The place is big, it's just very hard to get to unless you have a car that can go up steep roads.
The staff was really nice and helpful.
We ordered pizza, meringue, tiny cheesecakes, ice cream and truffles. My favorite was the pizza. the crust was thin and they did not skimp on the ingredients.
The view outside is nice and there are also some instagrammable spots.
I wasn't a fan of the wine and cheese at all.
One thing i did not like was how the food was wrapped for take-out(half of the pizza). It was just placed on top of each other and put in a paper bag(one they use bread)... so of course it leaked all over my bag. I thought they would have at least wrapped it in aluminum foil first. :(

My boyfriend and I ordered some cheeses, cold cuts, a make your own salad and a bottle of shiraz red wine all for 1,600 roughly. It was a self service joint but the ambiance and quality of food for its price was worth it.
I love the place, I’m really impressed with yellow lightings..Upon entering you have to pay 100/person but that’s consumable, fair enough..Good place for family, friends and couples..I enjoyed the city lights and cold wind..The music though, a bit loud..Be careful with the comfort rooms, no signage on the door for male/female..and no mirrors by the way..
I really like their new rule that you have to pay first before going inside so that they will easily control the crowd bec I heard there are other people who will only visit and take pictures and doesnt even order anything. The rule is reasonable bec the place is amazing! Every corner of the place matches my taste in furnitures and paintings. Their food and icecream are great. The place is a good spot for taking photos.
La Vie is your go-to for a casual afternoon/night catching up with old friends and not necessarily get drunk. You can never go wrong with Peach wine, the crowd favorite. There aren’t much artisanal wines though. But you can indulge in a bowl of salad that you make yourself, some pizza, macarons, cheeses and cold cuts. Spectacular views of the city (see photo for reference) are a huge bonus!
Nice ambiance and food is great not just for couple vibes. Went here with my family had a good time drinking white wine, enjoyed the city view even though it rained for a while it still was a very pleasing experience on that place.
Very awesome view! Affordable drinks and pizzas. This place is more of a hangout/chill out place for friends, colleagues etc. Good for long talks and for unwinding. I don't know if I recommend this place for the whole family.
All stars are for the place and ambiance, not for the food which is mediocre at best. Their pasta is criminally overcooked which may work for local people but not for someone who is looking for a real thing. Thier gellato is OK though, so just eat one, get some desert and enjoy the view.
The menu in this restaurant is not so pricey and the interior is so classy! Plus the view is really breathtaking-- seeing almost the whole city of CEBU
About the food, we ordered made your own salad, we tried their pizza, carbonara pasta, also some truffles and gelato!
I rated 4 stars because when I presented my card for payment, it took 8-10mins before they processed it. Maybe because of the slow signal in their machine.
Final verdict: A definitely "go-to" place in Cebu especially when you wanted a wine night or chill out dinner with friends! ♥️
I love this place so much! The chilly air and great view of Cebu City while enjoying food and drinks is such a great treat! Great for dates, hanging out with friends, or maybe some alone time.
