I get so kilig everytime I am invited to try restaurants offering unlimited choices. It gives me this opportunity to test out my list of do's and don'ts when eating out at these types of restaurants.
Sigsaga Buffet is not entirely a new restaurant but rather, it has been on my South foodie radar for quite some time now. It offers a mix of Korean-Japanese cuisine, served buffet style for its guests, with an option of grilling meats at your own table.
Allow me to share some tips on how to effectively maximize your time, effort and budget here at the unlimited Sigsaga Buffet:
1. Choose from their Unlimited sets/options.
Basic unlimited buffet is priced at P299 per head. You get pork + beef + chicken bbq grill +12 buffet dishes + dessert + bottomless drinks.
If you want to add unlimited tempura to the mix, get the P424/head option.
You can also have unlimited seafood (shrimp, salmon, squid), just choose the P474/head set.
Make sure everyone on your table chooses the same set. This makes it easier for the staff to track which extra dishes to serve the whole table too.
2. Assign a cook. Better to have everyone take turns at cooking, for full enjoyment of the grilling experience. What's great with Sigsaga is that their meats are sliced just right so no need for that extra step of cutting them. Have someone be in charge of the exhaust nozzle too so no one gets red smoky eyes. Hehehe
3. Don't forget their unlimited drinks and buffet! Sigsaga offers value for your money with several buffet dishes set up aside from their meat station. They vary the dishes from time to time but you basically get Korean and Japanese classics like Japchae, Spicy Beef and Pork viands, some sushi rolls, maki, Pajeon and the like. My favorite was the Korean Beef Stew.
These buffet dishes are meant to cut down on umay. But don't gorge too much on the cooked entrees so you can indulge more on the grilled meats.
4. Dress comfortably and keep your chill on. Wear light-colored clothes. The place has ample space, they even have a mezzanine for bigger groups. Lots of electric fans too but it still does tend to heat up a bit when they are packed with customers. Best to visit them on a weekday, since they get a lot of local guests on weekends. Besides, you'll want to indulge and maximize the 2 hours they give you for the buffet, right?
5. Enjoy cooking with your friends and family.
They encourage coming in groups too because they have the 5+1 promo everyday. Just pay for 5 persons and the 6th person gets to eat free. Great deal, right?! They do accept walk-ins but better safe than sorry so call them ahead for reservations, specially for bigger batches.
Nothing beats lunch or dinner with big groups and Sigsaga made sure that the dining experience they provide is definitely unforgettable.

A wide selection of meat for grilling and another 12 buffet dishes for only Php299/pax. For me it’s definitely a steal! And oh, if you’re a group of 6 you can avail the 5+1 promo.
The interior was not that nice, but it’s not bad either. The staffs were very polite and accommodating. I might recommend this to my friends special if their on a tight budget.
