Loved the chicken kebab. The owner was very friendly and apologized in advance that their food sometimes takes a few minutes to prepare, which is something that I do not mind at all. If you want good food, you really have to wait for it. And boy, was it worth the wait!
I highly recommend this place if you want really good Indian food!
Love Indian food and this place takes first place in my opinion for the whole of Cebu. Still work in progress with the venue but the food has all the flavours and each and every dish has its own unique flavour. Many others have tried but to my taste the spice has what I like.
Entered and ganpati bappa morya..Had proper indian food after coming to cebu that too superbly prepared as requested..had such a tasty lassi after a long search.overall a superb experiene be it staff, food or ambience..
One cannot argue the authenticity as the dishes are actually prepared by the Indian family. I think this place serve both northern and southern flavours. Delicious!
A well cooked indian meal finally available in cebu. Though the traffic in this city is really bad. Took us 1 hr from mango avenue. But if you wanna eat good indian food, this is the place to be.
The service here is a little lousy, with only 1 waiter cum manager visible. We visited during lunch hours. But totally worth the taste never mind the lousy service.
I’ve enjoyed eating here several times over the past couple years - their food and service are great! I ask for extra spicy Chicken Tikka Marsala on basmati rice - it’s fantastic! The owner is friendly and often stops by to say hello - try this place for your Indian cravings!
All I can say is: if you want an Indian resto with really good food, a great rustic setting with a dining area where you can smoke, and pleasant service, then Cherry's The Spice is the perfect place for you.
My fiance knows I love Indian food so he took me here. We had paneer tikka masala (cottage cheese tofu with tomato-based gravy) and mutton curry, with butter naan. We got really stuffed and satisfied. The waitress was very friendly, and upon entering, you are immediately served with a pitcher of water.
Definitely a must-try and must-frequent! 👌👍
I am now totally inlove with Indian food! Thanks to my bae😝 I don't like the ambiance though, its also hot inside and serving time takes about half an hour. But when it comes to flavour, its very rich and creamy 🤗 definitely coming back. Well this is my go to resto when im craving for spicy foods
Food was excellent... we asked for very spicy and got it. For two of us, we had paneer tikka masala, butter chicken, rice, and garlic naan. There were definitely leftovers to take home! Our meal ended with two steaming cups of chai. The one disappointment was the atmosphere... it didn't feel like India at all (except for the Telugu news station playing in the background).
The food was great, the chef was also friendly. We ordered chicken biryani, shahi paneer, plain naan and of course their tea. Their paneer was a winner and i love their naan as well coz it was not that oily however their tea though lacks flavor, not sure but maybe because I'm a tea person. Overall, the experience was great.
Im not really a fan of indian cuisine but if you're looking for an authentic one, this place is a must visit.
I recommend everyone to try their Dosa and Tea, its really good.
The place is ok. The service is ok.
The food is the best of it's kind you'll find here in Cebu. If you're fond of their aromatic spices, then this is it. For first timers I highly recommend the following:
#1 Mutton Saagwala ⭐ (Trust me)
#2 Boiled Egg Curry
#3 Aloo Gobi Curry
Paired with:
#1 Basmati Rice (not plain, has spices)
#2 Chapati
Would I go back here?
- Yes in 2 weeks or so.
