this resto for a cheesy meal #yummiez
