The place has a nice and welcoming atmosphere, with friendly staff and managers. The food taste great too and there is value for money.
Our reservation was ready at 7:30 pm. Got our orders on time. The food was great. Beautiful ambiance. Nice and friendly service crew. Everything's clean. Very accessible location. Had an awesome time with my family. Thanks Chikaan! We'll definitely come back!
Crispy pata is succulent and tender. It has the right crisp! I love its pansit guisado! Baked scallop is overcome with cheese that its meat is no longer emphasized.
I love their pork sisig, plus they offer unlimited rice, which is a plus. However when my family dined in this place, the waitress serving wasn't really attentive. I asked for an order and it took me three times to repeat what it was. Basically, their service does not do well - definitely must improve next time.
Mixed rating for Chikaan Sa in Mactan. The place was pumping when we arrived for lunch today (always a good sign), but the lady who serviced us was distracted and a bit rude. Then when ordering many of the items on the menu were not available and even after asking waitress to tell us what was not available, she came back after we ordered to tell us some of the items we had ordered were also not available. The food when it arrived however, was delicious and if I was rating just the food I would say 5! The Baka Kaldereta was my favourite, closely followed by the pork adobo. Meal sizes were very good and we needed to take home left overs. .The restaurant itself was very clean and the air conditioning was comfortable. I would have rated higher if the service was better and more menu items were available.
