Went to visit the branch and they were not closed. They just had a renovation hence they closed for a few weeks. They are now open serving take out and few dishes for dine in. The staff told me that will fully operate serving other dishes by November.
The hype is real - this is the place where you can get the best lechon. Tasty, tender and it taste the same whether hot or cold (brought leftovers and ate them at the hotel).
This particular store’s ambiance though is not too impressive. If you are particular with that, you might not enjoy your stay. We went there around 4 in the afternoon and the place was almost empty. They turned off the lights which makes the eerie feel even more evident.
Overall, good place to get your lechon and I mean get it fast if you don’t like to eat it there. We brought 4 kilos more (😉) to be cooked as paksiw (my personal favorite) in Manila (and Cavite, where my bro stays).
September 2013
Just dug up this picture from way back 2013 when I had a brief stint in Metro Cebu.
The best Lechon in Metro Cebu that I've ever tasted, hands down.
I also tried Ayer Lechon, Rico's Lechon and Zubuchon in Cebu but for me it's CnT
Probably the best lechon that I have ever tasted in Cebu. Crunchy and crisp on the outside and juicy and tender on the inside. The taste is just right. CNT Lechon beats all the others who claim that their lechon cebu is “the best.” Price are also very reasonable. If you’re looking for ambiance though, CNT isn’t exactly the place to be. Dine here if it is honest to goodness lechon that you’re craving for, but for ambiance, this probably isn’t a good place to eat in. Takeout boxes are also being sold for convenient carry-on or takeaway as pasalubong to family and friends. The lechon according to them can last up to a month if placed on the freezer. I’d certainly be back in CNT if and when I get to visit Cebu once again in the future.
Lechon at its finest, worth the price. 💰
Great and friendly crew. 😌
Sanitary wise, good. ☺️
A great place to dine with your visitors. 😋👌
One of Cebu's oldest and finest lechons (roast pig). I've done my RRL (Review of Related Lechons) earlier this year but I failed to visit their flagship branch at Cebu's reclamation. So the first thing on my agenda upon my latest trip to Cebu was to head off to taste their lechon. Alas, it was way after lunch and their legendary pig was almost sold-out. I had to settle for scraps and legs. Nonetheless, Ben these did not disappoint. The lechon was tasty and not too salty. It was the epitome of what Cebusno lechon is all about. I would have given a perfect 5 if not for the old, dirty, hot, carideria vibe. Plus, next I should get the chance parts.
When good food is your main purpose, the ambiance would not really matter, for me.
Cebu is best known for lechon and CNT is well-known to serve the sumptuous crispy lechon in the city.
I love the way they cook their lechon, the texture, the "chewiness" and taste of the meat and the crispiness of the skin is very yummy.
If you do not like to eat in their place, you can always opt for a take-out, like what we did.
But out of hunger, we have also tried dining in this branch once. You just need to look for a corner near an electric fan or near the window for natural light and fresh air.
It has a good location (away from traffic congestion) and an excellent parking space. The food ordering process is very good that you have to get a number before being entertained. With regards to food, they have one of the best lechon in the country. Balbacua is also a must try. My only suggestion is to let their crew accomodate orders well because I could see them many and doing nothing.
Tried this branch a year ago. They provide the best tasting classic lechon Cebu. It was fun to watch the butchers (for lack of a better word) chop the pig inyo pieces. I love it!
Visit in Cebu is not complete without eating in CNT their lechon is really different from the others specially dip the spicy vinegar. The place need to reinvent its too hot can't concentrate eating much bcoz of sweating staff are not that friendly I was informed they have branch in ayala center i think i will go there instead of the original place but lenchon is great saving the best for last. Till next time Cebu.

Legit litson cebu! And real cheap too at 120 pero 1/4 kilo serving - thats a whole plate full for two. They also serve really good balbacua - super rich ox tail and pig skin soup 😱
Come early because they usually run out of fresh litson at about 4pm on a weekday.
