If you’re looking for a place to splurge your money on food, this is it. Their dishes are pricey but reasonable since Azure is in a 5-star resort, and it is super worth it because the serving size is big. Their service is great too, so accommodating and welcoming. I love the ambiance because it is by the sea, sad thing is that when we had supper there, there was no view anymore because it is dark. I haven’t captured every dish we had but it was a 3 course meal and I was already getting full after the appetisers, again the servings were BIG and we are 5 in the family. Super worth it.
Spent my birthday here at Azure Beach Club. Food was pricey but great. They also have a bar by the sea, super cool! Each course ranges from PHP900 to PHP3,000.
Excellent! This one is for special occasions... I can't be back as often as I want to be but for the several visits over the months, the quality has not degraded and the place still offers excellent dining experience. Food+ambience+service are topnotch and I'm hard-pressed to find a place that offers better. It can be a bit pricey here but you get what you pay for.
Tip: get the spare ribs and pair it with the tandoori but seriously it's difficult to go wrong
I have stayed in Crimson for three times already and my boyfriend and I would always choose to have our dinner at Azure because aside from the delicious foods, the view and the ambiance of the place is really great. Personally, I love their grilled chicken salad the most 💖💖💖 I will never get tired of their foods and their heartfelt services. I definitely would go back with my boyfriend any time soon 💖😊😍
Been here for holiday.. because we staying in crimson resort, we decided to dinner at this resto which is in front of the pool & beach of the resort..
The location actually great.. it's facing the beach..
But, i think at night it's too crowded.. not easy to get the empty table with best spot..
I feel like, we've been fooled by the waiter.. she told us that the portion is small and we can't shared.. it make us order a lot of foods and we can't even finish it.. too muchh.. omg, i cant believe we spent more than 5000 peso for the food that we wasted..
I give the good rate only because the food is delicious.. not the service..
Shrimp tempura with cereal
This is our appetizer.. deep fried tempura with cornflakes, and sweet mayo and almond..
The mayo is so fragrant.. tempura is crunchy.. perfect combination with the mayo and corn flakes.. its one of my fave..
Chicken tandori with naan bread
Riasted chicken with naan bread (similar with prata)
The also give us the green curry
And the portiin is so big.. you can share with 2/3 people in my opinion..
Pork jowl
This roasted pork is juicy and crispy outside..
Surprisingly, the give us 3 kind of sauce, which is so familiar for us in indonesia..
Its sambal matah (i believe it's known from bali, indonesia), sambal kecap (soy sauce), and sambel ijo (green chili sauce that I believe fron indonesia also)
The sambel matah surprisingly so good.. it's same as / even better than indonesian sambal matah
As always, the portion is good to share..
I cant believe we also got free white rice in the big bowl to share.. 😓😓😓
Overall, foods was good.. nothing to complain
But as i mention earlier, i feel unhappy because waiter told us the portion is small.. causing us wasting our foods
Great Food and great ambiance. had dinner here with some friend and the food was excellent. I order the chicken tandoori and yellow fine tuna jaw with ponzu sauce, both dishes were excellent in flavour and presentation
Definitely a place to relax and unwind while taking in magnificent views of the sea and sky. Was able to sample the Purple Rain cocktail - a whimsical concoction of vodka, chai, and blue curacao that starts off a deep royal blue, but goes imperial purple when a splash of fresh calamansi juice is added. Anything off the grill is nice, but the savoury flatbreads are great and the spicy veg tempura excellent.
Since it’s Friday, time for a flashback post! Okay, I just missed out on this entry which truly deserves to be posted.
Hello, Crimson Resort and Spa Mactan! (Whew, that’s a mouthful!)
It was quite a trip from Bantayan Island to Crimson, Mactan. It took us roughly 4 hours just to go back to Cebu City and another 40 minutes or so to Mactan. We were weary from the hot ferry ride and crowded bus trip. And we were famished too since we skipped lunch. But this made us look forward to our stay. True enough, we were so delighted to see our room and the spacious bathroom (which was 6 times bigger than the bathroom in Kota Beach, Bantayan Island).
After freshening up a bit, we decided to head down to the beach area but sadly, it was already closed. So we just took a quick dip in the crowded pool (there was a Korean-Chinese event during our stay and the resort was PACKED).
While lounging, our tummies reminded us that we haven’t had a meal since 10am. And since it was happy hour, R and I ordered Mango Shake (I recall it was around PHP150 per glass) and a plate of Tuna Tataki (PHP220).
Modern Asian cuisine at its finest. Don't confuse it with fusion. The overall ambience and mood ties in nicely with the food and beverage offerings.
I'm not really a fan of fusion cuisine but thr ambiance at Azure made up for what I think is not so fantastic food. Most of all the saving grace was our server for the day, Ms. Joy. She was really so pleasant and made the lunch experience worthwhile. I liked the Beef Catpet and the Garlic Pasta with Rock Scallops.
