Hands down, the BEST carrot cake I’ve had. Try their very moist red velvet too as it has a generous heaping of cream cheese. It’s a quaint place with a relaxing vibe to match. Delicious cakes that are a bang for the buck! �

We came in and started with dessert. The shelves laden with cakes and brownies the size of bricks will have you salivating as soon as you enter the room. Place is cozy, IG-worthy and can seat twenty total, more or less.
Hokkaido cake – creamy, soft, melt-in-your mouth, milky chiffon teases your tongue and then -bam!- the light cheesecake hits your palate for a subtle but flavorful finish. A must-try.
Naughty Elvis – this sandwich looked so pretty on the plate, it seemed almost a crime to eat it. Then you take a bite and thank the heavens for all the flavors and textures dancing on your tongue – the crunchy toast and crispy, savory bacon with the sweet, nutty peanut butter and egg over easy. Whew!
Bomba Nachos – appropriately named, for the explosion of flavors it offers – sour cream chunks, roast chicken (tasty, almost like Carne Asado), fresh salsa over heaps of nacho chips. Can easily serve four.
Pasta – the Calamansi and Basil and triple cheese pasta come highly recommended.
Gwapa Salad – another huge plate perfect to share. Dried cranberries, granola, feta mixing in with the lettuce, and sweet-tangy dressing served on the side.
Warning: Serving sizes are huge, from appetizers, entrees and even desserts.
The only thing I wish was better was the Vietnamese coffee. It was too milky and watery, lacking the strength of the real stuff you can get anywhere in Vietnam.
The best thing in Flour Jar? The service. They have some of the kindest, friendliest and most service-oriented staff I’ve encountered. Truly a delightful experience.
Just tried the cookies for take out, both flavours available were good! Just the right amount of sweetness.
Everything was really good do recommend getting the smoothie bowls and the donuts just really advice against getting the pink latte.
This is the first time I'll be writing a review of their cafe after numerous tries and I could say that the food here is great! From the cakes to the beverages and meals, the food gave off such a home-y feel without sacrificing the great flavor. The place was worth for the gram, too! Princing was pretty standard, food lives up to it's price.
Great food and great service! The place will give off a bit of a Bali vibe which is refreshing to see in that neighborhood. We ordered their garlic chicken sandwich black coral smoothie bowl and sundried tomato pesto, decent serving amount and good flavors! My only comment is I hope they make their smoothie bowls easier to eat, the skin of the mango is still there and the dried citrus is inedible, great look but it was a bit of a challenge to eat. Other than that, I really love this place and I will definitely come back! 😀
Flour Jar is an insta-worthy spot in Pilar Village. I usually go here for solo brunch or dinner. The cafe menu does not disappoint. Their cakes are also good, though I don't agree that their carrot cake is the best (my mom's is still better hahaha).
Tried their charcoal calamansi just for the heck of it (and it was the only thing I'm allowed to drink at the time). Not sure if ingesting charcoal has health benefits, or if it is safe in the first place LOL, but I downed the entire glass anyway and it was refreshing after a commute on a warm day.
As a fan of Toby's desserts, it came to my attention finding out that this café is the distributor of the Bogtrotter cake! As a chocolate-lover, I did not hesitate to purchase the whole stuff for our baby's month celebration despite the shop was too far! Luckily, Lalamove was an option!
I am also happy with their customer service as they are just one IG message away, plus, they are very much accommodating.
Will have another purchase this month, this time, a personalized one!

I've been craving for a good chocolate chip cookie for a while now and Flour Jar posting at their Instagram about how chewy and chocolatey their chocolate chip cookies didn't help at all.
The available entrees were mostly limited to pastas so we were able to order 4/6 of their pastas - Brown Butter Carbonara, Roasted Tomato, Truffle Cheese, and Sundried Tomato Pesto. Of the 4, I liked the acidity and sourness of the homemade tomato sauce of their Roasted Tomato and the chorizo sausage of the Sundried Tomato Pesto. If only there was a cross-over of the 2 pastas... I didn't bother trying the Truffle Cheese because you know, cheese.
For a change, I ordered their Grilled Honey Bacon which had thick slabs of bacon and a generous glaze of honey. It was reminiscent of a croque madame, another dish I've been craving for.
For their dessert, we had milkshakes and cakes! The best and most thickkk was their Salted Caramel. The Tres Leches, which was my order, unfortunately, was just sweet didn't really taste like anything. For their cakes, we had their Ube and Twix which were both good, too.
Of course, we couldn't leave without having what brought us here in the first place: their 1/2 Baked Cookies! We were full at the time so I just had it for take out. I didn't have an oven or even microwave to heat it the time I ate it but it was still so good!!! Best chocolate chip cookie I've ever had, hands down!
Their food and cakes are amazing! They have a wide variety of desserts and food! Serving size and food quality is really worth the price! It is not too pricey! I just recommend that they expand their store since it is too small for their (many) customers! Their store is a really cool place to chill and hangout with friends! (We also noticed that during weekends, HINDI SILA NAWALAN NG CUSTOMER AT ALL! If there were no seats available, they will just take out their orders!) I really loved their food and i’m excited to go back to their store to try out their other food!

My favorite, Bali-themed cafe! Been here twice to taste some of their cakes, brownies, and recently, tried their donuts and fruit bowl. I love the taste of their donuts, they offer really interesting flavors, and it varies every month. We got pistachio and Davao chocolate flavors, and they were so good.
Also, we got one of their fruit bowls, and they were really tasty, you won’t even notice that it’s healthy breakfast alternative. The ambiance is really relaxing, and instagrammable as well!
