Yakimix offer great Asian buffet in cebu city. They have mostly korean, japanese and chinese food. They taste all good, and it is well seasoned. The place is also big and comfortable to sit and eat. However, the dessert is not the best dessert I ate, and there are many restaurant and buffet that serve better desserts than yakimix. Nonetheless, I enjoyed eating in Yakimix, and I will gladly come back
It was around December 2018 when I first visited YakiMix even though I lived nearby and it’s just a few minutes walk from our home. During that time, I was accompanied by 5 coworkers because we were treated for a meal by my American Senior Manager. We went there around 1 pm and we just walked in without reservation since there are still plenty of tables.
When I got into their buffet, some foods were no longer available and I didn’t noticed any refill. But since there are still plenty to choose from so I did not insist on refilling it.
I enjoyed the grilling by the way and were very excited with the sushi’s and other japanese cuisine.
The staff though were not very accomodating but they still provide you with what you need, just be patient- meaning you need to call them multiple times in many minutes before they decide to accomodate you and you need to wait for another many minutes before they provide you with that you requested.
For the taste, the raw beef were indeed very salty but I like their sausage. For other food, the taste were okay but not too impressive. But you will still come out full and contented.
So I got here with my friend because it’s her birthday. The place was nice, and the staff were accomodating. There were tons of foods, japanese foods were the majority. The kimchi was so delicious plus the different sushi that were so yummy. It’s a buffet so i suggest that don’t eat rice so that you could eat a lot. Hehe. They have a dessert section also and the chocolate fountain as well. Definitely something i’d love to go back to. 😍

So much sushi to choose for if you’re a sushi lover and want a reasonable price, this will be your heaven. The wasabi is nice and strong just a heads up.

The staff were accommodating. The scent of smoke may stick to your clothes. If it's a bother, you may want to bring an extra shirt.
Food was great although there wasn't that much choices. I loved the ambiance of the place. My friends and I went there during lunch and it was not crowded.
Celebrated my husband’s birthday here and it was super sulit 👍🏾 good food at affordable price for a buffet. I highly recommend this place for special events like birthdays.

We enjoyed our night here together with my friends. So many foods to choose from, chocolates desserts, ice creams, and more! I enjoyed so much eating there seafoods variety, and its unlimited! I recommend the place for its crew, clean place, and of course their food! 😗😆😉
Food was actually good, although you have to cook it by yourself... and it depends on how you cook it cause there are other food that is still raw or got overcooked. I loveee their DESSERT area!! AND... they have service fee on top of the amount for lunch/dinner even though it was you who's cooking and you just call them if you need help or ask questions lol
Went here with my family to celebrate my sister’s birthday. We had a great time! We didn’t even tried searching their opening hours & didn’t do any reservations. We were just so lucky & blessed that we still got a spot when we went there, it was dinner and we were just on time, minutes before they open. The food was amazing! Their staff though are not that friendly, not even smiling. They should teach their employees how to show great customer service. Anyway, I’d still go back here with my family. ✌🏼
Tried their seafood buffet where you can sit, cook and dine in with built-in stoves/ burners every table. It includes fresh fish, seafood, chicken, pork — to be cooked in the burners, salads, fruits, desserts, unlimited drinks, pizza, delicious cooked meals and of course a Sushi bar! The food was great, freshly displayed and well presented at the counters. Their staff has great customer service. Overall a good buffet experience, perfect place to celebrate any special occasion. We celebrated Mother's Day here. We booked a day before we went which was already late. Luckily, we got into the reservations, without going through the waitlist. They open their dinner buffet early and closes it by almost midnight, which is a plus point for buffet restaurants.
The location of the restaurant was easily accessible. The restaurant has only small tables for small groups but they also have VIP tables, which was located in another room and a table can accommodtae upto 15-20 people. We had that reserved without additional charge.
The restaurant is known for their grill-all-u-want. I can say that their meats are of high quality. And what's good about it is that you many to choose from. I had really a hard time what to pick at that time. Haha. Their grills are quite clean. As for the dessert, truly delicious!
The staff was really nice. Since it was also my birth month (i had a promo for it, 3+1), they sang and DANCED happy bithday to me, with the accompaniment of a drum. It was really cute and it was the first time that I have seen like that when going to eat out in restaurants.
Overall, I truly recommend this place for big and large grouo gatherings.

This restaurant has a great value for money. Lots of choices for grilled food and well-marinated. They serve japanese, filipino and chinese (dimsum and saw that schezuan beef one time). Desserts were also awesome and you can make your unli halohalo. What more can your empty stomach ask for?
For those who are planning to come here, I suggest you do the reservation in advance. I came here with my team mates to celebrate the anniversary of our Jiu jitsu academy, It was a great experience to dine here. This restaurant has a lot of food choices to choose from. Great buffet experience at Yakimix. Lots of choices, from sushi to shabu-shabu to viands to desserts. Call ahead to reserve a table, as we never got to wait outside. Ample parking and easily located. Some buffet offers better Japfood but for its price, this is already a great deal.

There were a lot of customers when we got to the place. However, we were able to find a table, yayy! There were various kinds of japanese, korean and filipino food to choose from. The food was good. The price was okay for such buffet. The staffs were quick and accommodating.

The place is big however there are times that it gets crowded especially on weekends so if its a special occasion, you need to call in advance for reservations.

Yakimix... We had our dinner there with my sister. Since we are Japanese food lover we took it first specially the salmon, tempura and salmon.. Others dishes are good so far.. For the grilling station we chose all types of pork, shrimp and a ham.. Taste good. No need to worry for extra charges for the drinks its included. You can choose soda or juices. Price is reasonable for buffet... Love it.
This buffet restaurant definitely falls into my Top 10 all-you-can-eat food places in Cebu. They have a good variety of food choices from selected cuisines that you can choose from.
The quantity of meat selections for Yakiniku and Korean BBQ is commendable, and the quality was just acceptable for a buffet restaurant. Some dishes might not be that impressive, but Yakimix as a whole, is a decent buffet venue to dine in.

Over all ambiance is great. They have plenty of staff to assist you. Food is also good. Of course, as a buffet restaurant you get to eat many dishes and you also will miss some of the dishes. But, when we got our 2nd rounds of cooking, our cooking table already got burned out and we have some food that is also burned out. Hahahahha. But will certainly comeback!
Yakimix has become a part of my top 5 picks for buffet restaurants. The service and ambience is GREAT. I do however recommend you to make reservations ahead because if you go directly without making reservations the chances of you having to be wait-listed is 60% so make reservations ahead. The food is SPECTACULAR and so filling. If your looking to satisfy that Asian craving, Yakimix is the place for you.
Overrated japanese buffet restaurant! Similar to Tokyo Table but is cheaper. The place was spacious and has that modern look. They have a convenient option to grill meat and seafood as well. I loved the chocolate fountain, which was pretty cool and complemented the dessert buffet nicely.

I celebrated my 26th birthday here,just yesterday. Good thing I brought my gov't ID and presented it to them, I got my dine for free since they have ingoing promo for 3+1 (3 reg paying adults and the birthday celebrant is free) .🎉 Better reserve your slot at least a day before. Dishes are mainly Asian(as the restaurant's name implies) which is what I like. My most favorite part is the smokeless grilling, they have just the freshest meat(so far) with all kinds of marinade, shrimp, crab, sausages,.Savory sauce for the grilled meat. I would really recommend those who are meat lovers out there, to try Yakimix.

I would say this is one of the best buffet restaurant in Cebu. The price is good. A lot of varities to choose. You can also get raw meat and cook on your table. What we tried was their pizza, their japanese foods, the meat in strips, chopsuey and siomai. They also offer desserts like ice cream, halo halo and cupcakes. They also have candies, mango with "hipon". Love it.

If you're looking for an affordable buffet place, then Yakimix is the place to be. While the spread may not be really that expansive, they still have a good selection of food. Available food is fresh enough and they are quite quick to provide refills. We went there when a friend was celebrating his birthday, so the staff was kind enough to provide a free cake and a quick song number. All in all a good experience!

Its a good go to place when you are craving for japanese buffet. Price is right and selections are generally delicious. The ambiance is better than the regular yakimix in manila. It feels a little more upscale than the regular yakimix in Greenbelt
Far different from their branch in Manila. I could say that their ingredient were fresh and all the viands were very good. During our visit, the place was not so crowded. I love their sushis, salads and of course bbqs. I would love to come back here and enjoy again a delightful meal. Worth your money!
A great place to dine for lunch or dinner. It's a one-stop-place for everything that you desire Asian. Yakimix has smokeless grill perfect for your favorite yakiniku or tepan. Their raw food choices are excellent. Been to Yakimix twice and I noticed that they always ran out of Salmon, or at least the salmon plate is almost empty all the time. There's a good spread of raw food that you can grill, it's a seafood heaven in their raw section. Meat like beef and pork and chicken are also available. Desserts are not too good as far as variety. I love that it's unlimited drinks for the customers. It's best to visit Yakimix on a Saturday lunch since they have complete offerings on weekends.

They have a variety of fresh seafoods and meat for grilling! My favorite station is their Japanese Station! They have a wide selections of sushi, maki, and sashimi!
I've got to try their sambo, mousse cake, panna cotta, and their ice cream. Their desserts are kinda mouthwatering and they never ran out of desserts. 👌

Yakimix is one of the raved buffet places in Cebu and it deserves so because of their wide array of food especially Asian food. Each selection is well prepared. My favorite is the Japanese station that is comprised of my favorite Japanese food like sushi, sashimi and the like. The sweets and desserts section is also very wide an is sure to satisfy every sweet tooth.
I always enjoy my time in Yakimix. My first visit here was with a friend last year and we had so much fun we won't forget that lunch date. We placed so much food in our plates more than what we could consume, and in the end we almost lost the battle between man versus food. Almost.
My second time here was another lunch date but this was with my father and my younger sibs. I enjoyed their presence and I learned from last experience to be minimal and true. I was proud to finish everything I put on my plate.
I also realized that I should always make a reservation as the place is always packed, lunch or dinner.

They have special discounts if it's your birthday (minimum of 4 in the party). I like that you can cook on your table., Yakiniku-style. They replenish their sashimi station frequently. As of January 4, 2016, they're charging 5% service charge. For food choices, ambience, location...I'm giving a 4 as a rating.
Their food selection is just OK but I think their Manila branch has more food selection. Taste wise, I have no complaints. Ambiance-wise, the tables are well-spaced and not too crowded.
