The price may be off putting especially to those who are used to buffet but the prompt courteous service, cozy (but humid) ambiance and most specially the tasty and generous serving of food justifies the price.👌🏼
FYI: There’s a bar inside if you want to grab a drink with friends.

Could probably be one of my best night outs with friends!
Eating various menu items at Lazy Bastard, all of which passed our humble tastebuds! Being a chillidog lover, I would say it was the winner for the night.
Visit them on Tuesday night and you'll get the place to yourselves making an intimate place to catch up with long time friends.
The staff and crew were also cool.
Jesus Christ! Oh wow! Etc... The many things we humans say when we are amazed with something else. Lazy Bastard is well known for their burgers, and dogs. Their grub has taken people up to that amazing moment. They took it a step further with a new item on their menu, and named their genius burger concoction, ‘Cheesus Crust.’
The burger consists of the beef patty, jalapeños, and a huge cheese crust instead of the standard cheese slice. With Lazy Bastard being known as a bacon place—long live bacon— obviously I needed to have bacon in my burger, so I added some in my order.
The picture on the wall seemed really appetizing. Just one look at it and ordered it right away, forgetting about my original plan for the Bacon Cheeseburger. As always, or rather in most cases, false advertising. It wasn’t the usual bad false advertising but a good one. You see my fellow foodies, the cheese crust was way bigger than that of the one in the picture. It was as freaking big as a cutting-board! I’m not kidding! When I saw the waiter come out of the kitchen with my order, the exact words that came out of my mouth was, ‘Jesus Christ!’ Then the waiter corrected me and said, ‘Cheesus Crust.’
I was in complete shock when I saw the enormousness of my order. My brain was trying to figure out how to tackle eating it. Getting to the burger part seemed impossible but thankfully the cheese looked more than appetising I definitely had to take a bite of it first. So after a few rips and bites of cheese, I finally got halfway through it and got a huge bite of my burger.
First, the cheese was really good. Not nakakaumay, not overly salty, but very oily. It’s a given since the fat seeps out of the cheese with it’s cooking process. The slightly burned/charred parts at the edge were my fave. Secondly, the burger was really good. Slightly pinkish color in the middle shows how it was perfectly cooked.
I added P90 and upgraded my ala carte burger to a meal, the Calamantea juice and onion rings as my side. The onion rings were huge, however they were bland. The batter needs more salt. Calamantea is their home-brewed iced-tea, and it was super refreshing. Not overly sweet. I would even say that it is my iced-tea of choice. Wish I could just buy it commercially.
Food: 4.5 - It would have been a perfect 5, but the onion rings weren’t perfect.
Price: 4.0 - Steep. My burger alone cost P550 without the added bacon.
Service: 5.0 - Friendly staff. Even if my burger was cooked to order, it came out faster than I expected.
Ambience: 3.5 - Dark chilled back placed. Feels like a bar. If I’m not mistaken, there is a speakeasy through the other door. Not PWD friendly though. Stair handles are halfway down, and I did’t see an elevator.
Next time, I really should try one of their dogs. And at the end of my meal... I finished the entire burger! On the other hand, I had to take the leftover onion rings back to work. I could feel my arteries clog after my meal. LOL!
What more can i say? perfect place for your lunch or after drinks munchies! I always order the pancake burger with sausages and eggs!it always hits the spot! Combination of sweet and salty burger is my favorite
Ambiance of the place is very casual. Menu is creative and visual.
The burgers are classic, big and juicy.
Hotdog sandwiches are the star here! Try the bacon wrapped one.
I also ordered their sloppy joe, it was a bit disappointing, too strong on pepper, sort of overmasks the overall flavor.
Try opening that door you'll see on their side.
I love the simplicity of the place. Cheeseburger is so tasty but the onion rings are a little bit bland for my liking. Hotdogs are tasty too.
C'mon. How can big burgers and huge onion rings go wrong in any sort of way?! My workmates and I love this place when we fell like splurging on good food. I must say, lazy bastard is by far the best burger I have tasted here in Manila. And their house tea. Hands down.
Update 2.18.2019 - it is with a heavy heart to say that Lazy Bastard Bel-air is closed. I've tried asking neighboring shops when will they re-open, since they've been closed in january (I thought for renovations). But they said no one comes in there anymore. 😭
This is a great place that has great food especially if you're crazing for something a little oily. Try the Parmesan Dog here! It's really good. It's a little sweet but it hits the right spot. 😍
At last, i was able to visit this place. i love hotdog sandwiches and this place did not disappoint. i tried the chilidog and their famous honey parmesan hotdog. both were good but I enjoyed the chilidog more. The place was really clean and the lady at the counter was polite. Only hitch was they only applied my PWD discount on one hotdog and a sarsi instead of my whole meal! would have given a five star rating, not that big of a deal. Overall, I would recommend this place and would come back to try their other menu items.
I've been hearing a lot about Lazy Bastard and it has ratings in Zomato so, we really expected more of what we actually experienced. The place was too small, not a place for you to chill and hangout. Its a place for those who just want to eat and go. Were not lucky enough to try their Calamantea and milkshakes because it wqs unavailable at the time we went so, instead of ordering the combo, we just ordered separate side dishes. All their foods was served in a foil.
Fries was seved on a brownbag which you can readily eat for take out. The fries was fries, simple.
Table for: 1-2 persons
Food Rating: 3.5/5
Sloppy Joe - it was a simple Sloppy Joe with no pretensions as what the restaurant's theme is all about. It was composed of ground beef, onions and Lazy Bastard's specialty sauce. It was messy to eat, that's why it's called "sloppy". The bread used was a soft, pillowy potato bun which makes it unique. The potato bun was good and was really soft but I find its filling a bit too oily and I can say that the taste was just okay.
Table for: 1
Food Rating: 3.5/5
Hamburger - the burger was also just okay. Maybe we should have added more sides. I don't know. Maybe we expected too much. But oh well, if we're going to order burger next time, we will go to other well-known burger joints in the City.
Tablw for: 1
Food Rating: 3/5
Ambiance: 3.5/5
Service: 5/5
Value for Money: 3.5/5
I don't know, maybe we should have tried their bestselling Bacon Cheeseburger or the Honey Parmesan Dog but at the moment, we don't feel like eating those maybe next time, if we will return.
Great service. Easy vibe in the place with minimal fuss. Had the Chili hotdog and it was very satisfying. Try the bacon wrapped tots as well.
Ordered the cheeseburger plus onion rings and Calamantea. While my friend ordered the Vanilla Milkshake plus fries. I love the burger! The patty is not greasy at all, and it is very filling. We also enjoyed the sides-onion and fries!! And my friend enjoyed their thick vanilla milk shake! The calamantea is very refreshing! Really perfect for their meals!
Lazy Bastard’s TATER BOMBS are the best! I can eat just this for the rest of my life. Their burgers and hotdogs are also must-try’s. Also, there’s a secret bar in their Bel-Air branch if you wanna just chill and drink with friends.

Pardon me if I can't name names all the food that we ate last Friday as the girl forgot to give us our receipt. She promised to hand it over in a few but...🔲
So the best thing that ever happened to us here was the Calamantea...💐💐💐 taste even better than my fave Libertea.
The cheeseburger I had ordered was a bit pricey for the prize even the hotdogs that my kids had. Although I think thw beef was pure beef if you know what I mean...
The place is clean but small. So just go here to grab a quick meal. Lucky you if there are a few vacant seats still so you could hang out for a while😊
It was a small space. It is located at a basement of Yamato Restaurant (Jupiter St. corner Galaxy St., Makati City). At first we were hesitant to go down because it is very unlikely to have a restaurant at the basement. But we were astonished when we entered. It felt like we were transferred to a different era. Very Riverdale-ish ambiance.
Food was great! I ordered Umami burger. It is basically a quarter pound burger (I think) with mushroom and caramelized onions. It was a bit dry but very filling and yummy. Their milkshake is the bomb! It is very rich tasting. Reminds me of the classic chocolate milkshake from Shakey's. Their Tater bombs is a must-try as well!
Overall, I had a great night! Will definitely go back with more friends! 👍

My boyfriend and I's go to chill burger place in Jupiter. This restaurant is located at the underground floor of 22 Jupiter Bldg. Beside the restaurant is a secret bar which you will be needing a password for you to be able to get in. 😊
Their burgers are well prepared and wrapped in a foil upon serving to the customers. Ambiance is great but the place is small.
Must Try: Tater Tots and Honey Paremsan Dog 👌
Best hotdog sandwich I've ever tasted! Esp kimchi dog - which is my ultimate guilty pleasure. Super love their Totchos, Calamantea and milkshakes as well. Perfect score for me 😋

If you're looking for a new place to dine in this is a must visit place. I love how the concept of underground restaurants but there's just a problem with the space inside the restaurant it's a bit small. But the food was very delicious. 😋😋👍🏻
Love the name of this restaurant its common name yet super cool. Very small place they have 3 standard tables and one very long table you can also count they chairs so it is easily crowded. The ambiance is very western just like in the movies and the best part is its a self service restaurant.. It makes sense "Lazy Bastard" Haha 😂 the foods are very westernized such as milkshakes, hamburgers, fries and etc. It the taste was fine nothing special on the menu but totally worth it. Negative for me was again the parking lot and comfort room because they only have one snd and that's for all all the customers. Sal Amil
Lazy B is no stranger to me. I always swing by their UPTC branch whenever i am in the area. CMA loves their cheeseburger so much to a point that he rides his bike from 'Kina to Katips for a bite.
Anyway, Lazy B is the fourth stop of our FoodSociety PH's Poblacion Food Crawl. Our clients were half-full from the first thee restaurants we visited but they all seem excited with lazy b. I too was excited hence i decided to grab a bite.
Honey Parmesan Hotdog. Wow. This is not the usual sandwich you find anywhere. The hotdog is wrapped in bacon and oozes with meaty goodness. The parmesan shreds x honey is a wonderful play on flavor and textures that made the sandwich 10x better. I absolutely loved every single bite and i found myself craving for more.
Yes yes yes!
Thank God it's Friday, those were the words we expressed while spending our night at Lazy Bastard after work.
I like how they constructed the sign board and felt like I was in a bar in US. The space wasn't that wide and there were only few chairs and tables. I guess, they can't accomodate a group of friends.
Although it was a bit hard for us to find the place, got lost around Bel-air and got tired, they made sure to make us feel comfortable while sitting and waiting until we get our orders.
Burgers were superb! Tomatoes, onions and lettuce were all fresh. I like how juicy the patties too! Their pricing is reasonable.
It was such a good experince with my co-workers. We really had fun here!
Being American expats, my sister and I wanted to have some good ol' "burgers and dogs" to celebrate the 4th of July. Came here on an early Tuesday afternoon with our mom. The place was smaller than I expected (not counting the extra hidden room). No problem, though, as the place was empty when we first arrived. I had read the descriptions of the menu items before we went but couldn't remember them all and they weren't on the chalkboard menu. The cashier was kind enough to explain them to us. We ordered: Chili Dog combo’d with Fries and Calamantea, Breakfast Sandwich (I opted for buttered toast outside and avocado, hash brown, cheese, and over medium egg on the inside) combo’d with Onion Rings and Calamantea, Popcorn Chicken, and Royal soda. Chili Dog wasn’t great, but it was good. We asked for chopped onions on top, which they forgot, but were happy enough to provide when we asked again. Fries would’ve been perfect if they weren’t so salty. Calamantea was a nice, refreshing drink. The Breakfast Sandwich was between good and great. They only have American cheese, and it was a skinny slice (I like thick cheddar). But the egg was cooked PERFECTLY! It’s hard to find any place that knows how to do over medium right. Onion Rings were good but could’ve used some sort of seasoning. And the Popcorn Chicken was ok. Prices are reasonable and fair (but I might be biased having just returned from the States where everything, of course, is more expensive). Will I crave a return to this place? Probably not. But would I be willing to go here again? Sure.
Saturday cheat day!
Back to this nook in Jupiter St.. But its my 1st time to dine. Lazy Bastard is situated in a basement.. literally. (Right after Yamato). The place is like what I saw in movies.. more like New York pubs ambiance. Signage outside : Bacon And Burgers This Way, is eye catching.
The place is small, not really for big groups. I noticed most of their customers have take outs. We are lucky to get a table when we came in. I am excited and thrilled to try this burger & hotdog joint, its like a talk of the town in different food reviews.
I had the Bacon Cheeseburger. (P260) its flame grilled! Thick patty with crispy bacon weave. It tasted like my favorite burger : Charlie's👍🏽 i love it! Serving size? Hmmm enough for my appetite 😊
My companion is bragging about his order. Which Happens to be one of their best seller, as confirmed with a crew. Its the Honey Parmesan Dog (P220), it has shaved Parmesan cheese, honey drips and arugula. I get to it and its something new for me. Savory + sweet is a perfect combination. And by the way it has juicy hotdog.
For drinks, we tried their new, Calamantea (P60) its like a brewed iced tea. Its good!
Verdict: quite pricey esp the honey parmesan, since its not that big (quite bitin), but for sure you get the quality of taste that's worth the price👌🏼i love everything!
Lazy Bastard is my favorite place to go to with my friends, especially when we want to go on a midnight snack/burger run. Their burgers are juicy and worth the carbs!! HAHA Their hotdogs are pretty good too.
My friends and I also enjoy the ambiance of the place. Although, sometimes it may get a bit crowded depending on the time you go there, but it's still pretty worth it 💞

The food was tasty and delicious. The food that stand out the most was the Avocadog. The avocado compliments the sauce and made it creamy and flavorful.

Honey Parmesan Hotdog - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5
"I really love the combination of this hotdog sandwich. The sweetness of the honey balances the taste of parmesan and the hotdog."
#ilovetoeatph 😃❤️
Nice place. The patty is fine, not too oily tho prices have already increased. Nice play to bring friends with you. Their staff is very accomodating, may magic tricks pa haha. Intrigued by the secret bar too.
Hopefully will come back again here.
My ideal place for comfort food! If only I can eat here everyday for the rest of my life. If you are a burger addict like me, you guys gotta check this place out.
The signage is indirect. It says "Bacon and Burgers This Way" on the entrance. You cannot see the LAZY BASTARD if your stupid. I know it's a startegy, but quite misleading on that part because we wont be able to get there if it werent because of my gf. She found it. ❤ The burgers are juicy and orgasmic, perfect with mustard and ketchup. Fries as the side dish, and calamantea as the drink complete the bastard experience 😂 way better than Army Navy and Zark's. Actually we went there because my genius gf heard from a friend about a secret place. Yes it's actually a place, not an entrance nor an elevator. We dine there around 1 pm but it opens from 5pm to 2 am. Sad. But we we were able to enter there because the comfort room is located there. Yeah. It's no secret anymore if you want to pee. Haha. The place is cool and we took a lot of photos and my gf uploaded it PERFECTLY on ig. We will definitely go back there to try the secret place. 5 stars for this cool restaurant. I love my gf and I wont pick a fight with her anymore because if I ever do it again, I dont know what will happen. 😥
Ordered online, expecting all deliveries would be crap -I set the bar low on this one.
But when my order arrived, it was still hot! The fries and onion rings were still crispy, I also ordered the totchos, chili dog with chili + jalapenos + bacon, and sloppy joe with chili + beef patty + jalapenos + fat salad
All were great, of course it was greasy -but thats what I want.
PS: While typing, the fries and onion rings are still crispy. OMG, also the price is pretty decent for the quality and quantity. Things to improve: please for the love of god add a dessert list.
My friend and I decided to grab dinner and we're craving for burgers so she suggested to go here. It was my first time and I wasn't disappointed, their interior was IG worthy and their food was actually good. We ordered cheeseburger and sloppy joe my friend said that she'll be back again soon for it. Hehe

Visited last September 28. I saw their intruiging sign board pointing down. Went there after visiting a near by building. This place can only accommodate few people.
We had Chili Dog, Sloppy Joe, fries and taters. The chili dog and the sloppy joe tastes good. I really liked their taters. Although it's kinda pricey versus their serving.
Long live bacon! I love the place! There is no drama, only bacon and burgers. Their burgers are alive! That its flavor will last in your taste buds wanting you to go back.
Another thing, who would have thought that the place where you can reflect and think deep can be a burger restaurant?! The place is located in the metro but has a privy environment that comes with BURGERS! I cannot ask for more.🤓
Finally trying Lazy Bastard! So the place is just beside Yamato Bakery and Cafe. From what I remember, a chinese restaurant used to occupy their space.
The place is small with a hip and casual feel. A couple of stools, three small stables with a Long Live Bacon sign on the brick wall. They have a room called alcohol by volume that opens at 5PM. It has a similar vibe with The Curator.
I wanted to try the customized burger I saw from Kirby G's facebook but it's yet to be available to public. San ang hustisya Kirbs?😭
I settled for a cheeseburger worth 220 pesos. It was saltier to Charlie's burger. I blame it on the bacon. Overall the bun and patty are also A-okay. I paired it with a bottle of iced cold cerveza negra to elevate the experience. It's the same satisfaction I get with beer and pizza.

I think it was around 1 am and my parents were craving for burgers. We were on the way to the airport and we had time to spare. My parents decided to try Lazy Bastard. I like the burger. The place is small though. It can only accommodate a handful of people. My parents were really angry when we went out. Hahaha because of there were women and foreign men were going in and out of the bar. They were really disturbed with the scene. Don't go here with your parents. Hahaha.
Finally got a chance to pick up burgers from this place.
Cheeseburger was good. Kinda no frills burger with a superb 100% Chuck Beef Patty.
Sloppy Joe was very Sloppy with tasty ground beef, as I was warned!
Fries were good too
Almost subtle facade, save for the flashing Bacon & Burgers arrow sign. The seating capacity is probably no more than 12 so do visit at less conventional hours.
The menu is rather limited to burgers and hotdogs but they do wash down well with either Calamantea or, as they say, champagne for the masses aka. beer. Note that all their hotdogs are bacon-wrapped. We ordered the Honey Parmesan Dog and were rewarded with a novel, filling, sweet-savory fare with a bold counterpoint provided by arugula. We also availed of the combo upgrade, which adds sides and a drink to your burger or hotdog.
Their onion rings were tastefully done, however, they do not have any mayo or similar dips for it. If you're looking to add a bit of acidity to your deliciously greasy meal, you can only choose from either ketchup or mustard. This was rather disappointing as I, personally, do not quite enjoy onion rings without the appropriate dip.
Will definitely visit again to try the other variations of burgers and hotdogs. They have fried pickles available, by the way.
Good food and good value for money. I opted for an upgrade which offers a choice of sides and drinks. The 1/4 pound burger is packed and filled me up easily. Got the onion rings as a side and Calamantea as a drink. The onion rings were okay - cuts were large but could use a little more flavoring. The Calamantea was the best!
The place is quite tricky to find and the seating capacity is small. Should you ever decide to visit, better do so during weekdays. Ambiance was really nice and I loved the playlist. Hello, indie vibes!
Skip over everything and get the hotdog! Everything is always better with bacon, but wrapping it around a pure-beef hotdog was genius.
The sides weren't doing it for me, but THE HOTDOGS!
Also, this is a dine and dash place due to the small space. Which shouldn't be a problem once you bite into their hotdogs.
If ever you want to get sober after week's worth of stress, drop by this small hole along Jupiter St., and grab a Bacon Cheeseburger and Calamantea. One thing you'll notice, as you grind your the tender, charbroiled ground chuck with bacon and the usual fix-ins on a potato bun, a smile will draw back to your face. Top it of with their handcut potato fries and tots. Makes for a great Friday meal.
Despite its rough exterior, Lazy Bastard serves a pretty mean burger that can satisfy a person's burger cravings. While the burger itself is comparable to that of other burger-specific joints, the sides may seem to be a tad pricier. Personally, I would go for the onion rings over the fries.
The seating area itself is also somewhat rough, with bar stools, low tables, and a "bar" area which is not particularly meant for taller individuals. The food can also take some time depending on how full the place is, so do not come expecting fast food service times. Watch out also during rainy periods as Lazy Bastard is located in a cellar-like entrance which can be difficult to maneuver and inevitably, one will get wet due to the lack of cover.
However, given its fairly good quality of burger, juicy, thick, and filling, I am willing to look past its rough exterior to come again.
A Must try Tater Bombs!!!! Our cheatin place where we can eat a lot of bacon, burger and sausages.. Haven't tried their other products, but for cheeseburger, fries, onions rings and tater bombs, I think that's enough already... Will go back again to this place and will try to go to their hidden bar =)
I love their bacon cheeseburger but the moment I tried their chili dog, there was no going back. It's THE BEST. I don't have a single photo of it because 1. It's not photogenic and 2. I finish it before I can take a picture but trust me, it's good. Ultimate comfort food!! 😋
I must say my friend and I deserved that reward from three productive meetings, and we grabbed a good bite in this prominent burger joint along Jupiter street. I tried ordering their famous bacon cheeseburger with additional fries and the calamansi iced tea. I was satisfied with this meal, and I would consider this late night grub joint after a night of drinks. The space may be small so I might be full one some nights and space could be scarce. Although it's worth the visit for their burgers.
We went here for a quick dinner. We ordered their bacon cheeseburger and chicago dog, and both were yummy and filling. Their main area's not that spacious but they have nice interiors. They have a "hidden" bar next to the main area, and we'd love to go back and try it there.
First time to try Lazy Bastard. We tried 3 of their flavored hotdogs, kimchi dog, avocadog and honey parmesan. I loved kimchi dog! It's a bit spicy for those with low tolerance. I started to feel the kick half way but despite of that, I could not stop eating! Avocadog has neutral taste. The avocado balances the salt of the bacon. As for honey parmesan, there's distinction of sweetness and saltiness. It's also worth trying.

Romeo and Juliet. Jack and Rose. Cersei and Jamie (?). Kanye and Kanye. Sorry, I meant, Kanye and Kim. And then there's Richie and Rina.. err.. Richie and Bacon. . For the past few weeks, I've been getting tagged on Instagram and Facebook with a picture of a neon light in a restaurant that proudly sports my lifelong motto.. "Long Live Bacon". Everyone that tagged me was very adamant that I had to try the restaurant in which that light calls home, Lazy Bastard.
I love everything bacon so this place is heaven! 🐷 If you're craving for greasy comfort food after a tiring day at the office or after a night out, this place is for you! The place is just small though, but plus points for the affordable menu. ❤
for the love of bacon! everyday is a cheat day! lazy bastard puts bacon on everything and i would say that i fell in love at first taste with their calamantea!
Their burger and hotdog are great. I can say that their beef patty's quality is superb. Those big onion rings are perfect for sides. Good place to go after an exhausting day.
This is our second attempt to eat at Lazy Bastard. We were not lucky the first time since they are having a problem in their kitchen that time. But we nailed it this time. The place has a few tables and chairs only, a small place but cozy one. We were immediately greeted and I like it that we were not asked for our orders immediately since we need time to go through their menu.
We ordered for their bacon cheeseburger, fries, and tater bombs. They are to die for! The burger has a super yummy pattie and super crispy bacon. Fries is just fries but i love it still. Tater bombs is a must try! We want to go back for more.
Their set up is more of a self service type. You will pay for your order first, and they will call you once your order is ready. Supplies like water, mayonnaise, fork, knife is in the side and you can get them when needed. And you can throw your trash in the bin once you're done eating.
Will definitely come back or will try theor 2nd branch in UP town center.
I know parking is difficult in the area, but we always get lucky! I'm not a fan of burgers and sausages but this is an exemption. What's more interesting is the first door to your right when you enter. I won't say whats behind that door, but it has a secret password before you can get in...
The place will definitely do your Instagram a favor. Their food is pretty sinful but trust me, you won't regret it. If you want to pig out, this is the place! Havent been tried and tested, but I think this is good drunk food
i love burgers and this is one of my favorites!! their burgers are really tasty and juicy!! fries are also really good!! i always try to eat here whenever i am in the area.
the only downside is parking... so hard to look for one esp during the day... night is better since you can park along Jupiter already...
Burger is juicy. Fries is good. Basically everything's good naman. Kaya lang the location is kinda hard to find. Pero overall, the experience was worth the drive.

Lazy Bastard is a perfect place to be on a holiday. Humongous American Burger meals with a few beers after. One of my favorite hangouts whenever in Makati!
The name is an interesting choice as well and it's a good conversation starter.

Here at Lazy Bastard, you'll get a taste of everything sinful. Sinfully yummy - at that. They serve burgers, hotdogs, and everything bacon. The place is small tho, with only 3 tables. But I heard they do deliveries! It's interesting that you can modify your orders here especially for burgers. You can add everything you want!
Feeling hungry at midnight we decided to come here. Surprisingly parking spaces are available as I was told it is quite difficult to get one at that hour on a Friday night. Ordered cheeseburger, chili dog and onions ring. I suggest skipping the onion rings. I didn't like the batter of the coating. It feels very oily but it is good after a rough night of drinking. The chili in the chili dog lacks the 'oomp' taste of chilis. It was a little bland tbh. The sausage used was delicious though. As for the cheeseburger.. Well you can't go wrong with cheeseburger. Overall, I should come back here again and try their other offerings.
Here's one good find around Jupiter!
I ate with my partner here at 2PM, with their burger and hotdog oozing with cheese and other delicious ingredients that made our picks super good!
I made mention of the time since they have this room that they open at 5pm.
Will visit again to see what lies at the back of the door.
Near MRT Buendia station you will find this hidden gem along side of Jupiter Street , a cozy place to eat with the right amount of good music.
I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and a side dish of french fries and onion rings, I also tried the avocado hotdog it was good but the bacon cheeseburger was amazingly awesome. I dont put any sauce on the burger to check the quality of the patty and I swear it was tender and juicy with a kick of smoky flavor.
It was a really good experience specially im glad we met the owner and his very accommodating, he even introduce us his bar and i fell inlove and im planning to go back and get some iced cold beer or mojito.
It was difficult to find honestly and there were barely any parking spaces. Good thing I only had to wait about 10 mins though because if I waited longer, I don't think I'd choose to dine there anymore.
So I thank all the parking gods for giving me space because my best friend and I came at a "quiet" time for the restaurant. There was no one around! I made my own breakfast sandwich--made with french toast buns, hash brown, toasted sunny side up and bacon! GREASY and good! The best friend wanted to try the bacon bombs because the name was cute (LOL) and whewwww I'm glad we did! They're bacon wrapped tater tots. Yuuumz.
If you plan on eating here, I suggest you don't go in a big group cos they have about 3 tables and a counter only. Super limited diners at the same time.
I'm a big fan of burgers, which means i have a preference. I love juicy, grilled burgers. I really hate over cooked meat. Lazy Bastard's burger was cooked perfectly. I can't stop raving about it. And it's very filling at an affordable price. There are 3 tables inside, plus one long table. Their Calamantea goes well with their burgers. Looking forward to eating here again if I'm feeling a bit sinful.
Despite its abhorrent name.. well, the Lazy Bastard delivers! Filling burgers paired with sides and best washed down with their own version of the Calamantea! :)
The space is small and a little bit underground but is easy to find because of their catchy flashing sign of "burgers and bacon". Who wouldn't notice? :) They're situated at the back of Yamato Cafe in Jupiter St., Makati.
We had bacon cheeseburger, chilidog, calamantea and onion rings and tater tots for the sides. I must say that I did enjoy our meal. Not only the preparation of the order was fast but the meals are worth their price. The bacon cheeseburger is meaty and tasty, patty is peppery and juicy. Chilidog doesn't really have that wow factor, just average but is generous with the chili con carne.
As for the sides, the onion rings are huge and crunchy just the way we like it. The tater tots is okay.
Overall, Lazy Bastard will definitely be on my list of the best burgers in the metro. Service is also good. I also like how the customers are expected to clean after themselves, which was unexpected and fun with their 'magic trashbin'.
Also, you may not want to go there during peak hours because the seats are limited at around 15-20.

Lazy Bastard is a burger joint along Jupiter Street (near Bel-Air Village), a laid-back community in Makati. The menu is simple: burgers, fries, rings, and shakes, served in a surf shack dining room.
Instead of topping the burger with a couple strips of bacon, they boil pounds of bacon in water, then fry it on the grill under an iron weight. This may sound like a strange method, but it creates a crispy, super-flavorfulbacon patty that has the consistency of a hash brown. Aside from sheer volume, the patty also delivers bacon in every bite thanks to their weaving technique.
Depending on your state of mind, the ooey-gooey goodness that is a signature Lazy Bastard's burger can be a blessing or a curse. Because they're so juicy you barely have to chew, I was faced with a conundrum: wolf it down as quickly as possible before the bun gets soggy, or risk having the burger fall apart and make an even bigger mess. Wanting to keep my napkin use under three, I opted to mow down, which made me equally ashamed of how fast I ate, but also totally satisfied.
Simply put, LB's Bacon Cheeseburger is one of the best I've ever tasted. From a size, flavor, and value perspective, it can't be beat. Add an order of fries (or onion rings) to the mix and you'll be wondering if that chorus of singing angels is your imagination or really happening.
The place is easy to recognize because of their big sign Bacon & Burgers this way.
The place is quite small, with 3 tables inside and 1 long table on the left side, but I honestly like the place. It's quiet despite you're in the busy city of Makati.
Their location will make you forget how traffic outside.
So we ordered their sloppy joe, fries, and their honey parmesan dog.Our order was served after 15 minutes.
The sloppy joe tasted good, a different kind of burger since it was served with ground beef. For me, it's like chili con carne on a burger bun!
The Honey parmesan dog is something I won't forget. I love the taste of the hotdog wrap in a bacon and dip in honey.A perfect combination of sweet and salty!
The fries is okay, nothing special with the taste.
The price is quite expensive but I will still suggest this place, it's worth the try!
PS: Ask the cashier that you need a comfort room so that you'll have a sneak peek of ABV. hahaha. A very cool place.
Perfect chill out place most especially when your tired for the day. Staff was very friendly, place is cozy, food was very yummy. I recommend to hangout here after a hard day's work!
One of the best-tasting burgers I have ever eaten! Juicy patty with fresh lettuce, tomato and onion and gooey melted cheese! I always get this with a side of their big and crispy onion rings.
Update: new menu! Tried their Fried Chicken Sandwich. Loved that they use the same bread as the burgers. The chicken fillet is juicy. Pickles not too tangy, so it's good. I like the burgers more, though. This is a good alternative if you don't want to eat burgers.
Located on Jupiter Street, this local establishment offers a better-than-good selection of craft beers and cocktails as well as some great eats! Lazy Bastard is a spot that you can stop on in for a nice dinner, at a nice table, then if you're feeling stupendous, walk up to the bar and greet your fellow man.
I am going to just cut to the chase, the Bacon Cheeseburger was excellent, cooked right how I asked, and had a very nice presentation. There is nothing negative I can say about this tasty gourmet burger. The onion rings were incredible, they were light and puffy beer battered rings, and they were not the grease bomb you get at other places. The beer was cold and crispy.
Vibe is really laid back with professionals, hipsters, and millennials enjoying food and drinks. On other notes, the service is always friendly and timely, the food came out on time, and the bathrooms were clean (big plus). I would definitely come back to try the other items on the menu, along with the beers on tap.
This small place hiding in one of Jupiter Street's basement is a lovely find. I did not find their classic bacon cheeseburger exceptional but i fell in love with their HONEY PARMESAN HOTDOG. I always come back for these babies and grab the combo so I can enjoy their tater tots plus drink. Long live bacon!

This was our last stop for our foodtrip in Makati and we've been wanting to visit since last year and at last the wait is over. The place is pretty small but the interior is very pretty especially their famous signage "long love bacon". Prices are good not that expensive. Food is great! We ordered their chili and original Hotdog and Tater bombs (fries that is covered with bacon). The crew are very accommodating and nice.
VeryGood. Had their make your bfast sandwhich and find it very good. The meat taste really good with bacon and egg but the bread wasnt toasted.

A somewhat hidden burger joint in the heart of Makati, this place is best for those who appreciate no-brainer but spot on burgers!
I tried their Classic Chicken Sandwich while my boyfriend, as expected, had their BCB - then professed that he has found his favorite burger of all time. Since we chose to upgrade to combo meals we also got a taste of their fries, onion rings and CalamanTea which was their house blended iced tea.
Everything was freshly made, so expect to spend some time waiting. Remember, great things come to those who wait. Trust us, this one's worth the few minutes that you can spend appreciating the place's brick wall. Needless to say, we had a blast!
In the end, the star of the night? Them friggin' Tater Bombs!!! If it were up to me, you can forget everything EXCEPT these delectable and perfectly fried potatoes that are wrapped in crispy bacon.
PS: the trip to this joint gave us one of the coolest surprises. As to why, I shall not share in this post. I'm simply hoping you'll get to experience it yourself. ;p
Reviewing my second time here and I remember thinking my first experience was just okay... Probably because I couldn't sit down beside my friends, didn't know what to order, overwhelmed by the crowd and had a difficult & awkward time eating the juicy burger!😅 but I finally got the allure the second time around...
This time, I customized the Bacon cheeseburger adding jalapeno and more cheese... I got the tater tots instead of the string fries... And I got to use a fork, a knife and a plate while eating at our very own table!🙌 yey!!!😃 Since it was an off-peak time, there were less patrons around... The casheir was relaxed and nice this time (versus really stressed with the malfunctioning machine and growing number of waiting peeps)... And the food was served all at once and promptly to boot! I must say that I appreciated the food in general MUCH MORE as it was a more relaxed visit... Service and overall vibe of the place really does count when it comes to customer satisfaction!👍
The Bacon Cheeseburger with extra cheese and jalapeno was DELICIOUS!!! The yummy peppery beef patty was just as juicy as I remembered!😄 The tater tots were likewise great and the perfect complement! bf tried the classic dog, which is a hotdog wrapped in bacon with classic hotdog toppings... Unadulterated goodness!☺️ He also enjoyed his side order of onion rings....
Saw the owner ( I assume) dressed like a modern yet 1920s gentleman and I appreciated the concept of AbV in an instant... Dapper indeed!
I enjoyed round two with their burgers!💜 Let's see if we can go three rounds!👍
If you love bacon, then this is the place for you. They serve bacon-wrapped hotdog sandwiches interpreted creatively. Their bestseller is the honey parmesan hotdog, but we were only able to try the kimchi dog and the breakfast dog. I liked the latter more. We also got the tater bombs, which are bacon-wrapped tater tots. It's small, underground resto that has a connecting speakeasy bar. Awesome vibes. Long live bacon!
Good olé fashion greasy burgers, dogs and fries. Delicious, cheap and lots to go around!
I went for the all time favorite of chili dog and cheeseburger... I inhaled it.
Giving these guys 4 stars, they give u exactly what they're promoting, and they love what they do. They really do, they seem to run events around their menu and have a nice social media presence.
Lazy bastard if you're looking for ole fashion awesome dogs and burgers.
I couldn't believe at first that this gem is just right behind our office.
I swear that if I'm not really concerned with my health, I'll be a lazy bastard dining at Lazy Bastard every day.
We ordered Honey Parmesan dog, Breakfast dog (whatever is the exact name), and their classic Cheeseburger. We made two of them a meal (with drinks and sides).
Sadly tater tots were not available back then so I had to settle with their fries which were shoe string, very thin, a bit greasy but good with the taste buds. And that's what matters. Same comment on their onion rings.
Honey Parmesan dog was soooooo good. The honey dipped hotdog, the bacon wrapped around it and the parmesan cheese which looks quite misplaced made a perfect combination. It was lovefest between hotdog and bacon. I don't really wanna salivate as I write this.
The cheeseburger was earning so much praise from my friend so I can highly recommend that one too.
The breakfast dog was a bit messy to eat since it's topped with a sunny-side up egg. I think it was okay, nothing special especially when I compare it to my order. My boyfriend liked it though.
The only reason I gave it a 4.5 is their lack of drink selection. I am not a soda person. I only usually drink two sips and that's it. Maybe lemonade or iced tea will go great with their food selection.
To all lazy bastards out there, c'mon try this place.

The best thing about this burger joint is that you actually taste the smoke in it's patty. We dont have those kind of burgers anymore. Almost all sandwiches are forced to have bacon on it. I'm not complaining.

Though the place might be hidden from view but finding it won't require much effort. Thanks to the large bright signage outside saying "Bacons & Burgers this way" with an arrow pointing directly to its entrance. Unlike most restaurants, the inside is not visible from the outside which makes it kinda mysterious. Upon entering, I was surprised to see its unique interior. Perfectly illuminated. Just wanna mention the cool brick wall with the pink neon light saying "Long live bacon" which I believe is their mantra. The place is just small which makes it somewhat exclusive. There were three of us but only two seats were available. Good thing that there was a group who are already done with their food who politely gave us their seats. People here know when not to make 'tambay.' The menu includes four kinds of burgers, eight kinds of hotdogs a Create-Your-Own Breakfast Sandwich. Price range are from ₱170 - ₱250. Sides are also available. Beverages are soft drinks, beers and iced tea. We had a Hamburger, a Cheeseburger and a Kimchidog. Also a bottle of Cerveza Negra for me. I was suppose to order an Avocadog but apparently it wasn't available. Waiting for our order didn't take long, it only took us a couple of selfies. The food didn't disappoint us. They're just in the right size and tastes really good especially the Kimchidog. I can feel the crispness of the hotdog in every bite. I wonder how the Avocadog taste like. I really need to come back!
Near the entrance door is a wooden door which leads to a speakeasy-themed bar called ABV or Alcohol By Volume. But before you can enter, the maître d' will first ask you the password. Don't tell anyone but it's "A glass of giggle water, please!" ;)

We went to this place around 1pm so the left side of the restaurant was the only place so open so we had to squish in the place. But the food is so HEAVENLY. You should try their sweet parmesan hotdog which was really pure orgasm in your mouth and you can add 90 pesos for a drink and one side. Also, their onion rings was really large and delicious. Too bud they didn't have sour cream/mayo to complement it with.
We heard so many good reviews about Lazy Bastard so we tried it on a Friday night. Although we waited for about an hour for them to open, (it's 5:00pm and they're having a meeting) the wait is so worth it! We ordered their bacon cheeseburger and classicdog with a side of onion rings. Their hotdog is my fave! I like it better than their burgers. The hotdog is wrapped with bacon (Of couse, long live bacon). Very tasty and delicious, every bite is mouth watering. The burger is okay too, the bacon is crispy and the cheese sauce is so good. Lazy Bastard is a must-try in Jupiter, I swear. Though their restaurant is quite small, it may just fit 15-20 costumers only so I suggest you come earlier, before dinner or lunch.
Upon seeing the menu, i was drawn to try their burgers but then a friend said that their hotdogs were better. The hotdogs, i did try and was satisfied. Their toppings might look overloaded but it didn't overpower the taste of the hotdog. The hotdog was also good, juicy and tasty. Place might be small but just because it's only a part of a bigger 'hidden' bar where they serve the same food.
After reading stuff on Zomato about Lazy Bastard, I already braced myself for a resto with very small space. But still, I was shocked upon entering. It's so small, the whole restaurant can hear your conversation.
I got the Sauerkraut Dog, bacon-wrapped beef hotdog with sauerkraut on top. The hotdog and the bun were delicious. The sauerkraut gave a good twist to my dish but next time I'll just go for the classic. I also got tater tots as my side dish, which was yummy and good for sharing. I shared mine with my friends because it was a bit oily.
Long Live Bacon is their Mantra. They put bacon on everything. Sinful, deadly and worth every calorie. Boyfriend had a bacon cheeseburger and I got an avocadog. The burger was delicious. The avocadog was also good but I wanted more avocado. The dog is bacon wrapped also (no surprise). We loved their onion rings! The batter is perfection! Their fries are a good alternative. Next time I come I will try their tater tots wrapped in bacon. I can't wait to see what they will baconify next.

Our team was in between meetings and this was one of those still open, hence we tried it. We ordered our food to go, which meant we only had a few minutes to hang around this contrast of a joint; very sparsely decorated save for the screaming neon light that everyone just loves taking a photo of. Lazy Bastard offers decent food in an unpretentious setting. The place offers many things that others seem to neglect. One of these is the Sloppy Joe, one of my favorite messy eats, which I ordered and enjoyed. My boss and teammates ordered burgers of different variations, of which I know not the verdict. Will probably come back again as I'm really intrigued by the 'kraut dog and their nice looking toasts.
Up: simple spot; interesting food
Down: only seats a few
Hipsters would love it. I like the feel of the place, but very small, fits about 2 small tables for 3 and a counter for 7-8. They serve mainly burgers, hotdogs, and the BYO Breakfast sandwich (which was what really brought me to the place). Love the tater tots made from real potatoes and not the freeze and fry kind. Breakfast sandwich takes the cake (since bread selection consists of pancakes, french toast or... You get the picture). Needs pancake syrup though, like the McGriddle. Will try the Bacon Cheeseburger next time since they say it's the house special. #QueenMuncherPH
