Still one of the best Japanese restos around. Their seafood which is flown in from Japan is very fresh and top quality.

Great ambiance. Great quality. Good food. Always fully booked. Just feels like overpriced every time I come here. Service also sucked.

A classic staple for Japanese food in the makati area that never disappoints. Coming into the restaurant makes me feel like I am back in Japan. The service is very good and the staff are friendly. As usual the food is delicious and always satisfies. The sashimi and sushi is always fresh and of highest quality and the meats are mouth watering. Although pricey I would say it is a meal that is worth it if you are looking for exceptional Japanese cuisine.

Our ordered:
- Maki roll
- Inari sushi
- Sukiyaki beef
- Beef tenderloin set

The atmosphere is like bring us back to Japan, we did enjoy the atmosphere there.
After the waitress took us the order, and we still looked what we want to order again, she just go away without asking us, whats the manner and also when I go to the cashier for payment, she throw my card instead put politely as usual, this is the first time I saw the cashier like that, hope the management concerns about the attitude.
Beside of that, the others waitress are super friendly.
The food is great and worth for the price.

I love their Sukiyaki, Wagyu rib eye steak and sashimi. It is very fresh, good service and great ambience but very pricey Japanese place. But totally worth it. I love the freshness of their sashimi and all the ingredients they placed on all the dishes we have ordered. I have been here 4 times and the quality never change and it amazes me!

Big fan here, been here a few times before but went with company today so ordered a little extra. Usually I come alone for a quick lunch, but even when ordering more, the service is always on point. The quality of the sushi and sashimi is consistent and ofc the wagyu, expensive but worth it once in a while. The soba wasn't as good this times, felt a bit hard and really hard to pull apart. Overall, would recommend!

Tsukiji is the number 1 japanese restaurant in the philippines! Fresh seafood. Great japanese food. Daimyo chirashi gives you the most value for your money for 1200. They have a secret menu. Its called the tagle special, its a chirashi with all the.premium fish served in a bowl with another bowl below it thats filled with uni and ikura. Grilled beef is also good. Ramen selection is not bad. Great liquor selection.

We ordered from the set menu. The oysters were excellent. It came with miso soup, sashimi and some salad. The overall quality of the food was excellent. It wasn’t cheap, but I personally believe that it was worth the price. I could argue that Tsukiji serves some of the best authentic Japanese food in the Philippines. I’ll definitely be coming back here in the future.

P.S. You can order halo-halo from Milky Way and they’ll serve it to you in Tsukiji. The halo-halo was also a 10/10.

I’m a big fan of sashimi, and Tsujiki went above and beyond expectations. We had salmon, yellowfin, and fatty tuna belly sashimi (really great). After which we had Emperor Soup, and Wagyu Ribeye. For dessert I had red bean ice cream and matcha ice cream (the red bean was better in my opinion and probably the best ice cream i’ve ever had). The 12-year aged Suntory Yamazaki whiskey was also truly exquisite with nice oaky and woody notes and a slight hint of something fruity; went down smoothly and had a really good aftertaste as well. Would definitely come back for a special occasion!

We had lunch here for our anniversary last January. Supreme quality food. The people there were serving for years and they know what they're doing. Great fresh selection of in season yellowfin chirazi and tuna from Tsukiji Japan. Would definitely come back again.

The only kind of diet I’ll follow— the seefood diet. 😂 Kidding aside, I got actual seafood this time: Kaki Furai Teishoku from here. This is actually part of their lunch set, which includes Tuna Sashimi, Miso Soup, Rice and some side dishes. 😊 It’s essentially Fried Breaded Oysters that’s best enjoyed with a spritz of lemon on top since it brings together the saltiness of the crispy batter, and the creaminess of the oyster. ❤️

Honeslty the best sushi place in Manila. The sashimi is incredibly fresh! It'll make you wonder if previous sashimi were even fish because they just don't compare. Really pricey though, so unfortunately can't come here on a weekly basis.

One of the best authentic Japanese restaurants in Manila! A bit pricey however I consider it the best. Their ingredients are all fresh from Japan and their Japanese chef hand picks all the ingredients. Recommended is the chuttoro sashimi and the ribeye steak in the sizzling plate. Ambiance is good and gives off a vibe like you are in a Japanese home. Staff is friendly but there are some who are masungit.

Hands down the best sashimi you can get in Manila.

I know, I know. Food at Tsukiji is pricey, especially when compared to its more student-friendly neighbor, Nihonbashitei, but the price is worth the quality of the fish and meat you receive. My favorite meals to order at the restaurant are their barbecue sets, sashimi platter, and mixed tempura. Definitely a must-try!

I'm working for a Jap company and my bosses really like this place. We ordered different kinds of food, sashimi platter (actually that's all I can remember). But seriously, if you want an authentic Japanese experience. Try it here although, it's not for everyone since it's quite expensive.

Favorite Japanese resto ever!!

I've been eating here for 12 years now and I would say that the quality of the food never changes.
Still has the best emperor soup, super karubi beef, sushi, sashimi and more.

If you want to have a taste of authentic Japanese food, this is the right place for you!

Very good and well known Japanese restaurant that has preserved a hight standard of freshness and quality al these years. Pricey so go if you have important guests or a special occasion. Try their toro sushi, and emperor soup. The beef is of course good, and the sashimi and sushi will not disappoint. A great place for a quality Japanese meal.

Authentic Japanese restaurant at its best! Once you enter, you can instantly feel the Japanese ambiance. From their fresh sashimi to their chicken teriyaki, this restaurant is always on point. Some of the must-try dishes include their hamachi head, chicken teriyaki, fried rice, beef soup (this serving can serve up to 2-3 people), and ebi tempura. However, don't be deceived by these flavorful dishes as they all come with a price! For dessert, try to ask for the chocolate cake from the Milky Way. They'll be more than glad to help you bring the delicious cake from the lower floors to your table. :)

Expensive, yes. But if you have the money to spend and you love traditional Japanese food, you should give Tsukiji a visit. Tsukiji never disappoints. Their meat for grilling (esp. the super special set!) literally melts in your mouth...every time. Consistent in terms of excellent service and top quality food, It is worth a visit on special occasions.

See that marbling on that steak? One of the many reasons Tsukiji is still one of the best go to japanese places in the metro.

We ordered our usual sashimi for appetizer (always fresh), the beef sukiyaki which was generously filled with the best ingredients (the soup base has the right mix of sweet and salty - other places just have very sweet soup), the mixed and who tempura (which was still crunchy despite it being on the table for more than an hour) and the definite star of the lunch table was the very well marbled Wagyu steak (melts in your mouth goodness!)

Worth all the calories!! :)

We've been trying to go to this place though its far from our place and we didnt have the chance to do so. Now, the time has come to finally set a date for this experience. We've been reading good reviews about this place so its time to prove it. The place is really like an authentic japanese restaurant wherein they have this cubicle/rooms where you have to remove your shoes to dine. They also have the regular tables if you wish . I can tell that this will be good because i can see a real japanese chef on duty. We ordered this set of sashimi which consists of a fresh sea urchin, tuna sashimi, white tuna(i think),scallops, roe, sweet raw shrimp, salmon and i just dont remember the other fish...it is really really fresh, sweet and good.we can say that this is the freshest and the best sashimi's we've ever tasted here. The sea urchin is really fresh and sweet, the fish is firm and sweet, the scallop is very divine and absolutely delicious, their tuna is really really fresh. I just dont like the roe being too salty though. We also ordered mixed tempura and katsudon though the highlight really is the freshness of the sashimi.......kudos to tsukiji and you didnt disappoint us.

It's been years since I've last dined here. This is surely one of the best Japanese restaurants in town, but it may cost you an arm and a leg. But the best way to enjoy excellent Japanese food is to order their imported items. I really enjoyed their daikon salad and their grilled wagyu meat items (yakiniku style). Last time I dined there, their simple maguro sashimi was about P500++ per order. It was about the only thing that didn't impress me as the sashimi was fibrous (white "litid") and wasn't melt in your mouth. Expect to pay some P2,500 per head to enjoy a good meal here.

One of the best Japanese resto in town. Their sashimis are my benchmark. This is were I first tasted Kampachi. It is to die for! The price is steep through. One of the hallmark of a good restaurant is consistency. Tsukiji has proven to be so.
