Will always and forever love Harbour! Their Quail Egg siomai is the best! Pair it up with some Steamed Rice, and it's the perfect meal! Although, some people haven't tried the Fried Wanton and it gets me wondering why they've been missing out so much. It takes less than 15 minutes wait but I tell you, it's worth it. It's amazing. I'd highly recommend Fried Wanton and for people who haven't tried it, when they tell you 15 minutes wait time, don't worry, it's gonna be worth the wait.

Their staff are very polite and friendly. We were new to the place and they gladly recommended their bestsellers on which on our part was great. The service was fast. I love the ambience, service and the food.
growing up in cebu in the 70s, this has been our family's favorite dimsum restaurant. i never miss a chance to dine here everytime naa ko sa sugbo.
I came here with my former workmate. We both enjoyed the food in here kasi it’s cheap and yummy. The place is conducive for chika chika and the dim lights are also cool. I like the customes of the staff there, they look like chinese people. If you’re on a tight budget, then this place is somethng that i’d highly recommend
Their Dimsum experience is the best! And whenever I am in this restaurant, I always ask for their Hot Tea. Though their place in Ayala is not spacious but that's fine, as long as their crew is polite and efficient.

It was in this precise moment that the chorus of Chris Daughtry's song "Home" blared in air, as tears welled up in the eyes of my wind blown face. My first "out of town" post!! Of course it had to fittingly be, perhaps one of my all time favorite restaurants, Habor City in the beautiful island of Cebu! Backing up a bit, Cebu is the city where i grew up.. or as I like to say, "Didn't" grow up. I lived there for almost ten years, and I have a lot of great memories there with some pretty amazing people. The funny thing is, whenever I go back, i forget to contact my friends, but I never fail to make a trip to Harbor City.
We went there on a weekday lunch time, the place was full but it didn't take long before we were seated. We cramped ourselves into one circular table to enjoy the food better :)
The fried rice was good, especially the spicy one. The chicken feet was so-so, the hakaw and noodle soup was ok, we loved the sweet&sour fish.
Servers are attentive but they're super busy :) but glad our requests were met.
Utensils are available, price is very very affordable. Would love to come back.
It took a while for our bill to come so I just went to the cash register area to wait for my bill and card to be processed. Cash and creditcards accepted.
All time favorite! 😍
I've been in this restaurant for countless times and i'll never get tired of the traditional Chinese cooking. I'm an avid fan of Chinese cuisines ever since I was a child and Harbour City has been a part of my childhood. Kudos!
I am always a fan of dimsum and harbour city never disappoints! So so or murag pareha ra sa taste sa dimsum break sorry i can never tell the difference just pm me if naa, pero magdaog gyud sha sa lugar sa ambiance. Ang dimsum break man gud too fast food-ish ang style but harbour is classy and not dali dali nga style which i like pretty much because you have to savor every moment when eating steamed rice haha for me ha! And yes lami pud ila siomai. Authentic chinese gyud sha so super busog ang kinalabasan. Salamat!
This restaurant was beautiful, because it was well known all the pinoy in here. The food in here was delicious because of chinese menu food. I've been here many times and also my family, that's why I totally known their product much.
What I like about HC is that they accommodate their customers so well, their staff are courteous, and they manage to keep the place clean despite of the surge of customers going in and out. This is the best HC so far, could have been 5 stars but like any other branch, their servings are still small (esp the beef steak rice) I had to order another bowl of plain rice. The shaomai was not served hot too. But overall I had a good experience and would consider coming back.

I am currently on a work trip in Cebu and I was looking for good places to eat in. I found this restaurant with good reviews so I decided to check it out.
Ordered a lot which included yang chow, hakaw, salted egg chicken, steamed fish, bacon shaomai, stuffed shrimp and stuffed taro. All dishes were delicious but the chicken kind of lacked the "salted egg" part but it was still tasty! :)
Serving was fast and the staff were very accommodating and attentive. I'll be coming back here for sure.
Good thing about this restaurant is that it is Yam Cha all day and night. You'll never get that in Aus. Food taste has not shifted since I left, but the feel of the place has changed. Previously, located close to the Metro Ayala, not is close to the cinema. As always its busy as! Quick service if the staff remembers, but there is some order in the chaos. No matter what review you give on this place, this will always be a Cebuano fave.
i’ve always a fan of chinese food, that’s why when i crave for spicy steamed rice and quail egg siomai, this place in ayala is definitely one that satisfies my cravings. the welcoming was good, cart dishes were served hot, and the service was fast. the place is usual packed during lunch and dinner especially on the weekends. you wont be disappointed with the great selection of chinese cuisine at a great price
Offers one of the best steamed rice in town! The place was spacious and comfortable. My mom enjoyed dining here because of their dining tables hahaha! We'll be back! 💜

My favorite dim sum house in Cebu. The place feels so festive; very conducive for eating a wide ranged of dim sum meals. Carts with dim sum will be served around the restaurants for diners to order from without the hassle of leaving their seats.
The ornaments, the chairs and tables, even the attire of all their waiters are Chinese inspired. You can also ask for a pair of chop sticks to complete that dim sum experience.
They have great selection of dim sum meals from shaomais, rolls, vegetables, fish, chicken, and pork. They also serve rice pots, noodles, soups, and desserts.
My all time favorite meals here includes: yang chao fried rice for my rice pot, quail egg's shaomai and fried shrimp balls for my dim sum, and for desserts, lo mai chi.
The serving is Ideal for 1 person, unless you order a variety then it's good for sharing. The siomai vs empress, I prefer the empress, it's meatier though it's just served by 2's. They do serve fast, they use this push carts to roll over the rice meals, dimsum, and Fried foods.
Harbour City is one of my go to places for a quick fix. Usually food is ready to eat since food carts roam around the place and you can choose your food on the spot.
Favorites include their Steamed Fried Rice, Sweet and Sour Pork, Crab Pincer, Regular Shaomai, Quail Egg Shaomai, and Stuffed Shrimp. Though their Steamed Fried Rice is already a meal in itself, I always opt to eat with something on the side.
Ambience is quite cozy. Wooden fixtures abound. The interiors are Chinese inspired.
Service can be inconsistent though. There are times when service is prompt, quick, and attentive. And there are times when it's the complete opposite as well.
Regardless, food is still king and because of it, I still choose to dine here.
MUST TRY: STEAMED FRIED RICE
This is my favorite Chinese resto so far. Been here a lot of times. The place is packed often times but the service is fast since you really don't have to wait for your order for too long because their service crew have their carts who'll just pass by your table and you just have to select what you want. The staff are also very accomodating to your needs. As for the food, I recommend to just try everything. They're all good! 😊
I came after 12 noon. The place is full but we were seated immediately. Really fast service 👌🏼.
Everyone has a smile on their faces that made me think that they really live their jobs (cue envy) and they were really accommodating and friendly. This is my first time to eat in Harbour City. I really like their empress rolls.
We ordered the 2 steamed rice, spring and empress rolls and 2 siomais, a bottled water and iced tea and we only paid 600 pesos. Very affordable.
Just wish that the steamed rice is chopstickable 😂
Crab pincers, spicy steamed rice, spring rolls, and bacon shaomai are so good. You don't have to spend tons of money to enjoy delicious dimsum.

Chinese dimsum and more the way I like it!!! Noisy, rowdy, stinky but really good and tasty!!! Steamed dimsum carts, rice carts and fried dimsum carts going around. Kids running and shouting. Hehehehe. Best meal I have had this week in Cebu! I will be back in two weeks!!!
The ambience of the place is okay and the food choices so far are good. What I like most is their customer service which would really make you more happy to order. It was my first time but it was satisfying especially the steam rice.
A great place to get that Dimsum cravings over with. Popular and bestsellers here are their steamed rice and siomai selections.
This place can get seriously packed at times. The serving time isn't that long, nonetheless.
Food: I ordered the Spare Ribs Hotpot and it was delicious! It brought me back to Hong Kong! The broth and the sauce were flavorful. The ribs were tender. I also had the fried wanton, which was just okay. I love their Mango Xei Ping -- light and not too sweet. It could compete with Subling and Snow Shack.
Their steamed rice are my go to orders when my budget is kinda short.
Price: Very affordable
Place: Kinda crowded but bearable. HK themed (sticks to its name)
Service: Was kind of disorganized for me. Server kept forgetting our drinks.
My meal will not be completed if I dont have my favorite "steamed rice". Ehehe.. Enjoying wih their different types of siomai as well as their tender juicy chicken feet. LOVE IT.

A friend told us about this resto and during one of my Cebu trips while waiting for hotel check in, we decided to try this resto. At first you would think it's a typical Chinese resto but it's not. They have a new twist to the rice topping done fresh in front of you. Love the carts going around with dumplings great service too and very reasonable priced
Still the same after all these years. I make it a point when visiting Cebu to eat here and get my dimsum craving answered. It's in a new location within the Ayala center I guess bigger now but still a lot of people and a waiting line outside. Til the next visit then.
Good thing that they have their Dumpling festival every 2pm-5pm wherein we can get 50% off on their Shaomai, Spring Rolls, Fried wanton and Buchi (which I didn't order it though) Their crew are accommodating and attended to our requests immediately. Gonna come back here soon :)
I always drop by Harbour City, whenever I'm I'm Cebu, for the nostalgia. I remember enjoying the steam rice and empress roll but on more recent trips, it hasn't been the same.
I don't know if it's just because I'm not longer in my teens or early twenties (or late twenties or early thirties lol) but I don't enjoy it as much as I used to. Maybe I've had better food? Maybe the quality has changed? Ah well.
I might just take this out of my routine when visiting Cebu.

Im not a fan of Chinese food but this restaurant made me like it. The siomai, lumpia, siopao etc were really good when I ate their. I recommend this to all those "not a fan of Chinese food" out there.
We were a group of 6 when we decided to have lunch at Harbor City-Ayala.Food is great at reasonable prices.Spicy steam rice is one of our favorites and match it with vegetable spring roll is just soo perfect!
The place is conducive for barkada dining..
Some of my favorite Chinese food are here and they're my favorite comfort food. Their location in Ayala is easy to spot which makes it easier for me to enter and grab me my favorite Rice Bowls and Shao Mai.
HALO-HALO with a TWIST
In the photo is Xie Ping, Dimsum Break and Harbour City's take on Filipinos' well loved halo-halo. What makes it interesting is that the shaved ice and ube ice cream are already mixed so you have a smooth purple cold mixture that's creamy and thick in consistency. It's topped with sweet preserved beans (red beans and chick peas), coconut meat (macapuno), jackfruit (langka) and pounded dried rice (pinipig)

I used to be based in Manila for years and one of the things that I usually crave when I am away is the dim sum from Cebu Chinese restaurants. Harbour City is one restaurants that can truly satisfy my dim sum cravings. When I eat at this restaurant, I can usually finish at least two servings of steamed rice plus a host of dim sum like spring rolls, siomai, hakaw, spare ribs, and empress rolls. It is just one of those restaurant that I eat at more than 5 times in a year.
Last Friday, I was craving for some dim sum and dumplings and so decided to go to Harbour City Dimsum House for lunch. Harbour City is a popular Chinese restaurant in Cebu City. It's considered an institution in the food business. Baskets of dumplings and dim sum are carted around the restaurant and all you need to do is tell the waiter what you want. There's a lot of dishes to order from but for the most part, I just stick to my all-time favorites.
