Food at Max’s is always good. I like how they infuse Filipino cuisine with some international cuisines they have available on their menu. And for those who grew up with champorado as snacks, their champorado is to die for! So chocolatey and definitely delicious.
When you want a crispy chicken and the best garlic rice? Just check this restaurant! It’s my first time to try it actually or I tried it before. (I can’t remember 😂😅) Or I’m just super delighted how chicken turns to crispy and yummy one. And they’re offering some delicacies on the counter too. Mango shake was on point. Waiters were super nice. Smiling and asking how’s the food. Though, we only ordered a family chicken meal. Worth the price;)
Been this restaurant several times because my mom loves Max so bad. and i almost tried all their foods including desserts and drinks. the staffs will entertain you well, foods were freaking great, the venue is cozy too.and you can bring your entire family their. i like it
Love the place. The service is attentive, and place is clean. Price-wise not too friendly for dinner for two but there is always a budget meal. If you are in a group of 4 or more I think the price is more worth it. The way they cook their chicken is also refreshing compared to the big fast food chains.
1. Atmosphere/ Ambiance: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Feels like eating at home. Place is well lighted not too bright not too dark. I like how they dress up their staff.
2. Cleanliness: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
3. Service: ⭐️⭐️⭐️
The last time we visited there, we were seated at the back. They need to assign someone there so that people will not have a hard time calling.
4. Food: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
A hearty Filipino meal. Get their set meals - appetizer and or side (pansit) that goes with the chicken. Don't forget to try their chicken (we'll they are not named such if they are not known for their chicken).
5. Accessibility of the resto: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
My rating above is basing my old and new favorite dishes in Max's restaurant.
Because when we talk about the location of this particular branch, rarely do we visit here since it it not accessible for our family, especially my parents who are at their senior years. But when I had the chance to revisit this branch, I ordered my old favorite: Fried chicken
and a new discovery (since I have been lately into dishes with tofu ) and a new favorite too: the Tofu con lechon.
* 1/2 FRIED CHICKEN - I have been liking the taste of Max's chicken, well-cooked, crispiness is just right but the taste from the skin to the meat is indeed mouthwatering
* TOFU con LECHON was something new to me and to the family but since they supported me of my cravings for anything with tofu, so we dared to order. Surprisingly it did not fail my expectations, it was certainly delicious!
I am pretty happy that they now have rice bowls for 199 pesos with Pepsi. With the rice bowls, I don't need to order a whole kare-kare or crispy pata when I am alone. Their fried chicken is still one of my favorites of all time. The caramel bar sundae is a satisfying meal ender.
When I want to eat a delicious chicken, this is one of the place. There chicken are tasty good. One of the best restaurant that serves delicious chicken.
Max's is a family tradition. We have a lot of memories with their fried chicken. We've celebrated a lot of events in their restos.
I love the spices that they use for the chicken and when they fry them, the meat doesn't dry up. And they're the only ones that serve camote fries instead of french fries.
I like their palabok and fresh lumpia as well. Very Luzon-style in terms of taste.
They also have set meals or family meals available.

There's a reason why their WHOLE FRIED CHICKEN is a hit. Only those who have tried it can understand why it is such. Other dishes are good too.
