The Wild Juan.. kilometer 68, Tagatay nasugbu highway, Brgy Niyugan. Laurel, Batangas.
head Chef Thomas Murillo has set out to do exactly that, combined with a western bent.
It's hard to write because my taste buds still going Kapow! after Chef and restaurants signature dish.. Gumbo + Bulalo = a chunky beef shank stew, with bone marrow in spicy gumbo sauce.. ( SSSH, the garlic rice was so light and fluffy, and flavourful, I almost didn't want to put the amazing gumbo sauce on it!!).
Awesome views over the volcano valley, plus great "beer bar", really clean CRs and restaurant, supported by very friendly and professional service from Captain Royette Bautista.. Great sound system to top it all off.
